PRINTOUT MISSING "G" CHARACTER

i realy need some hep please.
I have configure reports with PDFPrint.
COMMAND: rwclient mode=bitmap destype=PDFPrint desformat=PDF desname=PRD116 batch=yes
PROBLEM:
If I open PDF file in $ORACLE_HOME/reports/cache everithing is OK. If I open the postscript file created by pdftops -level1 -q command it looks
OK. If I print it from linux gui (gnome ghostview) it is printed OK. I have
printed succesfully both, the ps and the pdf file.
If I try to print it with rwclient command or manualy via lpr the "G" character is missing.
There is nothing printed instead of "G" character, not even a blank space.

I have done what reports configuration does manualy and it does not work:

Hostname, missing last character

I installed the Oracle 9iAS R2 Infrastructure to an XP machine. The installation done without errors, but when I'm trying to see the MyPage, the link puts me to wrong page (the same error is occures with some other pages too).
My host is pamoas. The AS works on the pamoas:7777.
When I goes to the pamoas:7777/oiddas/ and choose the MyPage, the link drops me to the pamoas:7777/oiddas/ui/oracle/ldap/das/mypage/viewmypage.
This page drops me to the pamoa:7777/pls/orasso/orasso.wwsso_app_admin.ls.login.
This is a wrong link. When I expans the "pamoa" with the missing "s", it shows the needed login page with an unexpected error (WWC-414000).
It is the third installation with different names, and there is always the missing last character problem.
Could help somebody, why the last character is missing, and how can I solve this problem?

Printout missing characters, Mac

we have a rather odd problem and as I am not too much into Macintosh and Adobe Acrobat I can't seem to find the solution.
We have official school documents that needs to be printed out, the properties of affected PDFs are produced by Oracle PDF driver, PDF version 1.4 (Acrobat 5.x)
When printing the document certain characters are simply missing on the printout, sounds like a font problem to me, Arial and ArialBold are Embedded (Subset, type TrueType (CID))
Printing it as a jpeg works fine but the quality is way too poor, printing from Windows works as well. It can't be a system font problem tho as it also works using a different third party pdf viewer on the very same system.
CS 5.5 Premium Suite
Adobe Acrobat X, 10.1.2
Applies to different Macs! Lion as well as Snow Leopard, same letters missing
Maybe someone was facing a similar issue before, couldnt find anything helpful on forums or discussion groups, at least the Oracle PDF driver seems to to cause these problems for others as well at times.

After i reboot it goes away. But comes back randomly. I thought maybe it was a network thing....i am one of 3 macs at our company. However that is not the case, as it happened at home, where i was not connected to the network.

Missing czech character

Hi,
I have problem with my adobe interactive form placed in WD4A. In all my texts some characters( č Č, ů, ě...) are missing, but ohers (á,í..) are displayed correctly. In preview in SE80 (in integrated livecycle designer), reader shows all characters ok, but in WD4A applications are they missing(blank space instead character). Form locale is set to Czech (i have tried EN-US but no sucess).
What can be the problem?

This is an old problem that was supposed to be fixed with a software and firmware update but it still seems to happen on my MB. The first character I type generally does not register. Anyone else with this problem? I already had the keyboard replaced. Cheers.

I don't use growl... so I can't say if it may be related to the problem. In my experience, I cannot relate the problem to anything, neither could people here. There used to be a huge thread on this problem, but it got deleted (maybe because the issue is considered solved).
Another thing that makes it hard to isolate the cause is that it seems impossible to replicate a situation in which the keystrokes are missed. Sometimes I have the problem once or twice a month, then there are days when it happens all the time. I also think it was there from the beginning, but I'm not sure about that, since it took me some time getting used to the keyboard, and I may have attributed missed keystrokes to my lack of typing skills
Support told me to install OSX again, and see if the problem is still there. I could not do it so far since I really need my MB for work right now, but I will try it and report back. I think if it doesn't vanish then, it can't be a software problem. Any opinions on this?

Problem on Chinese subtitle - missing some character when import from STL

Dear All,
I have a problem when I import the Chinese subtitle from STL file. Both Traditional and Simplified Chinese on separate file.
The STL is in correct format and coding. The file can be imported but some of the character were missing from the very beginning of most sentences. I do not know what it going on. I also tried other coding but they only show garbage.
I tested as again and again with different combination and I retype few sentences again but they show the same result.
Is there anyone facing this problem before? Please help!

try to add a space before each line of text in STL file. That should do the trick. Of course your encoding should be UTF-16.

PO printout-missing material description-V Urgent help required

Hi,
I am facing a unique issue here.Some times when I create a PO it does not show the material description in the print preview and also in the printout.
It happens sometimes only.
When I try to create a another PO fro the same material it works perfectly okay.
What could be the reason for this ?
It's very urgent as it's affecting business.

The thing is that for my user some times the material description deos not appear irrspective of whether she saves the PO or see the preview first.
It is not happening all the time.
Also, when she creates new PO with same material again, it shows material description.
I do not understand this.
Since morning I have found one more issue.I could not see LOGO on the top of PO in preview or actual printout for all the POs. Be it already saved old O or created today.
This is becoming a big issue now.
Is this something to do with authorisations or what could be it ?
PLease let me know if any alternative solution available or any specific thing missed ou.

Epson Inkjets -- horrible quality printouts, missing colors w/ Tiger 10.4.3

Ever since the updates to Tiger 10.4, my Epson Stylus C82 inkjet (which has worked perfectly for the past three years) will no longer print all four colors. I'm lucky if I can even get a b/w text print that isn't spotty and missing bands of ink all the way down the page. I've cleaned the print heads so many times I've used up half the ink in the brand new Epson CMYK cartridges I'd installed (thinking the problem was old ink). I also tried using a utility that was often suggested on the discussion boards, called Printer Setup Repair, which I think may have somehow made things even worse.
I decided maybe it was just time for a new printer. To experiment, I borrowed my brother-in-law's brand new unused Stylus C86, loaded it with new Epson ink, and it's even worse than the C82 -- it spools, loads the paper, the print heads make like they're laying down the ink, but it spits out a blank page. I can't even get it to give me a nozzle check confirmation pattern after cleaning the print heads in the Printer Utility. I took the cartridges out, thinking maybe the seal wasn't broken at the tips, but of course, they were (too easy -- wishful thinking).
With both printers I'm using the right Epson inks, the same basic all-purpose ink jet paper I've always used, and I'm trying to print simple one-page tests from Mail, Preview, and Safari, nothing fancy like Quark or Photoshop. This is just so bizarre, I can't imagine what's happened. I haven't been able to get a decent print since mid-September.
I should also mention, I first went through the unfortunately popular issue where Epson Printer Utility does not work with the Tiger-bundled Gimp drivers. And the whole thing where it starts to spool something , then crashes. So I installed Epson's latest drivers and set up those in the Printer Setup Utility. Of course, now I'm having trouble sharing my printer, but that's not exactly an issue, since I can't share a printer that doesn't print in the first place. I'm not sure if these issues are related to the aforementioned strange and hideous print quality, except that it all started happening around the same time after the Tiger updates.
Any info or suggestions would be much appreciated (as well as accounts of similar horror stories).

Yes, I can do a nozzle check with the USB unplugged,
and I still get poor results on the C82 and nothing
on the C86. I just can't believe both printers are
broken. The C86 is new, and they were both working
fine previously.
Epsons are notorious for getting their print heads clogged. Run the clean print head routine a few times. If that doesn't work, return the new printer 'cause it's dead out of the box. The old printer, well, once Epson print heads get to a certain level of clogging, nothing will unclog them. Toss the printer and get a new one. Hint: HP and (some) Canon printers put the print heads in the ink cartridges, while Epson and (some) Canons have the print heads in the printers. Machines which have the heads in the carts also have an easy fix for severe clogs: toss the cart. Warning: HP printer drivers stink.
If you don't need colour, you might think seriously about getting a low-end laser.
I just got the C82 to print readably, but still
completely missing magenta and with minimal
fuzziness. This was just dumb luck though, from
letting the printer sit idle for several hours.
It's still clogged. Clean the heads a few times again, or just toss it.
And yes, I've tried setups through the Print & Fax
pref pane, which usually works better than going
through the Printer Setup Utility which tends to
freeze and crash.
I wish I could afford to just buy another printer.
But I'm still worried it's something to do with my
computer, since both printers are having problems
simultaneously, and they're both really good
all-purpose printers.

Customer Dunning printout - missing columns

Hi,
I have tried using F150 to run customer dunning. The sapscript attached F150_BE_DUNN_01 for printing of dunning form. However, 3 columns are missing from form - Doc no, currency and amount. I'm using the standard form given.
Pl advised.

Missing first character in file upload

We've developed a class called IfsManager which:
1) connects to iFS (using admin credentials)
2) checks to see if the user specified exists, and if not, creates the user specified user directory
3) creates the document (which is being uploaded from the local file system)
When a file (.doc, .pdf, etc.) is uploaded to iFS, the first character is always stripped from the file. Does anyone know how to solve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Dude! You're calling stream.read(), that's why you're "losing" a character! (You're actually reading the first character out of the InputStream before iFS has a chance to "**** " it into the database.
Here's an excerpt from the Java API javadoc for the InputStream.read() method:
"Reads the next byte of data from the input stream..."

A lot of characters missing from "Character Viewer" .. can I get them?

Most musical symbols show an empty box.
Other categories too...
Could I've erased them? With CleanMyMac maybe?

Character Viewer isn't doing what I want it to do, can somebody help me?
Here's the issue: I have a font installed called Anastasia, which contains musical symbols. I would like to be able to bring up its whole character set on the screen so I can pick which character to insert in my document. It seems to me that this is what Character Viewer is intended to do; however, I can find no way to view the character set for this particular font, Anastasia. The "Muscial Symbols" collection brings up a limited set of symbols, such as notes, but it's an incomplete set and it does not show Anastasia as one of the available font variations. This font is definitely installed and at least one of my installed apps uses it routinely. But it doesn't seem to be accessible through Character Viewer. What am I doing wrong?

Russian virtual keyboard missing a character!

...namely character "ъ".
I understand that space is limited and this character needed not very often, but why don't BB place it among numerics or another extended set?
Same issue with character "ё"

It may be an alternate selection on another key. Is there a similar Russian letter? If so hold that letter and a pop up will be available allowing you to select the other letter.

Exported metatags missing last character

Hi,
I wonder if this is only here or if it is a bug. When I export an image in jpg for web use the last character of every iptc field gets deleted. The odd thing is that if I add a black after the last character the all text gets exported (but I can´t spend the time to add a empty space on every field on 1100 images)
Is this a bug? Is there a fix?

1 Thai Character printout wrongly but preview report good

HI Experts,
I have a problem when printing Thai Characters in report.
When preview the thai characters displayed perfectly.
But when printout - Only 1 character is printed wrongly.
Example: สำ
it will be printed as ส0
I've used other printer to test and same results appeared.
I've also print other printing but it prints correctly.
Not too sure if its the printer problem now or the report.
Some of the Thai words are maintained in the translation and some retrieve from table. But it prints out incorrectly.
Any ideas?

I tried the link - but its not quite solve my problem because it is not a form which I am creating.
The problem arised only to this report that I modified from the standard program - S_ALR_87009895 - Input Tax Report. Another form which I had created prints out perfectly.
I dont think its the form that is the cause of the problem because there are printing which extracts directly from the table field to print.
Any guidance to check on the Output Device type or the printer setting?

Missing on Users end: How to install Font Manager.IndesignPlugin. Indesign_CC

I installed Indesign CC on the admin side of my computer. It seems to open/work fine there but when i login as a user on the computer, it won't open Indesign because it claims it is missing the Font Manager.IndesignPlugin. It originally said it was also missing the Character Panel.IndesignPlugin but I copied and pasted it from the admin to user's plugin folders. That seemed to fix that issue. But, doign find/searchs of the file name on both the Admin side and users side, i I am unable to even find the plugin. Why is this happening and where can I find this?
So very frusturated. This is all after I've installed/uninstalled this 4 times already today because of other issues.
