Printing with Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard

Does anyone have issues printing in Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard with the HP CM1415fnw? I thought I have the latest driver downloaded.

Check the settings in the Print Screen / Page Handling section - you may need to check or un-check the auto rotate and center button?

Hello, i get this error when im trying to insert a PDF into a word doument.
In Adobe Reader X it was the Protect Mode but in Acrobat Standard in don't have this Option.

The Problem has our General Manager.
I will try to explain the Problem a little bit better.
Our General Manager had a Windwos 7 32bit with Word 32bit and Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.5. When he inserted a PDF with Drag & Drop in Word all works fine.
Since he have a Windws7 64bit with Word 64bit and Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.5 he get a Acroexch error. I tried it on my Workstation and had the same error. Yesterday i tried it again on a Windws7 32bit with Word 32bit with Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.5 and it worked.
If i try to insert the PDF as a Object it works on both Systems. I saw now that Adobe Acrobat is a 32bit Version. Is there a 64bit version for Adobe Acrobat 9.5?

Acrobat Standard has not been developed for Mac platform so Mac version is not available. It can only run on windows machine.

CANNOT Print with Adobe Acrobat 9

I am running Microsoft Vista with Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard.
When trying to print to a printer I get an error message that I need to install/select a printer.
I can print from any other application. Just now Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard.
I installed the free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader X and can print fine. I would prefer not to keep both applications on my computer.
I use Adobe Acrobat 9 to modify PDF documents and would prefer not to have to switch to the free reader just to print the documents.
I appreciate anyone's suggestions.
I have tried rebooting my computer, updating my printer files, turning the printer on and off and then on again.
I seems that for some reason Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard does not recognize my printer - an HP Office Jet Pro 8500. All other applications work fine with it.

Are you on Acrobat 9.4.2? If so, then please refer to the below mentioned KB Article.

Adobe has released an update to Acrobat 9.4.2 for the Print Issue in the form of an EXE. I have applied the fix on my system, and it seems to have fixed the printing problem.
You can try downloading and applying the EXE and see if it helps fix your problem.

Problem printing with Adobe Acrobat X pro. No File Save As dialog

We have a C++ program to print a formatted report, by selecting the configured printers. "Adobe PDF" printer is available on install of Adobe Acrobat Pro.
During report print when "Adobe PDF" printer is selected, the report use to get printed in a PDF document & saves at the path provided by the User.
Internally it uses printer APIs like OnBeginPrinting, StartDoc, OnPrepareDC, StartPage, OnPrepareDC etc.
Report printing was working fine with Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.1. But since I installed Adobe Acrobat X pro (with update as 10.1.3) I am unable to print PDF document using "Adobe PDF" pinter.
StartDoc API does not pops up the "File Save As" dialog at all.
Any help in this regard, would be very useful.
Note: My code is working fine, if I use freeware like CutePrinter.

Interesting. My approach would
1. Try on a different system if available. If still bad...
2. Try to create a simple test application with CreateDC and StartDoc, and really nothing else not absolutely needed.
Test that. If it is good, look for other problems in your application (e.g. memory overwrite).
If your little example is still bad, post it here and other people can try and compare your results.

Another thing to consider when using Acrobat 7.x is that Adobe has announced Acrobat 7.x support ends December 2010.

I have installed Adobe Acrobat Pro on my mac book air version 10.9.2. but am unable to print. When I print a PDF, it shows up in the printer icon as complete but when I go to the printer, nothing is there? Can someone help?

This type of error usually occurs when two or more than two programs are accessing the same file at a point of time.
Does this issue occur with that specific pdf or with other pdfs too?
How about if you make a copy of that pdf and then try deleting pages from that copied pdf? Do let me know if that works.
If possible...Can you mail me that pdf file at [email protected] so that i can check this issue at my end?

Crash after print with adobe acrobat

It is impossible to print out from Adobe Acrobat Pro X with my main-/administrator account. Everytime I print, Acrobat restarts.
The special thing is, when i am loged with the guest account, Acrobat Pro X prints promptly.
Any idea what this bug could be or any solution for this problem?

How to adjust margins to print with Adobe Acrobat pdf web page?

when I print to PDF with Acrobat or with the printer margins and the information in the top and bottom defaults (URL, page number ...) do not satisfy me. the possibility exists of being able to reset? How? do you have any suggestions?

I would define how to position Title, URL, number of page and date also margin left, right, top and bottom. This element in other browser Mozzilla, Explorer is defined in "Page Preview".
Acrobat don't have possibility to set this parameter..

Problems with adobe acrobat standard 8

I am having problems converting my work into PDF. I have been using this program for years. I have windows Vista and when I click on convert the save screen shows up and I click save then the working little screen comes up with the fill bar and the fill bar fills to about 20% then disappears. The file does not convert.

May i suggest you go to Acrobat Preferences->International, in Application Lauguage drop-down list, select "Choose at application startup" and then relaunch Acrobat. Language Selection dialog should be shown up to let you choose either English, Brazilian, Portuguese, or Norwegian language.

Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.3.1 loads pages very slowly with Windows XP 64 bit version

Our company has purchased Dell Precision T3500 workstations with Intel XEON processor and 6 Gb of RAM. The operating system is Windows XP 64-bit version. The systems came with Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.3.1. Each one of these workstations load PDF files into Acrobat very slowly. Does anyone have a answer why?

Firstly, there's no such thing as Apache 9.3, there's Apache 1 (and subversions) and Apache 2 (and subversions). Your error message -

Secondly, I'm confused by your comment -
I do not have Apache 9.3 or higher but I think oracle should offer this in its companion CDOracle does offer the Apache server, if you're saying you didn't get it from Oracle then where did your Apache server come from?
Thirdly, I notice from your config file -
ErrorLog "|E:\oracle\product\10.1.0\Companion\Apache\Apache\bin\rotatelogs logs/error_log 43200"That you're piping the logs through rotatelogs, are you sure the logfiles haven't just been renamed?

Adobe Acrobat Standard 8.12 keeps crashing

I have an issue with Adobe Acrobat Standard 8.12. When I load up Acrobat and go into the EDIT menu and then choose Preferences I get the following error.
I initially uninstalled Adobe Acrobat Standard 8.12 and then reinstalled the application but this made no difference. I then rebuilt the laptop and installed the XP operating system and then Adobe Acrobat Standard 8.12. When I go into the preferences option the same thing happens.
This was not the original problem I was experiencing. The initial problem I had was after I opened a PDF file, and choose File \Export \ Word document and then the settings option the application shut down with no error message being displayed.
This is when I went to the preferences menu option to see if any setting was affecting the export of the PDF file.
Word 2007 is also installed on the laptop which has the word 2007 PDF option. I have disabled this add-in but still no joy.
Any help would be appreciated.

As you are trying to update to Acrobat XI ,it may or may not be compatible with both the versions .It could work fine without causing any difficulties .
In case you face any compatibility or any other issue ,feel free to write us back so that we can assist you with the issue .
Also make sure the OS on which you would install Acrobat XI should be compatible with it .
It generally does not cause any issue ,however if it does ,we are here to help you with that .

I have recently had to re-install windows on my laptop.
My laptop came with Adobe Acrobat Standard X pre-installed. I have the card with the serial number on it that came with the laptop.
I now need to download Adobe Acrobat Standard X onto this laptop.
I don't have a previous adobe account, and also don't have a download history for this product, since it came pre-installed.

No way to know that.You must contact your customer service ,give all you serials,deactivate the machine where the soft was installed,they will tell you which serial was on it.
