Printing same photo multiple images per page

Using the new version how do you print the same picture 4x on one page?

Do the following:
1 - duplicate the photo so you have the number of photos that you want on a single page.
2 - select all of the duplicates and start the Print process.
3 - select the paper size.
4 - select the Custom layout
5 - select  the aspect ratio ratio you want to have or a custom aspect ratio.
6 - adjust the width and height until you get the number of images per page that you want.

  • Create a PDF with multiple images per page

So this seems really simple, but i cannot figure it out... i am creating a PDF from 30 JPGs and rather than having an image on each page in the PDF I would like to set it up so that there are 6 images per page... any thoughts .. thanks in advance
    cheers

Once you have the PDF with a single image per page, print it out to a new PDF with 6 pages per page.
Either that, or use an authoring application like Word or InDesign.

  • Trouble printing multiple pages, not multiple images per page

I have just upgraded to PS Elements 10 and am having a challenging time printing multiple pages of the same document (image).  These are labels that will be run, so we do 300 of the same image at a time, one per page (label).  From the open Elements .psd file I choose print and set the printer settings, and then choose the amount of labels to print.  No matter what number I put in for the Print X copies of each page, it still only prints one.  When I convert it over to the organizer it seems to work with printing multiple copies.  Having to move each file over especially if we are just wanting a quick test run is very time consuming and troublesome.  It seems like there should be a simple fix that I am missing in the Elements program.

    Hi,
Try following the steps below and check if that may help:
    - Open the HP software by clicking the HP ENVY 5530 icon within the Desktop or the Start Menu, then click the Printer Home Page (EWS) link.
    - Click the Network tab.
    - Depending on your printer model click on Networking and then on Network Address (IP) or click on IPv4 within the active network connection type.
    - Click on Manual IP , and then click Suggest a Manual IP Address . A manual IP address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway displays.
*Be sure to take a note of the IP address and Confirm the changes, then close the EWS page.
    - Click the HP ENVY 5530 icon within the Desktop or the Start Menu and click the Utilities tab, then click on Update IP Address.
    - Type the manually configured IP address, click on Save and confirm.
    - Open the control panel and go to Devices and Printers.
    - Right click the HP ENVY 5530 icon and select Printer Properties.
    - Open the Ports tab.
    - Click the Add Port button, select Standard TCP/IP and click on New Port.
    - Follow the steps by typing the manually configured IP address and confirm the changes.
Now try printing and check if the issue been resolved.

  • Printing multiple images per page

I'm sorry for this potentially stupid question, but how do I print multiple 4x6 images per 8.5x11 sheets - or in general, mulitple - defined size prints per page of whatever dimension. I have Aperture 1.1, iMac dual core, Epson 2200... I'll be back with many more stupid questions... bear with me!! T

Actually that's not a dumb question at all. Right now there's no way to say directly what size images you want on a page - you can only specify number of images on a page, and border sizes.
So what you do is figure out how many 4x6s can fit on your paper (2 on an 8.5x11.5 sheet of paper) and then figure out what border you need to get your images to be about the right size. In the case of 8.5x11.5, it's a border of about 0.75 in (perhaps a little more or less depending on the native border your printer has for a sheet of paper).
I think different orientations might screw that system up, so be aware of that and perhaps only print like orientations together.
If you are doing individual borderless prints of any size, do not overlook the handy "calibrate" button which prints out a test target to fine-tune exactly where the edges are in borderless prints!

  • Can see only one photo per page. How to revert to multiple images per page?

First noticed on my iMac and now on my Macbook (10.4.9)--I'm no longer seeing a month's worth of photos on a single page. Only one photo per page, sometimes with miniature ones in the top border. I thought it was simply an inadvertent click on by part and easily corrected. But all attempts on both computers and reading of Help index haven't led to restoration of an entire page of photos and elimination of the annoyance. I'm wondering now if something I downloaded might have altered iPhoto program itself, making it impossible to view large numbers of photos at the same time. Any suggestions appreciated.
    Cap

    Cap,
This view, with the one photo big and the thumbnail strip across the top, is what happens when you double-click a photo with "Edit in: Main Window" set in the Preferences. There should be a button visible that says either Done or Return, to exit edit mode and return you to the library. If you still see only one photo, use the size slider in the lower right corner to reduce the photo size and get more thumbnails on the page.
If, for some reason, you can't exit the edit mode, you may have a corrupt preference file. Quit iPhoto. Use the Finder to navigate to Macintosh HD/ Users/ (your user name)/ Library/ Preferences/ com.apple.iPhoto.plist and move that file to the Trash. Launch iPhoto, and you should be returned to the main viewing mode. You'll have to go in the Preferences and reset them to your liking.
    Regards.

  • Printing same photo multiple times on one contact sheet

I am trying to figure out how to make multiple copies of one photograph when I select it for printing on my personal computer. What can I do instead of making multiple copies of the photo in order to make it print more than once on the page? Let me know if you need further information to help me!

  • Multiple images per page

We use Qimage to produce, for example 2 7"x5" images on an A4 page. This doesn't seem to be possible in Aperture or have I missed something ???

I had asked a similar question a few days back, and here's a link to that thread. There may be some short term workarounds, but there are quite a few folks who really want to see a "Qimage" type function added to the print module in Aperture (and Lightroom for that matter!).

  • Using iPhoto, I am unable to print same photo (4x6) twice on a single page.

Downloaded photos from iPhone to my MacBook Pro. I wanted to get duplicates of the photos printed but there doesn't appear to be an option to print the same photo more than once on a page. Since I had multiple photos I was able to get around the problem by selecting 2 different photos and printing 2 separate pages (i.e. 1 each on each page), but I was printing 4x6 photos so I should be able to print same photo twice on a page.
Any help or assistance is greatly appreciated.

Yes - when you duplicate a photo you have to delete it when you no longer want it
Yes - Windows and OS X have many differences - as do iPhoto and other programs - pretty much safe to say that every program is unique and has its own learning curve
You are welcome - post back as you have questions

  • Can't print a photo multiple times on a single page

I just installed iLife 8 and am trying to print one 3X5 photo multiple times on a single page. When I consulted the help menu in iPhoto, I found what I thought was the answer. When I followed the instructions, I hit a snag because I don't have the Photos Per Page pop-up menu it references. Any ideas on how I can do this to save paper?
Here's what the help menu said:
Printing one photo multiple times on a single page
If you have a favorite photo you want to share with many people, you can print multiple copies of that photo on a single page.
To print one photo multiple times on a single page
Select the photo you want to print.
    Click the Print button.
Select the paper size (such as letter-size or legal-size).
    Select the print size (such as 2 x 3 or 4 x 6).
If you want to make the photo a custom size, select Custom.
    Click the Customize button.
    Click the Settings button.
Select “Multiple of the same photo per page” from the Photos Per Page pop-up menu.
iPhoto will zoom and crop the photo to fit the space available. To make a photo appear full-frame, Control-click the photo and choose “Fit Photo to Frame Size” from the menu that appears.
    Click OK.
    Click Print.

Well don't I feel stupid! I just installed iLife '08 and assumed that it would tell me right away if I needed any updates. I found and installed the needed updates (7.1.1), I got the right settings drop down menu to print multiples on one page. Thanks for your help

  • To print one photo multiple times on a single page

The title of my question is the title of the page in iPhoto 8 help.
"To print one photo multiple times on a single page"
It says (a bit shortened) 1. Select photo 2. Click print button 3. Select paper size 4. Select print size 5 Click Customize button 6 Click Settings button 7. Select "Multiple of same photo per page from the Photos Per Page pop-up menu. 8 Click OK 9 Click Print.
I can not find the pop-up menu referred to in Step 7. There are two "settings" buttons - neither produce a Photos Per Page pop-up menu. Settings appears if you click a double arrow to the right in the lower margin but only deals with font issues and "Print Settings" does not offer such a pop-up.
I am using Leopard on a PowerBook G4 and just bought and installed the newest iLife 8.
    Grateful for help.

    Arthur:
When you click on the Customize button there will be a Setting button in the next window. Click on it and in the drop down window that comes up will be the option to print multiple photos of the same photo per page.
Select that option and click OK. You'll get the spinning cursor for a few seconds as iPhoto creates the multiple copies on the page you selected. Be sure that the print size is small enough so that you can have multiple copies of it on the paper size you selected.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • Printing multiple slides per page for pdf

Hey guys. I just downloaded 10.10.1 and I'm unable to print multiple slides per page for my pdf files. Usually before I print, I can choose an option if I want to have 4 or 6 slides per page printed (as this helps to save paper and is how I have my notes for school). But now, it says "copies per page" instead of "slides per page". So the print preview shows the same 1 slide printed 6 times on each paper, instead of 6 different slides on 1 paper (which what is what I was able to do before I downloaded Yosemite).
Does anyone know how to print multiple slides per page for pdf files???

Did you try the Layout panel? Page per sheet?

  • How to print multiple sheets per page?

Please advise how, if it is possible, to print multiple sheets per page with Acrobat 7.0 Pro.<br /><br />I have a PDF that's about 24" x 60". I'd like to make a "poor man's poster" by printing on several pages and taping them together -- sort of like Microsoft's "Fit to <x pages> tall by <y pages> wide" feature. Can this be done with Acrobat 7.0 Pro?<br /><br />Thanks.<br /><br />-Kurt

That is typically a function of the print driver for Acrobat. One way to do it is to print to a new PDF and select the printer properties and select multi-up. Bill

  • Data Merge Multiple Records Per Page Greyed Out

I am using InDesign cs5.5. I am attempting to create a catalog with the data merge option. I am attempting to do a data merge from the Master Page.
As you can see in the image, I have inserted my fields from the data source file. All images, original file, and data source file are in the same folder. I am inserting this info on the left sheet of the master file. When I select "Create Merged Document" the "select multiple records per page" is greyed out, however, there is plenty of room on the page for the 8 records I want it to show. See image below.
After watching tutorials, reading, etc. I made sure that my document does not have facing pages. I deleted my "page 2" to avoid that conflict. I made sure that the placeholder "allows overwrite from the master". I also deleted my "cache"/settings" by doing "ctrl, alt, shift" when reopening the program. I read that it may be because the files need to be on the right hand sheet of the master, however, when I move my info to the right sheet, I get the following message.
I have watched the tutorial videos, read the entire help section regarding data merge, and have correctly created my data source file. I've tried everything I've seen on the forums, apart from uninstalling and reinstalling. Please tell me that someone can help me figure this out as soon as possible. I'm in crunch time!
    Thanks a lot.

Thanks Peter. That helped me un-grey the multiple records. I was able to complete a data merge, however, this is what happens.
As you can see in this image, I have the margins setup the way I prefer, and the data merge previews correctly.
Once I click to merge, this is the new document I get - it's only putting one record per page (even though the multiple records per page is selected), and it inserts this layout, not onto actual pages in indesign. It looks reall odd.
    And when you scroll down,
    Any suggestions on fixing this?
Also, my InDesign freezes up when I try and do a merge of my entire sheet (182 items). The images above are when I tested doing just records 1-32.
Thanks in advance and thanks for being so prompt yesterday. Very helpful.
