Problem Alerts with Lenovo Solution Centre (Thinkpad B50-30)
Hello All,
I am experiencing problems with the Lenovo Solution Centre on a brand new Lenovo B series laptop B50-30 Windows 8.1.
First off upon booting the laptop for the first time I was getting an alert message for the warranty saying. it was not available.
I thought this may have been due to the fact that on warranty status, the start date was incorrect. I did email a copy of the receipt and the date has now been corrected. However, I am still getting an alert in the Lenovo Solution Centre saying warranty not available (please see first picture).
I looked around the web and found one solution that involved uninstalling Lenovo Solution Centre, rebooting, reinstalling Lenovo Solution Centre and rebooting but that hasn't helped.
In fact now, I am getting two alerts. The same warranty alert again and one about storage devices (please see second picture).
The Lenovo Solution Centre is saying that a partition on the hard drive has less than 9.5% available (third picture) but as you can see in the fourth attached picture there is plenty of space. I have only had the laptop a week and there is hardly anything on there.
Can anyone help?

The alerts about low available space in a partition showed up with the latest version of LSC.
There are 2 other posts here with the same type alert message.
Maybe the next release of LSC will address the issue (bug).

Lenovo Solution Centre - Software updates: How to recognize which software to update?
Hi,
I have Lenovo Solution Centre v2.4.002. When I am inside "Home" section, it indicates with "!" symbol above "Updates" picture that I have some software unupdated.
So I go into "System" section where I see number 1 above "Software updates".
When I click on "Software updates" there is only this information: "Go to Lenovo's Website to update the Lenovo software on your system". But I do not know WHICH software I have to update. Lenovo Solution Centre does not told it to me.
Please, how to recognize WHICH program/driver is out of date and therefore LSC ask me to update it.

It's a manual process. You'll need to open up Device Manager on your machine, double-click specific devices (such as Audio), switch to the Driver tab, and there you will see what version is installed. Then you can look at what is available in the driver matrix and decide if you want to update a particular driver.
The general wisdom is that it may not be necessary to update a driver unless your having a specific problem, or the driver adds some new desired functionality. This is especially true for BIOS updates.

G580 Lenovo Solution Centre can not show me the warranty period
For some reason, the program Lenovo Solution Centre can not show me the warranty period, as the model of the motheboard is not detected ... On the site of Lenovo - product registered as a detective in the Netherlands.
How do I register my laptop and what could be the problem?

Welcome to the Forums.
The Lenovo Solutions Centre Requires the serial number to show the warranty information. If the software is not able to read it, this may be the problem.
You may get the latest version below and you may register the product using this link.

Unable to install / upgrade or remove Lenovo Solution Centre
I'm getting following error while installing/upgrading or while removing lenovo solution center. I googled for the error code & found the links with windows installer error issue. But my windows installer is working good and could able to install all applications except lenovo solution centre.
I tried to delete directory and to install the newer copy but still getting this error.
Kindly guide me to remove it completely(maybe registry items to be removed ) and get it freshly installed.Was your win7 install a Shipped lenovo install or win7 from box store install?
LSC current is version 2.0.020, released march 20, 2013.
If you used system update, it MAY not offer the most current release.
LSC MSI install log is in C:\Users\YOUR id\appdata\local\temp\LSC.log .
If you used factory install version of LSC, it is old.

(1) Some lsc version wont execute, lets say factory version.
(2) Upgrade/reinstall of some version of LSC, does msi failure, 1721.

(1) error 1, you need to perform your first backup IE RNR, windows backup. dah, backed up weekly for 18 months (rnr) . error 2, You do not have enough space to perform a backup operation.

155 GB free on my second HDD, my backup drive. SHOP NOW. Last incremental was 328 MB.
(2) warranty expired (correct), Benefits to product registration ( did that in 2008). Register NOW. But it knew i had a 3 year warranty.
(3) Hardware scan recommended. Thank you, 1 correct, Still using pc-doctor.
(4) You have windows update set to not auto install. correct.
(5) Adobe-air self updated on the 2nd launch of LSC.
IF you 1721, you ahead of the game.
Just download the hardware check LSC (linux). Need ISO burner software. download Memory check if you wish.
My 1st year on current, 2GB memory failed, mouse failed, DVD burner failed. POS-lsc, point of sale? Use your favorite seach engine , search POS if you wish.

Problem with Lenovo Solution Center for Windows 8.1

I reinstalled my Laptop. I wanted to install the Lenovo Solution Center for Windows 8.1 (64 bit).
(I installed it with the necessary administrator priviledges.)
But it didn't work.

Problem with HP Solution Centre

I understand Solution Center is not working for you and you cannot scan after installing the printer by disk. I would suggest trying to download and run the install from the HP website to see if that helps.

Lenovo Solution Centre Small Business Maintenance
The model is a 3347 (ThinkPad Twist) running Win 8 64 bit. The version of the Small Business Solution Centre being run is 1.1.27.5565 (which by the way has not been posted in Downloads).
Four jobs are to run after hours: namely, After Hours Maintenance, Disk Defrag, Delete Cookies, and Delete Temp files. The first is run daily and the others weekly. The machine is supposed to wake up to run the tasks (whether powered off or sleeping). The problem is the jobs fail to run with only a "task incomplete" notation. There is no entry in Event Viewer to explain the failure. I can run the tasks manually without a problem.
I also note that the first job is not listed in Task Scheduler but the other three are, under Intel. Nonetheless all jobs fail to run as scheduled. The machine has been plugged in at night.
My first thought was to reinstall the program but I can't find this version for download. Suggestions?This is going straight to downhill
I found update to Intel Management Engine for Win 8.1 here:

So now I get rid of that annoying update box that thold me tu update IME but now whole Lenovo Solution for Small Business program wont work anymore -
Exporting SCOM Performance, Problem Alerts with PowerShell to CSV?
Is there a way to export System Center Operations Manger Performance and Problem Alerts to a CSV with the number of Counts and Milliseconds for the application that caused the issue?
When using System Center Operations Manager to gather performance events on applications, it would be nice to be able to export this data out to Excel.
Is there a PowerShell script that is available to export different event types? For example with for a performance alert or a problem alert, or highest usage.
Using System Center 2012 R2.

I dont have a powershell script , But surely have a SQL query which will pull the performance data from the operationsmanager DB.

You will need to mention the Object name and counter for what you are looking for and in the path mention the agent name.

Lenovo Solution Center - Sugar Sync- uninstall
Since uninstalling Sugar Sync, Lenovo Solutions Centre reports under Device Manager that there is a problem with the driver StorLib Bus. When I check in Device Manager, Storage Controllers, Microsoft Storage Spaces Controller, the device is working correctly. What needs to be done to LSC to make it not report a problem that probably isn't there.

I’m sorry to inform that it is a false indication from Lenovo solution center. Since Windows doesn’t detect any missing device drivers within the device manager, there is no driver that is missing.
If the warning keeps popping up, change the reminder settings to “never”. Probably, you have to wait for an LSC update in which the bug would be fixed.

You should you run the Lenovo system update, that you can download here:
http://support.lenovo.com/en_IN/research/hints-or-tips/detail.page?LegacyDocID=TVSU-UPDATE
It may not find any package for your system, however: after it bombs out, and you close the app, it will get rid of the warning "!" on the interface.

Error 1721 on repair/uninstall/reinstall of Lenovo Solution Center Windows 8 64-bit
Hello,
I am seeking a solution to a problem with Lenovo Solution Center on a Lenovo W530 machine running Win 8 64-bit.
It was not updating the warrantee information, and so I attempted an install with the newest version of the program. It refused to uninstall. Lenovo support then decided that the best approach was to eliminate the directory containing the program.
Now I still have the program listed in my installed programs, but there is nothing I can do with it. It does not appear on my desktop (not surprisingly) but does not uninstall and using the new install package does NOT provide the option of install, but solely to uninstall or repair, neither of which works - giving the error 1721 message.
Next steps? (Tier 2 was to phone me over 1 week ago - no call....).

Go to Solution.After trying al the hints without effect, the last hint with the "MS FixIt"
-Tool finally solved the problem!!!!!
It found 2 older {xxxxxxxxxxxxxx} registry entries from 2 former manual
updates which caused the problem. I had to run it 2 times for removing all
error-causing problems.
After that ,the last version of the Lenovo Solution Center Windows 64-bit
package was able to install perfectly and is now running without any
problems .
This solution I was looking for the last 3-4 months!!!!!!!

Please navgiate to the drivers and support center of lenovo and select your product and before downloading you may check that you have downloaded the same setup of your model as in g580 there are some models such as 20157 and please install 2.3 solution center it is availble for download. Can you tell about your OS Version? -
9 days and counting with no solution...thanks verizon
8/24, all three of my tvs start experiencing pixelation where the screens constantly cut in and out along with the sound. I try the support center provided through the menu section. I try all trouble shooting methods and none fix the problem. The next day 8/25 I call verizon customer support for assistance. The gentlemen that answers has a thick accent that is very hard to understand when he speaks english so I ask to be transferred to someone who speaks english as their primary langauge. He indicates that it is impossible for him to do that so I hang up and try again with another call.
The second call leads to the next technician testing my line and restarting my tv boxes. This does not fix the problem so we schedule a technician to come out to my house. The next available time would be from 4-6pm on Wed (8/28). I was told the technician would call thirty minutes prior to arriving at my house. About 5:28pm on 8/28 i recieve a text message that my request was closed. No one ever showed up at my house and my tvs were still not fixed....I call customer support at 5:48 and ask why my request was closed, I was told that the technician found no one at home so he closed the request...I was at home the entire time anxiously waiting his phone call and arrival. Without explanation I was told my option was to make a new ticket and schedule another day for service...Needing this problem fixed I have no choice but to schedule another service date so the next available is Fri (8/30) from 2-4pm. I take off work again and sit at my house for two hours. I recieve a call from a blocked number at 3:35pm on Friday and the call drops. Minutes later I receive a voicemail notification. It's the technician telling me that there are multiple requests for service in my neighborhood so my problem is not isolated to my house. He said they were aware of the problem and would have it fixed soon so there was no need to come to my house.
Now to Sunday morning (9/1), the problem is still not fixed so another call is made to customer support. I tell the technician the problem and the history. He doesn't seem to listen to what I have told him and tries to give me steps to troubleshoot the problem.(this troubleshooting had been done 3 previous times) I ask to speak to a supervisor which he does not want to transfer me to. Eventually he puts me on through to a supervisor who doesn't listen to my actual problem but just assures me that the technician can troubleshoot the issue. (He cannot because I had already tried to troubleshoot the issue with other technicians)
So here I am 9 days from when the problem started with no solution. No management that can take care of my issue or really seem to want to take care of my issue...Directv here I come!Hi PleaseJustHelp,
Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. I would like to request you to reinstall the Lenovo Solution Center to resolve the issue. Please uninstall the current version of Lenovo Solution Center from uninstall or change a program option from control panel and install the latest version of LSC.

Lenovo Solution Center Windows 10 On Thinkpad Edge 15
Just upgraded to Windows 10. Ran Windows Update from Control Panel a couple of times. However, the Lenovo Solutions Center alerts showing Windows Upgrade never done. When I click on "launch" or "Windows Update" nothing happens. The is on a Thinkpad Edge 15. I was hoping to find a download for the Lenovo Solution Center software thinking I could delete it and then download it and reinstall to solve the problem. Obviously if there is another way that would be nice to know.
