Printing pages in reverse order as a default for Mac os 10.6.3

Help!
Not sure what happened ...
I'm trying to print document from all applications and as a default the driver is printing pages (E.G 20page doc)
with page 1 first and the 2 on top, then 3 etc (pages face up as is ink jet fashion...) finally with page 20 on top ...
No good, not what I want!
I do know that I can open the Word print dialog box which does contain a setting Copies & Pages/Page Handling/Page Order with the options "automatic, normal, reverse" but every time I go into a new doc I have to do this every time.
How do I set this as the default?
Maybe this is not an Apple issue? I'm using an Epson TX810FW ...may have to take it up with them ...?
Any help would be most gratefully appreciated!!

Set it up how you want it and then save it as a preset. You will probably find that once you've used it the print driver will default to it on subsequent printings.

You can use JavaScript to move the pages within the PDF. See the example in the Acrobat JS API Reference.

Prints check in reverse order

Installed a 1510 printer to print checks from Quickbooks 2015. They print in reverse order and I cannot find out where to change this setting in Windows 8.1

EPub Pages in reversed Order since iOs 8

HI all
since upgrading, one (and only one) of my books has pages in reverse. I must flip from right to left, last page is page one...
anyone has had that problem???

How can I open links on a page loaded with Firefox in my default browser (Mac Safari) instead of Firefox?

I don't want Firefox to be my default browser, but I do want to use it for certain things. When I do use it, if there's a link on a web page, it doesn't respect my default browser selection which is Safari (Mac). It always opens the link in Firefox. This makes me not want to use it at all. Can I fix this?

Issue with processig calendar order in iPhoto 8 for Mac

Hi,
I have iPhoto 8 on my Mac. I created a calendar but when I want to order the calendar I get an error message saying that they can no longer process orders for iPhoto 7. So I'm not able order the calendar.
I cannot upgrade to the latest version of iLife because my laptop is too old.
I installed iPhone on my iPad but in this app you cannot create calendars.
Any suggestions?

Small clarification:
You have iPhoto 08 - that's a Marketing name, the actual version of iPhoto is v7
iPhoto 09 is a marketing name - the version of iPhoto is v8
And iPhoto 11 is actually v9 of iPhoto
And of course none of that is remotely confusing in the slightest.
So there are two versions of iPhoto you can upgrade to - 09 and 11 - that will run on 10.6.8 and still allow you to order prints. You can run all version of iPhoto 09 on 10.6.8 and any version of iPhoto 11 up to v9.2.3.
And again, that's all clear and simple to follow, right?

Photo gallery page from iWeb '08 doesn't work for Mac OS X 10.3.9 user?

I have recently published a photo gallery page with comments on using iWeb '08 (latest update). Displays fine for me and apparently a lot of other mixed-platform users. But one user is saying that his eMac with Mac OS X 10.3.9 and the Safari of the day don't display the pictures. He gets the banner and background image for the gallery, but not the actual pictures. I asked him to try Firefox, but so far no reply on that.
Do the older versions of Safari work with content from iWeb '08?

I wish that Apple would TELL US or advertise the facts like, Oh, you only get ONE gallery for each user on Web Gallery (useless) and Oh, you will not be able to edit 06 iWeb pages with 08 iWeb and the iLife 08 version of iPhoto you will not be able to view these galleries without upgrading to the latest Safari web browser. Yes we always expect some bugs with a major update but this is getting ridiculous.
I have not yet had anybody try downloading the newest version of Firefox that will work with 10.3.9. Do you know if that will make a difference? Thanks for your help.

Sample /etc/sysctl.conf.default for Mac OS X 10.8.4 Server?

I foolishly modified the /etc/sysctl.conf file on my Macmini server running 10.8.4 server and now things do not work as expected:
* most programs fail to launch (Firefox, Git, Safari)
* the system takes a long time to boot
* there is no network connectivity
* the Server app (and services) fail to launch
I'll greatly appreciate if somebody could post or point me to a stock or default "/etc/sysctl.conf" file.
I did try deleting the /etc/sysctl.conf file altogether, but it did not solve my problem.

This thread is about Postgres on OS X Server, which is installed by default. You shouldn't have to do anything else to set it up. HP8600 prints in reverse order from OSX 10.9.5. Connected via wired network.

Its printing back to front. I see how to fix this in Win 7, but there seems to be no option in HP Utilty on the mac; Paper Handling has only 'Tray Lock' and 'Default Tray'.

Printing page order options: meanings? differences?

In the print dialog box, under page order, there are 3 options.
Automatic (default)
Normal
Reverse
What is the meaning of Automatic?
If I am doing double sided large document printing on a non duplex printer I would first print the odd numbered pages in the Normal page order.
Next with the odd page stack back in the paper tray I would print the even pages in the Reverse order. This works for an even number of total pages, but not for an odd number of total pages, page 2 would end up on the back of page 3, not back of page one.
Will the Automatic page order option solve this problem by automatically inserting a blank page as the first page of the even side page printing when the total page count is odd?
Does this Q make any sense?

The "Automatic(default)" refers to what is specified in the printer's PPD file. That may be either page 1 first (usually Normal) or page 1 last (usually Reverse). It may vary from printer to printer or from driver to driver. For example, my Epson Stylus Photo 1280 will print page 1 first when I use the Epson drivers when I use Automatic. If I use the Gutenprint drivers, it will print the last page first if I use Automatic.
If you are doing a lot of manual duplex printing, you might want to take a look at CocoaBooklet _http://www.iconus.ch/fabien/products/cbeng/cbeng.html_. It can simplify matters greatly.
