Printing the "country" field on envelopes

I noticed that there is a setting to print the "country: field, but then another setting called "except my country". What is this supposed to do?
The reason I ask is that this option always hides this field, regardless of whether it is my country (United Kingdom) or Germany, or United States or whatever.
Is there somehwere I should set my own country so that Address Book knows which country I live in? My own entry in the Address Book already has this, but perehaps there's somewhere else?

I think I have got it working the way it is obviously intended to. It doesn't matter what you have on your "me" card, Address Book assumes that "my country" is the one selected in Preferences/General/Address Format. After that, it doesn't matter what you have in the country field of a contact, it will decide if they are in "my country" based on the address format selected for their card. You can change this in edit mode by clicking the type (home, work etc) label of the address field.

Can I extract VBAP-EAN11 based on the country Field ?

Is there a way I can extract VBAP-EAN11 from a different field dependent on the country KNA1-LAND1 or any other table where I should be able to extract EAN11 based on the country.
Please suggest, if i can extract the data with this condition or any possible conditions with which i can extract VABP-EAN11 dependent on the country field....

This should work, however, using your sample data:

How to default 'IN' India in the 'Country' field, for R/3 as well as ESS?

Add the country field in the main details tab of the CRMD_BUS2000126

Hi Experts,
I have the following business scenario : Need to display the country field in the Details tab of the PCUI activity application which normally appears under the Location tab of the application.
This is what I have done uptil now:
1) Added the country field in the screenstructure CRMT_BSP_ACT_DETAILS
2) Added the field in the field group ACT_OVERVIEW
3) Regenerated the field group
Problem is that the field still does not show under the details tab.
For your information :
   1) All the tabs including the Location tab ( only excluding the Details tab ) have been hidden from display.
   2) In the debug mode , I could see that the READ method of the class CL_CRM_BSP_IL gets the screenstructure CRMT_BSP_ACT_DETAILS with the country field added correctly , so I guess this is not a interaction layer / application issue. But after that the field gets lost in the framework layer.
Any expert suggesion for the steps as well as the likely solution is appreciated.

       As you said that in Devbug you can see that filed is added to your structure perfectly bit its not visible on your screen !!! Correct !!!!
        For this 1st check for standard screen varint is set for that screen or not.
    and try to tick ur new filed as visible in STD screen varints for that screen..
i am sure that it will get done after using varint.

Why won't Contacts print the "company" field?

When trying to print a list from Contacts, it won't include the Company. I am using Mavericks 10.9.1. This problem doesn't exist on my old iMac with OS 10.6.8. Contacts on the Cloud will let me print the company field.

Same problem here.
The printable lists from Contacts exclude the Company name. The photo also sometimes excludes, sometimes does not. Same with Nickname, and some other fields.
Yes, I check off the items in the Attributes selection when printing the list. The information is also excluded when choosing "Export as PDF..."
If I export the contact as a VCF, the information is exported. Re-importing it does not help, though.

Avoid printing the Country name in the SAP Script

I am printing the address of the ship to customer in SAP script using ADDRESS and ENDADDRESS. The address is formatting based on the country code that I am passing in the COUNTRY parameter. Everything looks fine. But here my requirement is It has to display the address according to COUNTRY parameter and it should display all the part of the address except country name.
I am using the following syntax

Please advise me how to avoid the country name alone from printing in the address.

Since it's only one script, you can always do it without command address, like this:

* &IT_SOLDTO_ADDRS-STRAS&
* &IT_SOLDTO_ADDRS-ORT01& &IT_SOLDTO_ADDRS-ORT02&
* &IT_SOLDTO_ADDRS-PSTLZ&
If a field is not formatted as your needs, you can always convert it yourself, it's not that hard (in driver program or create a PERFORM in script).

Print just what is typed in the text field without printing the text fields

I'm trying to print a form after I filled in the text fields, but would like it to print just what I typed in the field, not the text field and the color in the text field. I use CS3.

Hello Teddy and wellcome to the group!
If you want to change fonts or other things then you might need to use the PrePrint method. What I normally do is select PrePrint from the "Show" section in the Script Editor (If you do not have it go to the toolbar at the top, Windows, and select Script Editor). After you select PrePrint you can now either type the name of the subform and field you want to change (or you can put your cursor in the Scripting Dialog box, hold CTRL and then select the field with your mouse) and then type in the JS to change the font. it is something like TextField1.fillcolor = "255, 255, 255"; (that changes the background fill to white). You can also replace fillcolor with font or border to change the color of the font or the border. I put a link to an Adobe website that goes over JS color changes below. You just need to add a PrePrint method for each field that you wish to remove the necessary highlighting on. Then once the user either hits a Print button that you have on the form or uses CTRL+P to print the form it will remove any highlighting.
Now On the Text Field not printing itself that I am not sure what you are asking for. Are you asking for the caption not to print or for there not to be a box around the data that is entered? If you do not want to have a box surround the text field that is in the Object section of the field (see image below). You just need to select None if you just want the text. If you want to change that with JS I put another link below that has the code to change the border color to white and the user cannot see it. If you do not want the caption to print the only method is to delete the caption from the text field and replace it with static text that can be hidden, but I am assuming that is not what you are talking about (correct me if I am wrong though).

Has anyone figured out how to configure Address Book so that the country field can be printed on envelopes or labels? Haven't found any pref or setting to get it to show up on those items.

How to get the Country Name details always in Eng while using the SForms

I have a requirement as under:
the Smartform has to display the COUNTRY NAME - always and it should be printed in ENGLISH only.
The Smartform is having a Alternative option(for printing the Address) and for YES part(for certain countries) - the fm "ADDRESS_INTO_PRINTFORM" is being used and for the NO(for the rest of the countries) part an ADDRESS TEMPLATE is being used....
The issues are:
- the fm 'ADDRESS.......FORM" is printing the COUNTRY Name for certain cases and for the rest it is not...
- the Address template has no option to do any manipulation on the COUNTRY Name to come
how can have the COUNTRY NAME to appear in both the cases(YES part and NO part) printed in ENGLISH always?
I tried for a USEREXIT "EXIT_SAPLSADR_900" but still not able to tweak it and get the COUNTRY NAME always in ENGLISH.
Kindly provide your valuable inputs.
