Problem after running Activation-Bypass tool

I have just purchased a Palm Pre Plus. I installed Java and the latest webOS SDK on my computer.
I then flashed my Palm with webOS Doctor and ran the Activation -Bypass tool.
After reboot my screen has "Check SIM-SOS only" written across the top and pictures of how to install a SIM card roll across the screen.
Would someone be kind enough to let me know how to get back a normal start screen

Are you a developer? Perhaps this question would better be asked in the dev forum at Palm's Developer site.
You list your main device as a p100una (AT&T) yet now you say you have a different model? What version of webOS doctor are you looking for? 1.4.5 for AT&T hasn't been released yet...

Torn Movie Logo after "Run Active X"

Example : Utube movies still run in their box but the Quicktime torn movie logo comes up after clicking Active X box.
Im using Windows XP Pro and downloaded Quicktime a month ago along with the new update of Internet Explorer when the problems occured.
Also steaming videos (even when I've de-checked "streaming" under MIME settings) have the same error logo...
I'm a bit frustrated and haven't seen any help except for web servers html issues. Thank you

Lumia 800 crash problems after running Network Set...

Long post coming up but if somebody at Nokia reads and makes sense of it and a fix comes about then it'll have been worth it.
Phone: Nokia Lumia 800 (sim free)
Firmware: 11500
Location: UK and Ireland
Since I got my Lumia 800 (November) I've been traveling between UK and Ireland a lot.
The phone works fine in the UK but in Ireland, when I put in my three.ie sim the phone keeps crashing during network related operations such as coming out of flight mode or reading/replying to a text message.
It's not a dodgy sim because this is the third one (I get a new payg sim each month) and this problem has occurred throughout.
At first I noticed that I could not configure the phone where MMS and internet data worked at the same time. If I added the 3internet APN then data worked but MMS didn't. If I deleted the APN then MMS worked but data didn't.
Another problem with this phone in Ireland was that it kept crashing whenever I took it out of flight mode. Again, this did not happen in the UK with my UK (Three network) sim.
As this has been happening from the first days that I got the phone I've been looking for a solution/workaround the whole time and I remember one of the first bits of information I found was somebody suggesting that the phone worked fine with the first sim inserted (which in my case was the UK sim). That stuck with me and when the Network Setup app (from Nokia) appeared I thought "ah! this makes sense, now I should be able to switch sims".
Unfortunately the app did not fix the problem of not having a unified network configuration for data and MMS.
This week I bit the bullet and reset the phone with the Ireland sim inserted. O...M...G...!!! Internet data AND MMS now work (in Ireland) and I have not gone anywhere near the APN configuration.
I used the phone for an hour surfing, checking emails, sending texts and MMSs, all was good.
Then I thought about the Network Setup app and wondered what it would do, so I ran it. The very next incoming text message crashed the phone! Then I rebooted and found that internet data did not work.
Next I repeated this process. Reset phone with three.ie sim inserted, checked that internet data and MMS worked (they did), ran Network Setup, internet data no longer worked, opened an incoming text...it didn't crash.
So, not a reproducible problem
Next test: flight-mode toggling. This one IS reproducible.
Location: Ireland
Sim: three.ie
Fully reset phone.
Before running Network Setup: flight mode toggles=20, crashes=0
After running Network Setup: flight mode toggles=20, crashes=12
Fully reset phone again.
Before running Network Setup: flight mode toggles=20, crashes=0
After running Network Setup: flight mode toggles=20, crashes=11
Fully reset phone again.
Before running Network Setup: flight mode toggles=20, crashes=0
So now I'm not going to run Network Setup, I'll head back to the UK on Friday and see if my phone continues to work properly with my UK sim.

Phone just crashed when coming out of flight mode and I have not run Network Setup.
MMS and internet data are working though so I'll just not use flight mode at night...or on planes

Problem after CIN activation

I have installed CIN 40A in 4.6C and activated in a client which is exact replica of 000. After activation two transport request were generated. I have transported it into another pre-customized client i.e. 001, but CIN is not working fine and i am facing problems as i descibed next.
Problem: When i go to transaction SPRO>Financial Accounting Global Settings>Tax on Sales/Purchases-->Basic Settings in that "settings for Tax on Sales/Purchases in India" is not coming.
After CIN installation and activation we need to do some other changes in transaction SPRO to reflect these things or not ??
Please help me in this regard ASAP.

Problems after running "rejuvinate my system" - PLEASE HELP!!

Dear all, I have recently tried the “rejuvenate my system” program in an effort to get my x61 back to its original start-up and working speed. For that purpose I have chosen the earliest back-up available which was made only a few weeks after I started using my thinkpad. The good news is, I managed to restore the original start-up speed. The bad news is that quite a few things simply stopped working. For one, I can’t open the control panel at all. Then I can’t connect to the internet because my notebook won’t “associate” with the modem. Also, it doesn’t recognize my usb-stick anymore and is asking for a cd with drivers which – as you might already assume – never existed. I am sure that there are many more problems that will become apparent over time. Only that I have not noticed them yet… Anyone else with similar problems? Or maybe even a solution? If not, can I get my thinkpad back to its slowed-downed and working stage? Thanks a lot for your help!!! It is much appreciated… (btw… it’s running on windows vista basic) red

alright, let's start from scratch. do you have a cd drive handy. do you have factory restore discs. the first step i guess is to get you online. i keep a pcmcia adapter handy when i load an operating system into a computer that i'm rebuilding. that way i can get online to the manufacturer and start loading drivers. they're cheap, 20 bucks at staples or cheaper on ebay. sorry, you can't get online to get to ebay. walmart has them and kmart has them. but you have to load the cd onto your computer somehow. so you need a cd drive. once you are able to get online you are gonna have to go onto the lenovo site and do a search for drivers for your model computer. i would stay away from the bios updates. (imbedded controller system) drivers. on your computer, open control panel, system, hardware, devices and see which ones have the yellow tags beside them. these are what you need drivers for. i would start with your broadcom drivers and wireless drivers. I guess i should have asked you first how you usually get online to begin with. are you wired to a router or do you get online wireless. i hope wireless, then you can use the pc adapter i talked about earlier. this should get you started. i hope it helped at least a little. i'll check back and see how you're making out. i've been where you are and it's not a happy place to be. good luck.

Problem after running out of battery.

My MACBOOK PRO running on OS X Lion shut down the other day after completelly running out of battery. Ever since, I have started having problems with my browsers. Certain pages such as facebook wont load aswell as videos. On top of that it keeps asking me to verify the certificates of any page I want to go to and it keeps telling me that my date and time have been set to 1.1.2008 (although i changed it back the first time i saw it and since the date is still alright).
What do I have to do?

After charging at least overnight try the remaining items of:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Problem after running upgrade to 6.0.1.3

Hi guys, I've been using Itunes for a while with no problems. Last week I downloaded the update to 6.0.1.3 ( I was at 5.0.1.4), I ran it but it just froze a couple of screens after the license agreement. The problem now is that since I also patched the Mini that day now ITunes gives me a message that it can not connect to the IPod. Any ideas? Ran a few searches and found some problems that sound similar but can not find a solution.

URGENT Please: Problem after run autoconfig patch(Advanced_Inbound 5505631)

First I must say that I am new on applying patches on Oracle applications.
I have just applied a patch for Advance Inbound 5505631. The patch went well with no error. I check the Applications and the patch was already in place.
But when i run the autoconfig, it give me some errors and now i cant start APPS
One is that the concurrent manager don’t start(CONCSUB failed due to ORA-01017). I have change the xml file from GUES/GUES to GUES/ORACLE, but still no start.
I think the problem was not the patch itself, but other issue
My system is Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.0 and Linux

Wireless Network problems after running VZ Speed Optimizer

Good Day and thanks for reading!
This issue may sound improbable but, please hear me out. To begin my network has 2 Windows 7 x64 PCs connected to the modem/router via Ethernet, a wireless laptop, a wireless PS3, 2 android smart phones and a tablet running on Wifi. (usually not all at the same time)
Everything had been working properly until I recently did a clean (re)install of Windows on one of the PCs with a wired connection. After getting back to the desktop I did a couple required updates installed Norton 360 then downloaded and ran the Verizon Speed Optimizer (http://my.verizon.com/services/speedoptimizer/fios/).
This was the first time I'd ever ran the vz speed optimizer, I only did it on a whim.. I figured it couldn't hurt. The program only took a second to complete and everything seemed normal at first; internet speeds seemed as fast as normal.
It wasn't until next day I noticed all the wireless devices in the house started having connectivity issues whenever that PC was running; even at idle. The PS3 would drop the PSN connection regularly and take forever to reconnect, the tablet and phones download speeds were unusable and also intermittent. I could shut down that PC, restart the tablet/PS3/etc and have them working normally.
After a little research I ended up re-running the optimizer program and at the end clicked 'undo settings to defaults' hoping that would resolve the issue. Afterwards I unplugged the modem for 60 seconds hoping a reset would put everything back to normal but it hasn't.. When that PC is running, everything else on the network has constant connectivity issues.
Is it possible the speed optimizer program did something to the wireless settings of the modem, or somehow gave that one Windows PC dominance over the network? I was under the impression the optimizer would change a couple local settings on that machine. I can't think of a reason why it would effect the entire network, (most evident on the wireless devices).
Any ideas or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

I promised I would post a solution to this if found so..
As I set up my wireless laptop next to the wired PC in preparation to call Verizon tech support, I remembered a handy app I had on my phone.. Wifi Analyzer.
I checked the range of wireless signals the the app picked up and low-and-behold, there were two new wifi signals of decent strength operating in the same channel (1) that I was set up in! (I hadn't checked this since I first set up my router over a year ago and the apartment building next door is always getting new people)
This was totally unacceptable! The app showed that channel 11 had only a single, very weak signal in the area and recommended I switch to that. After logging into the router and doing so, it was as if all the wireless tech in my house was instantly given new life!
I could once again be downloading a game from Steam on a wired PC, steaming netflix on the wireless PS3, watching a YouTube video on my phone, all while the wireless laptop was downloading (way too many) windows updates.
Solution: Regularly monitor the amount of congestion in the channel your wireless is operating in. This is especially important if your reside in or near a rental/leasing property that often has people moving in and out.
Changing the wifi channel on your router is easy, fast and not scary at all. It could save you a lot of headaches.

Find My Mac problems after icloud activation

Has anyone else had the following problem.
In the icloud system preferences it will not allow me to tick the (find my mac) box.
It is giving the following message.
FIND MY MAC REQUIRES A RECOVERY PARTITION.
Some configurations, such as software or hardware raid, do not support a recovery partition and can't be used with find my mac.
Any help would be appreciated.

Problem after Enterprise Activation

For various reasons, i had to reactivate my 8700 yesterday to connect to the enterprise server, which i had previously been connected to for over 2 years. Now when i get email off the bb server, they all have alternating, diagonal read and white stripes where there were none before. This is only on enterprise mails - all other emails are fine, no background. it kind of reminds me of using stationery in pc based mail programs if that helps picture what i am saying. i looked all over the device, this board, with no luck so far. any suggestions? thanks in advance for any insights on this.

Problem after 10.6.6 update! MDS running from the start on activity monitor

Hello,
I have a iMac late 2009 and yesteday <unfortunately> I did the update 10.6.6! Before everything was working great cause I care the system with clean my iMac and other applications everyday and mostly I use recording programs like Pro Tools. After update the restart came and iMac's CPU was jumping at 20-30% without touching anything! I saw on Activity Monitor and <mds> was running! I want to ask what is that and how I can remove it and not running all the time. I close it from Activity Monitor every time the system starts but I want to remove it and don't see it as it wasn't before! After reading other topics, I did verify and repair permissions from Disk Utility and Mac Osx disc but mds starts when system boot.

This problem started happening to me on both my iMacs as well. I have a brand new 27" 3.06 Core2Duo which started to experience boot and shutdown problems after running the 10.6.6 update. My 21.5 3.06 Core2Duo (have had for just over a year) is suffering quite a bit more. I had noticed extremely sluggish behavior and many cases of the spinning wheel of lost hope. I run MenuMeters, so noticed a higher than usual CPU utilization - looking into Activity Monitor, mds was taking between 30% and 50% of my CPU.... ordinarily that shouldn't be a problem, but since that is Spotlight's indexer, I imagine there was IO contention. I plan on removing Bootcamp this weekend (don't really use it anymore thanks to Parallels 6).
Additionally, I have experienced horrible WiFi performance on both iMacs since updating. I have seen a few mentions on the Internet about this, but no real official acknowledgement. My icon in the Menubar indicates that the connection is still solid, however, I'm unable to resolve websites, etc. I assume that it is losing its connection momentarily to my router, and not reresolving with DHCP upon reconnect. This problem seems to be pretty repeatable when I use Fast User Switching... Anyone else having this problem? I have ruled out my router, as my Windows box and Linux laptops have zero issues. I hope Apple is resolving this issue -- making me eat my words when I told my wife that we HAD to go Mac since its so much more reliable!
