Prints too many pages

I told the printer to print 10 copies from The Print Shop 23.1 and I removed the paper after printing 30 copies. Deleted the print job. If I copy the document, it prints the correct amount.  Any ideas??

> However, I don't seem to have the Tiling option in my Print Dialog box, in the Scaling menu.
This option is available in Adobe Acrobat, not Adobe Reader.

  • Exchange printing too many pages

I have and individual on exchange, that every time they want to print E-Mail it prints about 70 or 80 pages more then the one page they are trying to print.  I have this person on the same printers with drivers that work for a hundred other people
so I figured there must be something wrong with the Exchange profile so I deleted it and started again.  The same thing happened.  Any ideas?

    I had the same issue.
    It was solved by;
    Forward the email
    Selecting everything in the mail
And finally remove all formatting. (The upper right icon in the basic text group)
(Not certain how the functions are named in the english version as i use the norwegian version of Office 2010)

  • Sapscript: Output is continuous or contains too many pages (more than 3)

    Hi,
I have developed Sapscript form for printing out material documents.
When users try to print out document with 68 positions, they receive error in MB90 -
" Output is continuous or contains too many pages (>3)".
    Message no. TD405
If they try to print out small document, for example 3 positions, everything is ok.
What I have to check now?
    Thanks,
    Sveta.

    Hi,
Try to check the page counters for each page format.
How many Page formats are there in your Form?
    Check the First Page Attributes,
    Page Counter
    Mode                     START
    Numbering Type     ARABIC
        Output length     00
which is next page to First page
    Check Next Page Attributes
    Page counter
    Mode                     INC
    Numbering Type     ARABIC
    Output length         00
which is next page to Next page

    next   page as affidvt.
When I test run this script it gives -

    Any solution ?

Check the page assignments again. Looks like at least 2 pages are calling each other.

  • HP 4620 Scanning too many pages; Extra blank pages ???

My 4620 Fax/Scan/Print/Copy will not scan correctly. I put one page to scan to my computer adn it scans 20 + pages. No matter how many pages I put in it always scans extra blank pages. I have reset the machine, I have realligned the machine and nothing works. Doe anyone know how I can fix this problem??
    Thank you,
    Mel

    Hello Mel7777,
    Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you are having an issue with the printer scanning multiple blank pages.
First off, please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a power bar/strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer as an example but it is meant for HP products in general. Please click on the following link that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.
Please be sure to power cycle the unit with the ON/OFF button after you have connected the power cable to the wall outlet.  This will do a semi power reset on the unit.
So I can better assist you, please respond with which Operating System you are running.
Which Windows Operating System am I running?

Write me back when you have time and I will be happy to help.

  • IWeb re-creates too many pages

I understand the difference between "Publish" and "Publish All", but what I don't understand is why iWeb re-creates so many pages when I "Publish". If I work on three pages and then simply "Publish", the darn thing spends five minutes re-creating those three and a half-dozen other pages I didn't touch. Not the end of the world, but kind of annoying.
Is there something I can do to eliminate this, or can someone at least help me understand why I am sitting and watching iWeb spin it's wheels for so long?
    Thanks,
    Bryan

    The strange thing is that:
Even when the new page you are working on is in another site in iWeb the publish feature goes through some long process. While no files in the other sites are changed they are 'checked one by one,' making the publish process more tedious than it has to be.
Since the nav bar is a part of the html code all pages in the site you add a page to must be modified. If you don't wish this to happen uncheck the checkboxes in the Inspector:
    1. Select the page and Open the Inspector
    2. Click on the page icon.
    3. uncheck 'include this page in the navigation menu.' and 'display navigation menu'
iWeb makes it very easy to create your own nav menu. Just type in some text and select it. Then open the Inspector and click on the hyperlink icon. (Arrow icon) and select 'enable as hyperlink' From the pull down menu choose one of your pages in your site.

  • Pc Companion - too many page faults

I have PcCompanion version 2.01.192 installed on Vista 32 bits Professional.  I own an X10a.
PcCompanion is constantly running into page faults.  After 1 hour after rebooting, it already has over 47 millions page faults.  I have had this problem ever since I have my X10 on all versions of PcCompanion which I have been running.  No other application is running in millions of page faults on my PC, not even my browser with many tabs open.  PcCompanion is only using 21Meg of memory, it has no reason to hit so many page faults.
Is there any way to disable PcCompanion without de-installing it or get a fix for this fault.
I can't find any good explanation why a program like PcCompanion would hit so many page fault.  This must be a bug.
Anything you want me to collect from my PC to help you identify the bug and re-issue a new software ?
Am I the only one with this problem ?  You can check the Page Fault column in the process view of the Windows Task Manager.

You  should sync your contacts and calendar with Google
    open your phonebook
press MENU button -> tap on Send Contacts -> select all -> send it to your email
    on your computer
-> download the file -> go to your gmail -> click on contacts -> click on more actions -> on the drop down menu click on "import" -> choose the file -> and click import

  • You want to print how many pages? I don't think we have the memory for that Dave.

Printing lots of pages? XAML might not be the right choice. Find out more here:

I still have bitter feelings about printing in metro app. The MS team has made it extraordinarily difficult to print in metro. To give you an idea, if you want to print out a simple string of text in wpf, it takes 3 lines of code. If you want to print out
the same string of text in metro, it takes 100+ lines of code and pray that the app doesn't crash.
It took me months, yes months, to fully figure out how to print properly more than 1 page in a metro app.

  • C6180 prints too many copies

I know that others have posted on this exact issue, however thier solutions did not work. Below are the systems info:
OS is Win7 Ultimate 64bit (with all current updates)
64bit HP Software installed dated 9/2009 (using C6100 driver)
    Bidirectional Printing is Disabled
Menu on printer is set to 1 (one) copy
Printer is used wirelessly only (have not tried usb cable) (not sure I have one anymore)
Printer prints fine from an XP Pro wireless mini. No matter if I set the copies to 1 (one), it will give me most of the time 4 or more depending on the number of pages. This is something that just started. Computer is clean (no virus or related threats detected). It does scan properly and the manual copy button on the device works correctly as well.
I have not tried un-installing and cleaning the HP software off yet, I wanted to see if someone had come across this first and see if they had found a fix before I go to that trouble, Thanks
    John

    Hello,
I have the exact same problem with an HPL7680.  I am using Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit) and this just started recently after an HP Update in mid to late November.  Like youi, I can print fine within the same network (with wired and wireless devices) with OSs that are non-Windows 7...specifically with Windows XP, I have no problems.
I uninstalled the software completely and reinstalled.  The first few print jobs were OK and then it reverted back to printing 3-4 pages per job when the number of copies was one (1).  It doesn't matter what application I am in and even the Test Page printed 3 pages.  I opened up the print job dialogue to see what was going on and it always begins with 4/1 under pages and then reverts to 3/1 and will not delete the job after the first print cycle.  I checked the Windows XP print dialogue and it does the same, however, it immediately deletes the print job after the first copy...no problems.
I distinctly believe this has to do with that update.  I am attempting to restore the system, however, I cannot find a restore point for the update.
Does HP Tech have any input on this?  I only have so much ink and paper I can afford before I trash this HP.

  • Print message - Output is continuous or contains too many pages ( 4)

I have created a new page in SAPScript called COVER_PG and now when I attempt to print an invoice I get that message.  I am using Esker to send an email to a recipient and then the message comes up.  I am not sure what it means or how to fix it.  Any help would be appreciated.

May be your ESKER can handle upto 4 pages only... Try with some less pages like 3 or so.. and see what happens...

  • Photosmart C6180 prints too many copies of PDFs and HTML-documents

    Hi,
My Photosmart C6180 prints multiple copies of documents even if I haven't asked for it. This seems to only apply to PDFs and HTML-documents, I haven't seen it happen with Word/Excel. It's not consistent, it happens most of the time but now always for these documents. When I look at the console, when it has started printing I see shortly the status "Printing - Restarting". That's probably when it starts the 2nd copy. Sometimes it stops by itself, other times it seems to be looping and I have to turn the printer off and delete the document from the queue.
HP solution center SW is updated, I run Vista with latest service packs on a Thinkpad T400s.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks!

My C6180 printed multiple copies of any document from my Vista OS laptop ( wireless connection ), but not from my
XP OS desktop ( USB connection), even though I selected 1 copy on the print menu. Unchecking "Enable bidirectional support" in the Properties / Ports dialog box solved the problem. Hope this helps someone too.

  • Stopping Crystal Printing Too Many Records

I have a report in crystal.  It is showing some details held on our Case Management System.  If people merge in the template twice they end up with a set of 8 blank details in their case.  This in turn forces Crystal to print many rows for each of these cases as it prints ever possible combination of answers for each detail.  As a result I had 540,000 records instead of 1 this morning.
Does anyone know if there is anyway to stop this happening, an option to stop Crystal printing more than say 100,000 records?
    Thanks,
    Alastair

Use the Record count in the record selection forumla or use a stored procedure.

  • Am I trying to print too many Contacts at once?

I have over 2000 contacts in my Address Book, and when I try to print I get the "Preparing" window forever. I can break it down to smaller groups, but I'm wondering if there's a limit to how many contacts Address Book can print in one pass. Any ideas?

You really can't. Try downloading them on your computer and sync. Next try restoring from backup.

  • Safari has problems displaying WAY TOO MANY pages.

For some time now, I've noticed that Safari simply cannot display certain pages. The first time I noticed this was on my MBP17 with a Snow Leopard (10.6.8) installation, using Safari 5.1.9. After a barage of Security Updates started creating a flurry of problems on this computer (including the Safari problem, as best I recall), I finally gave in and migrated (I can't really say upgraded) to Mountain Lion. It was my hope that this would cure the recent problems. It did not! After migrating to Mountain Lion (10.8.5) and Safari 6.0.5, I still see the same thing that I get on my MBP15 that remains on OS 10.6.8 and Safari 5.1.9.
The problem I see is that Safari simply can't display certain pages. Many of them are on Apple's own website. For a while, I just thought Apple was creating pages with no content. It wasn't until I got to a page that had menus that wouldn't work (at all), that I decided to try the same page with Firefox. To my surprise, the page displayed perfectly on Firefox. I pasted the source code from pages displayed in both the Safari and Firefox into separate BBEdit documents and compared the source. It was absolutely identical! Presumably, therefore, the problem occurs with JavaScript modifications to the DOM. While it's easy to cut n' paste the DOM from Firefox, I've yet to find an easy way to do this with Safari's debugger. So, I can't tell exactly where the problem starts. Besides... Apple just doesn't pay me enough to debug their code for them!
The follow screenshots show the results of the attempt to display http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ in both browsers. (I was on this page trying to figure out a solution to the error message "an unknown error occurred (-42408)" that I keep getting in iTunes... a whole different can of worms!)
As displayed in Safari (or as NOT displayed in Safari)...
    As displayed in Firefox...
This problem crops up on many sites and is rather unpredictable. The thing that amazes me most is how often it occurs on Apple's own site! And since I see it on two different computers, with different OS and Safari installations, I can't possibly be the only one who sees this. I did just try it on my iPad 1 and the same page displays fine. Do I just need to go back to an even older OS version on my MBPs? Maybe OS 8?
Anybody have an idea what might be going on? I have spent the entire past week debugging iOS7, iTunes, Safari and Mtn Lion. After over 34 years on Apple products, I'm just about ready to go buy a PC!! Maybe even a CPM box.
    PLEASE HELP!
PS: Just to make it WORSE... I have tried to enter this several times and keep getting an error. I finally had to switch to Firefox and try again. What the HEXX has happened to Apple???

From the Safari menu bar, select
    Safari ▹ Preferences ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
If you wish, you may be able to salvage the errant extension by uninstalling and reinstalling it. Its settings will revert to their defaults. If the extension still causes a problem, remove it permanently or refer to its developer for support.

  • Printing too many copies

I have a g5 printing to an HP 5550 with OS X 10.3.9. I've downloaded the most recent driver from hp and installed it after removing the printer.
The g5 prints the same copy over and over to the printer, but doesn't do that with any other printer. No other client, mac or pc, prints multiple copies when attempting to print one.
Please let me know if you have any troubleshooting thoughts on this. Other than removing and re adding the printer do macs cache other printer information that I can reset?
    Thank you

    No good, Jack!
You could try this little utility and see if it can reset what you need. It can empty a cache and do a few other things besides.
