Printing Two-Up with Cover page

Hi,
I would like to print a document two-up with a cover page, so that all the pages make sense. Is there a way to do it in Acrobat 9? I've tried the various options under Page Handling but they aren't what I want. Any suggestions?

If you are doing a lot of this you might try investing in a Page
Imposition plug-in like Quite Imposing - see quite.com

How to print two sides with one page?

I have a PDF that is one page long and I'd like to print the same thing twice (front and back) on one page. Can I do that?
I've tried printing two copies with the printer set to double-sided, but it just printed two sheets with one side on each sheet.

Well sure; Go back to the authoring application that created the documents and do a 2-UP page. Make the existingg page large enough to accomodate the extra content. Is that what you're asking or do you really mean print to a printer with a back up ? In that case just flip the page over and print page 2 on the other side.
Or are we missing something ?

I have a win 7 and a win 8.1 computer. I have a file which contains both landscape and portrait pages. The file prints correctly with the mixed orientation from the win 7 pc, but will only print with either landscape or portrait on the win 8.1 pc.
I am using Adobe reader XI on the win 7 pc and adobe touch on the win 8.1 pc

HP L7780 Printing - Two-sided and Multiple pages

The HP L7780 printer is capable of printing two-sided pages and multiple pages per page (e.g. two-up on a single sheet). This works just fine with my WIndows XP systems, but not with my BRAND NEW Pro! I've installed the latest drivers from HP ... any help here?

Smartform - HCM - Print two paychecks/remuneration by page

Hi.
SAP ECC 6.0.
I need to develop a Zsmartform to print two documents (front/back) per page (landscape). The client needs it in SAP because they already have the same functionality in legacy system and want it same way in SAP.
I thought to solve it by creating a smartform with two pages (one to print front and other to print back) in landscape.
To the first (front/landscape) page, creating two equal windows (side by side) with same size and structures type. To do this, I use a rotine/form (inside smartform windows) to read exact employee data to each window, but program calls smartform sending two employee data using the same mixed in the strutcture.
E.g.:
PAGE1: Employee1 and Employee2 front.
PAGE2: Employee1 and Employee2 back (each back match with its correct employee).
I guess it's quite complex, but is it possible ?

Hi Glauco,
Kindly set the print mode = d(duplex printing). the overflow data from 1st page will flow to next page, i.e. back page.
Hope this info is sufficient to solve ur issue.

we want to print two voucher in one paper. what are the steps to be taken in sapscript? is it purely relted to SPAD?

hi joseph,
i'm not sure how related this would be to your concern, but in my place, we've implemented that by sizing a voucher as half a page, so that when we print vouchers, the printer would know that one page is half of a regular page. SPAD is one place to fix, but the actual printing program and SAPScript was also customized so that it would send two vouchers for printing consecutively, and would fit in one page.

Which product do I purchase???? - Creating a merged PDF report from excel with cover page

Hi Guys,
I work in the BI field and have created a pdf document using PDFCreator and another third part scripting tool called jpdfbookmarks.
We have delivered something to the client but the quality of the output ( not the best) and the time it takes to cycle through each page ( when being viewed) within the merged
pdf document takes a little time...
So my boss as asked me to explore something within the Adobe suite of products BUT.... i have no idea which one i should choose.
My requirements are as follows:
To deliever this report to the client the program needs to be able to do the following:
1) convert excel files to pdf
2) take these individually created converted excel to pdf converted files and and merge them into 1 document
3) within this merged document have the abilty to be able to bookmark each page
4) have a cover page with hyperlinks
5) and finally but most important of all to be able perform steps 1 to 4 above programatically through scripting language vb script / vba
nice to haves:
6) abilty to email each merged doc to list of email address
7) abilty to edit document to add in hyperlinks etc
Need to get an understanding of costs ie
1) how much per licence
2) what product with have all the features above and how much
Can anyone please be kind enough to point me in the right direction as to what product would be best suited?? Being able
to scipt a solution together is key.

You can do everything except the cover page with Adobe Acrobat (Standard or Pro). There are demos on our website that you can install and try out. You will need the SDK documentation and sample code to learn how to automate/program.

How to Print two layouts into one page

Hi,
I have developed a report by blocked ALV.In this report i have created two blocks.
But when i give print out the two blocks are not printing continuously.It is displaying one block in one page and another block in anther page.
And i need page number at end of each page.
Please provide me solution for this.

How can I print two-sided with Mountain Lion and an Epson WF-2540?

I just purchased an Epson WF-2540 printer with two-sided printing capabilities. The manual includes easy to follow instructions on doing this with a PC. However, it doesn't seem to be present in OSX Mountain Lion (10.8.4). I have looked all over for the answer, but nothing helps with this specific problem. It seems like, before Mountain Lion, there was a simple check-box within system preferences>print and fax>options and supplies>drivers that said "duplexer." Now, that option is not present. I would love to be able to use this function on my new printer. Thanks for all of your help!

The Epson WF-2540 does not appear to be a two-sided printer!

The following is extracted from that article:
There is no reference anywhere in what I've shown or the rest of the article to two-sided printing.
Compare that to my Epson Workforce 645, which is a two sided printer. Here's what it says in the Epson writeup:

When I have a document with two columns in indesign CS5.5 and footnotes page. If there's a note in the first column, the paragraph that begins in the second column is not correctly tag. This is shown with an automatic tag <P>, and with this symbol "¶"

My page is not a part of a task flow. The whole app is an Admin app comprising of multiple individual pages navigated using Menu.
I have tried to run this page individually on my local machine as well as when deployed on the WLS server. The behavior is the same.

Printing two photos onto a page etc.

I have just been trying to print photos using iPhoto. You use to be able to choose how many photos you printed to a page (e.g. n-up mode) but now I can only find an option for 1 photo a page or a contact sheet.Anyone know how to change the number of photos you can print on a page?

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

Printing Photo Book with 101+ Pages

Sorry if this has been previously posted, but I could not find anything on this topic. Does anyone know of an online service that will print a photo book with more than 100 pages? I have a photo book I have created in PS6 to commemorate my parents trip to Europe for their 50th anniversary. All that time and effort and then I find out Kodak will only print up to 80 pages! I would really appreciate any suggestions on this!

Thanks Trish. My book is actually 140 pages & viovio only goes to 120. At this point, guess I will look at deleting 20 pages (tough!) and using them. They seem to be the best option so far!

How do I print a spread with multiple page sizes?

Hello fellow designers!!!!
I'm trying to make a production dummy by printing double sided. My document has an extra fold on the outer edge (see attached image).
I want to print 'D11-D12' as one spread with the reverse side as 'D13-12', so that I can simply fold in the outer edge and spiral bind the spine.
When I input the range 'D11-D12, D13-12' the printer prints 'D11' on one side and 'D12' on the reverse same with 'D13' and '12'.
How do I get this spread happening the way I want? I'd appreciate any help I can get as time is mot my friend on this one!

Sandee, I think you're onto something here. I've managed to separate the spreads from the spine as you suggested, however, I'm still getting the same result. The preview in the print dialogue is exactly what I want, yet the printout itself still print 'D11' on the back of 'D12'. I'm under a mountain of failed printouts! In the end I gave up and just taped the extra fold to the dummy manually.
I'd love to figure this out though for future use, so any more input would be divine!

I can't print two-sided with my macbook air. i've tried to look for the driver in the settings of printer and faxes but there is none, my printer is able to print for that kind of option. please help

When you select print you should see a menu option labeled Printer Settings (or Printer Options). This may be hidden in 2 different ways. First, the program may have minimized the print dialog box. Look for a button labeled Show Details. If you see it you'll need to click on the button to see all the printer options that are available. Having done this you'll see more options. Typically you'd look for the Printer Settings under a popup menu labeled Layout but sometimes something else is showing. For example, below you'll see that Safari hides it under Safari.

My Laserjet 4000T prints fine, one copy a time, duplex, whatever. When I put in a number for multiple copies, it prints only one copy, period. I am using drive PCL5.
