Problem Audio Driver couldn't install at all

Dear friend,
i have recently brand new lenovo laptop series G470, with Windows XP service pack 3,
but i'm having trouble in installing audio driver, which i have tried several times and still not worked,
does anyone here could give me some advices.
thanks
adj

Some Lenovo "driver install packages"
(the file you downloaded)
extract the files to C:\drivers\sound.. folder or similar.
Check if you have such a folder, and if so, run the Setup.exe
file within that folder.

  • Realtek HD Audio Driver Not Completing install - error message

Could I just say first that I am far from being technical minded so please allow for possible lapses in info.
Just done another complete reinstall of Win XP - formatted drive etc.
However unlike on previous instances the Realtek HD Audio driver has not installed.
I have downloaded the latest version - 5.10.0.5605 but this too at  very near the end of installation gives the message Install Realtek HD Audio Driver Failure [Error Code 0xE0000227]
I have the G33M Series MS-7357(v1.X) Mainboard with Intel Core 2 Duo
Hope this is enough info to anyone to offer advice.

  • Realtek HD Audio driver disappears after installing an ATI Radeon graphics card

My Realtek HD Audio driver disappears (from both the Vista "Sound Manager" and the "Device Manager") and is replaced by an ATI HD Audio driver after installing an ATI  Radeon 5450 graphics card.  I've tried un-installing the ATI Audio driver and re-installing the Realtek Audio driver.  But, upon rebooting, Vista automatically re-installs the ATI Audio driver (and the Realtek Audio driver, which I just re-installed, is no where to be found after rebooting).  I'm using an HP a6110n desktop running Windows Vista.

    Hi:
I bet you were unpleasantly surprised by that!
    The fix is simple:
Go into your system setup (BIOS) using the F10 key.
Find your device configuration menu. In that menu there should be a setting for your onboard audio. It is probably set to Auto.
Change the setting to Enabled. Hit the F10, key there and again when you save your settings and exit.
Now your onboard audio will be back and your HDMI out audio on your graphics card should work too when you need it.
What happened was when you installed the Video card with HDMI out, there is an audio chip on the video card for HDMI. The PC sensing a new sound card, just disabled the onboard sound card because it thought you didn't want to use the onboard card anymore.
Changing the BIOS setting to enabled tells the PC to use the onboard audio card as well as any others you may have installed.

  • Envy 14-3017NR no Audio Driver After Recovery Install

    Hello,
I'm looking for a help. I have performed a clean install of Windows 7 trough booting into HP Recovery Manager (F11 thing). It installed the OS and all other drivers seems to be OK except there is no driver for the audio at all (none of the built in speaker or jack-output will actually work).
I've been trying to install the audio driver from HP Support & Drivers page, from the HP recovery manager software. I have also tried to install multiple times the Intel chipset driver and then attempting the audio driver installation.. No success.
Moreover, I cannot seem to find the Beat's audio interface that was installed initially after unboxing the machine. The beats and trackpad-locking lights are also not functional on the laptop body itself... Am I missing something or what? Your response would be much appreciated! Thank you.
I'm attaching an image of the error I'm getting when installing the driver trough HP Recovery Manager software.

    Hi,
    Try the following.
Download the IDT Audio installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.
    http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp57001-57500/sp57195.exe
When done, open windows Control Panel, open Device Manager and open up Sound, Video and Game Controllers.  Right click the IDT device and select Uninstall - you should also get a prompt to remove the current driver, tick the box to allow this and then proceed with the uninstall.
When complete, shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then perform a hard reset for your Model as detailed in the document Here.
Next, tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to launch the Start-up Menu and then select f10 to enter the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the defaults ( this is sometimes f9, but the menu at the bottom will show the correct key ), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.  Press f10 to save the setting and again use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.
Let Windows fully load - it will automatically load an audio driver, but just let this complete.  Then open your Downloads folder, right click on the IDT installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation.  When this has completed, right click the speaker icon in the Taskbar and select Playback Devices.  Left click 'Speakers and Headphones' once to highlight it and then click the Set Default button - check if you now have audio.

The Microsoft UAA driver for Windows XP 64-bit must be installed before you install the audio codec.
Here is a location for the audio codec.

  • H67MA-E45 - Audio driver will not install

    Hello,
I look very much forward to suggestions how to install audio drivers for mainboard H67MA-E45 under Windows XP SP3.
After the hotfix KB888111 was installed, the Device Manager shows "Other Devices/Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus" (four of them show up).
I tried to install the latest audio driver 5.10.0.6151 (Windows XP) from MSI's web site, but I always get the same error message: "The hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software". I have looked through all available catalogues to find the missing files, without success.
    Regards
    Adlon

Thank you Svet, I tried the following suggestion but it did not work:
    "Do this:
Go to device manager, then expand "System Devices", and locate "MS UAA bus" Right click over it, then click "Disable".
    Reboot and enter in "Safe Mode", {hit "F8" just after bios post screen}
Once done go to device manager then expand "System Devices", and locate "MS UAA bus"  Right click over it, then click "Un-install".
Reboot PC, then run Realtek driver installation again."
Instead of "Other Devices/Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus" the Device Manager now shows "Other Devices/Unknow device (four of them)"
Same message after trying to install the audio drivers "The hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software".
I also tried to install the audio drivers after I had changed from version SP3 to SP2 in the registry, but no difference.
    Any more suggestions?

    hi karthi2lenovo,
    Welcome to the Forums.
If the conexant audio drivers from the lenovo website doesn't detect the device, can you try to:
    1. Open Device Manager (press Winkey+R > type devmgmt.msc)
    2. On the device manager, open Sound, video, and game controllers and Other Devices then check the status (if there's a yellow exclamation mark, error codes, etc.)
    3. As an alternative, try this conexant driver from station-drivers:
    Conexant High Definition Smart Audio
    Version 8.64.59.52 (Win8)
    Let me know your findings,

  • G60-audio drives won't install

have tried to install drivers for audio on  G60-519wm they won't install any help. running win 7 home premium 32 bit

    Hi Stu
The original recovery media can be ordered by authorized Toshiba service partner in your country. If you want to find out more contact them. Addresses you can find under http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_gaspLocator.jsp?pf=true
By usage of Microsoft full version installations CD you can download all necessary drivers, tools and utilities from Toshiba download site. There are no download limits and all stuff on download page is for everyone.
Toshiba policy is that you buy unit and OS with valid license. Toshiba dont force nobody to use just delivered OS. You can do what you want and install your favorite OS (if delivered with Home you can install Pro version). Because of that all drivers are on download page.

  • I have a toshiba computer with a new hard drive. when i installed itunes, all of my purchased music appeared. now i can only find it in my account history. how do i get my purchased music to appear in my libary again?

    hello

Media is only where the user puts it.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old drive or the backup of the computer to the new drive.
Installing iTunes has never caused media to magically appear on a computer.

  • No Audio Driver Code 52

    Hello,
I came back from my High school class, and sat down to chill out after some tiring work.
I opened up my lid to find my audio driver was missing, I tried all the re installs but to no avail, and I didn't want to factory reset because important work. It was a Code 52 and 2 audio drivers in the control panel had a caution sign on it.
    Help would be appreciated.

Also, can you check the following registry key:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E96C-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
At that registry key, in the right window, is there, under "Name", either an UpperFilters or
    LowerFilters value?
If so, for each of the UpperFilters and/or LowerFilters value, what is listed under "Data"?

    Hello all,
My product is the HP ENVY TS 15 Notebook PC.
    Product number: E3B65PA#AR6
    OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit
A few days ago, I  upgraded my windows from windows 8 to windows 8.1 and found that no sound coming from the HDTV when connecting my HDMI cable however video is perfectly fine. I was completely baffled because the audio was working perfectly fine before upgrading to Windows 8.1. I have tried several solutions posted on other forums, such as installing other drivers, and uninstalling the IDT High Definition Audio Driver and then scanning for a hardware change. I have checked the HDMI cable and it is working fine with other laptop.
Device manager is showing 2 device :
High Definition audio device ( Showing yellow traingle)
      IDT High Definition Audio CODEC
When I am opening the properties of High Definition audio device it is showing :
This device cannot start (code 10)
    {Operation Failed}
    The requested operation was unsuccessful.
If anyone knows how to fix the problem, please help me
    thanks in advance

    Hi:
The IDT audio driver (notebook speakers) appears to be working fine.
The problem is probably with the Intel graphics driver which  controls the HDMI audio.
My recommendation would be to install the latest Intel graphics driver from the link below and see if that fixes the problem.

have you tried to install drivers on safe mode or manually?
after you locate the .inf file for the driver that you want to install, manually install the new driver. to do this, follow these steps:
    - click start, right-click computer, and then click properties.in the tasks pane, click device manager.
    - if you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click continue.
    - in device manager, locate the device for which you want to install the driver.
note to display hidden devices, click show hidden devices on the view menu.
    - right-click the device, and then click update driver software.
    - click browse my computer for driver software, click let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer, and then click have disk.
    - in the install from disk dialog box, click browse, locate an .inf file for the device driver that you want to install, and then click open.
    - follow the steps in the update driver software devicename dialog box to update the driver
