Privoxy js_events filter not working

I have the following code in my user.action file:
{ my_filter }
where my_filter is a set of filters, including the +filter{js_events}. However, javascript is not blocked or edited out. Why is this?
And yes, I actually do want to break 60% of the sites on the internet by disabling javascript. I don't need it and I don't want it, I usually visit sites whose majority conent is text, not fancy pull-down menus, etc. I'm paranoid, and javascript can be a security threat. I don't want nor do I need a lecture on why I should just forget it and use javascript. I simply want my question answered.

Lens Correction filter not working?

I upgraded to CS5 specifically to use the auto lens correction feature (primarily for barrel and pincushion distortion on my Canon zoom lenses). Now I find that:
Even though the camera back (5D Mark II) and lens information is included with an image, the lens correction filter requires me to manually select the back and lens.
Several of my lenses are not even included in the data base, even though they're very popular lenses (e.g., EF16-35mm 2.8 L USM II and EF 70-300mm DO IS USM). I realize the data base is to be enlarged, but these seem like inexplicable omissions. (And I have no desire or time to create my own profiles.)
The PDF instruction manual for CS5 offers no help, and I don't see this issue addressed in the forums. I'm hoping someone will be able to advise me on how to make this function work.

   If the body choices were in the format of "full frame, 1.3 crop, 1.6
crop, etc.", it would be clear that the specific model didn't matter.
However, this would create its own problems since many people wouldn't
understand the concept of the crop factor for their camera.
   The fact that the 5D Mark II exists in the pull-down menu as a discrete
choice in addition to the 1Ds Mark III implies that there is a difference
between the two. Even if there is no functional difference in this context,
it would avoid confusion if the actual body from the EXIF information could
always be the default selection.

I understand the capture-filter values are different from display-filter;
for example :
ethanalyzer local interface inbound-hi capture-filter 'ip proto 89' limit-captured-frames 0
I tried "proto 89", "proto 0x59", and te same with ' ' instead of " ";
none is rejected but no frame is captured
If I use "ospf" as the capture-filter, I get the following normal since "ospf" is a display-filter :
tshark: Invalid capture filter: "ospf"!
That string looks like a valid display filter; however, it isn't a valid
capture filter (parse error).
Note that display filters and capture filters don't have the same syntax,
so you can't use most display filter expressions as capture filters.
See the User's Guide for a description of the capture filter syntax.

i think i solve the problem: to make vlan filtering to work on 6500, i've added:

ALV Filter : Not working for a text field - Strange problem

Dear All,
I have a Z-program where the ALV filter is not working on a particular text field.
The output on that text field is as below :
ABCD
JKLM
YYZZ
ABCD
JKLM
ABCD
JKLM
YYZZ
YYZZ
When we try to filter on YYZZ, it gives blank list. But for other options given abobe it works fine.
I know it is because of the negative sign , but how can we over come this problem ?

Hi Sandip,
Use 'LOWERCASE' in the fieldcatalog.
For the particular text field when you are appending the Fieldcatalog structure to the Fieldcatalog Table
( Suppose LS_FIELDCAT)
Then check the LOWERCASE field.
(LS_FIELDCAT-LOWERCASE = 'X' )
This will serve the purpose.

Query level filter not working in Webi report

Hi All,
I am using BOXI R3.1 (SP3), m facing one problem when refreshing Webi report on daily basis. I am using three query level filter as a prompt, but i checked one filter is not working then i need to reapply this filter and rest 2 filter is working fine.
Can anyone suggest me why problem is coming?

Hi,
Prompts are interactive, and come from the query panel. Filters are not interactive, and are set on the report or block. There are also input controls, which are interactive filters
1. Select the universe in the list of universes to open the Query Panel.
2. Drag the Year object to the Result Objects pane.
3. Drag the Number of Guests object to the Query Filters pane and create a report filter that restricts Number of Guests to greater than n.
4. Click Combined Query.
The Combined Query pane appears in the bottom left of the Query panel with the two queries joined by UNION.
5. Click on the second query and remove the Year and Number of Guests objects.
6. Drag the Reservation Year object to the Result Objects pane.
7. Drag the Future Guests object to the Query Filters pane and create a report filter that restricts the future guests to greater than n.
8. Click Run Query.

Oil Paint Filter not working - CS6 - Can you help resolve this?

Can you help? The CS6 oil paint filter is not working. The error is: "The filter you were using encountered an unknown graphics processor error that caused an unexpected exit. Check the manufacturer's website for the latest software."
I have the latest graphics driver software. I have the latest update for CS6. I have followed various community support recommendations to no avail.
In the Advanced Graphics Processor settings (preference, performance) only "Basic" is available and I can't select (grayed out) "Use Graphics Processor to Accelerate computation" and can't select "use OpenCL".
My System: Windows 7 (64 bit), HP Pavilion dv6-3250us Notebook with Intel(R) High-Definition Graphics Driver.

You haven't installed the Photoshop updates -- you should be on 13.0.3 or 13.1.1, not 13.0.0.
Oil Paint uses the GPU, and requires a decent GPU.
Your GPU doesn't support many of the features needed by the Oil Paint filter, and barely supports any of the GPU features in Photoshop (notice that it does not support OpenCL, or Normal or Advance mode for GPU drawing).

I am working on OBIEE 11.1.1.3 and having problem problem linking 2 analisys with action link
The test case is:
I have 2 attribute columns on a dimension
1. Conto 1 Code
2. Conto 1 Dsc (in RPD i set up the property Descritor ID of -> Conto 1 Code)
3. Conto 2 Code
4. Conto 2 Dsc (in RPD i set up the property Descritor ID of -> Conto 2 Code)
5. Conto Detail
and 1 measure on the fact table
1. Revenue (defined on RPD as simple sum)
On presentation layer i have the analisys:

The First one using as Criteria: Conto 1 Dsc | Conto 2 Dsc | Revenue
The layout is a table with sub-total on Conto 1 Dsc
On Revenue i created an action link to the second analisys containing

Criteria: Conto 1 Dsc | Conto 2 Dsc | Conto Detail | Revenue
Filters: Conto 1 Code (is prompted) | Conto 2 Code (is prompted)
This pair of analisys are working fine.
Then i created a second pair of analisys as:

Using Calculated group \ Items i created a numerous set of sub-totals
On Revenue i created an action link to the second analisys containing

Filters: Conto 2 Code (is prompted)
This pair of analisys are not working correctly. When i drill from first analisys to second one the Conto 2 Code filter is not used.
Replacing in the second analisys Conto 2 Code (is prompted) with Conto 2 Dsc (is prompted) a filter is being generated on the drill but it's using the Conto 2 Code value and the analisys ends with no results.

Filter not working for session timeout

I am working on a struts application in portal. I want to logout of the application when a user does not perform any action, for say 30 mins. For this, i am using a filter and defined the filter as follows in web.xml.

Thx for ur reply, Here i am using firstRequest as a counter variable. when the session is new and firstRequest is 1, it means that the session has expired and new session started and this is where i am redirecting to another page. The problem is, i think is mainly because of the sendRedirect i am using there in the code. I think sendRedirect will not work in portal, because when i test this application locally , it is working fine. But when i deploy it in portal, i am getting the error. Can you suggest me an alternative for sendredirect in portal.Even i tried with forward but no use.

Aspect ratio filter not working properly

I am running LR3.5 on Mac OS 10.6.8 and recently discovered that the aspect ratio filter is not working when used on folders created a few years ago. Specifically, a great many images shot in landscape mode are included with the portrait mode filter instead of in the landscape mode filter. This is not happening with more recent folders. At least one of my camera bodies has been used for images in older and newer folders so I do not think it is the camera's fault. I should also add that the files are saved in the dng format.
I do not know how long this has been going on, since I rarely use the aspect ratio filter. It is even possible that this happened when I converted my catalog from LR2 to LR3. The integrity of the catalog is checked each time I back up, which is whenever I exit. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

So the metadata is properly showing the images as landscape. Somewhere along the way LR got out of sync, perhaps moving images into a new catalog? As long as there are no portrait Crops on any of these files they should filter properly after resynching the DNG metadata. There have been other posts with this same issue and a bug report to Adobe. Not sure it has been actually fixed though:

Email Filter - level 1 notification filter not working

I run a BES 5.0.2 system with 95 users and many rely on filters to forward alerts from a specific address and flag them as level 1.
Messages Options\Email Filters
Worked like a charm previously, but recently has stopped working.
I've tried every which way, and the phones fail to recognize new filters for level 1 messages.
We recently migrated our BES system to new hardware, but I don't know when this stopped working so don't know if\how it could be related.

Filter not showing on BES & Vice versa - seems like something isn't synching. Email and calendar synch AOK.
Update - Interesting - On the BES server if I create the filter it works, but doesn't synch down to show on the BlackBerry. If created on the BlackBerry, it doesn't work and also doesn't sync up to the BES server.

I opened an incident with RIM and after an hour of troubleshooting have partially narrowed it down and resolved the issue on my device - now for the other 90+.
We did 2 things at once - changed to default policy, and secondly deleted the desktop sync and desktop cmime service books, then repushed them out from BES. This fixed it.
Tech said I could push service books to all users, but didn't advise as to a way to delete service books via BAS.
I checked a number of users and their service books are showing our old SRP info - so after the migration the new service books look like they haven't pushed down.

Servlet Filter not working in Oracel9iAS(9.2.0.3)

Hi,
May i know what cause the servlet filter not workinng in Oracle9iAS? Is there any library files missing? I have tried deploy the war file in Tomcat but is working fine but when i try to deploy in Oracle9iAS, the application seems like can't call the servlet filter.
Please advice.

I'm not exactly sure what version you are using.
Servlet Filters were introduced in Servlet 2.3 which was part of J2EE 1.3.
Oracle9iAS 9.0.2.3 is J2EE 1.2 compatible .
Oracle Application Server 10g 9.0.4.x and 10.1.2 is J2EE 1.3 compatible
Oracle Application Server 10g 10.1.3 is J2EE 1.4 compatible.
So the problem could be that the version of the product you are using does does not support the version of the servlet spec that covers Servlet Filters.
Can you upgrade to/install the 10.1.2 release as a minimum?

Table date filter not working properly

Hi OTN,
I have noticed that table date filter not always working properly.
When I copy actual value from column outputText to column filter and hit Enter - I see an empty table.

I suspect the problem to lie among date formats.
But I tried to delete convertDateTime from outputText or add it under filter inputDate. Nothing helped.

Well, OK. I think I'd better have 2 attributes: truncated date for filter and full date with time for edit.
What is an attribute type for datetime?

Excel Filter not working in Bex

Hi All
I have a report in Bex where I have a date field called basic date. Now when user is trying to select some basic function like greter than or less than a particular date(When we apply filter in excel we have the optioon Custom where so many option like greter than, less than, equals are available). It is giving blank value. I tried to change the format to date but still not working.
Please suggest.

Hi Sunny,
The problem occurs if you set your auto filter in the wrong cell. I have found the easiest way to get auto filter to trigger in the correct cell is to click on a blank cell (i.e. outside of the analysis grid) and then switch on auto filter in Excel as normal. You should find that the filter icons appear in a different set of cells and when you use them they will contain the values in the columns.

GPP item-level targeting filter not working as expected

I am trying to set the Internet Explorer homepage via user Group Policy Preferences (GPP) registry setting for a very specific group of users. I am using item-level targeting to accomplish this but am having trouble getting the logic working as expected.
Here is my item-level targeting filter:
The user is a member of the security group CONTOSO\FireRescueDept
AND this collection is false
The user is a member of the security group CONTOSO\EmergencyManagementDept
OR the user is a member of the security group CONTOSO\PublicSafetyDivision
The user in question is a member of both CONTOSO\FireRescueDept and CONTOSO\EmergencyManagementDept. I believe this means that this particular registry GPP setting should NOT apply to the user in question and that is the outcome I desire.
Here is how I'm thinking about it:
The user is a member of CONTOSO\EmergencyManagementDept; therefore, "The user is a member of the security group CONTOSO\EmergencyManagementDept" evaluates to TRUE.
Since the other item in the collection is connected with the boolean OR operator, the collection evaluates to TRUE regardless of the evaluation of "The user is a member of the security group CONTOSO\PublicSafetyDivision."
The item-level targeting filter is looking for the collection to evaluate to FALSE. Since the collection has evaluated to TRUE, the evaluation "This collection is false" is FALSE.
Because of the AND operator in front of "This collection is false", both "The user is a member of the security group CONTOSO\FireRescueDept" and "This collection is false" must evaluate to TRUE in order for the item-level targeting
filter to determine that the user in question to apply the GPP setting the filter is attached to. However, since "This collection is false" has already evaluated to FALSE, the filter as a whole should evaluate to FALSE and this GPP setting
should not apply.
However, according to gpresult it does apply.
Please advise. I want this particular setting to apply to users in the CONTOSO\FireRescueDept group unless they are a member of CONTOSO\EmergencyManagementDept and/or CONTOSO\PublicSafetyDivision.

In my experience, it DOES work with universal groups... Are you
suffering from token bloat? How many groups is the user a member of?

Dashboard problem-Filtes not working as per dashboard prompt

I have created one dashboard with prompt but the prompts are not working as selected values as per prompt are not getting filtered out
e.g. one of the prompt is "sales stage" if eventhough i select a particular sales stage it shows all results with no data filtering.

Hi,
In the detailed report you have to prompt the fields which you have added in the dashboard prompt(i.e. Click on edit filter option set the operator to "Is Propmted"), then only it will work.
