Problem Assing Message Type to RFQ

Hello.
When I create an RFQ, and then I assing Output type NEU to print, the system create the RFQ without the Output type.
Basically create the RFQ without Output type, like if a never tried before.
I reviewed my configuration and Output Type NEU is assigned to RFQ.   I think is maybe I miss some security parameter.
Please I appreciate any help.
Regards,
Hector

check the following config
SPRO-MM-Purchasing--Messages-Form-Assign for and output program for RFQ,
SPRO-MM-Purchasing--Messages-output comtrol-message type-define message type for RFQ
Messate determination schema for RFQ
and MN01
the above config and MN01 has to be maintained to have this for RFQ.
Than check security (authorization) using tcode SU53 in ME41 tcode

  • Problem in Message Type of Partner Profiles - IDOCS

    Hi everyone,
I have created two Partner Profile's in WE20 attaching the corresponding Message Type with them. I have transferred one Message Type from one Partner Profile to another. When I save the model in BD64 and Generate the Partner Profiles from there I see that ''SYNCH" message type also gets added in the target Profile.
Can you please suggest why it happens and how to rectify this problem so that "SYNCH" message type does not get added anymore.
    With warm regards,
    Sandeep Panja.

    Hi,
U can see SYNCH message type in all the partner profile.
The monitoring object is located in the same client A function module is called locally In this case no further Customizing settings are required
    ·        The monitoring object is located in the same physical system but in a different logical system (client):
In this case you have to assign an RFC destination with a dialog user to the message type SYNCH in the current client for the client to be monitored.

  • Inbound problem for message type WPUUMS

    Dear all,
I want to receive the IDOC data for message type WPUUMS from a java server. Currently i am working on sample values for segments
    E1WPU01
    E1WPU02
    E1WPU03
    E1WPU04
    E1WPU05
    E1WXX01
I am facing problems in passing the correct values .
Its throwing a error message status 51.(Application document not posted) IDoc not fully processed.
can you help me with some dummy data for all the fields in the above segments.
    reply ASAP
    regards
    arun

You have to analyze where exactly the problem is.
There are several reasons why the Idoc did not post:
    1) The Data you are sending to post document may be wrong. You may have to validate against valid data in Database.
    2) Thre may be some mandatory data which you are not passing through IDoc (Idoc data may be missing).
It is not possible to answer a generic question like this with perfect answer.
Best way is to debug and find out why exactly the problem is, if you know the error message (you may see it in Status record of this IDoc).

  • Problem in Message Type in Distribution Model

I am trying to add a message type to a Distribution view(TCODE BD64). I am doing this on the R3 side. So it is asking for Message Type and it looks like I can't just type anything in there. Actually I am just trying to implement the starter kit mentioned by Arpit Seth(/people/arpit.seth/blog/2005/06/27/rfc-scenario-using-bpm--starter-kit). File to RFC scenario. as simple as that. For that I am using RFC BAPI_COMPANY_GETDETAIL. Now tell what message type I need to use

    Hi Sonia,
If you are in change mode.
Then you need to create a model first.
Once you create the model you can add Message Type, you need to specify the sender & receiver.

  • GOA distribution problem with message type COND_A

    Hi All,
we are facing problem to transfer the GOA from SRM to R/3.
When we check with RZ20 we can trace error saying Processing of IDCs of types COND_A02 in the system XXXXXX canceled.
Is there any idea regarding this?
    Regards,
    Nav

    Hi Nav,
you need to implement Badi BBP_CTR to map the conditions used in SRM with the ones in R/3. Within the Badi there is an example for mapping. Also there are some threads here explaining the mapping. Have alook at Note 646903 - Global outline agreement: Tips and tricks explaining in detail how to implement these BADI's.

  • Settings for system message type in MM

    Hi,
In spro--> Define Attributes of System Messages, there are many message types are there.
If we see from the dropdown, many are not showing in the main screen but they still work in background when while doing transaction if some input is wrong.
for example in purchasing, application area 06, message type 131- RFQ for vendor & already entered, is not appearing in the screen. but when we are created RFQ twice for the same message system throws error.
Likewise many messages are there, even we donot maintain still they pop up.
how we know which message we require to maintain in the screen and which not.
like what example I have given works autonatically for transaction.
I think there may be some messages where user doesnot have control at all, what ever way you set is either W or E, system determines how it is defined in programs.
I table T100 more than 600 messages are there,
can somebody guide me on approach to work with messages. It is quite confusing.
    regards

    Hi Pallavi,
Actually some of the Messages are self explanatory in the application of the Programs.
These W/E Messages are included in the basic programs of the Transactions which runs in background to execute the transactions, if a user makes any wrong entries which afffect the proper execution of the program the system will throw these messages which means  some data is not flowing properly.
Go to SE91 and enter the Message class/Application area and you will find all the Message number related to that Application.
At the end you will find one check box called self explanatory some of them will not displayed in the drop down list at Define attributes of system messages in IMG settings.
So means you don't have the option to change these messages as per your requirement like Warning or Error messages.
    Hope you understand.

We are trying to post a FB01 using a IDOC message type - FIDCC2 and struck at error message -
<b>Accounting transaction not permitted for posting in FI/CO
    Message no. RW029</b>
When i try to post directly using the exact data in the IDOC, through FB01, there is no problem.
Debug showed that the error is in the following -
    Include <b>LRWCLF01</b>
    check business process
    SELECT SINGLE * FROM t022 INTO ld_t022
    WHERE activity = t_acchd-glvor.
    IF sy-subrc IS INITIAL.

    ELSE.
    MESSAGE e029 WITH t_acchd-glvor.
    ENDIF.
If this is not the right message type to use, can you suggest any other message type? FB01 we are trying to post is a simple GL posting, no tax, no withholding, etc. IDOC is just a 2 line posting.
    Any help/advice is highly appreciated.

  • S/A bridge problem: No object type found for the message

    Hi all,
I've been spending days looking into the following problem. I have a RFCXIFile scenario. The R3 system sends data via an RFC to XI and XI post the data as a flat file on a certain server using FTP.
This scenario worked just fine for 1 exception. I could only run this scenario once. The second time I got timeouts when checking the data sent to my RFC destination using SM58. When I reactivated my RFC communcation channel I could again send 1 RFC to the system. All subsequent tries would fail.
I guess this is due to the fact that I use a synchonous call (RFC) to an asynchronous one. Thus the adapter is still waiting for the response from the XI system and will not accept any further new calls from R3.
So I figure let's use this pattern called the S/A bridge. So I designed everything according to guides and examples and I'm quite certain everything is configured right but when I run the scenario I get the following message:
    <i> <!--  Call Adapter
      -->
    - <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="">
      <SAP:Category>XIAdapter</SAP:Category>
      <SAP:Code area="BPE_ADAPTER">UNKNOWN_MESSAGE</SAP:Code>
      <SAP:P1 />
      <SAP:P2 />
      <SAP:P3 />
      <SAP:P4 />
      <SAP:AdditionalText />
      <SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage namespace="" />
<SAP:Stack>No object type found for the message. Check that the corresponding process is activated</SAP:Stack>
      <SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry>
      </SAP:Error></i>
It seems that the adapter cannot find any integration process to send the message into!?
I've looked at numerous threads on sdn and tried all kinds of stuff (looked at the cache==> code 0 = OK , tried to reactivate my integration process, checked the interface determination,...), but to no avail. Does anybody has an idea what could be wrong ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated for I'm all out of clues....
    Bob

First of all, Thank you for trying to help me out here.
    Some answer to your suggestions/questions:
The IP has return code 0 in SXI_CACHE. so that doesn't seem to be the problem.
I've checked the BPM for syntax errors. I doesn't have any.
I've reimported the BPM into the integration directory.
And did a full cache refresh in SXI_CACHE. Return code is (stays) zero, so that's OK.
I've already included the error message from SXI_MONI. It is in the last step ("Call Adater") that the error occurs.
The other steps execute just fine...
The RFC communcation channel accepts the incoming RFC call and puts into the pipeline, so no problems with the communication channel either. the problem is actually when the pipeline is trying to forward the message into an IP trhough the BPE_ADAPTER (according to SXMB_MONI).
Therefore I'm not able to go to into PE, because the workflow is never started. the BPE_ADAPTER does not find any active process for the interface determination i've entered.
So i can not debug the IP in the PE and check container variables, like some of you mentioned.
Maybe some more information about the scenario:
The RFC is called from an R3 system to XI over the interface "CONTROL_RECIPE_DOWNLOAD", which is an imported RFC, with a request and response message type.
Then I got a receiver and interface determination with lead the incoming RFC message to the IP, into interface "XI_ERP_MF_MD_CONTROL_RECIPE_REQ_AI_MI".
This is an abstract synchronous interface based on the request and response types of the "CONTROL_RECIPE_DOWNLOAD" imported RFC.
This interface is used the first step (receive) of my BPM as the synchronous interface to open the S/A bridge.
The message (container var)  used in this step is
    name: CORREQ
    Category: Abstract interface
    type: "XI_ERP_MF_MD_CONTROL_RECIPE_REQ_AI_MI"
The interface "XI_ERP_MF_MD_CONTROL_RECIPE_REQ_AI_MI" is an abstract, asynchronous interface based on the request type of the "CONTROL_RECIPE_DOWNLOAD".
Then there are 2 send steps for putting the flat files into place and finally i close the the S/A bridge using message:
    name: CORRES
    Category: Abstract interface
    type: "XI_ERP_MF_MD_CONTROL_RECIPE_RES_AI_MI"
The interface "XI_ERP_MF_MD_CONTROL_RECIPE_RES_AI_MI" is an abstract, asynchronous interface based on the response type of the "CONTROL_RECIPE_DOWNLOAD".
I hope this information gives you guys a better understanding of hte problem.
Really looking forward to see more suggestions and to solve this nasty problem ...
    Regards,
    Bob

    Hi,
I'm facing a problem in idocs. I'm sending idocs with message type ORDRSP and idoc type ORDERS05, but for some reason in SAP, the idoc is always picking up a different message type ORDERS and the partner profile part is failing because my partner profile is set up for ORDRSP message type. Is there any setting or transaction that sets a default message type for an idoc type in SAP.

    Hi vihay,
yes for the message type ordrsp the basic type is orders05.
u r telling ur geeting problem in inbound idoc?
if that is the case then u have to use in we20 inbound parameters and give the processcode(ORDE) there instead of basictype .CHECK the same and get back to me if any quries

  • Hi Problem with LSMW-IDOC message type COND_A(COND_A02)

    hi Experts,
I am using LSMW-IDOC to create the condition record for transcation code(XK15) when i am executing i am generating successfully idoc i can see the updated vales in TK15 tcode, the data base is getting updated the problem is the scale id is increaminting automatically i should increament the scaleid i am passing the scale id that scale id should be displayed in Tk15 but the scale id is increamenting.......
    its urgent requirement...

    Hi,
Thanks. But still I don't see values.
I have a question in chang pointer.
When I change the values in the table( Segment data ) for IDOCs, an IDOC should be generated
Other words, When I change any application, an IDOC should be generate.
What should I do, I think Change pointer is required for this to geneate idoc for change of application/data.
In BD50 I see the change pointer is active for my custom message type.
May be I'm  misunderstanding about change pointer.
    can you help me out.

  • Problems with PROOF field in idoc (message type HRMD_A)

    Hello,
I'm using the standard message type HRMD_A with IDOC base type HRMD_A06 and the function module IDOC_INPUT_HRMD.
I have a doubt with field 'PROOF' when I fill the IDOC. Does anybody know for what is it used? For example, what's going to happen if I put PROOF = 'X' in an update operation?
In my case I have tested that when PROOF = 'X', I receive the following warning in intotype 0001:
The EMPLOYEE_ORG_ASSIGNMENT-ADMINISTRATOR_GROUP field is not maintainable in dialog, so it is ignored

The EMPLOYEE_ORG_ASSIGNMENT-COSTCENTER field is not maintainable in dialog, so it is ignored
but I cannot be sure if these warnings are due to PROFF.
In the change data record screen, I have filled the following fields: plan version ('01'), object type ('P'), object id (employee number), PROOF ('X'), Operation ('U'). Structure for the idoc is EDIDC->E1PLOGI->E1PITYP.
