PrintStackTrace does not show up in any log

I have some printStackTrace on some exceptions that i catch. I am unable to find then
printed in any of the log files. I have checked ny options on the weblogic console.
On the Logging tab I have under debugging
Log Remote Exceptions
Instrument Stack Traces both these options are checked.
On the General under Logging I have both the checvk boxes checked and the
Stdout severity threshold:Error.
I am running 6.1 sp1.
Can anybody help me.

I am running the server in the background, I do not have access to the console. I
can redirect all the console output to a file , but would not like to use that. My
goal is to get the print stack trace printed in the weblogic.log, so that i can see
it whenever it happens and not really monitor it.
Also you have broughtup a good point, the view server log is also not very helpful
as it shows only the first 500 messages and not even the last 500. May be there is
some setting.
Can somebody help us..... bea folks....

Ipad does not show usage times any more

Hi, my ipad no longer shows the usage times of itself. It merely shows a '-' mark where usage and standby times are normally shown.
This may have occurred after the ios6 update but I cannot be sure.
Any ideas on what the problem is or how it can be fixed?

Hi guys,
I've since fixed the problem.
Martha I recommend that you download an app for battery charging so that it will tell you the percentage that the iPad is charged. Then charge the iPad fully and as it reaches 100% it should display 0 mins in both boxes.
I did a restore prior to this but it did not seen to have any effect.
I'm not even sure why the iPad went like this but mine has been fine since.

Slideshow 1.4.7 won't work in TB 24.4.0, does not show beside attachments, any idea's

Running w8.0 just installed Slideshow 1.4.7 to view multiple jpg images in an attachment in Thunderbird 24.4.0. As I understand it Slideshow should show beside the attachments, it's not there. Have tried numerous reboots etc but still not happening. An ideas?

Hi Matt, Yes I have expanded the attachments (there are 15 in this particular email) & there is nothing other than the jpg images. Slideshow is in the "Extensions" and appears to be ready to go, just not showing up in attachments.

Iphoto does not show map (places) - any ideas?

Go into Safari's cookies and delete all cookies with Google in the name. Close and relaunch both Safari and iPhoto. Also log ot of any Google account you may be logged into online.
If you have a Google account you will have to repeat the cookie deleting every time you log into that account.

My Menu bar has disappeared and it does not show up in any menu for toolbars

I must have hit a wrong shortcut or something.
My bookmarks bar and menu bar disappeared.
I was able to restore the bookmarks bar in customize the usual way.
But in every place I can get the little toolbar menu, it only shows the Bookmarks bar, not the the Menu bar
How can I get my menu bar back???

Your printer is on the list, so it should (eventually) work. Go through the list of things to examine; for example:
Are you running the latest iOS (version 6.1.2)?
Is your printer running the latest firmware?

Create does not show up on any song when I play it in my music

Custom Inserted HTTP Header not showing up in Iplanet Logs

I have some iPlanet Enterprise/6.0 web servers sitting behind a LoadBalancer. The LoadBalancer is setup in an 'one-armed mode', and takes a client HTTP request passes it onto the server, but during this process, changes the client source IP to that of local static IP that the LoadBalancer has. Due to our setup we cannot change this.
By changing the client source IP to a local address, we have lost any useful user session tracking that was done by source IP.
To get around this, I have the LoadBalancer inserting an HTTP header with the client real source IP. Reading the NSAPI Programmer's Guide (Table 7-1 "http://docs.sun.com/source/816-5686-10/07_magnu.htm"), there is an option "%Req->headers.headername%" that can be used with 'flex-int' to log any header value.
My output from snoop looks as follows:

Works fine in Apache with:

Always nice to find resolution to one's own question.
Fix was to change the header value to all lower case.
From:
"%Req->headers.OrigClientAddr%"
To:
"%Req->headers.origclientaddr%"

My Book does not show up in the iBooks Store.

My latest eBook: Light Shadows & Color does not show up when I search for it the iBoosk store. It is under the catagory Photography. But when I seach for it under photography it does not show up. Any ideas what I may be doing wrong?

Depends on how long it has been in the store. Have you tried search by authors name - as you entered it in iTunes Producer when uploading?

Applet does not show up in console main page

When I use the Microsoft IE 5.00, the applet in the first console page index.jsp does not show up. Any suggestions ?

An addition - it's looks like in the source that a jsp-file is used that is called "sidebar.jsp". But when I do a search on the harddisk the sidebar.jsp is not there. Is this generated ? Why does not the sidebar menu show up ?

Data manager package log does not show Global variables!!

We are using BPC 10 sp14 Microsoft version with SQL Server 2008 R2. We are seeing an issue where datamanager package log does not show the Global variables defined in package script whereas in BPC 7.5 Global variable were visible in package log.
Please let us know is this behavior changed in BPC 10?

Sd card reader does not show up as a external hard drive any were on my mac

i have a sd card reader that is run through usb. i plug it in whit my card in it that has files on it but the driver does not show up any were not on the desktop not any were ive gone through the trouble shooting on apples sight but no luck. any one have a idea?
the weird part about it is that it worked a few weaks ago no problem like i would just plug it in and it would show up on my desktop

It seems that Intel Macs have problems seeing (the media in) some USB storage devices.
For example I have a Zynet CR-T1-U28 8-in-1 memory card reader. It works A-OK on an old Powerbook running 10.3.9, and on several PPC-based newer machines running 10.4.10. The cards I've tried in it mount immediately and show up on the desktop (and iPhoto starts automatically if appropriate).
However none of the FAT-formatted cards I've tried will mount on any Intel-based machine I've tried it on (all have been running 10.4.10).
Here's how it shows up on my Macbook:

Interestingly one kind of card I've tried, a Sandisk M2 card, the 64 MB card shown on the powerbook, mounts A-OK when it's in my Z710i phone and is connected via USB to the macbook. At first I thought the card reader could be at fault, but given the number of (admittedly vague) reports I've seen here today about similar problems with other devices I'm more inclined to blame some driver or kernel problem on Intel macs.
The following showed up for the first time ever in the console log during today's test to get the System Profiler data:

In the iBooks application on the Mac, there is a checkbox to sync highlights and notes across devices.
I don't see a similar setting in the iBooks app on my iPad. It may require iBooks on the Mac as a mediator.

Yes, iBooks includes built-in Highlight and Note features. Highlight any word or passage of text within a book. You can also create a Note from your highlighted selection. Review your Highlights and Notes by tapping the Table of Contents button and then tapping Bookmarks. Highlights and Notes appear in their own section under Bookmarks.
