Printing Second Page Issue

Dear all,
I have set the print default for a user to print two copies of AR invoice. When the print comes out, the first page is printed as original and second page as a copy which is fine. Unfortunately the second page is printed in a weird way. The text boxes which are shown in the Print Layout Designer are also printed
Any solution on that

Hello friend,
In the windows under output options tab there is an option for setting the left margin and upper margin. Just reduce the upper margin and see whether you are getting any difference in output.

Print Second page in SAP script

Hi ,
I want to print second page in my sapscript.first page has Header,MAIN,footer windows. Second page has only one window where i need to print some terms and conditions those are hard coded in script.
Could you please let me know how i can print second page after first page?

Create a new page as second page....
Assign the second page as the next page to the first page... select print only when main window finishes...
It will automatically print the second page...

Issue in printing second page in smart form

in my smart form i have only FIRST page in tht i have pur order numberwindow, date window and all the item details in mainwindow. my problem is in my page 1 order number and date are getting printed at the exact position whre i want but when it is coming to the next page that is page 2 order number and date are going out of scope. I cant even change the position of those two windows as it is getting printed properly on 1st page.

Copy the first page and paste so as to create a second page, now give next page as this second page, and check, if there is any layout issue then make changes in this page, be careful as if you make any any changes, such as deleting some table or template or window in the copied [page it will get deleted in first page to, so only make changes to layout.

If the text doesn't fit in page, the it will be printed in the next page.
If it is one line or two line by increasing the length of the window, you can accomodate.But if it more than than then its not possible to print in the same page.
If you dont want to get the text truncated then just use PROTECT and ENDPROTECT command in order to protect the text.
Then the whole text will be printed either in First Page or Second page depending on the amout of text.

Duplex Printing - Odd Page Issue

I'm using the following logic to avoid printing subsequent form's details on previous one, it seems to work fine in most of the cases but for some of the data input the logic is not working, I've placed some debug statements and found out that at the time of layout ready event pageCount%2 == 0 is yielding an even number so the logic is going into else block but when the form is rendered finally I'm not getting the total page count as even. I'm not sure asto why there is a mismatch between pagecount at the layOut ready event. Have any of you guys run into the same issue? I appreciate any suggestions.

Printer model hp laser jet p3005dn always prints second page in landscape format.

Printer prints even page in landscape format only. Even if in program (say msword) the page is in portrait format.

The instructions (from your link) say you have to connect USB, how do you connect it now ? HP does not supply driver but Windows 8 & 8.1 MAY have generic/basic driver for it. The link also says you have to use Windows update. Amazing to see a 15-20years old printer is still up and running, only the Operating system kills it.

Booklets prints second page upside-down

Good morning,
I find it quite impossible that nobody can answer if not solve this problem.
Certainly I make some mistake but please do tell me where.
This is driving me mad. Sorry. Following I put again the problem I posted few days ago:
facts: iMac27, OSX 10.8.3, Adobe Acrobat Pro 10.1.6, pdf generated from inDesign. Printer Xerox WorkCentre 7425
I select print booklets, page 1 to 4, paper size A3 landscape, print front/back, binding left.
When I print, the first page is OK, the back page is upsidedown.
I have already tried all the possible setups but I get the same result.

InDesign prints second page 90 degrees to first

I'm trying to to print a two sided landscape oriented project to a Canon Image Runner. one side prints just fine. The second side prints 90 degrees to the first side. Any ideas for what's going on?

There is probably a setting for your printer, look under printer features> Duplex> Open to Left or Open to Top. You probably want open to Top.
In InDesign, you can rotate the view of a page, but it will print normal (un-rotated), this could also be your problem. Go to the Pages panel fly-out menu and select Page attributes to change the view rotation.
You could also export to PDF, then print.

How to prevent printing empty second page?

Hi,
When the report is printed from the web it is printing a second page which is empty.
Report is a rdf report, when previewed in reports builder it is only one page.
Is there any setting in the report properties to avoind printing second page?

While Printing on Second Page the Space for Header is not considered

Dear All
we are using LIPI Line Printer and First page is Printed Correctly but at the time of Printing second page (for another invoice or same invoice second copy) the Space for invoice Header is over written by the Content of the smart form.
In smartform that space for the Invoice Header is left blank.
Please Suggest how to remove the Problem.

How to print main window data in second page without header

hi friends.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I am printing billing docu details in main window ,the data is coming in two pages but there is problem in printing as the tables is continuing in second page the line is not coming for the table for first row,space is also coming for second page for header .
my issue is to remove space before printing table and line should come for the table for 1st row in second page.
please help .

1. For the line not coming on the top row of the second page, check if the rowtype u have used in the table has been given a border on the upper side.
2.For the space issue in the second page, I assume you might have used only a single Page in your smartform and the same page is called again.Hence as per the main window size and length data will be displayed in all pages of the smartform.
You may need to create a second page with the Main window length occupying the compete page so that data display starts from the top of the page. next Page attributes of the smartforms should be entered accordingly.

Problem in Continuous check printing from second page in F-58

Hi ,
I am using T code F-58 to trigger cheques. I have made a Z* of the standard script F110_PRENUM_CHCK as I just require the Payee name, date, amount in digits and amount in words to be printed on the cheque.I am using the continuous stationary for the cheque . I am using EPSONLQ1150II DOT Matrix printer.
The cheque dimensions are ; width:202 MM and Height 94 MM excluding the dots on either side.
I have created a z page format with the same dimensions ,
also created format type with same name and for device type SWIN - Windows printing via SAPlpd
z format is linked.
Also in local system , i defined z page dimensions in server properties
and selected printing preferences as this z page size .
Issue :
When i am trying to take print , check is printing properly in first page for spool 1 .
If again when trying to print 2nd spool , check is not printing properly in second page check.
It is printing 2mm down , for 3 rd page further printing downwards.
As this is pre printed stationary data is not lying correctly from 2 nd page onwards.
kindly give me any suggestions how to rectify this.

In SWIN - Windows printing via SAPlpd device type , for DINA4
Printer initialization : # no action.
End of page is having \f
End of line is having \n
Reset after exit is having # sapwin x_paper
Cover page is : # no title page
all are in green.
Same thing i included for MY z page format . But still it is printing same as mentioned above.
Kindly suggest how to write initialization for z page format for SWIN device type.

Print Preview of particular page issue in SAP script

Hi all,
Kindly help me to resolve the following issue in SAPscript.
I have a particular business requirement to preview a particular page in 'n' pages of a SAPscript. After executing the sapscript calling program, the print window appears, in which i can choose particular page in the <b>Page Selection</b> Field.
The problem is that the preview shows some other page rather than the appropriate page. Please help me to resolve the issue.

You need to call NEW-PAGE command in the sapscript when the user select a page in page selection.
Try this:
create the following text element in the sapscript in any window, preferibly MAIN window
/E PBREAK
/: NEW-PAGE &user_selected_page&
In the Print program: OPEN_FORM returns a parameter called RESULT.
case result-tdpageslct.
when '2'.
user_selected_page = <second page name in the sapscript>
when '3'.
user_selected_page = <third page name in the sapscript>
when others.
clear user_selected_page.
endcase.
if not user_selected_page is initial.
call function WRITE_FORM and call above created text element
endif.
If the pages you are trying to display does not have main window, make sure next page in the page definition is not the same page in the sapscript.

After deleting FF preference file, Footers are now located higher on all printed pages, causing some one-page emails to extend to a second page.

I upgraded my Mac OS to 10.6.8 to see if that would solve some of my FF hanging issues. It did not. So I decided to try deleting the preferences file as suggested in the Troubleshooting section to see if that would help. Unfortunately after deleting the prefs.js file per the instructions, on all my printed pages the Footers are now located significantly higher on the page than they used to be. They are located about 3/4" up from the bottom of the page, whereas before they were always located about 1/4" up from the bottom of the page. (Thankfully, the headers are in the same spot as before, 1/4" down from the top of the page.)
I don't understand how this happened to the footer placement in deleting the preferences. The placement/location of the headers and footers is not something that the user can adjust in FF Preferences or in the Printing window as a preference. Only the content of the headers and footers can be modified in the Printing window.
I am stumped as to how this occurred. Is there a way to restore the footer placement back closer to the bottom of the page? The higher location of the footer is causing many of my lengthier one-page emails to have to extend onto a second page which is a waste of paper and file space.

Try resetting the Page Margins to what you were using before deleting the prefs file.
