Printing Production Order -- Cover Page Problem

When a production order is printed, a cove page is generated by a form ZPSFC_PRINT_LAY. ZPSFC_PRINT_LAY is designed to print necessary information regarding all operations, including base rate and etc. I modified ZPSFC_PRINT_LAY to include one more piece of information and now I am trying to modify its program that calls all the tables and has created the form itself. I am having difficulty in finding it. The form is not mentioned under nace. I also checked the TNAPR and it is not there. Where do I find a program for sapscript form ZPSFC_PRINT_LAY that is used for Production Order Cover Sheet? PLEASE HELP! THANKS!

You can't find production order lay out sets link with print programs in TNAPR.
Please use T/code : OPK8 to configure the Print Shop Papers .
You have to assing your custom Print programs and sap scripts by using above transaction.

Problem printing production order.

The production order can be printed in CO02 screen itself.(Ctrl+P). To define what to be printed, you need to identify/define the correct list in the transaction OPK8. Once the correct combination is selected for the required plant and order type, this can be printed in production order.
But for the preview after printing, you can view the spools created in SP01.
Or T code CO04N or CO04 is meant for printing production orders
Need to do the setting in OPK8

File pdf-reference.pdf doesn't print properly - only cover page

When I try to print the standard pdf reference from the Acrobat 8.0 SDK samples in all.sln in Visual Studio, only the cover page prints. Further, the sample javascript object program only says there is one page. The file consists of the cover page, and four embedded pdf files, totaling 1500 + pages. How do you make the samples print out the cover page, and then extract and print the embedded parts of the file?

The java object sample should say "this file has 4 sub-files and totals 1500 pages", etc.
What is the problem here?

I don't know if there is a sample showing you how to do this - but it's pretty easy.
Look at the documentation for the Data Object in the SDK JavaScript docs.

Issue with printing production order after changes through CO02

Hi,
Currently I have one issue with printing production order changes through CO02. If I go for print, all the operations are captured in printout. But after the print, if I add any new operations to this production order, and then go for print, its not capturing the newly added operations. Also, there is information popup coming "Copies will be printed for order. Original list already printed". This message effectively means, even after changes, when I go for print functionality, its just going for printing copies of original printed list.
Can anyone help me out to get the newly added operations reflected in the print through CO02 ?

Print Production Order with status CRTD

Hi gurus,
Our system is configured to print production order when the order is released, but when the order is in status CRTD,Created, (not Released) we try print the order an error message appears "Object ORD xxxxxx has system status CRTD (Created). According to this status, transaction 'Print order (original)' is not allowed".
Is it possible print orders before release action?

Through transaction BS22 you can configure the system to Print the Order even at CRTD status.

Printing production order in a created status

Can I print a production order when it is in a created status. If yes then how do I control the configuration

I standard SAP, this is not allowed. If you need than you need to make changes to CRTD status in BS22 transaction where you need to allow "PRINT" business transaction. Caution, this would be applicable to all applications not only PP. I dont really recommend this.

<b>yeah u can , by using the Program RSTXLDMC u can upload Logo / any Images into SAP and u can call them in SAP Scripts like this
INCLUDE ZHEX-MACRO-ASDC LANGUAGE EN OBJECT TEXT ID ST, ASDC is the Logo / image name which is in Standard text or u can directly Upload BITMAP files into SAP by using Tcode SE78</b>

Collective production order---GR/GI problem

Dear guru
My scenerio is collective production order. I have created PUMP header material and 2 component in that component i have maintained 52 special procurment key . and automatically 3 production order are created .
Now I want to create a stock of header material (PUMP) .
Actually I tried through MB31 and I do GR of header material and stock is also created to this material .
but my question is wht about chlid component ? that child component production order is still in MD04 .
so how it will consume . or have i made some mistake or tell me rt. scenerio.of (GR/GI)?

GR is done for Main order only and document also post for main order. This is standard SAP funcitionality.
Confirmation is carried out same as normal Production order,
If u do the confirmation for suborder in the collective structure - the automatic goodsmovements taken place between the production orders in collective structure.
Since suborder materail is directly produced , when confirm the "suborder", the produced qty will issued automatically to "superior order".
There is no seperate goods issue is needed for superior order in collective order structure.
After confirming the suborder, u can confirm the superior order, and make GR for finished product.
For above process "Collective order with goods movements" check box should be activated for Order type at OPJH

Production order confirmation detail problem

how can i get the production order confirmation detail by sending confirmation mumber alone?
in BAPI_PRODORDCONF_GETDETAIL, it need confirmation counter. but if i know confirmation number alone, how can i get the details? which BAPI shall i use to get the confirmation details by sending confirmation number alone?

Preview Default Print Setting "Fit to Page" Problem

Preview.app in Snow Leopard has removed the option to print without scaling, and recreating this behaviour with the remaining options is quite complex and requires 4 extra steps.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a document in Preview.app, such as a PDF, of a known paper size.
2. Select 'File' > 'Print…'
3. Change the paper size to one where the default scale value with the default 'Scale to Fit:' 'Print Entire Image' is not 100%. This step is often unnecessary, as many documents will require reduction to include margins, even if the paper sizes match.
4. Select 'Scale:'
5. Select the scale % value.
6. Delete the scale value.
7. Input '100' in the scale value box using the keyboard.
8. Press tab to avoid radar #7256827.
9. Click 'Print'
Expected Results:
Click on a single option to print at 100%, if by chance that wasn't the default option. This would have been one step.
Actual Results:
Does what it says. Steps 4 through 8 are necessary to print at 100% in most cases.
Regression:
This behaviour was as expected in OS X 10.5.x and previous versions, or we wouldn't be having this discussion.
Notes:
Printing at 100% is the only scaling that is common enough to warrant a button to make it an easy one to get to. Preview.app itself even has an 'Actual Size' toolbar button, but has removed this function for printing.
Graphic designers (and other professionals) or specific applications (such as printing on pre-cut or pre-printed paper, labels, or DVDs) can commonly require printing at 100%, and using PDF to distribute documents makes Preview.app the most logical choice for many printing jobs.
Having something other than 100% as a default can cause expensive media to be ruined by a mis-scaled printout, unless these 4 (+1) steps are followed every time.
Most other apps, including Safari, Mail.app and TextEdit default to no scaling, making Preview.app an exception.
I am an architect and this is really annoying!
Does anyone know a workaround?

Sorry no workaround as yet...
I too am now sick of the amount of expensive paper I have wasted due to the Preview app default print setting of 'Scale to fit'.
- No option to print at 100%, you have to manually input this information.
- No way to change this default in preferences, you can change the opening viewing size of a doc to 100% though.
- Doesn't remember the previous settings if you decide to reopen the doc and print another copy.
I also found that if I attempted to print an A4 doc with bleed and crop marks, it would set the default paper size to A4 and the annoying scale to fit would be set to 83%. If I then changed the scale by typing in 100% but don't hit enter for fear of the print starting and then simply use the drop down to change the paper to A3 and then change the orientation and then hit enter it ignores that you have changed the scale and prints your doc at 83% on A3 - Brilliant!
It's a shame to say that I will be going back to acrobat for pdfs!
If you can't put a 100% scale radio button on the print dialogue box either allow people to change the default in prefs or even better allow the presets to control paper size and scale of printing!

Print Production order Confirmation

Hi Gurus,
We have already configured OPK8 transaction for Confirmation slip. We added a sapscript form and the print program we have created but still there is no spool or print generated.
may i know if i have forget to set up some other configurations?

what you want to print?
The material list / Goods movements in confirmation?
OPK8 will not have any effect here.
Please use the customizing for material master printing! In standard PP no print happen in confirmation, only the goods movements are printed but this happen in MM modul so this customizing need to be used, see note 426554 for further details
Or do you want to print in Co02 data about the confirmation?
This need to be done in OPK8.
Maybe you can clarify the issue. Which list you want to print?

Hi,
1) Go to Tcode "OPK8"
2)Select LG02 "Op Control Ticket"
3) Double click on :List Control for Transactions" in the left hand menu tree
4) In front of ur desired t code "co02" make the changes ( Number of prints- u can increase) 6th column.
Try this.
