Problem adding Remote multisite Entry Point

Hi, we have DirectAccess 2012 setup for multisite with a default site with 2 DA servers with load balancing in Sweden, one DA server in Phoenix (US) and one in Romania. For the US one i had to change the entrypointDC after i had added it since otherwise
i could not use the RemoteAccess management console.. everything just hung when it could not load the configuration.. i guessing it timed out.. getting the config from the US AD server and that broke everything (hmmm...)
I am now trying to add another entry point in the US (not the same site) but cant get past "adding an entry point... Please wait while the configuration is applied.." i have waited a couple of days.. it dos not get past that.
I wanted to try the powershell command for adding a entry point to but i cant find any info on how to specify the different GPO:s correctly.. i have Windows 7 computer to so i need a server GPO , a client GPO  and a windows 7 group.. and i have not
been able to figure out how to do that..
Or if its possible to change a entrypointDC while adding the entrypoint.. so it wont time out.
Anyone have any smart tips ?
BR
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
Please try to follow the guide below,
Deploy Multiple Remote Access Servers in a Multisite Deployment

Besides, is there any warning or error in the event viewer?
Best Regards.

    With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
    Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
    Reboot and see if all is well
    In case that your OS is Windows 7 (64 bit)
    1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
    2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"
    3. Open new windows explorer, to to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support

  • Problem adding more than one point method in xmlrpc...

    Hello,
    I have an java program that connects to an webserver and communicates with an php file through xmlrpc. I have the need for more functions and so I need a little help here to have my server process each request:
    function Login($xmlrpcmsg)
    $result = "Hi from the server, " . "Username: " . $xmlrpcmsg->getParam(0)->scalarVal() . " Password: " . $xmlrpcmsg->getParam(1)->scalarVal();
    return new xmlrpcresp(new xmlrpcval($result, "string"));
    $s = new xmlrpc_server(array(
    "XmlRpcDemo.Login" => array(
    "function" => "Login",
    "signature" => $login_sig)
    basically i need $s to point to different methods. Like and register method for instance. Let me show you by code example:
    $s = new xmlrpc_server(array(
    "XmlRpcDemo.Login" => array(
    "function" => "Login",
    "signature" => $login_sig))
    "XmlRpcDemo.Register" => array(
    "function" => "Register",
    "signature" => $login_sig)));
    but that doesnt work you see? So how do I get this to work. Please help me!
    Much Appreciated,
    Aric Holland

    That code isn't Java. That is PHP.

  • Pass Parameter To Configuration Entry Point

    In TestStand 2010 I have added a configuration entry point to select a configuration file. (Configure\Select Config File). I'm displaying a LabVIEW GUI which basically prompts the user to select a file. The file path needs to be stored in "FilePath" variable in TestStand.
    Problem statement:
    1. I'm trying to modularize this configuration entry point. Hence, I would write to "Parameters.FilePath" variable of configuration entry point stored in process model. This variable would be of "pass by reference" type and should eventually update the caller sequence.
    However, I don't know how to pass the value from "Parameters.FilePath" to the caller sequence. I'm currently updating the station global variable directly which I think is not the correct method if I think of modularity.
    2. I want the configuration entry point that was created ("Select Config File") to be enabled only when testing has not started (I'm just using single pass for my project).
    Which variable in TestStand would tell me if the execution entry point "Single Pass" is called or not?

    hi bce,
    [ If I used a station global, how would my changes be saved? Can you do this programmatically? Is there a better way? ]
    When Teststand closes, it automatically saves the StationGlobals. You would use PropertyObjectFile.SaveFileIfModified if you needed to force the save. But you shouldn't really need to do this as the latest value is available to all sequences and sequence files.

  • Configuration Manager Remote Control: rc.exe - Entry Point Not Found

    It appears this may have been caused by a patch since it happened after our systems were patched, but I can't be sure.  This issue was reported before on SCCM servers that had KB2830477 installed.  In some cases removing it works, but not in all
    cases.
    To create this error, we right-click a computer in a collection in the SCCM admin console on one of the SCCM servers, we get the message "Configuration Manager Remote Control: rc.exe - Entry Point Not Found" with the text "The procedure entry
    point PdhAddEnglishCounterW could not be located in the dynamic link library pdh.dll."  If the SCCM admin console is installed on a workstation, this can be used to start Remote Tools without a problem.  This is only on Windows 2008 R2 servers
    running the SCCM Admin console.

    Does this continue to occur if you reinstall the console?
    Does the console match the version of the ConfigMgr site?
    Have you reviewed your AV logs to see if it might be getting in the way?
    Have you used procmon to potentially identify issues with locating the the DLL?
    Does this happen when folks are launching the admin console while directly RDPed into the server or when the console is served up using RemoteApp (given that's what the mentioned hotfix is for)?

  • Adding DA Entry Point: firewall requirements?

    Hi,
    When adding a new DA Entry Point, getting error:
    "A connection cannot be established to server <New_DA_Server.domain.com>.  Check that the server is available, the Remote Access role is installed, and that you have permissions to access the server".
    The RA role is installed, and the domain user account is a local admin on the new DA server.  However, internal firewall restricts file share (SMB) access between the existing and new DA server.  We're changing this as I type, but are there any
    other firewall port requirements to add a new entry point?  This http://goo.gl/jBlVxZ nor any other Technet page mentions inter-Entry Point firewall requirements.
    Many thanks,

    Hi There - I am not aware of any specific firewall requirements between the sites and i am not entirely convinced that SMB is the culprit. However, as an aside thought, have you ran the DA Wizard as Right Click Run As Administrator (sorry about that !) as
    I have seen issues where just clicking normally prevents a few configurations from running.
    Also I have seen several instances where firewalls were just not playing nicely for many reasons and I have used PowerShell Commands instead of the GUI which worked even when the GUI wouldn't.

    Since updating to 10.4 I've been getting this error message on computer startup
    'AppleSyncNotifier.exe – Entry Point Not Found
    The procedure entry point xmlTextReaderConstName could not be located in the dynamic link library libxml2.dll.'.
    Please help me fix this annoying problem?
    belle

    This is the fix I got from discussions and it worked for me.  It is copied below.  I just did the manual fix which I have underlined. Good luck! Regards, Belle.
    This can occur because libmxl2.dll is not in your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support folder.
    There have been some issues with this and other dlls not being in the right place (or not being everywhere they should be) since the 10.3.1.55 iTunes update.
    However, I note that the 10.4 iTunes update is now out - surprisingly quickly - so try installing that, rebooting, and see if your issue is solved.
    If it isn't, though, here's the manual fix:-
    With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
    Copy the libmxl2.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
    Reboot and see if all is well.
    I actually had the issue with SQLite3.dll, and the above fix worked for me (I found it in an April 2010 posting!).
    I passed on the fix as above for the similar issue with libmxl2.dll to someone who had exactly your problem, and he reported that it fixed it for him.

    I am having a problem opening 32 bit version of Photoshop CS5 in Windows 7.  The 64 bit version opens fine, but when I try and open the 32 bit version, the following window opens: “Photoshop.exe – Entry Point Not Found”  X The procedure entry point_CFCreateApplicationRepositoryPath could not be located in the dynamic link library CoreFoundation.dll.  My only option in this window is an OK button.  If I click this button several times, the program eventually opens. I got problem on installing iTunes. When I clicked iTunes out, two windows popped out. One said the procedure entry point CFAttributed String Create Mutable could not be located in the dynamic link library Core Foundation.dll. and one just said *Itunes was not installed correctly.  Please re install I Tunes Error 7 (windows error 127) . I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. But either way cant work. I really need some of your help! PLS HELP ME!

    For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
    The error shares a similar pattern to that in the third box, so a similar approach should work. Look for CoreFoundation.dll in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support, delete it, then repair Apple Application Support.
    The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
    Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

  • Web Page Composer: Problems creating entry points for iViews

    Hi experts, i´ve been trying to add an iView to a page. I know i have to create an entry point to a folder created on the PCD.
    I followed instructions on help link http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/06/4776399abf4b73945acb8fb4f41473/content.htm
    Now, when i try to create a new entry point link to the pcd folder i don´t see any navigation that can get me to the pcd.
    Actually When i click the browse button it opens the Web Content folder where i can see 2 subfolders
    - Cross-Site Content
    - Sites
    I also have this options:
    - Favorites
    - Personal Documents
    - Recently used
    - Common folders
    - Public Documents
    None of it seems to be the access to the PCD.
    I´ll appreciate any help
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Sandeep,
    i don't know if your problem was solved already.
    Here a quick overview of all steps, that you need to perform.
    1. Make your PCD available in the KM.( See Link below for details) Your folders need to have 'Read'-Permission for the Everyone-group!
    2. Search your iView-folder now in the KM. Look at Details -> Properties -> Access Links -> ID
    3. Provide this ID in the wpcDragExplorerEntryPoints . (Should be sharedcontent=/wpccontent/Cross-Site Content;/documents/MyFolder; /pcd)
