Printing web service information sheet

how do I print web Service Information sheet on my photosmart 5510

Hello michugo1,
On the front panel of the printer:
Press the ePrint button.
Press the "Print Info" option to print the ePrint information sheet.
If Web Services have not been enabled, after selecting the ePrint button, prompts will take you through enabling the Web Services.

  • HP LaserJet Professional P1102w won't print Web Services Information Sheet

    Hi there.
I've spent the last frustrating three hours trying to get the Web Services Information sheet to print on this printer. I need this sheet in order to register for ePrint.
I connect fine wirelessly on my computer to the printer. I have updated the firmware. Twice, to be sure.
I have gone to HP Web Services and clicked Enable
The message I then get is:
"A Web Services information sheet will be printed. Review the sheet for important information."
    However, nothing prints.
I have tried this process with the computer connected wirelessly through my network. I have tried it with the computer connected to the printer via USB. I have printed other things on the computer this way.
I have tried rebooting the network and the printer and then reconnecting
    I have tried these steps:
    http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/ePrint-Print-Apps-Mobile-Printing-and-ePrintCenter/eprint-printer-code-...
(I changed the preferred DNS from 10.0.1.11 and the alternate DNS from 8.8.4.4. to the values suggested)
Afterwards, there was no change. My printer continued to print in every way possible. However, it will not print the Web Services Information Sheet.
I'm very keen on getting my hands on this email so that I can register for ePrint. Can anybody help me? I would be hugely grateful.

Sorry to hear you were unable to setup the wireless again on the p1102w.
I have provided some steps in resetting up the p1102w on wireless network if you decide
to do it again in the future.
Reset the printer back to factory settings.
(turn printer off then hold down the x and the wireless button while turning on the printer until the lights start blinking then release the buttons.
Disconnect the usb cable from the printer.
Disconnect the routers power cable for 10 seconds and then reconnect it again.
Uninstall the p1102w from the computer.
(open cd  and select uninstall or go to uninstall a program from the control panel.)
Run the cd again or download depending what operating system you are running.
Connect the usb cable when prompted to setup the wireless again.
Enter passwords for the network when prompted.
Disconnect the usb cable when prompted.
Should be able to print out the test page now.
Then you should be able to get the web services information sheet to print but will need to print out a self test on the printer to get the new ip address for the printer.
If further issues you can contact HP technical support at 1-800-474-6836.

  • Unable to Print a Web Services Information Sheet to Obtain a Claim Code

I'm trying to add a HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP m276nw as an ePrint device.  I've successfully updated the printer firmware.  When I enable the web services the Print Information Sheet button appears, but nothing prints when I click it and I'm unable to obtain a claim code.
I'm stuck.  I'm not sure where to go from here...

If you have successfully enable web services, you have a couple of options:
    1. use your IP address, input it into your web browser and browse to the embedded web page. Go to the web services tab and find the email address assigned to your printer. It should be something like [email protected] The printer code will be everything before the @ sign.
    2. Go to your control panel. Click on the web services icon (icon on the far left). Click on display email addres. Printer code will be everything before the @ sign.
    3. Print a configuration page. Tools icon - reports - config page. In the right column, locate HP Web Service (bottom right) - printer email address - printer code will be everything before the @ sign.
Use the xxxxxx before the @ sign for the printer code to register the printer at HP Connected.

  • Web service information sheet

I have a officejet J4540 all in one printer

    Hi golfersusieq,
    Thank you for the update.
Here is the link for connecting a classic printer with Google Cloud Print as a separate link. https://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&docname=c03561640
Also here is the link for the home page for Google Cloud Print.  http://www.google.com/cloudprint/learn/
Hopefully the link separated from the title works for you. If neither link works try searching for connect classic printer google cloud print and the first option should be the page you are looking for.
I'm hoping that this time the links work for you.

  • Processing web service information before displaying

I facing challenges to display my external web services information properly.
    For example, this web service
    http://www.webservicex.com/globalweather.asmx/GetCitiesByCountry?CountryName=Singapore
It returns a string value in JDeveloper
    <NewDataSet>
    <Table>
    <Country>Singapore</Country>
    <City>Singapore / Paya Lebar</City>
    </Table>
    <Table>
    <Country>Singapore</Country>
    <City>Singapore / Changi Airport</City>
    </Table>
    </NewDataSet>
It displays the whole thing on the screen. There is no way I can change the server side. I can only fix the client side(ADF Mobile) to fit to the server output. I tried creating URL Service Data Control but no success because the schema cannot validate and crashed when deployed. I have to write a part of Java code to process the information. What do I need to do inside task flow? How do I create a flow like this? How do I hide the processing part aside putting inside view?
    User input(View) -> Call webservice -> Process webservice output(Java) -> Proper output(View)
    My JDeveloper version is 11.1.2.3.39.62.76.1
Sorry I did not see the announcement

  • URL for WSDL only shows web service information page

    Using tomcat6 and jwsdp 2.0.
After requesting the WSDL, I instead get the Web Service information page which shows this in a table form:
    Web Services,
    Port Name, Status, Information
    etc.
Why doesn't it give me back the WSDL instead?

The information page must contain end point wise information displayed.
Each end point information contains web service address, WSDL address(you are looking for this I hope), Implementation class etc.
Also, try giving *?wsdl* parameter at the end of your web service address, it must lead you to the WSDL file of the web service.

  • Hiding web service information

I just thought I'd share this. I have a Lion Server up and running for things like iCal, Address Book, Profile Manager, etc. However, I'm not using the Web service proper because I already have web hosting elsewhere. Unfortunately, when you enable things like Profile Manager the web service still needs to run. If you bounce it (Start it and then stop it), it redirects the default page to /var/empty. This is all fine and good except that a browser pointed at the server now returns an HTTP 403 page that includes all kinds of handy version information:
    Apache/2.2.19 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.19 OpenSSL/0.9.8r DAV/2 PHP/5.3.6 with Suhosin-Patch Server at server.domain.com Port 443
While this isn't normally a problem it does provide a potential attacker with a handful of useful information they can use to start with. "Oh hey, its running Apache 2.2.19 on Unix with mod_ssl. Now I know the following vulnerabilities are valid."
Maybe I'm being ultra paranoid, but I always view it as being a much better idea to not provide any more information than necessary. You can adjust this behavior by doing the following:
    1. Create a file, I called mine "0000_hideinfo_.conf" in /etc/apache2/sites.
    2. In that file, put these two lines:
    ServerTokens ProductOnly
    ServerSignature Off
    3. Start and stop the web service. Now the 403 page will report only "403 Forbidden" and won't disclose and unnecessary version information.
While I'd like to say this was all my idea, I found this information here:
    http://www.ducea.com/2006/06/09/apache-tips-tricks-discover-the-web-server-softw are-and-version-of-a-remote-server
    http://www.ducea.com/2006/06/15/apache-tips-tricks-hide-apache-software-version
Note, someone can still figure out this is an OSX server by hitting /profilemanager or /webmail. However, I prefer to note disclose version information when its not needed.

    Hi there hope you are doing well Lochana;
I will need to know what operating system and version of it do you have in your computer? If you need futher assistance.
Watch this video; to get familiar with eprint registration procces
    Let's take this steps 1st.
Perform a power reset on the HP product and wireless router, and then restart the computer
Follow these steps to reset your HP printer, your wireless router, and your computer.
Press the Power button ( ) on the HP printer to turn it off.
Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the HP printer.
Disconnect the power cord from the wireless router.
    Turn off the computer.
    Wait 30 seconds.
Reconnect the power cord to the wireless router.
Wait 30 seconds, or until the router is fully on and ready.

Enable Web Services from the Embedded Web Server (EWS)
Use the following steps to enable Web Services on your HP product.

Open an Internet browser (such as Internet Explorer).
Type the product IP address in the browser address bar, and then press Enter .

    Firmware update
A firmware update might help to resolve wireless connectivity issues. Firmware updates are available for download on the Web. Follow these steps to obtain a firmware update for your product:
NOTE:Firmware updates are different from product updates (that were referenced in the previous step). Make sure to perform both types of updates to guarantee that your HP product has the most up-to-date functionality.
Click this link, HP Customer Care , to go to the HP Customer Care Support page.
Type your product number in the search field, and then click Next . You might also need to click your model in a list of similar products.
    The product support page displays.
Click Software & Driver Downloads , select your operating system, and then click Next .

  • My printer won't print the web services information sheet

    Hi,
My HP photosmart premium all-in-one printer will not print the web services information sheet.  both eprint and web services are on and it's showing a printer's email address.
however, when i click 'Print Report' i get a message that it's been requested and may take a moment but nothing happens.
    any ideas?
    A

    Hi Cocklina,
I would suggest you to turn the printer and the router off and retry.
If that does not go through.
Then on the printer under the setting go in to network restore network default.
Then go back in the network option on the printer select Wireless set up wizard.
It will give you a list of network, select the one which is yours.
Then try printing the info sheet for the ePrint.
    Thanks

  • Won't print information sheet for network printer

I have accessed my printer on two different computers wirelessly. I need a "printer code" for other devices, which apparently is printed on some "sheet"....which won't print. I get a message that "a web services information sheet will be printed...." but nothing ever comes out (but documents do so I know it works.)
How do I get this information sheet to actually print?

Thank you SO much for your quick response! I think it kept dropping the connection intermittently and screwed up the request to "enable" the network printing. (That was on the page where you enter the ip address in a webpage) so when I asked to print that info page, it just lost the request every time.
I did google around a little and reset the router and the printer by replugging in the printer. I also reset some automatic IP stuff  to manual setting (I am REALLY not familiar with this kind of thing...can you tell!? ha ha!!!)  Anyway, I followed the instructions for a different printer (with a similar connection issue) here on the hp site...the DNS thing seemed to make the difference:
    http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Networking-and-Wireless/HP-Photosmart-5510-Printer-Wireless-Net...
I hope other non-techies like me can follow those instructions too. That 8.8.8.8. and 8.8.4.4. stuff and the re-plugging in seemed to somehow make it work!

Hi there, two other things you could try (if not already attempted) are:
Check to ensure that you have the latest firmware for your router – review your router documentation/help (or the router manufacturer’s web site) for information on how to check for and install firmware updates.
Restore factory defaults - The factory default option is usually found in the Setup>Tools menu on your printer.   Do the following on your device:
    Remove/Disable Web Services
Restore factory defaults/settings (depending on the printer this is found under the Setup>Tools menu, or the Setup>Web Services menus, but varies by printer)
If prompted, re-do initial setup of your device and add it to your network
    Re-enable Web Services
Once the Web Services information sheet is printed, use the printer claiming code to add your printer to your account on ePrintCenter

  • Web services information sheet

I am trying to link my laptop with the printer. The web services information sheet will not print. I get the message on the printer screen 'Downloading instruction page from the web' but after a while the sheet does not print and I am returned to the home page. When I am checking the Web Services page on the printer the Status is showing as Connected and e print is On. There is a solid blue light on the printer showing there is a solid wireless connection.
Is it possible there is a technical issue with the printer? How would I resolve this? Is there a number I can ring where I can get some assistance with this as it is extremely frustrating?
    Many thanks.

    Hi GayleneC,
Thank you for the update and additional information.  I truly appreciate it.
You indicated that you tried to update the firmware, I’m wondering since the printer isn’t connecting to web services that it might not have connected to check for firmware updates.  I’ve included two links, one is for the Windows version of the HP LaserJet Pro Series Firmware Update Utility the other is for the Mac version of the HP LaserJet Pro Series Firmware Update Utility. Please choose the one for your operating system and let’s try and update the firmware without using the front panel of the printer.
After running the firmware update utility, please disable the IPv6 wireless through the embedded web server.  Please follow the steps below:
To open the HP Embedded Web Server, type the product IP address into the address line of a Web browser. When it opens it should look like the screen shot below.
Please click on the ‘Network’ tab as highlighted in the screen shot above.
Please click on ‘Advanced’ in the left hand side menu as shown above. Please uncheck IPv6 and click on ‘Apply’.
Please click on the ‘HP Web Services’ tab.
Please click on the ‘Enable’ button. The Web Services information sheet should print.
