Private viewing

Where do I find private viewing using iOS 8,  Previously when opening Safari there was  a "private" on the bottom of the screen.  I can no longer get a blank screen... There is always a web site...  The last one I was at always appears,  thanks.

Click the double box icon at the top right of the window. You'll see that choice in the new window.

  • Create a private view for Task List in SharePoint 2013

    I have a Task List, How can I Create a Private View that every user can see Only his Tasks, and Sync it to his outlook (sync only his tasks) , no one can see or sync tasks not assigned to him?

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to limit view permission on particular users in SharePoint.
    There is no out of the box way to achieve it in SharePoint.
    CodePlex has a good tool SharePoint 2013 Column & View Permission, it have some features as below, we can use it.
    Features:
    Column Permission
    - Hide or Read Only Columns in a List Forms (New/Edit/Display)
    - Hide Columns in Views
    - Hide Columns in Alert Me Emails
    - Specify the permission for Users, SharePoint Groups or Active Directory Groups
    View Permission
    - Disable Views
    - Automatically Disable Views in Custom WebPart Zones
    - Specify the permission for Users, SharePoint Groups or Active Directory Groups

  • Passwords cannot be saved in version 22. worked fine before the upgrade. I am NOT in the "Private Viewing" setting. It just will NOT save passwords.

    The "dropdown for "Save passwords is NOT grayed out. Clicking the "save password box does NOTHING. I am running Windows XP SP3. The previous version (21) worked fine. Version 223 does not allow for passwords to be saved. I am NOT in the Private viewing mode. The ""Remember Passwords for sites" box under Tools/ Options/ Security is checked. "remember History" shows on Tools/ Options/ Privacy. As I said: Save passwords is no longer working with version 22. It worked on version 21. No settings were made with this upgrade. I am on another computer that does NOT have version 22 on it. I refuse to upgrade this computer.

    This does NOT work either. If you are not running Windows XP SP# and Firefox 22 please do not make these suggestions. These two "suggestions" do NOT work either. The problem is inherent with Firefox release 22. It will NOT allow the saving of passwords. Again: if you are not running Windows XP SP3 and Firefox 22 please do not offer these "suggestions"....

  • Import of Private View cannot be resolved

    I have a web dynpro component I wrote a while ago.  I just pulled it down from NWDI.  Created the project.  Build works great.  Even made changes and checked in and activiated.  All things work.
    Here's the trouble.  When I look at the Implementation tab on my DetailView my private view's import cannot be resolved.
    import spiritaero.com.cats.emp.wdp.IPrivateDetailView;
    Message says "The import spiritaero.com.cats.emp.wdp cannot be resolved"
    How do I fix this?
    Diane

    Diane,
    Some times, all the class files may not ge generated when you import the project into your NWDS. Reload + Rebuild the project. If still errors are there, close the project and open again. Hopefully it will generate all the classes and your problem will be solved.

  • Changing a private view to public

    Not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question ~
    Is there a way to change a private list view to a public one?  And vice-versa....

    Hello Julie,
    Based on my experience, this cannot be achieved without custom code.
    If programmatic solutions are accepted, you may find some help in Development queue of SharePoint.

  • Private viewing of DPS Apps

    I have a client who wants to develop several DPS Single Edition apps, however; he wants to restrict its distribution to only the people that he chooses to see it. Yes, I know you can do this in Adobe Content Viewer, however; he wants his own app logo. Is there a way to send the actual app file to other people for them to install it on their own iPads?

    You can get DPS Enterprise edition and Apple Developer Enterprise to create Enterprise signed apps which can be used for internal distribution. If you can get this, it's pretty easy to create the apps and you do not need to add any UDID's for distribution.
    In case you do not wish to buy DPS Enterprise, there is a complicated and time consuming way, that you need to add UDID's of the iPads you need to distribute app to in you Mobile Provisioning certificate and use either Creative Cloud/SE to create apps using that certificate.

  • I have 2monitors, Firefox reopens windows on wrong monitor when i exit private view

    There are much of firefox windows on every screen.

    It's a bug. It happened to me, and to many others. You can search the discussions for "external monitor mirror display projector" and see some of the posts. I haven't seen any work-around yet.
    Go to Apple's bug report page and add your input. Maybe eventually it will get repaired.

  • Private Reuse and Query views in HANA

    When you create custom views (models) how would you classify as private, reuse and Query views?
    In SAP provided views they classified the views into Private, reuse and query views.. we would like to categorize our views in the same way. Take a look at the attachment for how SAP provided views are classified.
    thanks

    Hi Vaithi,
    This categorization of views is in SAP HANA Live, and functionalities are as below.
    Private views are abstraction layer for SAP tables. These views are used in Re-use views. Private views cannot be modified.
    Re-use views are built on top of Private views and we can use Re-use views to build Query views.
    Query views are created on top of Re-use views and we use Query views for reporting in reporting tools.
    In general when we create models, we don't categorize this way because we use Attribute views, Analytic views and Calculation views according to our requirement. But in HANA Live, all models are calculation views and hence they are divided into separate categories.
    Are you planning to categorize models created by you or copying the HANA Live views and want to classify them?

    Chandu.

  • How do I set up internal and external views in DNS

    Setting up a test SNL10.6.8 server behind airport extreme.
    Standalone server to run public DNS, iCal, Contacts and Web
    I would like to include multiple views in etc/named.conf with statement match-clients{any;}; for public view and match-clients{127.0.0.1/32;10.0.0.0/8;}; for private view.  Server Admin won't let me do this.
    I have two questions.
    1.  Can I effectively secure this setup.
    2. How do I do it?   Do I comment out ' include "etc/dns/publicView.conf.Apple" ' in etc/named.conf and add my own two views or do I use Server Admin to mangae the public view and zones and manually manage the internal zone?
    Thank you for your help and advice.

    Linux and the BSDs (among other choices) are the full-power, deep-end-of-the-pool roll-your-own solutions. They're excellent choices for a number of application and network services configurations, and for cases with complex or tailored requirements.  The target market is tweakable and easily customized.  Mac doesn't aim there.
    Having used and managed BIND on both Mac OS X Server and on other (non-Unix) servers, managing it on Mac OS X Server is simpler, though (as is often the case) you have to manage the server the way Apple expects you to.   The other servers I work with toss you into the BIND configuration files with a text editor, and while that's entirely feasible, it's not what I'd call user-friendly nor simple.  (See first paragraph.)
    Running DNS at public servers (such as your ISP) and running a second set of DNS servers on your LAN is easily within reach of the Server Admin tool, and it means you don't have to be delegated, etc., for the public views, and it means your ISP owns securing your external DNS.
    If you're accustomed to hand-managing and tweaking your DNS configurations, then Server Admin probably won't do all what you want, if you want to use any of the features of BIND9 past the subset that Server Admin allows you access to.  The question then becomes whether Server Admin does enough of what you need.
    Running iCal via VPN is typical and folks that are not on the VPN can use the web interfaces or related, if you're not offering an "open" iCal connection through your firewall.
    One other oddity you might want to consider.  Last I checked, BIND9 was also present in client.  Hand-managed.  That might give you a different option here.

  • Flex fields in default BPM view 11.1.1.3.0

    Hi
    I Jdeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 I have created a SOA composite with a BPEL flow containing a Human task. In this task I have added data fields (flex fields) which I'm able to show in the Oracle BPM worklist using the Adminstration menu option and adding the flex fields.
    I'm able to create a private view with these new flex fields now showing as column in the BPM worklist.
    But when trying to define these filels in the public views they do not show up in the definition page as available/selected columns. I cannot find anywhere in the documentation where it says that flex fields only can be used in private BPM worklist views. So how do I add a flex field to a public view?
    I do not want all my BPM worklist users to have to create private views themself. I want the new flex fields to be shown in the default worklist columns for all my users by default. Can this be done?
    Best regards
    Johnny

  • In the View Responses functionality

    In the View Responses section of a form, can I make the options for a datapoint a dropdown field rather than a free form field?

  • Use of public views for metadata

    Hi,
    I am trying to create metadata around source to target data lineage (not using the OWB provided metadata browsers). I have used some of the public views (with sql)to produce most of this. At this point however I am trying to "bring across" the original source names (as they exist on soruce systems being ETL'd by us). I noticed there are business name columns in the all_iv_columns and all_iv_tables views.
    My Q's:
    How does this field get populated ?
    Is it the right place/reliable to capture the original source table/column names ?
    Is there any doc (other than the view definitions with a brief column description for each) that would answer some of my questions above ?
    Is there anything else I should be considering to create my "custom metadata queries" ?
    Thank you in advance
    Anthony

    Anthony,
    1. How does this field get populated ?
    This field is populated from a private view cmpelement_v. For example, the field Business_name is the logical name and table_name is the physical name.
    2. Is it the right place/reliable to capture the original source table/column names ?
    Physical names are more reliable than logical names for lineage because physical names are unique. I suggest using public views instead of private views because there is documentation.
    Is there any doc (other than the view definitions with a brief column description for each) that would answer some of my questions above ?
    No, the Public API Guide is the only available guide.
    Have you considered using the Warehouse Builder Browser as a stand alone browser? It is no longer required to have iAS server to use both the Runtime Audit Browser and the Design browser. Check the Warehouse Builder install guide for details.

  • Model-View-Presenter - help

    Hi,
    I recently read about Model-View-Presenter on Martin Fowler's website, and elsewhere. I think I understand the idea...
    The view just displays the GUI components..events fired from the View are delegated to a Presenter. The presenter then deals with the model and updates the View accordingly. Sound about right?
    Ok, so I learn best by example..and I haven't found any code samples yet, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Below is my code...
    Model
    * the model to be displayed in a View
    public class Album {
         private boolean isClassical;
         private String composer;
         public String getComposer() {
              return composer;
         public void setComposer(String composer) {
              this.composer = composer;
         public boolean isClassical() {
              return isClassical;
         public void setClassical(boolean isClassical) {
              this.isClassical = isClassical;
    View - interface
    import java.awt.event.ActionListener;
    * An interface which defines the methods needed by a presenter
    public interface View {
         public boolean isClassical();
         public void setClassical(boolean b);
         public boolean isComposerEnabled();
         public void setComposerEnabled(boolean b);
         public void addClassicalChangeListener(ActionListener al);
         public void showView();
    View - implementation
    import java.awt.Dimension;
    import java.awt.event.ActionListener;
    import javax.swing.JCheckBox;
    import javax.swing.JFrame;
    import javax.swing.JPanel;
    import javax.swing.JTextField;
    * A an implementation of the View interface.  It shows a checkbox
    * and a textfield.
    public class MyView extends JFrame implements View {
         private JCheckBox checkboxClassical;
         private JTextField textfieldComposer;
         private MyPresenter mp;
         public MyView() {
              checkboxClassical = new JCheckBox("Classical");
              textfieldComposer = new JTextField();
              textfieldComposer.setPreferredSize(new Dimension(100, 20));
              textfieldComposer.setEnabled(false);
              JPanel p = new JPanel();
              p.add(checkboxClassical);
              p.add(textfieldComposer);
              add(p);
              setSize(600, 400);
         public void addClassicalChangeListener(ActionListener al) {
              checkboxClassical.addActionListener(al);
         public void setPresenter(MyPresenter mp) {
              this.mp = mp;
         public void setClassical(boolean b) {
              checkboxClassical.setSelected(b);
         public boolean isClassical() {
              return checkboxClassical.isSelected();
         public void setComposerEnabled(boolean b) {
              textfieldComposer.setEnabled(b);
         public boolean isComposerEnabled() {
              return textfieldComposer.isEnabled();
         public void showView() {
              setVisible(true);
    Presenter
    import java.awt.event.ActionEvent;
    import java.awt.event.ActionListener;
    * A presenter for a View.  When the "classical" fires
    * an ActionEvent, the "composer" component is enabled or disabled.
    public class MyPresenter {
         private Album album;
         private View view;
         public MyPresenter(Album album, View viewVal) {
              this.album = album;
              this.view = viewVal;
              view.addClassicalChangeListener(new ActionListener() {
                   public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) {
                        view.setClassical(view.isClassical());
                        view.setComposerEnabled(view.isClassical());
              view.showView();
    }and here is a simple Main to tie it togehter.
    * Ties together the M-V-P
    public class Main {
         public static void main(String[] args) {
              Album al = new Album();
              al.setClassical(false);
              MyView myView = new MyView();
              MyPresenter mp = new MyPresenter(al, myView);
              myView.setPresenter(mp);
    }Ok, the idea is this. The GUI shows a checkbox and a textfield. basically, if the checkbox is selected the textfield is enabled and can be typed into. If the checkbox is not selected, the textfield is disabled. From the model point of view, if isClassical is false, then no composer can be defined.
    So, is my code following the pattern? Does anyone have any simple code to contribute as an example? For some reason is just seems weird to me that I would have an interface define a bunch of methods that the Presenter can call. And I have to create the Model and View which get passed to the presenter, and then I have to set the presenter on the view....it just seems weird to me.
    Any comments, suggestions, examples??
    Thanks for your time and contributions.

    The other information didnt answer my questions. The response was mixing the idea of MVC instead of MVP, and then the response discussed what they thought was wrong with MVP and why they use a different model. I am looking for help on understanding the pattern more, also for someoen (who knows about MVP) to look at my sample code and help me understand what I did right/wrong.
    Thanks.

  • ODI Reverse Views Issue...

    Hi All,
    We are connecting to schema 'A' on an Oracle db using ODI and trying to access/reverse engineer views from schema 'B'. These are private views and schema 'A' has select permissions on the private views on schema B.
    we are able to see and query these private views using oracle sql developer but not able to reverse engineer into ODI .Is it possible to reverse these views??Kindly let me know if there is any work-around that we can use to bring theses views into ODI..
    Regards,
    John

    The schema you use to connect on the dataserver where are located these objects should have a grant select on it.
    If you have a schema B with select rights on objects from schema A, you can only access it within ODI if B is the schema you use to access the dataserver. If you use an ODI_TEMP schema or such to connect, you should also grant select rights to this schema.
    For the views, check that "Views" is ticked in the Reverse Engineering tab :

  • SAP HANA Live Views for ERP

    Hi Experts,
    We are planning to implement SAP HANA Live for ERP operational reporting, I saw there are 786 views delivered with this which includes -
    1) Query views
    2) Reuse Views
    3) Private Views
    Query views always contains the word "Query" at the end of the view name which helps in identifying it but I am unable to distinguish between reuse and private views. Can anyone tell me how do we distinguish whether a view is a reuse view or a private view?
    Thanks in anticipation.
    Regards,
    Victor

    Hi Ramakrishnan
    How do you get access to the 'VDM properties' Tab ?
    I don't have it on my own HANA Studio.
    I guess this tab is also the good one to assign a view to the proper product/ module hierarchy in the HANA Live Browzer.
    Currently, all my custom view fall into the "N/A - Undefined" section, which is highly frustrating !
    Is this view dedicated to SAP developpers?
    Otherwise do you know how to get access to it.
    Thanks.
    Best Regards
