probleem met gebriuk app remote. als ik de app remote gebruik met een ipad of iphone om itunes aan te zetten van mijn mac mini surver dan krijg ik heel vaak geen geluid via me hdmi naar me dennon receiver. wel zie je dat het nummer afspeeld. als ik op enter druk van mijn toetsen bord of met me macbook pro me scherm deling opstart dan schakeld het geluid meteen in. wie weet het probleem hier mogenlijk van.

I'm not sure why this is happening, but I think I'm seeing the same thing. Many times when I get an email on the iPad or iPhone with a picture attached, I don't see the picture but instead just a placeholder icon.
I have found a work around though to at least see the picture. If I forward it and include the attachment, I see the picture in the outgoing email. I can even save the image from the sending email if I really don't want to send it. If i do send it to myself, chances are I will see the picture in the email when I receive it even though it's just a resend of the original.

How to not have songs duplicates in app remote? I have playlists for my iphone and playlists for my pc. All songs of my iphone are also on my mac. When i use the remote app, it plays everything in double.

Dear all,
I am using itunes to control all my music and i like to use my iphone, or my ipad to control my music with the remote app.
But i have a problem: all the music i have in my iphone count as double play.
To explain everything since the beginning, i personally don't like and don't trust at all the music sync capability of itunes.
So i have my music on my pc, and i load every type of music as a single playlist (ex a Pop-Rock folder, with all artists folders and so on, makes me a Pop-Rock playlist).
For my iphone, i created a iphone music folder, with the same classification.
It means that i don't have all my Pop-Rock music, only a selection. But of course the selected music appears also in my complete music collection.
So in itunes i created a folder playlist named iphone music, with inside one playlist by type of music (exemple : Pop-Rock, which contains some files of my main Pop-Rock collection).
So i do have duplicates in my hard drive. But when i selected the playlists to be shared on home sharing in itunes, i selected only the main playlists, not my iphone playlists! But still, when i look for ACDC artist for example, i should see only what i have on my pc, not what i have also on my iphone.
The result is if i play an album for example Back In Black (i have it full on my hard drive, and full on my iphone too), then every song is displayed in remote app in double, and also played in double:
Here is how it is displayed:
Song 1
Song 1
Song 2
Song 2
So the remote app plays Song 1 one time, then Song 1 (the second Song 1) one time and continues like this to Song 2 etc...
I guess that if i put my selection of songs on my ipad, i will then have everything in triple....
It is very annoying. Is there a way for me to change that? Or for an update to be made (based on ID3 Tag) to not play everything twice or more? It would have an ID3 Tag No Double toggle button.
I don't want to select from my main music to send elements to my iphone as doing that i lost a lot of music multiple times. This way of doing is not safe at all (at least for me).
What is possible to do? Is there room for improvement here (i believe so). Is there a way for me to avoir this very annoying effect?
I would really like to put my music to my iPad2 also, but after i'll have triple play....

ToDo app not syncing with iCloud to iPad and iPhone

I have the Appigo ToDo app on my ipad and was synching it successfuly with my Mac iCal reminders. Prefering to use ToDo i have now installed it on my Mac and on my iPhone but it won't sych them together via the iCloud as promised. Using the 'advanced' tab i managed to get all the info onto all three devices but when i change something on one device - its doesn't change on the others. I have followed the instructions and repeated them - is there something i am missing?

mine is the same after working fine for months - now they are all different! argh!
have reset them all - even though I fear losing stuff.
I'm going to try going back to a local network connection to sync - will keep you posted.

My music for my Music app is all messed up on iPad and iPhone when using shared option.

The music from my mobile "Music" app is all out of whack! Albums and art are all out of order and art is wrong. It's only on mobile when I sync/share with main computer library. Albums are out of order with wrong album art work and on iPad they have wrong album names. Says album is say Beatles White Album, but songs are not from that album. They're from the artist I'm looking at. My iTunes on my Mac are fine, just my mobile devices when I do home sharing is COMPLETELY whacked out of order and mostly wrong art!

I've had the same problem on my iPad4 and I seem to have fixed it for now by turning off "Group By Album Artist" in the settings of the Music app.
Ridiculous bug though. In my case searching didn't work either and I didn't even see all the albums.

Sounds like your app is stuck downloading on both of your iOS devices. You can try tapping on the application icon to resume the download, as outline in this featured discussion:

Try tapping the App, so that it changes to Paused instead of Waiting, then tap it again to resume the install.
Make sure you don't have any paused downloads in other apps either, like the App Store or iTunes Store.
If that doesn't do it, try resetting or restoring the iPhone.

Which app is better to buy? For iPad or iPhone

I now have both, an iPad 3 and an iPhone 5.
When I buy some apps, naturally, I want to use it onm both devices.
It happen serveral times, that one does not work on the other.
I think, the iPad ver. does not work on the iPhone?
I may be mistaken.
I just want to buy some expensive apps, so I want to makje sure it runs on both platforms.

There is an easy way to find out if they work on both the iPad and iPhone. In the App Store, when you go to buy a free or paid app, there should be a tiny little + in the top left corner of the button that says the price. This means that the app is optimized for both the iPad and iPhone. They will look different, but it should work definity. If you buy/install an app on your iPhone that is specifically iPhone (there is no +), then if you search for it on your iPad, (in the iPhone apps section) or look for it in your purchased apps, it will work, but it will be just an enlarged version, with buttons that were made for the iPhone. It can also be zoomed down to the size of an iPhone. If you buy a specific iPad app, it will never work on the iPhone, too big.
If you've already installed/bought an app before, but it's not on the device, there will be an install button, not the price, so I don't think, maybe, that the + thing will be there.

No. Some apps are iPad only and some iPhone only. The Compatibility section on the App description page stated compatibility. For example this app is NOT compatilber with iPod touch

If it's the same app then when you download the update then you will get the updated universal version. But if the developer has created a separate iPad version of the app then you won't be informed about it, and it will be a separate purchase if you want it

Probleem met PSE 8.0; ik krijg geen tekst op foto's

Ik heb een desktop HPE met Windows 7 en 6G intern geheugen en 1TB harde schijf.
Ik ben bezig met een diashow. Heb daarvoor een aantal foto's in een album gezet.
Nu wil ik de foto's van een tekst voorzien.
Ik selecteer een aantal foto's en ga naar "Volledige bewerking".
Eerst heb ik met het cloonstempel een eerdere tekst weggepoetst.
Daarna klik ik op "T" voor horizontale tekst.
Zodra ik op de foto klik krijg ik een nieuwe laag "Tekst", Laag 1. De foto blijft laag achtergrond met een slotje.
Echter de cursor met het symbool van de tekst verandert in het symbool "Verplaatsen" en op de plek waar ik de tekst wil invoeren staat een vierkantje.
De tekst die ik intyp verschijnt niet op de foto en is ook niet in de Laag 1 zichtbaar.
In de Laag 1 wordt de tekst pas zichtbaar als ik een enter geef.
Het vierkantje in de foto verdwijnt dan en de cursor geeft verandert weer in de cursor voor "Tekst".
Nu wil ik de lagen samenvoegen, maar er gebeurt niks.
De laag Achtergrond is nu weer de enige laag maar de tekst ben ik kwijt. De actie met de cloonstempel is wel uitgevoerd.
Als ik een foto alleen van een tekst wil voorzien (dus geen cloonstempel nodig heb) heb ik dezelfde problemen

Ik heb de PC opnieuw opgestart.
Ik heb met CCCleaner de PC "opgeruimd".
Alles zonder resultaat.

When you create a backup on an external media, you don't create a copy immediately useable on the external media. The backup can only be used by the 'restore' process in the organizer. The restore process reads the backup folder containing renamed versions of your image files as well as your renamed catalog, then it writes them back where you want.
So, you should now use the menu 'file / restore' to write back the files to the new location. Warning : select a new master folder to receive the restored copy, not the same folder than the backup.
Also note that even if the backup / restore process is recommended (much safer), you could simply move your pictures folder trees by 'drag and drop' when you are in 'Folders' view. I assume you are using PSE11 ?

VERWIJDEREN APPS
1) Instellingen> Algemeen> Gebruik> Opslag> Wis App
2) Raak de app en houd uw vinger omlaag totdat alle apps beginnen te schudden. U krijgt een omcirkelde "x" te zien in de linkerbovenhoek. Tik erop om een app te verwijderen. Als je klaar bent druk op de Home-knop.
U kunt alle vooraf geïnstalleerde iOS app niet verwijderen.
Als er geen 'X' op een apps die je hebt gedownload ... kijk dan in beperkingen ...
Instellingen> Algemeen> Beperkingen

Als de app is in iTunes op je computer, dan kun je de app verwijderen in iTunes (Selecteer de applicatie en druk op Delete op het toetsenbord). Als je vervolgens synchroniseren met je iDevice, zal de app ook worden verwijderd van uw iDevice.

IPad and iPhone Remote app no longer see my AppleTV (1st Generation)

For months, I've been using the Remote app from my iPad to control my first generation AppleTV. When I got an iPhone 4 and got the Remote app for it, I tried to do the same thing, but now AppleTV will not recognize my iPhone 4, and no longer recognizes my iPad. All it will allow me to use is the ****** little remote that came with it.
How do I fix this?
Notes:
AppleTV is synchronized with my iTunes library
Home Sharing on the PC is turned on
Remote App tells me to "turn on home sharing on the AppleTV from the Computers section of the Settings menu" but no such option exists.

AppleTV1 doen't use Home Sharing. Try this:
Apple TV (1st generation)
Connect iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to a Wi-Fi network that is connected to the local network that your Apple TV also connected to.
Open the Remote app on your mobile device.
Select Add an iTunes Library in the Remote settings screen. Remote will then display a 4 digit passcode.
On Apple TV, select Settings from the main menu, select General and then Remotes.
Select the name of your iPhone or iPod touch.
Enter the 4 digit passcode. Use the volume up/down keys on the Apple Remote (Infrared) to change the number that is displayed and the track next/back keys to switch digits.
Click Done.
Remote app will be paired with Apple TV and you can begin browsing your library using Remote and select a piece of content to play.
