Upon attempting to purchase Mountain Lion via the App Store, I recevied the following error message.
"We could not complete your purchase.
The product distribution file could not be verified. It may be damaged or was not signed."
Any help here would be apprecaited.

My friend from my Mac bought Mountain Lion, because he wanted to help with installation into Parallels virtual machine. He wanted to try it before he make upgrade. He bought Mountain Lion under his Apple ID. When I want buy Mountain Lion just now under my Apple ID, App Store icon is only Download, not Buy. When I clicked on icon Download, App store show message "You have actualization for other accounts. If you want upgrade this application, log into your another account, which you used for purchase."

Look in the Store pulldown menu. Is the Mac App Store signed into your friend's account? If so, sign out and then sign in with your account.

Creating my own Fusion Drive: Do I need to buy Mountain Lion from the app store to reinstall the OS? Do I lose the iLife apps?

I just bought a Mac Mini (late 2012) with a 1TB HDD and I'm planning to install a second drive, an SSD (Samsung 840 evo) and create the Fusion Drive, and I have a couple of questions:
1- I've read lots of articles on how to do this but I'm not sure if I have to buy Mountain Lion from the app store (to reinstall the OS after I install the second drive) since I'm not able to see it on the "Purchased" list of apps, or if I can just reinstall OS X with OS X Utilities.
2- I read somewhere that if I make my own Fusion Drive when I reinstall OS X I will lose iLife, is this true? Or will I be able to redownload it from the store? I really don't want to lose iMovie, iPhoto and GarageBand and I'm confused about it.

at least that the operator has confirmed to me that he called me. I also have problems with either the start of the mac with the power off. I can not understand if it crashes or is just very very slow.

You are on Windows 2000, you do not have a "Firefox" button, and should consider yourself to be fortunate in that you still have menus and don't have to do anything to get the menus back instead of the "Firefox" button. (The same applies to Windows XP users).

Possible problem downloading Mountain Lion

It appears that a few people have had problems downloading Mountain Lion. Search for title

Since Apple does not provide a DVD disk or any other media for installing the operating system, I am wondering if there is some sort of Checksum that comes with the downloaded file like a PGP signature or MD5 hash? Because if pepople are having problems downloading the Mountain Lion OS that means there is a possibility of corruption of the software after downloading.
How can you confirm the software is completely intact and valid?

1) I deleted the /var/folders/8l folder (gets recreated when opening the app), no result.
2) Tried to check "Best attempt" for both OCSP and CRL certificate management in Key Chain.
No result in any way.
Any idea?

As far as I know the only people not having to pay for Mountain Lion are the ones that have purchased a apple computer after the 4th of june or something. These people get a free upgrade. All others will have to pay for a copy of Mountian Lion.
Do you maybe have a source, which states that others don't have to pay for it, where people that have bought Lion do have to pay?

Some serious problems with Mountain Lion

Hi everyone,
I upgraded my mid 2010 15" MBP to Mountain Lion 2 days ago, and I have some serious problems with my machine now.
- Wifi problem: like many members 's machines, mine has problem to connect to the wifi after sleep or restarting, I had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for it to connected to my home network. Anh I tried to remove all of my settings in System Preferences/Network and added new connection. And now it cant connect to wifi anymore. I'm writing this article while sitting on the floor with my Ethernet cable plugged in my MBP. I connected to internet through a DSL modem and a Airport Extreme as a bridge and Access Point. I also tried to set up all of my network device but my MBP can't connect to the wifi still.
- Keyboard problem with Pages: I was very happy with the new iCloud syncing for Pages documents but after 5 minutes, I met a big problem with Mountain Lion. Whenever I type in Pages with Vietnames Keyboard( Mac OS X built in or from another developer: http://www.trankynam.com/gotv/ ), Pages stops working immediately. I can still drag the Pages's window around but can't type or do any editing. After that I have to force quit pages. It is really stupid that I'm writing a book in Pages and now I have to stop my working till apple fixes this ridiculous bug. I tried German Keyboard as well and Pages worked flawlessly. Do you hate Vietnamese, Apple?
- Messages problem: Since upgrading to Mountain Lion I couln't send or receive any messages. It worked perfectly in Messages beta.
Does anyone have the same problems like me? Any solution such as how to reinstall Messages(I googled but found nothing)
Apple, please test your software more before release it. I feel like I have no computer at the moment because I can't work, can't surfing the web wirelessly and can't communicate with my friends.

I found out that the problem with my wifi was my MBP received automatically a ridiculous IP such as 169.254.170.0 instead of 192.168.1.4 as it should be.
WIll be part of the Issue as will be DNS issues.
mDNSresponder crashed with Handsoff! v1.5.3. After upgrading Handsoff! to v2.0.2, it works again.
In this case mDNSresponder also being stopped will stop DNS working.
I would guess if you have resolved these that you can Chat to people again.

It lets me fill out everything and only after I hit submit I receive an error. Target says it's not their problem. I curious to know if anyone else has tried and receive back an error after hitting the submit button.

Thanks.....I'll try that the next time I get a new receipt from target. My old receipts are older than 72 hours now so I can't try Firefox with them. I appreciate the response and will certainly try this and post a reply if I was successful in submitting the target survey.

1- that message say : during download mountain lion from app stor the mountain lion did not download complitly
     There are missing documents. I did softwere update and get 2 new updates, then i reinstall the mountain lion agen.
    After all its worked so i Decided to follow the installation steps.
2- after installation complete it Request to do restart.
     I did restart to finsh up the installation i get a message in the start up Page

In my case, that would not be possible since before the message I have got , the system said
"We could not complete your App Store request" or something similar. And the only choice I had, is to click on OK button. As I said, the only way I found is to start from Mac OS 10.6 to succeed in buying, not only downloading, but simply buying Mountain Lion.

When attempting to buy mountain lion, "unknown error has occurred" is message when entering ITunes ID and password and am unable to download app.

Why won't the app store use my account balance to buy mountain lion.

I have an acccount balance enough to buy mountain lion but it wont draw from that balance. A screen comes up to enter a credit card or redeem another gift card.

The US prices in the Mac App Store (MAS) do not reflect local sales taxes. Apple collects the sales tax in the final steps of the sale. If the balance does not cover the full total plus the taxes,, then the MAS will need another method of payment, either redeem another gift card or supply a bank card.
