Problem Adobe ID in Digital Content Preview Tool for *.issue from InDesign

Hi,
I hope it is the right place for this post.
So, I create a *.issue file with InDesign and the new Digital Publishing.
Then I installed the Digital Content Preview Tool on the iPad and I have tryed login with Adobe ID to test the *.issue file.
But login inside the iPad app has been failing by all the day...
(ps: login from web browser goes well).
Someone can help me?

Web content management tools for enterpise portal

I'm currently trying to research web content management tools for enterprise portal.
My general requirements are:
- Tool should sit on top of the portal/km and not require another landscape infrastructure, in other words we don't need another document management repository, but rather a way an easier interface to KM.
- Should be geared towards end-user management of actual content. In other words IT provides the site framework and the business user handles the rest, with approvals with business unit
- Compatible with EP 7.0
My research so far has turned up two possible solutions:
- Webpage composer delivered by SAP
- EasyWCM by btexx
Are there any other solutions that people are using which might meet these needs or alternative web content management tools that could live with the portal on the same physical hardware environment? I'm not aware of too many other options than the ones already mentioned here. Also Iu2019m probably not the right person to ask as I have been part of the development team for the KMD product. So Iu2019m a bit biased on that part.
You could try to have a look at this presentation where other WCM solutions are mentioned (page 5):

However if you are looking for a WCM solution with no extra landscape infrastructure and low initial setup effort you are (in my opinion) down to 3 options (Web Page Composer, Btexxu2019s or KMDu2019s product). I think all of them can be used for external content. Try to have a look at this web site u2013 made entirely with the web page composer:

Hi. I'm trying to remove an object from a video and refill the space previously occupied by the object with the surrounding imagery, so as to make it look like the object never existed. Basically like what Photoshop CS5's Content-Aware tool does. Is there any such feature for video in CS5? Thanks for your help

No. Please do a search before posting. The pros and cons have been discussed . In the meantime use the conventional paint and clone tools.

Tools for converting from Designer 1.x to 6?

I am about to work for a client that would like to convert their data model from Oracle Designer version 1.3 to version 6. They, of course, have both logical and physical models defined in the tool. They do not use Designer to create triggers or stored procedures, but they do store business rules in the repository (I'm not sure where. . .). The business rules serve as documentation for business analysts.
Is Oracle Designer upwardly compatible from version 1? That is, will I be able to open the version 1 model with version 6 software? If not, are there tools that I might use to perform the transition?

For a technical migration from designer 1 to designer 6.0, there is extensive documentation in the 6.0 product how to do this. Your repostitory information will be available in designer 6 once you upgraded. If you used Headstart for designer 1.3.2, take a look at the Headstart migration issues for migration your template package (info can be found on OTN,(http://technet.oracle.com/products/headstart/)
. If you want to migrate your business logic, you might want to take a look at the CDM RuleFrame option (whitepapers available on the website), a powerfull way to model and implement business logic in the server (with transaction level validation, no more mutating table problems etc.)

Problem printing custom size 3.5 in x 5 in from InDesign to Canon i9900

I am working on a small project where I need to print a custom size. The cards are 3.5 in x 5 in. I set up a custom size of paper in InDesign CS3, but every time I print to my Canon i9900, I get only a small bit of the design in the upper left hand corner as if my paper size is set to 8.5 x 11. I have tried everything to get it to print correctly. Also, how do I set the paper for borderless printing? It seems that it still has a margin when my printer prints borderless. This seems like if would be elementary to me so I am a bit frustrated that I can't figure it out.

My experience is with CS2 on OS 10.3.9 and 10.4.11, so this may have changed in CS3, or 10.5....
Setup a custom paper size for your printer.
This can be accessed from within the InDesign Print window.
File > Print
Select your printer from the
Printer: pulldown menu (if not already selected)
Click
Page Setup... at the bottom left
Click
Settings and then select
Custom Paper Size from the list of options
Click
New, name the style, define the paper size and printable margins, and save it.
Click OK to exit the page setup.
In the InDesign Print Window, Click on
Page Setup... again
Select
Your New Paper Size in the Page Setup
Paper Size: pulldown, then click OK.
InDesign Print window
Setup should reflect the new page size and list the paper size as "Defined by Driver"
If your document page size is the same as your paper size, then the preview in the lower left should reflect that.

Performance problems using WLS6.1 with the thin driver for Ora9i from OTN

Hello everyone,
Has anyone been experimenting with the thin driver for Oracle 9i under WLS6.1. I got it running, but
I get extremely bad performance when having multiple concurrent accesses. It works more or less in
single user mode. Also it seems not to support XA transactions?
When could we expect the driver from BEA to be out?

I had done this from the very beginning, but I was still getting very bad performance under
concurrent accesses. I even followed Sree's instructions and removed the old thin driver from
weblogic.jar, but this didn't help. I am now trying to get the OCI driver for 9i running and hope
this will solve the problem.

Big Problem! How can I take a DV [for iMovie] from DVD VOB files using Tost

I have a Toster 7, copy all DVD VOB [generate on a Sony 305 DVD] files to my Hard Disc and place them on the Toster browser... when I click to export them it just export part of my VOBs... just the first record video from the VOBs... how can I export all videos?
Please help me, it will save my life!

ahh, you try one of the "dirty tricks"..
a) you have to select a .vob before hitting Apple-K
b) your disk has to be "finalized" in yuur camera... read its manual how to accomplish that....

Where is this application. And is there a plan for getting this reader on windows 8

Are you looking for the ability to build custom viewers to distribute and sell on Windows 8? Or are you just looking to preview folios while you are designing them?
As Bob mentions, we are working on support for building custom viewers, but will not have anything available until late this year. If you are trying to preview content while designing your folios it works the same as it does on Windows 7: the desktop content preview tool will preview the content.

hello, i don't think that this would be possible (but i'm not sure). what you could do is try to sniff the version of flash that is installed & the firefox useragent and just assume that old versions of the plugin will be blocked in this combination.

Code Review Tool for Weblogic 8.1

I am working with WLS 8.1. Can anyone suggest plugin or code review tool for reviewing from workshop?
I have used PMD open source plugin with eclipse for reviewing java files. I couldnt use it for .ejb files generated from workshop. Pls suggest some procedure for this.

Red Samurai is not avaiable for 11.1.2 at the moment as Oracle changes the way extensions plug into jdev :-(.
Have you tried out the jdev internal audit tools (under Build->'Audit projectname' and follow the dialogs)?

Error adobe digital content bundler need help please

Hi I have been working on a project using adobe digital content bundler beta version and have an error message that is preventing the finalisation of publication. "Internal communication error. For more information, see ErrorLog.txt in the application storage directory". On the forums it appears a solution was provided but I cannot locate the thread where it was written. Any help would be most appreciated. When I open the error log file it says ERROR UKNOWN PRODUCT

Digital Publishing Suite is no longer on Adobe Labs. If you are using the tools that were provided through the public prerelease, they are likely out of date and you are recommended to try the content bundler provided within InDesign CS5.5. Others may be able to provide you with more support in the dps forum.

InDesign & Adobe Digital Content Bundler (Question about this products)

Hello Everyone!
I was searching for tools to create interactive presentations to my Ipad and found that creating .issue/.folio files and loading them with Adobe Content Viewer was a great way to do that.
I just downloaded the trial version of inDesign & Adobe digital content Bundler (from adobe labs) and loved the end results.
BUT...
Will this feature be discontinued as a stand alone and only be availabe as a part of digital publishing suite?
Will I be able to publish .issue/.folio using only Indesign to create my presentations?
Just to remember... i DON'T want to publish/sell my .issue/.folio bundles. I would like to create presentations using this tools and manually load them on my ipad.
Will that be possible?

Yes. You must subscribe to the Digital Publishing Suite. About $500-700 a month to start. There is a lot of pressure on Adobe to knock this off though; Join the fight. I want to publish to Ipad too - but 6-7k a year just for that????? forget it.
