Pro Camera requires password entry on lock screen

Of course, as soon as it was available on my Lumia 925, I set the Nokia Pro Camera as the default app to launch when the camera button is pressed. I noticed though, that when the phone is locked, the Pro Camera app won't launch unless I enter the lock screen password. The default camera app did not require this, instead allowing you to take new pictures. Having to enter the password can be a spontaneity killer when the right shot presents itself.
Is this a 'feature' of Pro Camera, or is there some setting where I can change this behavior? If it is indeed a 'feature', please consider allowing access to the app without having to enter the lock screen password, just like the default camera app does.

Hi,
Unfortunately, there is no way to change this behaviour as of now. This is very frustrating and limits the startup time of ProCamera app, which can lead to some precious moments from getting missed!
I think this is a limitation of Windows Phone OS.

My son has a habit of disabling the "Require password after sleep or screen saver begins" setting whenever my wife lets him play a game on her account. I notice every other setting on the "Security & Privacy -> General" tab is protected by the lock on the lower left corner. I've never understood why this one is not. Because that setting is specific to the account currently logged in and doesn't potentially affect any others or the system itself, which is the level in general at which administrator or root access is required.

1. restore it to a backup you took before you put a password on
2. restore it to factory settings if there was a work around then the whole password thing would be rather pointless and security would be absent

Use the Settings app.
Settings > General > Passcode Lock > Enter the Passcode > Turn Off Passcode

No password on wake / lock-screen in 10.4.7

I did the update from 10.4.6 to 10.4.7 and now my MacBook Pro will not ask me for a password when waking from sleep or screen saver. Usually I have the Keychain menu visible and select "Lock Screen", but this also does not require a password. I've tried un-setting the preference and setting it again, but that does not work. Anyone had this happen before? How do I correct the issue?

OK... looks like its fixed. Here is what I did. Remove the following file from your Preferences folder:
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.security.plist
and place it on your desktop in case you want to restore it.
Log out of your user account and log back in. That did the trick for me and I have my password requirement back as normal.

Camera button not working from locked screen.

Recently I tried to take a photo from my locked screen. Usually I just double click my home button and the camera pops right up and I can take a picture. This time though, the camera icon does pop up, but when I go to click it the camera icon just "jumps" and will not open the camera option. It's very annoying for when I just want to take a picture, now I have to go through the motion of unlocking my phone and going to the camera. OH, also on the locked screen, the camera icon has two lines, both over and under it.
How can I fix this, is it in the settings somewhere?

Touch the camera icon and scroll all the way up. You do not have to double click the home button.

Camera no longer available on lock screen

I updated my iPhone yesterday and the camera was available immediately I turned the camera on. Today it's not there and I have to tripple click to get it. Is there a way to keep it there or a reason I now have to tripple click. The tripple click is a pointless waste of time and slows down access to the camera, partially defeating the object of putting it there in the first place. It also massively increases wear on the home button.

Cheers guys... Note that the behaviour is random. Sometimes when the lock screen is first displayed the camera shortcut is there, other times it isn't (

Xperia Z3 Compact camera error when starting from locked screen (symbol lock)

I'm a new owner of Xperia Z3 Compact and I have noticed a problem when launching camera. The app itself works perfectly well but when trying to launch camera from locked phone (screen locked with symbol) it shows only black screen with error message that camera app it unaccessible. After removing lock screen protection both camera symbol on lock screen and dedicated camera button works as intended. Is it supposed to be that way? On my previous phone I could launch camera app without unlocking screen but couldn't access any other parts of the phone. I'd love to have it working the same way here especially with the dedicated camera button.

You may need to perform a software repair using PC Companion.The process will erase all internal memory.You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 60% battery.
Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).
Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

With IOS 5, the camera should be available on the lock screen. It was only there once for a minute and hasn't been back since. Is there a setting for that? I have the iPhone 4.

Adobe Reader Pro 9 requires password for every user after seciurity updates?

Everytime I installe any Adobe Reader Pro seciurity updates like 9.4.3 and 9.4.4 on our Macs 10.6.6 and 10.6.7,
I had to input admin password for every user as reader is stoppng on install updates screen,
We have some hotmacs that are shared so it's a bit of a pain. Users don't have admin acess
to be able to install software on them.
How do I resolve this?
Here's what I tried. None of these things resolved the problem for me.
Repair disk permissions.
Restart the Mac.
Repair Adobe installation

Hi Sorry, the product in qusitons is Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.4.4 and 9.3.4 updates.
If you launch Acrobat Pro as the admin user, then authorise when requested, does that fix the problem for all users?
Or does this happen every time, for each user?
It does prompt for password for every user, thefore my flustration we have multiple editors using a Hotmac.
And we have to enter the password at least one time for every user after stupid seciurity update.
Presumably, Acrobat is trying to write to a location that Standard users don't have permission for.
Standard users don't have admin access to Mac but still I find adobe behevior very annoying.
I think this is normal enterpirse practise.
What happens if you allow write access to the Acrobat application folder and subcontents? Make sure you know what you're doing and how to restore it.
Would try this but still I would expect adobe to fix it updates.
