Problem Blackberry bold 9000

I have a blackberry bold 9000 and I have a problem. LED blinks continuously. BBdesktop shows me this error: <a href="http://tinypic.com?ref=qwytkg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i47.tinypic.com/qwytkg.png" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>
Who knows how to make it or what to do to me please respond.

You might have to reload your OS. There appears to be a problem with it, otherwise BlackBerry Desktop Software should be able to connect to your phone.  If you have problems getting your phone to connect to the software, have a look at this article:

I hope that helps you.

  • DISPLAY PROBLEM - BLACKBERRY BOLD 9780

Hi. I am having BB Bold 9780. I am facing a problem of DISPLAY on my handset. I can receive the calls, messages etc but I cannot see the screen. I can only see the white light on it. I can connect it to my laptop and it can be detected also by laptop. Please help me with the solution for the same ASAP. Regarsd,PJ

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness shows up, the first thing to try is a proper reboot:With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
If that fails to help, then I recommend that you attempt to boot into Safe Mode:KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in Safe ModeIt may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient. When successfully into Safe Mode, see what happens.
Next think carefully...what happened just before this behavior started? A new app? An update? A Theme? Something else? Think carefully as the smallest change could be causal...and attempt to undo whatever that was.
But if the behavior continues in Safe Mode, then you may need to consider more drastic actions -- WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload, and the "Bare Bones" OS Reload Process. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup to your PC...please review the Backup link in my auto-sig on this post for instructions.
Good luck and let us know!

  • Blackberry Smart Card Reader 7250 and Blackberry Bold 9000 connecting and pairing

As the subject line states, I am trying to connect and pair the Card Reader with the Device.  I am unsuccessful in following the steps to Pair the Device with the Card Reader.
When I attemp to Click Connect from the Security Options/Smart Card/Registered Reader Drivers/Blackberry, and after I enter the reader ID on the device I receive an error "Connection to unknow device fail"  and then it tries to connect 2 more times, and I receive the error "Unable to connect your Blackberry Smart Card Reader. Please verify that the reader is turned on, that you have correctly specified the reader ID, and that the reader is not alreadt paired with another Blackberry.
    Could someone provide some assistance?

I've received the same error. It's a known issue with a batch of new readers.  I called RIM and they said an updated software package should be made available online in the next day or so which will address/resolve the problem.

  • Blackberry Bold, 9000 Series

I have looked everywhere online and visited numerous retail locations with no success in obtaining the release date of the Bold.  I thought it was slated to come out next month. I am wondering if that's accurate and if there is more of a definitive date scheduled.

That is unfortunate to hear.  I guess I won't be a BB user at this time.  I have heard all the horror stories and even my IT department refuses to work on BES because of the issues that it causes.  I thought when I heard RIM working with MS to develop the Bold that critical information with regards to MS Exchange and Direct Push was going to be shared with RIM and in return RIM dropped their BES to help garner more of the cellular market from people that use exchange but don't want to mess with the added hassles of software for this, software for that, etc in order to make Blackberry work within the MS and MS Exchange world.  I am a small business and really can't afford to spend for additional software to make one portion of my business work.  It has to be all or nothing.  I am looking to get four phones to work with my new work tracking scheduling software that works over the cellular network and to have exchange outlook capabilities all on the same device without added software is what I am looking for.  Thanks for the help.

  • Print to a hp8600 from a blackberry bold 9000

What is the best way to print from the blackberry

    Hello Charter,
The best way to print from your blackberry would be through the ePrint feature on your printer. In order to do this you must enable web services on your 8600 printer (You may have to disable and re-enable this if it is already enabled). After doing this you should receive a printout with instructions and a website to navigate to where you can setup an account and register your printer at eprintcenter.com. This will assign your printer its own email address that you should be able to print to from your blackberry.
If I have solved your issue, please feel free to provide kudos and make sure you mark this thread as solution provided!
Although I work for HP, my posts and replies are my own opinion and not those of HP.

  • Blackberry bold (9000)

    Sorry for posting this twice:
What is best practice for connecting bold users on our WLAN environment. We have dual band 1230 AP's. Are there any special setups need to be done?
Subnets to use that will include data and voice.
    Thanks,

    Hi fella5,
Thanks for the response on my request.
Yes, they are internal users and it does meet our encryption and authentication level in our WLAN. However, I want to treat them like how we setup our Wifi Internal users on laptops.
I want to give a different subnet and SSID's have a strong encryption in WPA2 and use one of the EAP protocols other than LEAP.
    Which of do you recommend?
    Thanks,
    John.

  • How to display and type in Chinese on BB bold 9000?

Hey, I'm a new user of BB bold 9000. Just bought the phone from the states, which was distributed by AT&T and it is unlocked.
I have tried couple times by following this post:
    http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Curve-BlackBerry-8300/Chinese-Character/m-p/35515?...
In the aforesiad post, instrucation was given as:
install Desktop Manager without Media Manager on your PC
install the handheld software 4.5.0.174 on your PC (it will install inside the Desktop Manager)
seaarch for a file called vendor.xml and rename it to vendor.xml.toto or anything else
plug your BlackBerry device to the PC, and launch the Desktop Manager
in the application section, you can see the OS of 2) and install it to your BlackBerry device."
Basically what I did was to install Desktop Manager without Media Manager (5.0) version on my PC and installed the handheld software 4.6
I noticed that there's no Chinese language selection (basically no Asian languages) and I then tried 4.6 Desktop Manager which still didn't work.
Also, I am not able to find the "vender.xml", wondering if this has any impact on the application.
What should I install to display and type in Chinese? Any inputs will be appreciated!
    Thanks

    Hey josejr,

  • Blackberry bold and mac

im using a blackberry bold 9000 and a mac laptop, i used to be able to sync all my data but i upgraded my bb tru windows. after that i can't sync the bb to my mac already. pls help. what will i do?

    Hi kiwiinvan,
Could you please try the steps listed below in order to resolve your issue:
    - Try rebooting your Mac and ensure that you log in with an account that has full admin rights.
    - Open iTunes on your Mac and accept any license agreements if prompted.  Also please ensure that you have at least one playlist in iTunes with at least one song in it.  This is required in order for PocketMac to function properly.
    - Make sure you don't have any other sync software installed on your Mac such as Missing Sync or Blackberry Media Sync etc.
    - Try repairing disk permissions by going to Macintosh HD\Applications\Utilities\ and running the Disk Utility application.  Select the Macintosh HD and click Repair Disk Permissions. This process may take a few minutes.  After repairing disk permissions, try synching again.
    - If fixing disk permissions doesn't work, can you try synching one PIM database at a time e.g. just Contacts by itself?  This will determine if the issue is being caused by a particular database.  If you find that you are getting the message on one database only, we would recommend clearing the affected database on the device using the Data Purge utilty and then clearing the sync history on the Mac using Sync Clean.  Please note, this will delete all the entries on your Blackberry, however once the entries on your device have been deleted, you can reimport the data from your Mac back to your device.  To run Data Purge and Sync Clean, please follow the steps 1 and 2 listed in the article below:
    http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB10501
After you complete these steps, please configure PocketMac to do a one way sync from the Mac to the BlackBerry (choose the overwrite device option in Advanced Preferences).  If the sync is successful, reconfigure PocketMac back to doing a 2-way sync.
Please let us know if this works for you or if you have any questions or issues!

  • BB Bold 9000 and BB Tour 9630 QWERTY keyboard

    Greetings,
Does BlackBerry Bold 9000 and BlackBerry Tour 9630 has the same QWERTY keyboard? So I can use the bold keybord for tour and vice versa?
    Best Regards,

    Hello UAEWEB,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums
The keyboard for the Tour is actually smaller in scale than the Bold so you would not be able to swap them.
    Cheers,

  • BB Bold 9000 connection problem on a MAC

    Hi,
I saw a lot of posts talking about that connection but I didn't find any relevant solution which could help me solving my problem.
I tried to connect my BB Bold 9000 on a MAC using the USB cable but nothing happens as if the MAC didn't detect my Bold. The physical connection seems to work correctly because the Bold receives power from the MAC.
I installed PocketMac and the latest drivers (downloaded from http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/mac.jsp) but PocketMac doesn't see my Bold too.
The Mass Storage Mode is activated on my Bold.
I tried to connect my Bold on a PC using  BB Desktop Manager and the connection works correctly.
I also connected a Blackberry 8320 on my MAC and the connection worked directly. The Blackberry Mass Storage immediately appeared on the creen and then the synchronization worked correctly using PocketMac.
The problem seems to be between the Bold and the MAC. I installed the latest drivers on my MAC but the problem is still there.
Do you have any idea to help me because I really need to be able to synchronize my calendar between my Bold and my MAC.
Thanks in advance if you can help.
    François

my service provider is ATT I called their technical support since still within a month then after a long unsucesful conversation with them they were able to transfer me directly to BB support is actually called Reseach in Motion. They have work laborously on my case. Unfortunately seems like I am only run 10.4.11 and can't upgrade that may be my case. but if you just got your phone I strongly reccomend you call your provider. My 1st problem was that it was not even recognizable now I can tell is hooked up but it just won't Synch properly. There will be a new software release soon that "supposed" to fix some of the problems with newer systems. GOOD LUCK, hopefully you got better luck than I do. They are still working on mine!
    but they sure are helpful!
