Problem Calling WebService in Form

Hi,
I created a form to call a WebService and works fine in forms builder. When i passed the form to the application server i have a error "FRM-40735: ORA-105100". The Webservice is running on localhost, and the application server is installed in the same machine.
The Java code used to create the connection is:
m_httpConnection = new OracleSOAPHTTPConnection();
Or Should I use the next code?
Properties prop = new Properties();
prop.setProperty(OracleSOAPHTTPConnection.PROXY_HOST, MYHOST");
prop.setProperty(OracleSOAPHTTPConnection.PROXY_PORT,"MYPORT");
m_httpConnection = new OracleSOAPHTTPConnection(prop);
What values should have Myhost and MyPort ?
Please help!
best regards,
TT

I don't have a proxy. I have DevSuite10gr2 installed and have a webservice running on http://LX_PPORT:8988/TheService-WebService-context-root/GecaClipServiceSoap
and the proxy running in the same machine. My machine name is LX_PPORT.
When running from Forms Builder works fine.
When i run from the internet explorer http://localhost:8889/forms/frmservlet?config=gettoken have that error.
what configuration should i use?
Thanks for your help.
best regards, TT

  • Problem calling WebService from Oracle Forms created by JDeveloper

    Hi All,
    I am trying to call a Webservice from Oracle Form using JAVA Class created by Oracle JDeveloper.
    The Java Function (in JDeveloper) is as follows:
    public Vector GetPIValue(String TagName, String ReadingTime) throws Exception
    URL endpointURL = new URL(endpoint);
    Envelope requestEnv = new Envelope();
    Body requestBody = new Body();
    Vector requestBodyEntries = new Vector();
    requestBodyEntries.addElement(TagName);
    requestBodyEntries.addElement(ReadingTime);
    requestBody.setBodyEntries(requestBodyEntries);
    requestEnv.setBody(requestBody);
    Message msg = new Message();
    msg.send(endpointURL, "http://tempuri.org/GetPIValue", requestEnv);
    Envelope responseEnv = msg.receiveEnvelope();
    Body responseBody = responseEnv.getBody();
    return responseBody.getBodyEntries();
    When this Class is Imported into Oracle Forms the Function is converted into the following PL/SQL code:
    FUNCTION GetPIValue(
    obj ORA_JAVA.JOBJECT,
    a0 VARCHAR2,
    a1 VARCHAR2) RETURN ORA_JAVA.JOBJECT IS
    BEGIN
    Message('param passed: '||a0||' - '||a1);
    cls := JNI.GET_CLASS('oracle/forms/demos/webservice/ConnectToPIStub');
    mid := JNI.GET_METHOD(FALSE, cls, 'GetPIValue', '(Ljava/lang/String;Ljava/lang/String;)Ljava/util/Vector;');
    args := JNI.CREATE_ARG_LIST(2);
    JNI.ADD_STRING_ARG(args, a0);
    JNI.ADD_STRING_ARG(args, a1);
    Message('I am Here');
    RETURN JNI.CALL_OBJECT_METHOD(obj, mid, args);
    END;
    When I am calling this Function from Within Forms and Passing into it the Parameters, I am displaying some Debugging Messages. When the Code reaches "JNI.CALL_OBJECT_METHOD" there is NO RESPONSE from the Webservice and nothing is moving forward after this Point...
    A similar Webservice that can be Tested is:
    http://www.webservicex.com/CurrencyConvertor.asmx
    with WSDL file:
    http://www.webservicex.com/CurrencyConvertor.asmx?wsdl
    Kindly note that this Webservice is running properly from the Web Browser but the call from Oracle Forms is not Succeeding!!!! :-((
    Any help is much appreciated.
    Regards,
    Baz

    Hi,
    Yes, you need to compile your source files with JDK 1.3 (since JInit 1.3.x.x uses JDK 1.3).
    Other solution would be to use JRE 1.5 (instead of JInitiator).
    Check out [this thread|http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=550563] on how to use JRE1.5

  • Problem calling WebService from VisualComposer model at runtime

    Hello Experts,
    I have a very simple model with form as input for calling Webservice on backend system and a table as output.
    During the runtime the WebService call is failing with:
    Error while getting the backend function : Could not find operation Z_EAI_GETUSERROLES_WS.ZEaiGetuserroles
    The service definition is succesfully published to CE's ServiceRepository.
    There is a correct entry for backend system under SOA->Destination Template Management in CE NWA.
    I can succesfully test this WebService in WSNavigator in both systems - CE and backend.
    I can succesfully test this WebService in NWDS at design time (by right-clicking on service)
    In Logs Viewer I can see the following entries:
    error 2011-10-13 17:16:01:838 Stopped further execution since the interpreter is unusable /Applications/wd4vc com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.generation.DelegatingComponent.XGLInterpreter sap.com/aanisecurityui~vc_impl

    Can you please advise me what else I need to check to solve this error?
    Best Regards,
    Artsiom Anichenka

    Hi Artsiom ,
    I don't know VC and how it is on CE 7.3, but when developing Java Webdynpro application using CE 7.11 on same principle (with destination template defined in NWA), we sometimes faced almost same situation due to cache problem...
    Basically, this happen if you deploy your application using a model, change your webservice (for example adding a new field), re-import the model in NWDS and re-deploy. In NWDS, everything seems to be ok, but at runtime, it fails due to cache problem which is not refreshed with the new meta data definition. The only solution in 7.11 was to restart the server. I think (but not sure) that starting 7.2, there is a tool to clean the (webservice) cache.
    I hope it could help...

  • Problems calling a html form from a different page

    Hi,
    I'm working on a logon for a website. I have a html page and a jsp page that contains the login function. I want to call the login form after the user presses submit. But I'm having problems calling the form from the html page.
    Any help appreciated.
    Here is my html page:
    <form method="POST" action="login.jsp">
    <table>
    <tr>
    <td>
    <div align="center">
    <b>UserName:</b>
    <input name="user_name" type="text" class="input" id="username" maxlength="18">
    <b>Password:</b></font>
    <input type="password" name="password" class="input" maxlength="18">
    </input>
    <input type="button" border="0" value="Login" width="30" height="20">
    </input>
    My jsp page:
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
    <html>
    <body bgcolor = "#E5E8EF">
    <script language="javascript">
    function login(form) {
         alert("hello");
    if (form.username.value=="joe") {
    if (form.password.value=="bloggs") {
    location="success.html"
    } else {
    alert("Invalid Password")
    } else {  alert("Invalid UserID")
    //-->
    </script>
    </body>
    </html>

    So your intention is that the JS function would be invoked somehow?
    Are you aware that Javascript is a completely different language from Java/JSP/JSTL?

  • Problems Calling Graphics by Forms on the Web

    Hi!
    I'm not able to call a graphic on the web using Forms6i (Version 6.0.8.8.0 (Production)) and Graphics (Version 6.0.5.33.0).
    I made a call to a graphic using the RUN_PRODUCT built-in.
    On a client-server connection the call has no problem.
    On the Web i have no error messages, no results!!!
    I tried to populate a chart item with the graphic (always with RUN-PRODUCT) and i had a correct result but when i tried to enlarge the item i had an error message (FRM-92100: Your connection to the Server was interrupted with him detail composed by a lot of java exceptions).
    HELP!!!!!!!!
    null

    Start by setting the "Java console" on in the Jinitator control panel on the client machine. This will show you if Jinitator is called and if it is downloading the correct Jar files.
    If you weren't prompted to install Jinitator I would guess you have some security setting you need to set in your IE to allow the download of an exe file.

    _baseURL - 0x8b1c7400 - Invalid Summary

    You are creating a file URL (file://xxx) with the call to initFileURLWithPath.  Use the proper initialiser and you should get proper results.

       in a webservice model the nodes are created in following manner
        webservicemodelname
        --Request
          ---Response
        --Response
    u have to bind the reuqestnode and its subnode it responsenode also to the component controller node...
    then in executor method
    crete the object of modelcalss and bind it to the context of compoent controller
    and then execute the model ..

  • Problems calling a Webservice

    Hi All!
    I'm having some problems calling a Webservice. I've created a deployable proxy and a client bean and from this bean I've generated a Webservice. When I test this Webservice the actual webservice call is succesfull but I get the following response from the Webservice:
    HTTP/1.1 200 OK
    Connection: close
    Date: Fri, 13 May 2005 10:26:37 GMT
    Server: Microsoft-IIS/6.0
    P3P: CP="NOI DSP COR ADM DEV PSA PSD HIS OTP OUR IND STA"
    X-Powered-By: ASP.NET
    X-Powered-By: PHP/4.3.9
    Status: 200 OK
    Server: PEAR-SOAP 0.8.0RC2-devel
    Content-Type: text/xml; charset=UTF-8

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope  xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/ ....etc"
    As you can see there is some HTML code in the response. This HTML code causes problems for the SAP parser as it expects a SOAP:Envelope and not some HTML junk.
    I've looked up what the properties <i>mustunderstand</i> and <i>actor</i> do in a SOAP header and they seem to be optional properties. On the Webservice side the SOAP parser unfortunately seem to think these properties are mandatory.
    There's probably two ways to solve this problem. The first way is to ask the guys who host this Webservice to change it are their side. The other option is to add these properties to the SOAP header on the SAP side....which brings me to my question: Is there any way to add these two properties to the SOAP header before the deployable proxy calls the Webservice?

    Hi Arnouid,
    as far as I understand your post, the HTML code is the body of the response.
    If it is so, it is not a correct SOAP-message. A SOAP header  is inside of the envelope and not outside of it.
    So, it is not very a big surprise, that the parser don't like this.
    Aside from the form of a SOAP-message, it is not even a XML-message, which must begin with <?xml...

  • To Call an HTTPS webservice through Forms

    Hi
    I have followed http://st-curriculum.oracle.com/obe/forms/11g/sms_webservice/webservices_forms_11g.htm but this only covers HTTP connections. The java client that I am preparing uses HTTPS link.
    Before importing the jar in Oracle Forms, we want to test if the jar works fine. So in the unix server, I try to execute the jar and I get java.net.UnknownHostException: wugateway2pi.westernunion.net..
    This url will only allow access from the servers the third party has provided access to. So from the unix server we are able to ping and telnet this ip. We have installed the certificate they have provided local to the jar.
    We did the same configuration in windows server when we used 10g and the connection went through successfully.
    Can anyone please give steps on how to resolve this issue
    thanks

    That the jar is not running on Linux is your problem? The exception is probably coming from httpurlconnection because the host cannot be reached. This could because your Linux does not have the required network access.
    But is this your problem?

    >
    The server is trying to do mutual authentication and rightly so as this is a remittance system. Ping and telnet work for ip, but that does not mean you have access to the services. But is that your problem?
    We have installed the certificate they have provided local to the jar.You installed in jar , but are you using it in your System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStore" or equivalent in Java?
    Again, is this your problem?

    So Windows is not your issue. Then what is?
    Articulating your problem accurately dramatically increases the chances of getting a resolution.
    BTW, I have nothing against Java but why are you trying to use Java for calling a Webservice from Forms ? You have UTL_HTTP pacakage (Request and Response sub programs) that allow you to do this in PL/SQL. Of course you will need Wallet for HTTPS calls from PL.SQL.
    More info here {thread:id=2396886}
    Cheers,
    PS : BTW the URL wugateway2pi.westernunion.net does not land on any web page. So no wonder you get unknown host exception.

    Thanks,

    what is the solution for this problem? I have the same problem. I get sy-subrc = 1 after CALL FUNCTION 'FPCOMP_JOB_OPEN'.
    If I look more in detail I see that "Perform check_job_open" is creating the problem:
    FORM check_job_open.
      IF fpstat-is_opened = c_true.  (--> exactly here is the problem. This condition is true so the program is terminated.)
        PERFORM reset_status.
        MESSAGE ID 'FPRUNX' TYPE 'E' NUMBER '101' RAISING usage_error.
      ENDIF.
      fpstat-is_opened  = c_true.
      fpstat-is_started = c_false.
    ENDFORM.
    Does somebody know why my job is open and what is the solution to have the job closed at the beginning of my processing?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Calling webservices in Oracle Forms version 6.0.8.26.0

    Hi,
    I am trying to call a webservice from Forms version 6.0.8.26.0. I have created the jar file using JDeveloper 9.0.3.1. I could import the class in forms but when I compile the form, it gives me the following error:
    Error 306 at line 13 column 13
    wrong number or types of arguments in call to NEW_OBJECT
    Error 0 at line 13 column 5
    Statment ignored
    Error 306 at line 19 column 13
    wrong number or types of arguments in call to GET_STRING_FIELD
    Error 0 at line 13 column 5
    Statment ignored
    and so on....
    Please advise what I need to do? This version of forms does not have any default.env. So I'm not sure if there is any other path where I need to put in the jar file path. Please advise soon.
    Thanks to all in advance.

    Please can somebody reply....
