Problem bei Importieren von Clips mit Premiere Pro CS4

Hallo Leute,
also ich hab ein versucht ein Videoclip zu importieren, aber dann kommt immer eine Fehlermeldung, dass der Codec fehlt oder nicht verfügbar sei. Also hab ich mir gedacht, ich brauch QuickTimePlayer um das Ganze abspielen zu können. Also Quicktime heruntergeladen und wollte ein Videoclip abspielen. Das Komische daran ist, dass ich nur den Ton höre, und das Bild ist komplett schwarz. Und mit Premiere kann ich den Clip immer noch nicht importieren... Was brauch ich denn für nen Codec, dass ich die Clips importieren kann?
Also die Clips sind von ner Videokamera mit imovie heruntergeladen worden (so hat mir jemand erzählt), und hat die Endung .mov.
Ich hab auch schon DivX heruntergeladen und kann die Clips auch nicht damit abspielen.
Das wär super, wenn ihr mir weiterhelfen könnt. Danke.

Ich habe dein Problem mal am Mac getestet:
Zuerst über den Media-Browser dann .mov Datei auswählen und in das Schnittfenster ziehen,
bei mir ist jetzt eine funktionierende Sequenz mit Film und Ton vorhanden siehe Screenshot:
Es kann aber auch sein, dass du Video und Audio Signal einzeln in das Schnittfenster einfügen musst.
Ist es möglich, dass deine Videodatei beschädigt ist?
Da zumindest Quicktime deine Datei immer abspielen sollte.
Leider kann ich dir ansonsten nicht mit deinem Problem weiterhelfen.

Probleme bei update von ProductTrees mit DTW

Hallo zusammen,
ich habe ein Problem mit dem Updaten von ProductTree via DTW.
Es sind bereits Verkaufsstücklisten an Artikel angehängt, diese sollen jetzt geändert werden.
Die Templates sollten Ok sein sein. Hier mal ein Auszug:

Wenn Ich das ganze jetzt per DTW versuche hochzuladen, bleibt der DTW einfach stehen. Selbst nach 30 Min keine Änderung.
Es ist nur noch möglich DTW abzuschiessen.
Gibt es irgendwelche Vorraussetzungen um die ProductTrees zu ändern?? (Keine offenen Aufträge etc..)

hast du das Problem nur beim Upload von Wareneinstandspreisen bzw. hast du den Upload schon mal an einer anderen Station probiert.
Ich selbst habe schlechte Erfahrung mit Komma getrennten Dateien gemacht. Versuch mal Tab oder Semikolon getrennte CSV Dateien. Weiterhin ist es sinnvoll die Templates der DTW zu nehmen und die nicht benötigten Felder leer zu lassen.

Problem with video playback in adobe premiere pro CS4

Whevener i am to put something into my video. Via it be either A fraps recorded video or a video shot by my camera... i put it in the library and drag it to the stage. then when i play it in Premiere the video just stays as a still picture but the audio plays. It does this with 2 methods i tried (Fraps and my Photosmart M537 Camera). I asked My uncle (who had the same problems with CS3) and he said that hes pretty sure theres something wrong with the Codec. I think thats it because when i put in my video that i had recorded with Hypercam 2. it worked fine. Could anybody please help me?

If that is a STILL camera which has a video mode, you most likely need to convert to DV AVI type 2 with 16bit 48khz sound

How can you remove multiple gaps at one time between clips in Premiere Pro CS4?

I know about Right Click and Ripple Delete and Edit > Ripple delete - but this only works on 1 gap at a time. What about several/many gaps at one time? Please help!

Suppose you have track 1 filled with clips and gaps.
Drop a color matte or transparant video or what ever, in track 2 and stretch it over the selection of gaps you want to delete.
Select everything in that selection in track 1 and drop it in track 2 on the color matte. Don.t deselect and drop it back into track 1.
Track 2 is now filled with pieces of color matte superimposing the gaps.
Select everything in track 2 and ripple delete.

Picturesize problem after Rendering a timeline in Premiere Pro CS4

Hello,
I currently work with 4.1.0 and have the following problem. When I import Tif sequenze 1280x720 as film, first the film looks correct. The red line above in the timeline says that the sequence is not rendered. When I render now this timeline by pressing the Enter-key, after rendering the content looks zoomed in the preview and on an output monitor the picturesize shrink to approx. 70 %. But there is no effect on this track. This happens simply with original tif files. When I use JPEG files the problem does not exists. So I presume a problem when processing tif files. Do you know problem like this?

Grafikkarte für Premiere Pro CS4

Habe auf meinem Rechner mit Premiere Pro CS4 und Schnittkarte Matrox RT.X2 die Grafikkarte ASUS EAH3870 installiert. Habe nur Probleme damit, laufend Abstürze und nach dem Start sind die Fensteranordnungen bzw. Darstellungen nicht richtig. Habe jetzt die Vermutung, dass meine Grafikkarte die Ursache ist. Wenn ja, welche Grafikkarte wäre die beste Lösung??? Ist ein Accelerator notwendig???
Habe Betriebssystem Vista Ultimate, Intel Core 2 Quard Proz. Q9650 3 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 1x250GB und 1x 750GB int.FP, 1 x 1 TB ext.FP.
Bin kein EDV-Mann, bitte Antworten die ich verstehe. DANKE

Hallo Gottfriedius, vielen Dank für deine Raktion. Mein Problem ist noch nicht vollständigt gelöst. Abstürze habe ich direkt keine mehr nachdem ich mein RAM von 4 GB auf 8 GB aufgerüstet habe. 4 GB RAM reichen mit Sicherheit nicht aus, denn ich habe nach dem Start von CS4/Matrox RT X2 mit Vista bereits eine Auslastung von ca.3,8 GB auf RAM.ohne dass ich mit dem System arbeite.
Ob nach dem Austausch der Gradfikkarte das Problem vollständig gelöst ist kann ich noch nicht sagen, denn ich war bis 3.1. im Urlaub und fangen jetzt erst wieder an mit dem Video. Da ich erst seit einem Jahr mit dem Video angefangen habe, bin ein totaler Neuling auf dem Gebiet und auch kein EDV-Mann und auch schon ein älterer Herr mit 69 Jahren, habe ich jedoch bereits ein Treffen mit meinem EDV-Berater auf den 12.01.10 vereinbart. Vielleicht gibt es bald eine Lösung. An Matrox scheint das Problem nicht hängen es muss ein CS4-Problem sein. Von Adobe bekommt man ja keine Unterstützung die spielen den Ball mit einem Fragenkatalog immer wieder zurück. Auf viele Fragen habe ich gar keine Antwort.

Premiere Pro CS4 lahmt?

Hallo alle zusammen,
seit einiger Zeit schneide ich hobbymäßig mit Premiere Pro CS4, habe aber leider noch nicht ganz so viel Ahnung Ich hoffe, jemand kann mir bei meiner Frage helfen.
wie gesagt, ich nutze Premiere Pro CS4 auf einem 8GB-RAM PC. Das Programm an sich läuft reibungslos.
In meiner neusten Projektdatei habe ich nun aber eine Sequenz, die sehr umfangreich ist (viele Schnitte, viele Effekte - zwar nur knappe 4min lang aber trotzdem gut bestückt). Leider musste ich feststellen, dass ich, wenn ich bspw. Keyframe-Werte ändere, jetzt tatsächlich "warten" muss, bis die Änderung sozusagen vorgenommen ist. Wenn ich mehr hinzufüge geht das sogar soweit, dass das Programm kurz "keine Rückmeldung" mehr anzeigt, bevor es den Wert geändert hat.
Meine Frage ist nun: woran liegt das? Liegt das an der Hardware oder einfach an dem Inhalt der Sequenz (bei allen anderen Sequenzen ist das nämlich nicht so)? Kann ich evtl Einstellungen ändern, um das aufzuheben?
Habe mich zwar schon ein bisschen da umgesehen, aber nichts hilfreiches entdeckt....

Na was keyframest du denn? Deckkraft? Effektparameter? In dem Fall muss natürlich jedes Bild neu berechnet werden und das kann eben schon mal dauern...

AVCHD 1080p mit 50fps in Premiere Pro CS4 importieren

Mein Camcorder liefert Dateien im Format AVCHD 1920x1080 mit 50 fps. Welche Einstellung muß ich in Premiere Pro CS4 vornehmen, damit ich diese Dateien bearbeiten und an Encore CS4 weiterleiten kann? Mein Ziel ist es eine bluray-disc in bester Qualität zu brennen.

Danke für die Info. Habe meine Files in eine Sequenz mit Einstellung AVCHD 720p 50 fps importiert, dabei musste ich die Clips auf Framegröße skalieren. Danach war eine Ausgabe in Encore mit MPEG-2 und 1280x720 und Framerate 50 möglich. Bei meinen vielen Versuchen hat das die beste Qualität auf der bluray ergeben.

Premiere Pro CS4: Kamera Vorschau bleibt bei Aufnahme ohne Anzeige

Hallo Forum,
hab hier schon nach meinem Problem gesucht, jedoch noch keine Lösung finden können.
Folgendes Problem:
Beim Importieren eines Clips von Band (HDV über FireWire) bleibt der Vorschauscreen ohne Content. ich muss jedesmal über den winzigen Kameramonitor editieren. das nervt. Mac OSX wurde vor kurzem aktualisiert, vielleicht liegt es daran, denn vor Wochen lief noch alles und ich habe die primären Einstellungen nicht geändert. Vielleicht arbeitet hier auch jemand mit OSX.
Hardware zur Fehlersuche:
MacPro 8x 3.0 GHz, 8GB RAM
OSX Version 10.5.7
Kamera Canon XL H1a
Ich hoffe jemand kann mir einen Tipp geben, vielen Dank im Voraus!

Bei mir klappt's einwandfrei. Lediglich die Szenentrennung funktioniert nicht.
Überprüfe an deiner HC1 doch mal STD.EINST. > VCR HDV/DV. Hier muss "AUTOM." oder "HDV" eingestellt sein.
Ausserdem sollte das Band in der Kamera ausschliesslich HDV-Material enthalten.

I am a new user of PP CS4 and I have created a short 2 1/2 minute clip with no problems.
I have selected all the appropriate setting as per Adobe PP CS4 "Classroom In A Book" instructions.
Exporting the clip as a MPEG2-DVD, NTSC 720x480, 29.97 Drop Frame Video.
Main Concept MPEG Video, Variable Bit Rate.

I downoadet the setup, installed all the software, but when i wanted to run it the first time, adobe sayd: You have to estart your computer, if hat doesnt work ask our support...mistake (dont know what the right word for mistake code is) code is 131:4, now i hope that you can help me by installing the software in the right way!

Na was für'n Computer? Hast du den Neustart auch wirklich gemacht? Warum CS4? Klingt einfach so, als ob du das Ganze mit unzureichenden Benutzerrechten gemacht hast und somit die Installation nie richtig fertig wird...

Premiere Pro CS4 Crashes When Importing HD Clips

I've used Camtasia forever but recently decided to "upgrade" to Premiere Pro when I got my new Macbook. Not being familiar with Premiere at all, I thought I would play with it with a few short clips. I have HD footage of my martial arts class which I shot with my Canon Vixia HG20 and copied it to my Macbook. However, when I imported a few clips into Premiere Pro and try to play it, it hangs. It will play one or two clips and then it stops responding after that.
All in all, it's only about 2 minutes of footage that I've put into Premiere Pro. I have no problems putting the clips into the Timeline but when I try to preview the clips (either in the source monitor or the program monitor windows), Premiere Pro gives me the little rainbow pinwheel and 20 minutes later, it's still spinning around. I bought a 500Gb external hard drive to use as the scratch disk because I thought maybe it was a space issue having everything on my Macbook but I still get the pinwheel. My only solution is to force quit the program.
I have a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Macbook Pro on OS X (10.5.6) with 4GB of memory, GeForce 8600M graphics card, and 200GB hard drive. I've read about a of of the crashes on here but didn't really see anything similar to my situation. Any ideas? I spent a lot on Premiere Pro and am not willing to give up on it quite yet.

17 Mbps is still at the high end, but IMHO they should ultimately work.
Very often with AVCHD, you have to play a clip until it freezes, then wait. If you monitor CPU usage during the waiting time, you'll see that it is quite active. The process using the CPU is the ImporterProcessServer, which has to do some kind of magical stuff to the AVCHD clips in order for them to play and scrub in Pr. Once the IPS is done, you should be able to scrub and play the clip just fine.
Usually you only have to do this once per clip, but sometimes more. Sometimes the work that the IPS does carries over between Pr sessions, and sometimes it doesn't.
Smaller frame sizes and lower bit rates in AVCHD video helps make the editing experience in Pr much better.
My hope is that the upcoming 4.1 update will address some of these AVCHD issues.

Premiere Pro CS4 - Problems with mpeg2 export file

I shoud get export a one videofile (mpeg2 D-10, 4:2:2) with 4 audio channels (two stereo track). Audio must be .wav and PCM. The end result shoud be on channel 1 and 2, which has music, effects and narration. Channels 3 and 4, everything else, but without narration. (tv company wants to change narration language).
The problem is that Premiere Pro cs4 connects two separate stereo tracks to one stereo track when I export mpeg2 file. Another problem is that Premiere Pro does not accept PCM audio if I have any multiplexing setting selected. If I select none multiplexing, audio is seperate from the video file.
I have now about 150 test clips with different settings, nothing works...So, please help me! What shoud I do? Is this possible with Premiere Pro CS4 and Adobe Media Encoder? If so, how it can be done?

I don't believe the end result is possible with Premiere Pro alone. You'll have to export out am .m2v file, and two separate .wav files. Then look to other tools to mux them together.

Premiere Pro CS4 and Canon 600d problems

Hello,
Recently I've been having a few recourring problems when trying to edit footage I captured on my Canon 600D on Adobe Premiere Pro CS4.
The footage shot on the Canon is 1920x1080 at 24fps, when I create a setup preset for these settings in Premiere the clips appear to import absolutely fine. The setup Ive created is shown in the screenshot below.
The problems start when I place the clip on the sequence and render it, once the clip renders the playback in the program/timeline preview window goes all weird and doesn't play the clip properly. Shown in the screenshot below.
First of all I thought this might just be a playback error but when I try to export it as a video file it says error and closes down. This is extremely irratating so i wondered if anyone would be able to offer me a soloution. I have a feeling it may be my setup preset but if so would someone be able to tell me the correct way to set it up for a canon 600d camera because whenever I try a preset found within premiere it exports the video at 720 resolution and very low quality.

Ahhh okay that sucks, is there anyway to convert the footage that I already have without drastically reducing the quality as I want my film to be the best quality that is possible?

Premiere Pro CS4 Dynamics Audio Effect Problem?

Has anyone experienced problems with the Dynamics Filter in PP?
For some reason the audio clip that the effect is applied to suddenly quits working at a point in the clip where there is a sudden peak.
If this sounds familiar to anyone I can provide more detailed info about hardware/etc. if necessary.

The solution is very simple,:
This update resolves the question.
This update install modification in dynalic link to support adobe autition3 instead of soundbooth.
This updaye , also adds support for AAF import/export, Apple Final Cut Pro XML project import, and OMF export, along with
numerous other stability and quality improvements. The update is recommended for all Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 users.
An important detail is that this feature only works in Windows. Sorry ´bout the poor MAC software.

Reinstalling all the apllication and if the aplication is standard CS4 (4.0) this acti0on will not resolve the issue.
My recomendation is to install update 4.0.1 and 4.1.0
Others like 420, 421 is apllicable only if demand use of large avc intra, red format and p2 with h264 and other improvments
