Probelm with the WAD

HI All,
I am currently working on a WAD.when i am trying to open the Template in a WAD, all the web item which are used in the Web Template are not displaying properly.all the icons are missing from them.
Please can any one through some light on this.

All the items are properly assigned and template is executing fine.
but i am unable to view them completely, they are partially visible but not completed.
is it due to the patch problem?. I am unable to trace out.

Probelm with the sql editor window

i ahve installed sql developer 1.5.1
when i run the sql command the result pane display has the overlapped columns.
at times the result rows are shown twice.
there is some issue with the editor used in the sql editor window

You should upgrade to 1.5.3 if you can.
These type of display issues are often a result of problems with java and the display adapter.
What version of java are you using?
What operating system and version are you using?

Perhaphs a probelm with the Finder

I was going to make a DVD this afternoon and the fiels that I needed to put on the DVD were 4.6GB, a DVD is 4.7 but the disk on the desktop says that only 4.23GB is available, why is this?

Create a new folder in the Finder
Drag everything you want to burn, up to 700 MB, into the folder.
Open Terminal and type cd ~/Desktop
Press the Enter key. This changes Terminal's active directory to your user's Desktop folder.
Type hdiutil makehybrid -o myburn.iso (There's a space after the o in iso, and myburn can be any name you choose) DON'T press Enter
Switch to the "Finder"
Drag & drop the folder you created onto the Terminal window. Terminal should fill in the full path to the folder.
Press Enter. Enter key will then execute the command.
What you have done is used the hdiutil Unix command to create a hybrid disk image named myburn.iso (you can choose whatever name you like, in place of myburn, but use iso for the extension.
You should see the message "Creating hybrid image" in your Terminal window, as well as an indication of the task's progress.
When finished, you should see a disk image called myburn.iso on your Desktop.
You can use Disk Utility to burn this image, or you can type
hdiutil burn ~/Desktop/myburn.iso in Terminal
Insert a blank CD-R when prompted, and then just wait until it's done.

Probelm with the access key not shown on menu item

Hi
I have created a Menu and used setMnemonic for the menu items.
But, I dont see the letter underlined when I set the look and feel as the following code

}I see it only when I click on it or I press Alt button on the keyboard.

Is it because of the look and feel for windows XP Yes. This is configurable in XP and the default is to not show it.
Search the forum if you want to know how to change the default in XP.

"ListenerRfc : unknown error" in communication with the IGS from the WAD

Hi all,
I face a problem with the charts in the web template I built. The source query shown as a table is normally presented but the views from the same query are not displayed at all. The diagnostic message refers to an internal error met during the communication with the IGS. The system activities messages text is "ListenerRfc : unknown error".
Anybody could give me a hand in that case?

Hi,
The connection is Ok. I asked the admnistrator to restart the server because the IGS was desactivated yesterday in a reboot. The IGS works now... when it wants.
I face a new message : "ListenerRfc: unknown interpreter". It seems the problem is not over.
When I launch the dashboard in the web from the WAD, sometimes it shows the chart of the 1st item with the old message for the 2nd or the new message for the 1st one and a chart for the 2nd item.

Also tried a different deployment on a different subscription, same issue, and this one gets stuck in 'create' state with no roles showing up in 'instances' section for quite some time. Are Cloud Services even maintained by Microsoft
anymore? Seems that they are second class citizens to VMs, no updates, no new portal, no new features, often can't update single role without updating all roles, etc.

Pb with the layout tab in WAD

Hi,
I have a problem in the WAD.
When I create or modify a web template, i cannot use the layout tab (I have no error msg...).
I have the possibilty to use the others tabs (XHTM or Overview) but not the layout tab. It's problematic because I cannot customize my Web template.
Anyone has an idea or solution to help me?

did you try on different computers? Always same result?
I am using GUI 7.20 with Windows 7 EHP1
GUI Support Package 3, Patch 1, Revision 497 and have no problems.
If you have the same problem on differnet computers and with all users, I would create an OSS message.

I am Host/Server sometimes looks like , as control the gpedit.msc and flush ipconfig / registerdns, flushdns... but not always?
Who did the OS changed ANYWAY? I did not. Since OS win8pro5 has not ready me any OS backup yet.
The desktop unexpectedly changed from mine to previous of mine while Win8p there is not any OS backup for me ?
Who "Modified it" for me for what , why not I was not noticed please?

GLF2 was ever mine PCname with McAfee who is not allowed to change the PCname. GLF, GLF2 were 1st group label series when after the unlimited online back mcafee introduced into , PCname changed into some of by the Time-2nd-series PCname. That maybe
cause the complex with McAfee or Intruders who has copied the PCname & MAC & IPv4 working on the network to today.
Since there two Devices shown with the same PCname at the McAfee account. DNS just resolve the IP by a 24hr or 3 times or reboot pc time detect the IP in the dyndns solution currently.

I figured it out by pressing the home button and the off button but when i turn my phone on again it's not restored. And when i try to restore it with iTunes it has to update but i can't update my phone because it's jailbreaked but if i can't update it, it won't restore the phone.

The changes made in the WAD web template is not replicating on web browser

We are using BI 7.0 WAD. Suppose if i create a one web template and if i run it ...it is working fine.
If i change the present web template and if i do change anything on the present web template and if run this web template it is giving the previous result....it is not reflecting the present changes.
The changes made in the WAD web template is not replicating on web browser result.
I went to transaction SMICM, then choose "Goto" from the top menu. From there, go to HTTP Server Cache, then choose Invalidate, then choose Global in system. With this thing also it didnt slove.

We are facing some probelms with reports6i

I am facing some probelms with reports6i.
1.when i try to mail one report it is coming in the 'eps' format.how
can i open this format.
2.we are calling the report using the command line method not
run_product.for these reports 'Generate to File' menu is not working.It say
an error like Umimplemented Error (rep-0999)
3.In one report we are using clob field.but when we take the print output of
this field some of the characters are missing in paper.the problem what we
think is that, there is no entre key padding when a word wrap is
occuring.We have to give it manually which is not applicable in all
cases.Please give some methods to solve these probelms.
Please treat this as an urgent matter.

If you have not set desformat you will get a file format determined by the driver of your default printer (even though you are not printing !). The file extension always seems to be .eps regardless of whether it is actually an eps (postscript) file.
You can get other formats eg. pdf by setting desformat.
If you do want to work with eps files you can download 'Ghostscript and GSView' which can display and convert them.

It works great but i dont know How to make the hirarchey to show the key and the text.

please have a look in the source of the executed Web Application. What is inside of the <div> with the id filter?
You should also find a td tag with id hier_xyz with xyz the filter inside of the <div>-Tag with id filter.
Also check whether you have a javascript error.
Have a look on the Javascript function set_style. Perhaps you can paste it here, than I can have a look.

Converting the WAD applications into PDF format

Hi SAPians,
I'm in need to convert WAD results into PDF Format using SAP BW 3.5 and Acrobat Reader 7.0. And I've referred some documents in Net, But,they gave ideas only for 3.5 and Acorobat 5 version.
But i've to convert the WAD results into PDF format only by using Acrobat Reader 7.0. So, kindly let me know the steps to do so.
