Problem after Adobe Premiere Pro 5.5.1 update

I jsut installed this update along with any other for CS5.5 - now PP crashes everytime I use ultrakey??? On MAC can I revert to previous PP (ie. remove the update)??

Intermittent problem after launching Premiere Pro - all audio is lower in frequency by very noticeable amount and video keeps dropping back a few frames every few seconds, apparently trying to keep in sync with slower audio.
This does not happen consistently, perhaps every 5 or 6 launches. Otherwise program works normally after launch and sometimes a quit and relaunch will fix the problem.
Have submitted bug report but wondered if anyone else having the same problem?

Well if i do that, the video will raise up GBs larger (and that is really bad).
Why is it really bad?
Its a fact of digital life. High datarate = quality.
example ...even the Youtube preset is in the 8mpbs area.
...and you are exporting 1 hr 35mins of media.

Audio-Problem with Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 by using long Clips in AVC-Intra Codec (4Gb Border)

We own a Panasonic camera (AJ-PX5000G) and we film in 1080p50 with the AVC-Intra100 Codec. When importing longer clips in Premiere Pro, the video is fully loaded, but the waveform of the sound ends at the Time Code 00:02:28:35.
Sometimes the sound could be played after this Timecode but otherwise there is no audio. Even if we use the same clip several times we see that it works sometimes and sometimes not. It looks random.
We also tried to import the Clips with Adobe Prelude directly from the P2-Card but there are the same problems.
The Clips in 1080p50 AVC-Intra100 have a bitrate of 227Mbps. After 2 Minutes and 28 Seconds 4Gb are written on the P2-Card and the Camera starts a new picture file and 4 sound files..
It looks like Adobe Premiere Pro has problems with the correct relation of the files that all get together to one clip.
Is there anybody who can confirm this problem? Can anybody help me with this Premiere Problem?

Hola amigos: Instale el programa de prueba adobe premiere pro cs4 y he querido usarlo pero le doy al icono de Pr y me sale en la pantalla la ventana morada que indica la iniciaciòn del adobe premiere pro pero despues de 5 minutos aparece ota ventana en la pantalla de mi pc que dice lo siguiente: PREMIERE PRO DEBUG EVENT Premiere Pro has encountered an error. [..\.. \Src\ImporterProcessClient. Cpp-127] Continued le doy al comando Continuid y no sale nada y desaparece la ventada de inicio de adobe premire, no he podido usarlo. De igual forma cuando inicio el adobe media encoder, aparece una ventana que dice: Adobe Media Encoder. Exe - No se puede encontrar el componente Error al iniciar la aplicacion porque no se encontrò processcooditanionclient. Dll. La reinstalacion de la aplicacion puede solucionar el problema. Aceptar. Ahora bien antes de instalar el adobe premiere de prueba ya yo tenia instalado after effects cs4 de prueba y el adobe media encoder funsionaba muy bien... Realmente no se que ha pasado quisiera su asistentencia para que me ayuden al respecto ya he desinstalado en instaldo ambos programas tanto adobe premiere com adobe after effects en 2 oportunidades y solo el after effect funsiona pero el premiere y el encoder no.... Tambien lo incicie como administrador y nada sigue igual... Gracias por la ayuda que me puedan prestar al respecto

Al igual que en el foro de Premiere en inglés, deberías facilitar detalles como:
Version de sistema operativo.
Algun detalle de hardware como tarjeta grafica, memoria, etc. o confirmar que has comprobado que todo tu hardware es compatible con la aplicación
Parece ser que a veces los programas antivirus dificultan o impiden instalaciones, prueba a deasactivarlos mientras instalas el programa.

Problemas con Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5

Recientemente adquirí el Programa Adobe Premiere Pro. Version CS5.5, ya he echo varios vídeos, ediciones, cosas sencillas. Pero recientemente me surgió un problema: Prepare todo para realizar una edición de un vídeo de graduación, cuando importo el vídeo, ya sea del CD-DVD o de la misma computadora, y lo arrastro hasta el timeline (así creo que es que se llama no estoy segura, pero me refiero al área en donde se edita el vídeo) el vídeo se importa sin problemas pero al ponerle play el audio que se escucha es el audio de un vídeo que anteriormente se había editado en el programa. Les pido por favor que me ayuden a resolver este problema lo mas pronto posible.

Here is what one of the Nvidia folks said when a similar question was asked elsewhere:
"That’s right; a Quadro 6000 and Tesla C2075 are not identical but they are very similar and you can expect similar performance. There are a few reasons you might want to use a Maximus configuration for Premiere Pro rather than a single Quadro 6000:
1. Having both a Quadro and Tesla GPU in the system means when the Tesla is cranking full-out on Mercury Playback Engine the Quadro is unaffected, so you can, say, open After Effects or other application that may take advantage of the Quadro, and system performance on that app will be better than if it was competing for resources with MPE on a single GPU.

Having a problem downloading Adobe Premiere Pro trial.

After clicking on "download now" on the trial page of Adobe Premiere pro I get the Adobe Download Assistant dmg (Which I've downloaded 4 times.) But when I open it it gives me the error message above. Help! I have an imac.

Problem with Adobe Premiere pro cs3 3.0

Hello there! I have this odd new problem in adobe premiere cs3 that i havent encountered before and ive tried to solve it but cant =/
If i import a picture into the project it lies there like it should ready to be dragged onto the timeline, the problem is the preview of the picture and the screen when i drag it into the timeline is black.. i cannot get the picture to appear as it just keeps being black, ive tried diff sizes of pictures, the only pictures that ive found that works so far are the windows example ones..
Answers Asap are appriciated, its a wedding movie and has to be done by tommorow night..

Can you download and install G-SPOT and run those problem files through it. Tell us what G-Spot tells you. That article, that John T. linked to, should have some details on G-Spot, IIRC.
It is likely that the CODEC is not one that is properly installed, or one that PrPro can use to edit. The good things about VLC Player is that it's free, good and carries most of its own CODEC's. The bad thing is that playing an AV file is not the same as editing that same file, and so a test in VLC will only tell you so much.

Having Problems with Adobe Premiere Pro CC

Alright, So I downloaded and installed the Creative Cloud. I'm trying to download the Adobe Premiere Trail because I'm thinking of buying the product. However, After waiting so *******(Excuse the language, you have no idea how frustrating it is) long to download, I'm not sure if it's downloaded or not. It tells me it is installed, but the program won't open. I've tried uninstalling the program to try reinstalling it again, but it just gives me this "1% to 99%", yet it still keeps telling me that it is installed into my computer. I don't know whether or not it installed because I had to wait long hours for it download and it kept getting errors each and everytime. Now it says on my creative cloud that it is "up to date". Why won't it open? Can anybody please tell me? Does it have to do with system requirements? I have a 32 bit sony vaio laptop. My dad has a 62 bit dell laptop and it works very fine. Please help, I don't know what to do.

Urgent friends ,, video playback problem in adobe premiere pro cs4

i have installed pro cs4 , i converted a mov video file as wmv file and imported in the procs4,,,, the problem is when i play the video in the time line (ie.in the editing pane ) to edit the video,,,, its getting stuck.... the video is abt 40 sec, but after 2o sec its getting stucked and play..... what is the problem friends pls help me....

Smooth playback can depend on many factors.
First, converting to WMV is not the best choice, as WMV's are heavily compressed, and require more "horsepower" to decode and work with. If your material is SD, say 720 x 480 for NTSC, the DV-AVI would be a better choice there.
Rendering the Timeline, if one has red lines above the Clip(s) in the Timeline, will get playback, as smooth, as is possible.
One's computer can have a big, big impact on how well one can playback the Timeline. Can you list the complete computer's specs.?

Errors opening a project in Adobe Premiere pro CC 2014 from previous version

Hello!
I have a problem with Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014. I use Adobe to edit my film project and from the last time I updated the CC to CC 2014, it shows me an error message (Pic nr 1). When I want to continue and save that, Premiere CC 2014 shows me another message(Nr 2). but next time when I want to open that, it's impossible ... (Nr 3).
I didn't change or remove anything. The problem started after I updated the program. Even now that I want to open the project with previous version of CC 2013, its showing me the same errors...
Do someone have any idea about it?

Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 has stopped working when importing music (Windows 8)

I have a problem with Adobe premiere Pro CS6 on windows 8. When I use Premiere Pro CS6 for the first time, it's doesn't have any problem, but now I can't import music to Premiere Pro CS6 and it's say ''Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 has stopped working'', I don't know what should I do. How to fix it ?

Adobe Premiere Pro CC crush - no Mercury Playback Engine GPU acceleration (OPEN CL)

I was an happy customer of Adobe CC till few days ago.
It were a few weeks I did not update the software in CC due to a problem with connection.
Needed to use Premiere Pro CC. It always crushes my MacBook Pro retina 2012 (16 giga ram) during export of the video. The monitor became black and there was no way to restart.
The Macbook worked smoothly with all the other softwares. Deleted CC and reinstalled everything, which was quit painful. However, at the end of the day, Premiere Pro CC works but I cannot use Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (open CL) which I used all the times before with huge advantage (exporting a 1 minute video in good quality needed 2 minutes with GPU accelerator, 20 minutes without).
When I open old project of Premiere Pro cc I read this message "this project was last used with Mercury Playback Engine GPU acceleration (OPEN CL), which is either not available or not certified on this system. Mercury Playback Engine software only will be used". There is no way to change the rendered from Project setting - Mercury Playback Engine software is the only option.
My question: is it a problem with Adobe Premiere Pro CC or with my graphic?

Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 Confusion

Hi guys,
I have very basic problem in Adobe Premiere Pro CS3. When I import video it's size is scaled down and quality is rapidly droped down. When I export it quality is very bad and my video have a black frame. How would I keep the quality and get rid of black frame?

The great little utility, G-SPOT will tell you what FRAPS is Exporting. What you are seeing is a disparity between that FRAPS footage, and your Project Preset. They must match 100%. You will most likely need to set up a Desktop Project and adjust the Frame Size to match your footage.
Also, going back about a year, there were several long threads on FRAPS footage into PrPro. I would Search this forum for "FRAPS," and read. There were some good tips in those. One was quite long, and used to have some neat flight-sim screen-caps, but last time that I looked, the images were no longer up on the OP's server, so they will be missing now - the discussions were all still there.
