Hi 2 all i am new to BI .i got a prob while iam loading from r/3 to dso. actualLY in r/3 there is 9000 rec i put load to psa .THEN 10000 rec came to psa from therE i put load to dso .There I GOT ONLY 75OO rec this is my prob can any one hepltome its vey urgent

Hi Satish,
The problem you are saying may not be a problem actaully
Reasons of your observation:
1.Firstly ,where did u check the no. of records??Is the loading delta..then why should no.of records be the 9000???(only new/changed records come in delta)
2.Now...your observation can happen in three cases:
a.Your functionmodule which is used in extraction may be having some filter criteria
b.Your Infopackage has some selection condition
c.Your Infopackage is loading delta request
d.Now your DTP which is loading to target is having some filter
e.Your transformation/update rules etc having routine to filter records..
It is never mandatory to have transferred records same as added records.In some cases the transferred records can be greater than added records..(filter)
or in some cases transferred records can be less than added records(appending data to result package)

My prob is that when i create the datasource for this in bi 7.0.in the fields tab only one time i can enter 0currency . and rest of fields are left alone . and when i do the transformation there is no rule linked to it

Shuffle probs, charging, loading, syncing

I have an eMac with OS10.3.9 and iTunes 7.
Am I right in thinking that I must have OS10.4 and iTunes 9 or later to make the 3rd gen shuffle play tunes?
This 3rd gen shuffle does not mount into iTunes
I dragged and dropped a Play list onto the shuffle and it loaded and showed the list, but when I tried to play the list I got a droud saying "Please us iTunes to sync to this iPod"
I bought a NanoStyle (similar to the iPOd Nano but much cheaper) I dragged and dropped Three Playlists (Jazz, Pop, Classic and a Greek language course on. I had no problems charging it (the 3rd gen shuffle has been at it for 7hrs with a blinking orange light) and all the playlists workerd a treat.
I have two lanyard shuffles and two aple crocodile shuffles and they were no problem to charge and load and I also have two no-name shuffles - they all work a treat.
Why do the Phds at apple make such a cods of what should be a simple mp3 player that is backward and forward compatible? Or is it greed? Yes. you can use the shuffle provided you upgrade - and if I do upgrade will my other shuffles work in the new upgrade environment?

When the shuffle's light is blinking, it has nothing to do with battery status. So, after "5+ hours," it should be charged.
The blinking light means DO NOT DISCONNECT. Eject shuffle before physically disconnecting.
In the sidebar, under DEVICES, there is an Eject button to the right of the shuffle name.
NOTE: If the iTunes sidebar (along left side of window) is not visible, from the menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar.
If the shuffle is set to Manually manage music (or Enable disk use) on the shuffle's Summary screen, iTunes keeps the shuffle's disk mounted continuously, so the light continuously blinks. When you Eject the shuffle in iTunes (and leave it connected to USB), you should see that the light becomes "solid" with the color indicating battery status (green if fully charged).
Solid light means OK TO DISCONNECT.
If you use automatic syncing, so the shuffle is NOT set to Manually manage music (or Enable disk use), the light only blinks when iTunes is syncing the shuffle. At other times, iTunes keeps the shuffle's disk unmounted and the light is solid. And you do not need to Eject the shuffle before disconnecting.

Prob in loading data into DSO

Hi All,
I am loading the transaction data into DSO and it is loaded successfully till New Data table.....but when activating that data the icon for request for reporting is shown but the request is showing red....When I click on QM status, it says the request is (partially) activated and no further QM action possible.....what could be the error?

Hi,
There are a couple of places where you can see the activation progress.
1) To start with SM37 job log > (give BI_PROCESS_ODSACTIVAT or BI_ODSA*)
and it should give you the details about the activation job. If its active make sure that the job log is getting updated at frequent intervals. If its completed check the log for ODS activation.
2) For very huge number of records SM37 job log may not get update frequently. In that case you have a workaround.
Go to contents > Active Data table > No. of entries > This will keep on increasing at frequent intervals.
3) SM66 > Get the job details (server name PID etc from SM37) and see in SM66 if the job is running or not. See if its accessing/updating some tables or is not doing anything at all.
4) Go to Activate button in Target > Request tab. Inside you can see a job log button. It will also show some log regarding the last activation.
5) If the Reporting icon has appeared near the request id in ODS. If it appears that may indicate that request is available for reporting
6) Check the request status in these tables.
Table RSICCONT table contains the requests that are actually loaded in a target.
Table RSMONICDP contains the request id of the fact table.
Table RSODSACTREQ contains information if an ODS is available for reporting/deleting inactive requests also possible.
Table RSODSACTUPDTYPE.

I am creating Translation which maps Vendor Legacy value to SAP Value but in doing this i am facing problem.
I am facing problem in uploading theValues from the excel file
(Converted to a tab delimited fie).
E.g In My lookup file I have value s as follows
Legacy Vendor   SAP Vendor
A101                   100028
A102                   100029
When I upload the file the records get duplicated in SAP.
OLD Value           NEW Value
A100                     100028
A100                    100029
A101                    100028
A101                    100029
A102                   100028
this is happening for few records after few records the values get mapped correctly.
Please let me know how I can correct the issue

Solved.

Fixed my prob (slow loading web pages and youtube streaming) so far :)

I dont know how and I dont know why this worked but I am flying now.
On iPad went to DNSServerlist.org down the bottom it gives you IP address and suggested DNS address's.
Here's where things are strange... I *changed my DNS to the IP address instead of the suggested DNS address*. Changed it in my wifi ISP details (noting old address ) clicked return/enter. Turned iPad off then on (restart) and tried youtube.... no lag and pre fetch? very quick.
Then tried Safari and it is running as fast as my Mac... back to normal surfing speed.
Dont know how/why and dont care if it is working lol.

Nvidia HW probs? [fixed]

For whatever reason, my nvidia card has decided not to talk to the drivers, or something. I can delete my xorg.conf, and I'm assuming use the riva driver, have no probs, everything loads, looks good. But when I try to load the nvidia driver, I get

Yup, I tried many variations on un/installing the kernel and re/loading the nvidia drivers/module with no luck. I had no clue what to do, so I just figured it'd be best to swap the card out. I ended up taking it out and putting it back in since I couldn't find the card I wanted to replace it with, and now it works. Somehow?

LVOOP Custom Probe Question

Hello,
I just read up a lot about custom probes and want to use them in a class system I set up. I wanted to have the parent class be the only one that actually has a probe, as it can call a method vi to get some dynamic information with no problem. I set it up, and the general probe of the parent class works great in the parent class, but it doesn't get called when I probe any of the child classes. Is this how it should be working? I already set the probe in the parent class properties to use the custom probe, and I don't want to have to make a bunch of child probes. I wanted to have the probe only be a part of the class because if it is outside the class, the probe will load with labview, along with the children classes, which adds up to about 1000 VIs that get loaded, all for a probe I may not use unless I am using the class.
Any help would be appreciated.

Problema con 8520 curve error con la aplicacion LOADER

buenas noches. mi celular 8520, enciende pero llega la barra de carga a la mitad y ahi se detiene. probe con desktop software y no termina la actualizacion da error de coneccion. y luego probe con Loader actualiza el software y luego sale un mensaje de error que dice que desenchufe y vuelva a enchufar y no termina la actualizacion. y nunca la termina estos pasos lo realice sin la bateria colocada ni tarjeta SIM solamente e cable USB nada mas saludos Alejandro

Save a PDF document with password via BSP

Hello,
I am using the code following code to show a PDF via BSP:

some Browsers have caching probs when loading PDF

l_pdf_xstring contains PDF data
l_pdf_len = XSTRLEN( l_pdf_xstring ).

length = l_pdf_len ).
navigation->response_complete( ).
Now I need that a password will be required before to show the PDF.
At the same time, this PDF should be saved with a password.

The reason for the numerous implementations of 3rd-party tools to encrypt PDF (that is to say, add a user password) is that Adobe publishes the documentation.

ISE 1.2 - Multiple NICs/Load Balancing for DHCP Probe

Hello guys
Just prepping an ISE 1.2 patch 8 setup in our organization. I am going for the virtual appliances with multiple NICs. It will be a distributed deployment with 4 x PSNs behind a load balancer and there is no requirement for wireless or guest user at the moment. I've got 2 points I will like to get some guidance on:
Our DC has a dedicated mgmt network and I plan to IP the gig0 interface of the PANs, MNTs and PSNs from this subnet. All device admin, clustering, config replication, etc will be over this interface. However, RADIUS/probe/other user traffic to the ISE PSNs will be over the gig1 interface which will be addressed from another L3 network. Is this a supported configuration in ISE?
I intend to use the DHCP probe as part of device profiling and will ideally like to have just an additional ip helper to add to our switch SVI config. Also, it will appear that WLCs can only be configured for 2 DHCP servers for a given network so another consideration for when we bringing our WLAN in scope. We however use ACE load balancers within our DC and from what I have read, they do not support DHCP load balancing. Are there any workarounds to using the DHCP probe with multiple PSNs without having to add each node as an ip helper/DHCP server on the NADs?

For Question #1:
Management is restricted to GigabitEthernet 0 and that cannot be changed so you should be good there
You can configure Radius and Profiling to be enabled on other interfaces
Even though you are not using guest services yet, you can dedicate an interface just for that. As a result, you can separate guest traffic completely from your production network

For Question #2
If you are using a Cisco WLC and running code 7.4 and newer you don't need to mess with the IP helper configurations.
The controller can be configured to act as a collector for client profiling and interact with the DHCP thread along with the RADIUS accounting task that is running on the controller. The controller receives a copy of the DHCP request packet sent from the DHCP thread and parses the DHCP packet for two options:
–Option 12—HostName of the client
–Option 60—The Vendor Class Identifier
After this information is gathered from the DHCP_REQUEST packet, a message is formed by the controller with these option fields and is sent to the RADIUS accounting thread, which is in turn transmitted to the ISE in the form of an interim accounting message.
Both DHCP and HTTP profiling settings are located under the "Advanced" configuration tab in the WLC
On the other hand, you can also use Anycast for profiling. You can check out some of Cisco Live's sessions for more info on that. Here is one that is from a couple of years (There are more recent ones that are available as well):

Prob with web pages loading w. Chrome and Firefox

I am having problems with Google Chrome and Mozilla FireFox completely loading some internet pages. I have to hit the refresh button over and over and sometimes that does not even work. I have cleared all of the browswer history and that was not effective. I have a Mac Book Pro purchased around April of 2010. I thought it may be an internet prob in my house but I have no issues with streaming video or downloading anything. Any help would be appreciated. I have not tested it on a hard wire conneection, only wireless.

Well it is all kinds that should work, like Facebook, ESPN, JC Penny, MMA Junkie, I just read a post on MAC Forums or something and I went it to the wireless advanced settings and disabled the ipv6 under the tcp/ip tab and i am going to try that. It seems to be working so far. have you heard of this setting and what it is for?

Easy enough to check. Paste each into a browser. If you get a 200 response ( assuming the health probes are active), then you know you are using the correct URLs.

"failed to load or ceate probe"

Hi,
Whenever I try to use a custom probe, such as a Waveform graph, I get a dialog saying "failed to load or ceate probe". This behaviour started after I installed LabVIEW 8.2, I really miss those probes.

I just finished removing every thing related to LabVIEW and did a reintall of LabVIEW 8.2 -- I am still getting the "failed to load probe" error.
Has anyone else seen this??
