from trx ME9F when I click on "Trial printout" button, system doesn't send reminders/urging letters
but shows a popup for printers selection.
From where trx sending reminders/urging letters ?

in PO clicking on messages, message type NEU has green lights.
In ME91F the message has been created but system doesn't send the e-mail I set in vendor master.

Hello Guys,
I am running me91f to check and remind our vendor of expected delivery dates. The report runs properly according with the reminding days I have set up in Purchase Order and reference date I am using to run the report.
The only issue I am facing is that I do not want to see the POs which already have Inbound delivery, but the report still shows open PO with inbound delivery confirmation.
Does anyone know a way to limit this report for PO without any Inbound confirmation, this way I can follow up PO with missing confirmation.
My intention is to follow up with vendor just Pos that do not have Inbound delivery. If there is a way to also compare dates on the inbound delivery and PO expect delivery that would be helpful.

Now i created the PO with delivery date 29.05.11
i have released and took printout
then i went to ME91F, when i clicked on Execute button, system showed the PO doc
when i selected the check box and clicked on the messages and set the output type as MAHN
then i came back and i have selected the Generate messages button
Green color msg came Message Generated
How to see that msg?? and how to take the printout of it???

Urging letters error in ME91F

Dear Alll
I am facing isue while using transaction ME91F.
I have maintained Condition Records in MN04 for standard output type MAHN but still the condition records are not getting picked automatically.
If I click on generate message it says error message saying messages are not genarated.
If I then maintain message manually condion records then I am able to genrate the message?
Can anybody tell the raeson why conditin records are not getting picked in ME91F?

If you have specified reminder levels under the item details of a purchasing document, the system is able to generate reminders and urging letters (expediters) automatically.
You can enter up to three reminder levels. For example, the reminder levels 10-20-30 mean that urging letters are issued 10, 20, and 30 days after the due date for submission of a quotation or for the delivery of ordered goods. (Note: in the SAP System the term "reminders" is often used to denote such messages issued before the due date, whereas the term "urging letter" or "expediter" commonly stands for a perhaps more strongly worded admonitory message issued after the due date. However, this distinction is not consistent, and may not apply outside the SAP environment. The corresponding term for "urging letter" in the FI component is "dunning letter", and relates to overdue payments.)
A negative number means that a reminder is to be issued prior to the deadline for submission of quotations or the delivery date for ordered goods. For example, if you enter 5- as the reminder level, a reminder will be sent 5 days prior to the quotation submission date.
Prerequisites
The message determination facility has been set up in Customizing for Purchasing.
You can also work with the standard settings. For further information, see Tips for Fast Message Determination Set-Up in the Implementation Guide (IMG).
Message records must have been created through master data maintenance (Purchasing menu).
The purchasing document involved must have previously been transmitted to the vendor.

I totally agree. I just wasted .5 hrs trying to figure out how to manipulate and sync the reminders with the iCAl. Thanks for posting this thread online, I can stop wasting my time now. Apple, please change it back or make these apps sync.
Side note. I was creating my to do list and found the ability to asign a date by draging the task to the calendar in the bottom right. Then I discovered that I can drag that same reminder/to-do task into iCal and it will be created as an event. Would be great if I could simply sync the reminders to iCal instead of draging them over though. Then when I make the change in one the other can update with the next sync. This also prevents human error if I drag and drop the reminder onto the wrong date in iCal.

Print Row Numbers and Column Letters

How do you tell Numbers to print the Row numbers and Column letters? This was very simple in Appleworks (print dialog box had that option). Can't find it in Numbers though.

Here is a script doing all the job for us.
Just select one or several cells in a table and run the script.
It duplicates it, add an header row, an header column, insert the needed labels and fill the other cells with a formula grabbing the contents of the original table.

How can I print Reminders in iCal? I use an ipod touch and a Macbook. I can print the agenda (calendar) but not the reminders which I see in the right-hand column.

But i really wonder how you did that. did you always switch between design view and preview view, then change the key position for 2px then switch back, to align the four letters? because i imagine that can get really frustrating, if you have a logo consisting of 58 parts instead of 4!:)

How do I print Reminders from iCal?

I'm using the reminders on iCal to keep track of all my "to-do's". My problem is when I have a meeting, i just want to print them out and go through them one at a time without havung to stop, opem the reminder, discuss, close the reminder, move-on. I just want the printed list in hand.Unfortunatley, my laptop wo't print the list. It will just hover in "calculating lay-out" until I force quite becuase iCal is "not responding". Does anyone know how to print the to-do list. The help menu descriptioon of how to do it does not work. Thanks!

I do not think you can print reminders. There are default views for printing the calendar. You can print the screen if you do a screenshot [[How to make screenshots]]

Why do I have to turn off and on my HP office jet 7500A every time I want to print a page? I can print one and imediatly try to print a second and it says it cant be found on the network.

Since going up to Lion I am having problems with my HP Officejet 7500A printer. It is on the network wirrelessly. After every page I have to turn the printer off and back on again because my mac cant find the printer on the network. The windows mechines here can still find it, but not my Mac Pro. What is going on?
Obviously I have it set up right because I can print to it. problem is my mac thinks it goes off line every time I tell it to print another document.
Anyone know of a fix?

Lion may have replaced files that partially made up your printer drivers. Either way, HP saw fit to make a new set of drivers specifically for 10.7 so you may want to use it simply to avoid any bugs tehy found.

I tried the method where you go into single user mode and type in commands, however that method uses some of the letters that are not working on my laptop.

You didn't mention which version of OS X your running but there are password reset utilities provided OS X: Changing or resetting an account password (Snow Leopard and earlier) - Apple Support or OS X: Changing or resetting an account password - Apple Support
Alternately you can use an external keyboard to log in and change the password. Make a backup if you don't have one, it's likely that your problems aren't over. If that water continues to migrate downward and fries the logic board your macbook will be toast.

Print, Export and Page Navigation Buttons in the Report

When I view a report through CR4E, the generated report has 3 buttons namely Print, Export and Page Navigation buttons. But when I click on either of the buttons I get a 'null pointer exception'. This is a critical error as I am unable to navigate past the first page. Do I have to add code to these buttons? If not, why am I getting an error? Kindly solve my problem as soon as possible.

Looking at your code it appears that you are storing the ReportSource in session prior to passing in the ResultSet. This will create a problem when a postback is made on the viewer page (which all of the viewer actions do). If you look at the sample code which is generated when you use the JSP Page Wizard you will notice that the ResultSet is passed to the ReportClientDocument object prior to it being stored in session. Then, when the page is called again this object is retrieved and the ReportSource is used by the viewer. You can quickly run the test using one of our sample reports to see what I am talking about. Print Terms and conditions on Back side in Smart Forms

Hi All,
How can we print Terms and conditions on back side of last page. we are using SAP Smart Forms to print Packing Slips now we need to print the terms and conditions on back side of last page. who can we do this ... ?
I have created 2 pages first page and Last page i have selected last page as next page for First page and vice vis and selected duplex printing for first page print option.
Now the problem is the terms and conditions are printed on all the pages but not on the last page. for example if i have 5 pages then all the 4 pages are printed on front and back but the last page(5) is printed only on the front side but not on the back and if we print only 1 page then only front page is printed and no back side is printed.
please let me know what else need to be done in order to print the terms and conditions on the back side of last page.

Hi,
There is quite a simple solution. We have exactly the same requirements for our invoices.
Create 3 pages in the Smartforms, e.g. FRONT, BACK and LAST.
FRONT has print mode "D" (duplex) and next page "BACK"
BACK has print mode " " (unchanged) and next page "FRONT"
LAST has print mode " " (unchanged) and next page " " (blank)
BACK and LAST are identical apart from that, and do not have a MAIN window - they just contain the T&C in a secondary window.
At the very end of the MAIN window on the page FRONT, insert the command NEW PAGE <LAST>.
This will give you a print out that is
FRONT, BACK, FRONT, BACK,....FRONT, BACK, FRONT, LAST.
