Problem accessing iTunes for apps with new iPad

New iPad connects to and works fine with home wifi except when trying to download apps. Then I get message that I cannot connect to iTunes. Don't have this problem when using public wifi.

Apps will always be tied to the ID in which they were purchased or downloaded under. You can not change this unless you buy or download the free app using the new ID.

I received my new iPad Mini with retina display yesterday and was offered iPhoto, iMovie, Pages, Numbers, and Keynote as part of the setup process.
Unfortunately the download stopped after Pages was installed.
Can anyone please advise how I can get the remaining Apps? If I look for them in the App Store then they are only offered at a charge.

HT4571 problem! connecting 3G network with new Ipad (verizon)

device: new Ipad verizon, 16gb
problem: I got the device from US and I never activate it's original Verizon sim card yet. I tried to use a 3G data sim card outside US.
              the dvice get antenna and bring the carrier name on top corner also say 3G beside it.
              but when I try to use safari for browsing the net, it says : " could not activate cellular data network"
              how can i fix it?
              my carrier says the sim card is activated and working (the 3G sim i mean not Verizon)
any suggestion?

Why are you using Windows print sharing with your nice network printer? This mode only supports printing, not scannning or faxing. The better way to do this is to attach the printer to your router with Ethernet or wirelessly so that all PCs (regardless of how they connect) can use all of it's features. Disconnect the USB cable and run the Wireless Setup Wizard (if you want to connect it wirelessly, otherwise, plug the Ethernet cable in to the printer and router) from the front of the printer (Setup >Network menu), then run the HP software to "Add a Device" on each PC.

Itunes not working with new ipad

Hi I just bought a new Ipad 4 and am trying to sync it with itunes from my 2009 Macbook, but i keep getting message that i need a newer version of itunes. But i dont seem to be able to get this with my mac. what can i do?

Same thing happened to me, I just got ipad 4, but when I connected to iTunes I got error message, saying I needed latest iTunes download but when I checked for software updates it said software up to date. I called Apple and after they had me try several things they determined there was an issue with iTunes so I had to "trash" my iTunes then go to Apple website and download latest version of iTunes. After I did that the computer recognized my iPad and I was able to sync. Good Luck

IWork/iLife Apps with New iPad Air

iWork/iLife apps are supposed to be free on a new iOS device. I bought and registered a new iPad Air and the Appstore wants to charge me for downloading them. How can I get these on my device without being charge?

I was under the impression they were separate apps. When you bought your iPad Air, you got the iOS versions, but if you want the MacOS versions, you will need to purchase them.
They were free when you purchased a new iOS/MacOS product, but the free software would most likely coincide with that.

My ipod touch says I need to update the software in order to access iTunes for apps, but iTunes says I have the most current version. What do i do?

I have an iPod touch. When I try to download an app, it says I need to update the device's software to access the iTunes store. But, when i connect to iTunes, it says I have the most current version. I'm stuck. My mother got this iPod as free-with-purchase when she bought her desktop. She used it, then gave it to me. Could this be the problem? because she connected it to her iTunes and now it won't work on mine? When I first plugged it into my iTunes, it said the iPod was registered to another account and did I want to sync it with my account, to which I said yes. So far, this iPod has been useless to me because I can't download any apps to it. Help, please.

I downloaded the app PRT and paid for the 5 k module but I recently changed / upgraded iPhone to the 4s and now I do not have access to the module .
I would like to avoid paying the $3.99 plus tax again how can I get this rectified?
I also do not have access with this new phone one of my songs purchased would this be the same problem

If your iOS device was activated for the first time after September 1, go to the App Store on your iPad which should open to Featured. If not, tap on Featured at the lower left of the screen & scroll down to Collections & tap on New to the App Store? then scroll down to Apps Made by Apple & tap. You should now see the iWork & iLife apps as "FREE."

You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option which is revealed in the iTunes app on your iOS device by tapping the more button at the bottom of the screen.
If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.
Try deleting the problematic book (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iBook store.

When you updated your iPhone 4S and iPad3 to iOS6, what exactly do you mean when you can't access the iTunes store? Have you checked your connection to the network?

Saw this on another post.
Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

ITunes cannot connect with this iPad Error/iOS 5 problem

It appears that ever since upgrading to iOS 5 and opting to sync my first gen iPad wirelessly, I have been receiving an error message each morning stating "iTunes cannot connect with this iPad..."
The wireless sync capability works fine, I plug my iPad into the wall when I come home, and it starts pushing and pulling all the new apps that I've downloaded in the day.
It appears that iTunes is will regularly try to connect with the iPad while it is charging. At some point during the evenings, either my iPad will be asleep or my iMac will be asleep. I think this is where the connection problem is arising.
Does anyone know how to change iTunes' frequency of wireless sync to a device that it is wirelessly connected to? Ideally, I'd like it to only sync wirelessly once when I plug the iPad into the wall.

Wifi problems with new ipad

I'm trying to learn how to correct wifi problems with new iPad. It is the wifi only, 64GB model. I want to be able to use it at work, where we have a great wifi network. I can usually connect to our network with no problem, but after an hour or so my iPad loses the network. When I try to reconnect, I see that the network is showing full strength reception, but I get the error message from the iPad that I am "Unable to join" the network. My iPhone connects to the same network seamlessly, as do all of the other iPhones of my co-workers and the older generation iPads that some of our staff has.
At other locations, I typically have no problems (home, apple store, etc.) but I have had the same situation pop up at a coffee shop where I could see that there was a wifi network available, but I could not join it even though it was the shop's free wifi.
I have tried turning the iPad off, turning off wifi and turning it back on again, and forgetting the wifi network in question. I can't think of any other methods that are available to an end user to correct the problem.
I have already gone to the Apple store to swap out the unit, and the newer one is having the same symptoms.
Can anyone offer any advice here? This is quite frustrating.

Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
