printing(print preview of the smartform) the arabic data in reverse arabic alphabetical order in both sap english and arabic logons when i gave the text data n also the arabic data which i extracted from sap tables, ok i agree with sap english logon the arabic text will reversely act in the print preview but in arabic logon also same so plz help it this issue as soon as.

Yes the printer output device is ARSWIN only n i tried with SWINCF also but see for a window i'm creating text ok in that text i'm writing the arabic data it is clear, but in the print preview of a smartform i'm getting the arabic reverse letters of my text starting from left as we write in english, so it has to be start the arabic letters from right side know, but it is not happening, so help me what can i do now.

At the time of printing the Billing document it is taking another date otherthan 10.10.2008,where it should be 10.10.2008.
What modifications should i do to rectify the problem.

Ask your ABAPer do debug and find out what date (Table-Field) is used in the Invoice Output program. You will know the reason and if you think that the date being used is incorrect, you can ask your ABAPer to change it to VBRK-FKDAT which is the billing date.

I am having a problem in my ADF/JSF page. I just want to print the form data of my form instead of the whole page.using javascript:print() method prints the whole page.so can you help me in solving this issue. I have JDev 10.1.3 and do not want to upgrade to JDev 11g!
Is there some java code to do so?

you can apply CSS to the page and use the media selector to deermine which components should appear in the print and which should not.

I need to print the invoice date and the item description and also the due date of the invoice in an outgoing payment in PLD.
I think this can be done through wring a query in UDF through the formatted search.
Could anyone help me with an alternate solution or a step by step procedure for writing the query.

How to get sqlplus to print the current date/time

From a unix command line I can type:
prompt> date; <any_Cmd>; date
This will result in a timestamp being output before and after the command you inserted. Is there a way to make sqlplus print the current date/time after it is done executing an sql statment. This would be useful for me to know how long it took to execute and sql statement without watching it.
Something like:

Correct any Disk problems.
Repair Permissions.
Clear out Cache Files.
Repair/check several plist files.

First reboot will be slower, sometimes 2 or 3 restarts will be required for full benefit... my guess is files relying upon other files relying upon other files! :-)

It seems like a pretty simple thing, but I don't see it any where. Am I missing something?

Yes, people I work with use it, assistants fill the fields out for me. As far as I know there is no "Print Browser" option. Some folks have assistants copy and paste the info into text, csv or xml files. Since everthing has gone to meta tags, this approach is going the way of the electric spoon or feeding mayonnaise to Tuna.

Do anyone know how to get received date of an email?I am using POP3 server.So while printing the date using getReceivedDate(), getting null pointer exception....So how to get the date?...Anyone know this using headers or something?I want a sample program in mail api of java....

There is no logic inside the getReceivedDate() method.It's a pre-defined method i have used.I read somewhere that POP3 server won't give information about date.So it is returning NPE.And there it was suggested to use Received headers or something to get the date of a particular email.I am new to the mail api.So anyone know how to use those Received Headers to read the date of an email?

Printing Table data: How to print the row data in 'Western Text' ?

Hi,
Scenario:
I have a table containing, say 5 records. The table is placed in a sub form (Properties: Content - Flowed, Flow direction - Western Text) which is adjusted in a manner to occupy only half of the page (vertically).
I need the records to be printed adjacent to each other i.e. after printing the first row of the table , the next record should be placed in the other half of the page and so on.
Issue:
The problem is that even though I have set the property (flow direction) to Western text, the data is printed one below the other as in the Top to bottom property.
Am I missing something?
Kindly advice how to resolve this issue.

I am trying to display the records of a table. I used sub forms to behave like table and body row.
The body row sub form occupies left half the page (to make it clear, say you divide the page vertically). The other half (i.e. right half ) is blank. I have checked the box to repeat itself for each data item.
Now after printing the first record on the left hand side, I want the second record to be printed on the right hand side and if there is a 3rd record in the table, it should be printed just below the 1st record.
Please do let me know if still the issue is not clear.

   I have the requirement to get the archived output document and to print the document to sap printer ( it may not connected to the local pc) .
i got the PDF file from the archived document by FM 'ARCHIV_GET_CONNECTIONS' and got the PDF data by FM 'SCMS_AO_TABLE_GET' , and converted this raw data output to PDF Document and i am sending this document through mail by BCS class and it is working fine .
but i have the new requiremnet to print the   PDF document through SAP printer ,

How to print the contents(data) of an Applet

My problem:
I have an html page that is split up into several frames. One of these frames is actually an applet that has a table of data that I retrieve from a database. I want to be able to print out ALL of the data from the applet. I added a button to one of the frames(not the Applet frame) to print. For the button.onClick event, I created a function called "print". That function's code right now is Applet.print(Graphics), but when I try to click the button I get a Runtime Error that says "'Applet' is undefined". Am I even close to getting this working?? How would I define the 'Applet' in the frame that I have the Print button in?

I have problem retrieving data from the database by an applet that needs new data in one second interval. The communication between the applet and the database is too diffucult for me.
All I have is just two files, one is the applet DrawMe.java and the other is MyData.java to communicate with the database. If I need to communicate with the database from the applet, where I have to put my code like InputBuffer and OutputBuffer, is the run() method of the applet the right place for it? ... do you have a code bit to illustrate that for me?
