Problem after uploading user defined characterstic schema in product catalo

Hi friends,
We were using SRM 5.0 and CCM 2.0, we were uploaded Master catalog through .CSV file, Product catalog schema through .XML and user defined characteristic schema through .XML file separately. System given message catalog updated successfully. But when I observed in product catalog user defined characteristics are removed from the product catalog the content of these fields is also wiped out from the items. Once the catalog was in this state, I mapped it to the Master Catalog and all the user defined characteristics show up in error. What could be the cause?? can any body Help (Urgent)

WRT610N v1 Problem after uploading wrong firmware

Hello
I thought to upgrade my WRT610 wireless modem with the latest image. Unfortunately I believe I had a version2, and download the latest firmware of this version.
After uploading the firmware it doesn't pop-up with a screen that the image was successful and after waiting 30 min. I reboot the router.
Now the router initialization fails (power light is flashing) and I find out that I have a WRT610 version 1 router.
Reset to factory default with pushing the reset button for 30 sec and turn off the power for the same amount of time doesn't solve the problem. I can't access the GUI to configure the modem. I can ping the default ip-address 192.168.1.1.
Can somebody inform me if it's possible to access this modem in ROM-mode with telnet or ssh to uploade the correct firmware via ftp? Such a the big brother Cisco routers?

Upgrading router's firmware with wrong version can damage the router.As the Power light blinking on the router,
You may try upgrading the router's firmware using TFTP utility....Download 44.3 KB the tftp utility and save it on the dekstop....
Follow these steps to upgrade the firmware on the device : -
Double click the TFTP.exe file and click run.
For Server- Enter the IP Address of the router that you assigned. By default, the router is 192.168.1.1...
For Password- Enter the password you assigned the router. By default, the router's password is admin.
For File- Click the triple ??? button and browse for the .bin firmware file...
Click Upgrade button to start upgrading. A progress bar should show up to show the
progress.
Once the Upgrade is done press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router if the power light stable....if the power light still kept blinking then router will not work

i created nearly 25 userdefined fields. after that b1 is not allowing me to created further, I like to know any restriction is there to create or kindly give me the solution to create.

You need to create the table using the SDK...if not the User defined field manangement setup cannot open it table will be inconsistant constraint with the table...
For adding the table through SDK check the SDK Help...

Problem with creating User Defined Fields

Hello,
I have a big problem on one customers db. Everytime when user logs in SBO, he got immediatley after login message, that db structure was modified and user must click OK to continue (close all form - in this case is still no form opened).
I tried to uninstall all addons to be sure that its not addon related but when is only clean SBO there, the message still pops up. It seems that somewhere in db is stored that this message must pops up.
When I copied this db localy from custromer, the message still occurs.
Is here someone who met this prolem and solved it?

Madhan: Just FYI - Petr is one of the Senior Implementation and SDK consultants who has spent a long time on the product and I am 100% sure that he knows the basics you are pointing to very well.

you must really make sure that you have performed support level 1 and level 2. If not, the SAP support will be happy to bill the message about 80 euro.

Hello,
It is possible to create user fields using SDK on anykind of table but, sometimes in some Tables, adding them causes integrity problems and B1 cannot create the document of the Table, you can try that, but if there's an error when adding the bank statement you should erase it from the OBNK table using SDK again.
I've tried this on MRV1 (Inventory Revaluation Lines) and IPF2 (Landed Costs, Costs), when I tried to add the document (Inventory Revaluation or Landed Costs) appeared an error and B1 could not create the document, so i had to remove them with SDK again and the error was solved.

In addition to Suda's reply, we have also created 3 UDFs in the service type document of purchase order but there is no item code. it is okay you use item code UDF but actually it won't give effect if you use the 3 udfs in the purchase or sales order documents, although actually we assigned the following FMS I will give. Why I said this because user always asks how to make automatic movement of 3 UDFs to the next documents (GRPO service and A/P invoice service). I suggest to assign the 3 UDFs you made to invoice directly.
Try to use this another code to make Total (LC) become automatic update after you fill the qty and unit price;

Access privilege problems after transferring user to computer

I gave my flat screen iMac (lamp-shade version) to my parents when I bought a new Intel Core Duo. They had an older iMac. Both their old computer and the one I gave them are running 10.2.8. I connected the computers with a firewire, created a new user (with admin status) and transferred their user info onto my old computer. It all seemed fine, except now when I log on as them all of the applications have access privilege problems. Is there a global way for me to give them read and write access to everything?

You may need to post this in one of the older iMac forums iMac (CRT) or iMac (Flat panel) where someone may still be running OSX which is that old. As you may realize with your new iMac and 10.4, much has changed.
Are you sure that when you sign in as the administrator and go to System Prefs/Accounts and view your access to the account that you created for them there are no access limitations?

Problems after changing user folder name

Hi everybody,
My pc had a problem with the HHD so I needed to send it back to the repair centre. During the reparation the company created a user called 'user'.
Since I had a backup that had to restore data in C:\Users\Andrea I changed the user's name as in this guide http:// superuser.com/questions/495290/how-to-rename-user-folder-in-windows-8 (I followed the step: 'I have
already logged into that account' since that was my situation.)
Now when opening Windows Update (only the desktop version, while the metro version works fine) I got this error

Create new user account with administrative privilege and try Windows Update.
If same issue, follow the steps to solve.
Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative tools > Services
Stop the Background Intelligent Transferring Service, Cryptographic Service and Windows Update service.
then goto C:\Windows rename the Software Distribution folder as Software Distribution.OLD
Reboot the PC.
Now you can try Windows Update.

2 problems after uploading site to server

I posted earlier but don't think I was very clear. I built a site in Iweb. It works perfect and displays perfect in Safari.
With Explorer 3 things are happening. 1) my quicktime movie is not pulling up, not even the symbol or the place holder. 2) i have a contact form that I got through wufoo and the only thing that shows up is the title and the submit button, none of the questions. 3) the iweb nav bar is not showing up?
Ive gotten several calls from people about this because I advertise on google. Some have no problem, a lot do. Is this a Iweb uncompatability issue? I just called godaddy where its hosted and he said he was able to pull it up.
the site is www.tv750.com i am totally new to building sites and hosting so I very well may have screwed something up. I changed the html code "height" for the wufoo form as they suggested but still the same problem. so frusturating.

Here's a method I used for an iPod transfer to a new PC.
Look at your Windows Desktop and create a new folder called ipodbackup. Right click and choose, New > Folder, then rename it to ipodbackup
Now go to iTunes Preferences and check the following options:
'Keep iTunes music folder organized'
'Copy files to iTunes Music Folder when adding to Library'
Now double-click on 'My Computer' from the windows desktop
Choose, Tools > Folder Options, Select View Tab
Choose the option 'Show Hidden files and folders', choose OK
Now from 'My Computer' right click on the disk icon for your iPod, select COPY
Now from the 'My Computer' icon, open the folder on the desktop called ipodbackup, then right-click and choose PASTE
Wait for all you iPod data to copy onto the computer.
Open iTunes, (make sure the earlier Prefs are set as I said!)
Choose File > 'Add Folder to Library' Select the 'ipodbackup' folder from the Windows Desktop
Wait for iTunes to finish transferring all the data in the iTunes Library on the new PC.
Check though the Library to confirm all albums/tracks are there.
Playlists didn't get rebuild by the way.
After everything looks good, you can delete the 'ipodbackup' folder on the Windows Desktop and SYNC the iPod to the new iTunes Library.

Autentication problem after importing users in osx.5 server

Hi All, I was able to import users to OSX.5.8 server using passenger from macinmind.com but my users could not authenticate. When I create one user at a time the users are able to authenticate. Help i am pulling my hair out.

Rather than importing in Server.app you could try using Workgroup Manager.

logger.debug(s + ".dump(): " + s.dump());and if i comment line (data._struct.setNChar(1);) the debug messages for created STRUCT also shows empty value for label.
But if i explicitly call data._struct.setNChar(1) then debug contains the label i defined in call to the setLabel method.

ALV view : Problem with user defined views

Dear Experts,
We are facing a problem pertaining to user defined views for a ALV table that we have in SAP eRecruiting application in webdynpro ABAP. The problem is as follows.
There is a candidate application ABC & only ONE person can edit this at a time.In this application ABC there is a ALV table.
If the user clicks on this application & navigates to the ALV,this ABC application is in normal/edit mode(no one else has opened this ). So, the user can make changes in ABC. In the ALV, he can click on the 'settings 'button and save the STANDARD view as his own user defined view(by adding or removing columns).
If the user opens the application ABC in display mode(implying that someone else has alraedy opened ABC for editing), when i navigate to the same ALV,the user CANNOT see the views which were saved in the edit mode.Only the standard view is displayed. The user however has the option to again freshly save a view.
The views created by a user for this ALV should be seen irrespective of the application being opened in normal or display mode.
To add to the confusion, this problem is occuring only in some systems & not in others. There is atleast one system where the views are displayed correctly to the user.
On debugging, the table wdy_conf_user has config ids as different where the user views are stored separately for display & edit mode.
In systems where the user views are displayed correctly, the config id is one & the same ensuring that the user can see all his views irrespective of the mode of the application.
Any thoughts on how we can rectify this?
