Printing wallet sized photo sheet

I don't seem to be able to figure out how to print a sheet of wallet sized photos!  Every website that I have found refers to iPhoto 11 but includes screen shots of the printing options that are not available in the version that I am running (9.5.1).  I'm at a total loss!  Any suggestions?  I've attached a screen shot of my print options page.

Yes, I have also selected 2x3 in the print window. That is where the problem is occurring. If i leave it as standard 8x10 then I get the entire image in the photo print area. When I select anything smaller, then instead of sizing the entire image down to the new dimensions it basically just grabs that area from the larger picture and effectively zooms in on it. So instead of my daughter's entire head, i just get her nose and eye in the 2x3 image.

  • Can I print wallet sized photo's in iPhoto '11?

I've always printed multiple wallet sized photo's on a single sheet of photo paper. After upgrading to iPhoto '11 is there is no option to print wallets?

There does not appear to be a way to do this with a single image selected. But if you select multiple images, and then select to print and then select Contact Sheet from the examples shown in the right hand column that appears, then this will print all the selected photos onto a single sheet.

  • Printing Wallet-sized photos in iPhoto '08

I have a photo i took on my digital camera that I am trying to crop and print as a wallet-sized image. I have resized it to a 2x3 size, but when I go to the Print settings, the photo is massively zoomed in and i can't capture the entire image in the 2x3 space, I only get a portion of the face instead of the entire headshot. I try to edit the mask and realign and zoom out on the image, but it is already zoomed out as far as it will allow (even though there is a lot of photo not being displayed).
Is there any way to work around this? Seems odd that if i want to print a wallet photo from an image i took i should be able to scale the entire image down to fit and not have to print it as an 8x10.

  • I would like to print and 8x10 as a full page of wallet size photos

I would like to scan an 8x 10 picture and print as a page of wallet size pictures. How do I do that?

Wallet sized photos are 2" x 3" or 2.5" x 3.5" for the most part which will give you 8 photos per page. So do the following:
1 - Once the photo is in iPhoto put it in an album and crop it to the wallet size ratio you want: 2:3 or 2.5:3.5
2 - Duplicate the photo 7 times so you have 8 copies to fill a letter sized page.
3 - Select all the photos in the album and start the print process.
4 - Select the paper size in the upper right hand cornder and select the print size in the lower right hand corner.
    5 - Print

  • C309a Photos printing wrong-sized

    Hello,
Wasn't sure what topic this fell under, so I figured I'd post here.
I have a c309a (all-in-one with fax).  No matter what program I try to print photos from they don't print the size selected in the print menu.  It's almost like the printer is set to print to pages on 1 sheet (I've checked, it says 1 page per sheet).  8x10s come out half-sized.  I tried printing some 4x6s for my daughter and 2 photos printed on the one sheet.   I have uninstalled and reinstalled the full software package.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am running Windows 7 (32-bit); printer software updated today 10/26/10; the printer is connected to my PC via USB.
    Thanks!
    Jamie

As a side note, when printing wirelessly from my laptop, photos print the correctly selected size... Now I'm really scratching my head...

  • How to print out wallet size photos on 6510 e-all-in-one series photosmart printer

want to print out wallet size photos (size 3 and a half x 2 and a half).  I have windows XP and my printer is the photosmart 6510 e-all-in-one series

You will have to change the settings in the photo editing software and put 2 wallets on a 4x6 or 9 wallets on a full page.  The photo tray will not take paper smaller than 4x6.

  • I I am trying to create a collage with 4-6 photo so I can print them on one sheet.   Can this be done in IPHOTO?

I am trying to create a collage with 4-6 photo so I can print them on one sheet.   Can this be done in IPHOTO?

Here are 3 options for future reference:
    1. With the setup you've described, apply a Match Move behavior to  the text and make the rectangle the source. Change the Transform parameter to Mimic source.  This way you can still adjust the text postion as needed, but the rectangle will drive the animation.
    2. Use a group to do the animation.  Put both your rectangle and text in the same group and animate the group's postion.
    3. Use the Link behavior.
Each of these has it's advantages depending on what you need.

  • Wallet size photo I want to make an 8x10 HP340Deskjet Printer All in 1, how do i do it.

I have a HP windows 7 computer, an HP 340 All in One Deskjet Printer and one wallet size photo, . I want to know how to put this photo on my printer and somehow make it go to my pc so I can make an 8x10 out of it.  Can someone help me with this.

    Hey KiarraNicole!
You should be able to scan the image with the printer software and then print it at 8 1/2 x 11" when you set the print settings. Forewarning though, blowing an image up like this will likely severely degrade your picture's quality.
    Hope this helps!

  • Is it possible to print non-standard photo sizes?

    hello-
i searched the forums but could not find anything related to my question. thanks in advance for any advice you have.
i want to print a photo that is an odd size 6x10 for use in a scrapbook. this is my first time printing a photo that is not a standard size and i have been unable to find how to do this.
i have tried to set a custom paper size in "Page Setup" (hoping to "trick" it into doing it). However, the custom size does not show up in iPhoto.
I am editing to add that I am printing at home on a Canon Pixma iP6000D.
    Please help!
    Thanks,
    Vanessa

    Vanessa:
Welcome to the Apple Discussions. You can't do it with iPhoto. You'll need a 3rd party application. Give Seashore a try. It is a freeware application. You can crop and resize in Seashore to print any sized image you want. For more advanced editors you might consider GraphicConverter or Photoshop Elements. PSE is capable of some very advanced editing.
    Do you Twango?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • Contact Prints for printing in a  Photo Lab

I want to print my contact prints in a photo lab, not in a printer.
How can I do it? The only way I have found is to save them as PDF, but this is not a good way.
    Regards.
    Guillermo

Aperture does not export contact sheets in any other format than PDF as far as I know.
A quick work around would be to export smaller versions to a desktop folder and then create a jpeg contact sheet in an external editor such as Photoshop

  • Printing two pages per sheet of paper

    I have a newsletter that is 24 pages long. Each page is 7"h X 8 1/2"w. I print on 8 1/2 X 14 size paper.
In Microsoft Publisher the software would set the layout so that the output was properly ordered. For example the front cover and the back cover printed on the same sheet, and page 2 (inside of the front cover) printed on the same sheet as page 23 (inside of the back cover).
I can't figure out how to do this in Pages. Any thoughts? Thanks.
    Mike

    Mike,
When you make a booklet you start with a vertical (letter or legal size) page. CocoaBooklet then reduces the pages and turns them side-ways and pairs them appropriately to form a booklet. A legal (14") size page will reduce to fit the 8.5 X 5.5 booklet page size (one letter size sheet side-ways and folded).
Remember, you have to start with a page that is vertical to fit the reduced side-ways page of the booklet and you lay out one page at time, not two pages on one horizontal legal size. I can't find a standard size that will reduce (approx 60%) to fit an 8.5 x 7 in. booklet. Your best bet may be to redesign your newsletter to the smaller width. Then CocoaBooklet should give you what you want. (You have to make your original page over-sized.)
If that is not what you want to do, then I suggest taking blank legal size paper and making a dummy. Assemble the number of sheets you want the finished product to be (6 sheets for 24 pages) and number them. Then disassemble them and you can see what pages must be together on each single sheet. Layout your newsletter accordingly at actual size.
    Hope this helps.

  • Epson R340 will not print higher quality photo - Jobs Stopped!

I have seen posts on this problem before but I've tried the recommendations and haven't had any luck. From IPhoto 5 (version 5.0.4) I can print regular resolution photos but if I switch to the higher resolution photos the printer stops printing. If I restart printing it says "Opening Printer Connection" and then again "Jobs stopped".
It is very frustrating since I have printed the higher resolution photos before with the same software, drivers, etc. but I cannot repeat it every time.
I have tried verifying and repairing disk permissions but it did not work. I have also tried all combinations of Advanced Options - Print Setting along with the Presets.
    Help!
Mac Mini 1.42 GHz Power PC G4   Mac OS X (10.3.9)   512 MB DDR SDRAM

I reinstalled the drivers from the original set-up disk (didn't do anything)
I reread the Help topics and noticed that Epson had set the Presets to "Standard"
I noticed that in the ColorSync Utility the default preset was "Standard", so...
I set the "Format for:" to "Stylus Photo R340"
I then changed the "Paper Size" to "4x6 (sheet feeder - borderless)"
    - I used to have it as a custom 4x6 size - this may have been the problem
Then I went into the Print menu from iPhoto and checked to see that the
    Preset was "Standard"
From there I went into "Advanced Options" -> "Print Settings" and changed the Mode from "Automatic" -> "Speed" to "Quality"
I hit print and out came the higher resolution, higher quality photos.
Thanks for helping - I think you put me on the right path.
