Problame in adding filter group in ALE distribution chanel

Dear All,
I am adding filter in ALE(Disribution Model BD64) for Material type, Division,Sales org & distribution channel for outbond Idoc but it still allow to shoot the idoc which are not satisfying the condition. Can anybody please tell me the reason as wel as suggest me the solution for the same .

If its SAP to SAP system this error could be because the model is not distributed correctly.
if its an external system then you need to go to local system and set the filters in zdist2....and then run zdist4 in background.

Hi All,
I need to transfer cost centers via ALE. The issue is that the filter which I have to implement in the distribution model is based on company code (unlike controlling area which is the standard filter group for message type cosmas).
I searched a number of sites, but couldnt find much information on how to create custom filter groups in ale.

Find the Detailed Steps below.. You can implement The Same Example for Company code field...
These are the Steps to Implement Data Filtering in ALE.
Filter Objects: These are the Fields based on which you define The Conditon.
For eg: Matnr, Mtart...
1. Create a Filter Object (If it is not available for ur Requirement)
 Tcode: BD59
 New Entries:
 ALE Filter Object type : MBRSH (Industry Sector)
 Segment type : E1MARAM
 Segment field : MBRSH
 Save.
2. Link the ALE Filter Object type to the Table field in DDIC
 Tcode: BD95
 New Enries:
 ALE Filter Object type : MBRSH (Industry Sector)
 Table Name : MARA
 Table field : MBRSH
 Save
3. Creating Data filtering using this Filter Object type
 Tcode: BD64.
 Expand ur Model view.
 Under the Message Type MATMAS
 Double click on No Data filter / Data filter Active.
 Create a Filter Group.
 It will list out all the Filter Objects of the Message type:
 (you should find the New filter Object type)
 Double Click on the Filter Object type MBRSH .
 Assign the Filter values
 Save.

ALE Filter Group Filtration

Hi,
I have a requirement to outbound a few infotypes via ALE/IDoc (using HRMD_A)
eg: IT0, IT1, IT6 (subtype 1), IT 9 (subtype 0).
I have defined a few filter groups in the distribution model as below:
1) Infotype: 0000, 0001
2) Infotype: 0006
    Subtype: 1
3) Infotype: 0009
    Subtype 0
Is this work? As I am new to ALE/IDoc, thus, I'm not sure it will accommodate my requirement or not.
Or I need to put all the infotypes into 1 filter group?

I need to outbound a few infotypes. Some infotypes I just need to outbound certain subtype.
Eg: IT0, IT1, IT2 will need to outbound all records regardless the subtype,
      IT6 need to outbound only subtype 1
      IT9 need to outbound only subtype 0
Is my method to configure in the filter group in Distribution model correct?

ALE Filter Group

Hi Everybody,
I have a question:
Anybody could tell me how is the possibility to extend the standard filter in the ALE distribution model? At this moment you can only add a filter on controlling area and I would like to have one for the field Logical System, which is part of the master data of the cost center.

Definition
An ALE distribution unit comprises exactly one original packet which may have one or more correction packets
Structure
The ALE distribution unit has the following features:
     It contains the current object list for complete posting.
     The object list and status of the ALE distribution unit are determined dynamically from the original packet and correction packets.
     Changes to the ALE distribution unit are assigned to the current packet (original packet or correction packet).
Example
Distribution unit Alpha-001 contains data for a pump. The filters were forgotten in the original packet, so the pump cannot be posted consistently. The filters are sent subsequently in a correction packet. The object list of the ALE distribution unit is corrected, and the filter is added.
Creating an ALE Distribution Unit
Use
If you want to create an ALE distribution unit manually, there is no connection to the replication workbench. The ALE distribution unit is then not linked to a
In product data distribution, the system automatically generates an ALE distribution unit in the replication workbench from the distribution order package of your distribution order.
Prerequisites
     You have processed the activities in Customizing for UPS.
     You have processed the activities in Customizing for ALE.
Procedure
To create an ALE distribution unit:
1.     Choose Logistics  Central Functions  Product Data Distribution  ALE Distribution Unit  Create ALE Distribution Unit.
2.     Enter the following data:
a.     Name of the packet
b.     Packet owner, default local
c.     Partner system
d.     Distribution direction, default outbound
You go to processing for ALE distribution units.
1.     Enter the data requested
2.     Save.
3.     In the ALE Distribution Unit menu, you can change and display ALE distribution units.

Query related to filter group on matnr created in ALE distribution model

Hi All,
I have query related to filter group on matnr created in ALE distribution model.
I have created a filter group on matnr in ALE distribution model and put the value E* ( purpose is that all the material number started with E should be triggered in case of any changes in the material).But it is not working.
Can anybody suggest the solution for this i.e how to capture E* value for the material master changes and should trigger idoc using change pointer using BD21.

Unfortunately, you cannot filter using wildcards or exclusions. You have to explicitly list each allowed value in its entirety.
In my opinion, the simplest solution would be to copy function MASTERIDOC_CREATE_SMD_MATMAS, modify it to handle your custom filtering and update the message type entry in transaction BD60.

IDOCs Distribution Model: filter whitout Filter group

Hi guys!
In my IDOCs distribution model of IDOCs with Message Type "Z", when i try to add a Filter, in the popup dialog to enter the Filter group i canot see nothing...only a line with a "Dependent on class membership: Requires classes to be defined in the sending system"
but not show the expected fields like Sales organization, or the Account group
¿this is a custonizing problem?

First, create ALE Filter objects via BD95 (if they do not exist yet)
Secondly, assign ALE Filter objects to your message type for the appropriate segment: BD59
Then, run bd64 ...

ALE Distribution Models: Adding new company scenario

If a new company is added in production, what is the affect on the ALE distribution models? Like the steps which we need to take to implement this scenario.

Hi,
Change the data type to add the new fields.
Save the changed data type.
Click on the mapping and refresh the data type.
You will see the new fields appearing automatically.
Make the necessary mapping changes and activate the mapping.
While transporting, add the data type and the mapping to the change list and generate the .tpz file for transport.

Filter value to be added to filter group

Hi all,
in bd64 for one of the model we are having filter group.In that filter group we are maintaing some values.Now i want to add some new values to that filter group.But it is not allowing to add and it is showing in display mode .
Kindly let me know how to add new values to filter group.
pl let me know in which table these data will be stored and also is there any Function module is there to maintaint it .

ALE distribution model - one message type to more than one recipient

Hello colleagues,
currently I'm working on an integration project between one SAP system and an e-shop system. The communication is established through IDOCs ( both inbound and outbound ). There is another system ( POS ) which is already integrated
with SAP via IDOCs also.
   Now I'm facing the following problem regarding distribution of transactional IDOCs ( orders, deliveries, etc. ): when assigning one message type ( for example DESADV - Delivery: Shipping notification ) to more than one external system in ALE distribution model I receive a message alerting that one message type can be send to only one recipient.
The distribution model is as follows:
Model Views
   SAP to POS
      SAPDEV ( the SAP system )
         POS ( the external POS system )
            DESADV
   SAP to E-SHOP
      SAPDEV ( the SAP system )
         E-SHOP ( the external e-shop system )
            DESADV
   Well, the system message is clear and I did the obvious: create a complete copy to the original message type and than assign it to the E-SHOP system ( the original message type is already used in integration between SAP and POS ).
As you can see I have found a workaround already but I think that it comes natural to SAP to communicate with other systems and to exchange same kind of documents to those systems and I can't believe that there isn't a standard solution for situation like this.

I believe when ePrint server has received the email, it made the necessary settings and configured the job for printing and then it went for "Reply All" option. So here it cannot send the print job to your personal email ID and the error came up.
The only option I can think of is add the printer email ID to your email contact list and give it a name like MyPrinter so you can remember easily , just like email contacts are added in Outlook.

ALE Distribution Model

Hi,
I've created an ALE distribution model to process the interface concerning Set Up HR and Accounting. Initialy we make it all and distribute it to the receiving system (FI) and it seems to be ok. After that the funcional team generate some movements and the IDOC's were generated but they were not sent to the FI system. We've a look at tRFC and an error concerning user or password invalid appears, so i define again the user comunication and after a few adjustments to the model view we distribute it again to the FI system. When i execute it the following message appears : Model view HRFI-CFP has not been updated / Rreason: Distribution model is currently being processed.

Next step we delete the model view and created it again but the same error still remains.
Can anyone help me ???

Applications and the ALE distribution service layer use the model to determine receivers and to control the data distribution. The relationships between logical systems, message types, BAPIs and filters are defined in the distribution model.

ALE distribution of HR master data to CRM - subtype CELL and MAIL

Overview/Introduction:
we are using the ALE distribution of HR master data to CRM. The distribution has already been set up and it is running. We know that the infotype communication (0105) is especially distributing the subtypes 0010 (e-Mail) and 0020 (telephone number). This e-Mail address and the telephone number are stored in the business partner in the CRM system.
For this infotype 0105 there are also the subtypes CELL (cell phone) and MAIL (e-Mail address). Unfortunately this cell phone number and the mail address (from subtype MAIL) are not stored at the business partner in CRM.
Our request is on the one hand to store the data from subtype CELL into the field mobile number of the business partner. And on the other hand we want to store the e-mail address of subtype MAIL at the business partner instead of subtype 0010.
For some reason it seems that these requests canu2019t be setup within SAP standard.
So we found SAP note 758426 which suggests to use the BAdI HRALEX_INBOUND and the report RH_ENHANCE_BP_TEMPLATE.
Problem:
Now the problem is that the BAdI does not get called! The BAdI is active! We tried to set break points -> unfortunately did not stop! And we also implemented an endless loop in the BAdI -> even with this the system did not u2018stopu2019!?
Any ideas?

Hi,
First you need to create a distribution model using transaction BD64 : Edit > Model View > create.
Then you will need to maintain fields for description and technical name. In partner box you need to enter the source system (HR) and the target system (FI) in the second field. Then you need to assign a message type and filter settings if you need it. You need to create this distribution model in source system (HR).
After, still in BD64, go to environment > change partner profile or transaction WE20
Select your target system and enter the corresponding message type ( HRMD_A or HRMD_ABA depends on your scenario) with the correct customizing (receiver port, packet size, idoc type, syntax check and output mode).
Then please do the same things in your source system using WE20 for your source system and define your inbound parameters (Process code HRMD, processing by function module : use trigger immediately if it is not a production system or else trigger by background program and this case you will need to run report RBDAPP01 to process Idocs).
Once done, then go back to your model view in your source system (BD64) and go to Environment > generate partner profiles. Then please go to Edit > Model View > distribute
After all these settings done, it should work.

ALE Distribution for Message Type FIDCC2

Dear all,
I would like to confirm my steps below in setting up the ALE distribution of message type FIDCC2, to ensure that I did not do anyhting that impact other company code that already live in the system :-
1. Use tcode OB87 to add the Global Company Code, XBJ01.
2. Use tcode OBV7 to link a dummy (non-existence in sending system)
Chart of Account to the Global Company code XBJ01.
3. Use tcode OBB5 to assign the Global Company Code, XBJ01, setup in step 1. to the an existing company code BJ01.
4. Use tcode BD64 to setup a distribution with message type FIDCC2, and
filter with value XBJ01.
5. Create an FI document using tcode FB01 with company code BJ01.
6. IDOC is created successfully with message type FIDCC2.
Is there above steps correct? As there are times I receive an error message when trying to do a PGI with company code other than BJ01 "F1302 No cross-system company code is defined for company code TR01".
Another question is, with setting up of FIDCC2 with ALE distribution, any transaction in SAP that will generate a FI document will have IDOC created, right?

I don't know if you still have this problem but my team and I faced a similar issue in production. Due to a project we're handling, a tool that we are executing requested us to create a Distribution Model based on FIDCC2. This stuck hundreds of thousands of FI Document. Actually, for any FI document the system generated an FIDCC2 and it's not possible to reuse those IDocs because the FIDCC2 Message Type has a structure completely different from FIDCMT (the original message that the system should generate). We identified all the IDoc that should be generated and re-create the Idocs in the target system and the Idocs we posted correctly. We change the FIDCC2 IDocs status to 62 or 32 (depending if inbound system or outbound system). I recommend to investigate about this message type before use it. This Message Type is stronger than any other message type so it must be filter perfectly otherwise, for sure, problems will appear.

Assign Group Permission to Distribution Group

I have a Distribution Group in AD and i want to assign permission to same in SharePoint. But i am not able to get that group in people picker. However, i am able to fetch the Security Group from AD to SharePoint.

Since you are posting the thread to SharePoint 2013 forum, so I assume you are using SharePoint 2013. Below is to help you understand Distribution group and Security group:
Security group A group that can be listed in DACLs. A security group can also be used as an e-mail entity.
Distribution group A group that is used only for e-mail distribution and that is not security-enabled. Distribution groups cannot be listed in discretionary access control lists (DACLs), which are used to define permissions
on resources and objects.
You can use security groups to control permissions for your site by adding security groups to SharePoint groups and granting permissions to the SharePoint groups.
You cannot add distribution groups to SharePoint groups, but you can expand a distribution group and add the individual members to a SharePoint group. If you use this method, you must manually keep the SharePoint group synchronized with the distribution
group.
If you use security groups, you do not need to manage the individual users in the SharePoint application. Because you included the security group instead of the individual members of the group, AD DS manages the users for you.
I'd recommend you using Security group for SharePoint related permission settings instead of Distribution group.

In ALE internal order Configuration done by BAPI Method SAVEREPLICA Business object BUS2075whenever user changed the internal order which is moved to the destination system because of change data setting in data element fields.
I want to know how to send the spool output of the changed internal order to the specific user during ALE distribution.
