Problem changing tabstrip images

Hi,
I've created a theme for my portal but when I tried to change Tabstrip (Complex Elements category) images, I could only change some images but not all.
Ok images:
Starter Image of Selected Tab: tab_first_ang_on_prev_off.gif
Starter Image of Unselected Tab: tab_first_ang_off_prev_off.gif
End Image of Unselected Tab: tab_last_off_next_off.gif
End Image of Selected Tab: tab_last_on_next_off.gif
Transition Image From Unselected to Unselected Tab: tab_ang_off_off.gif
Transition Image From Unselected to Selected Tab: tab_ang_off_on.gif
Transition Image From Selected to Unselected Tab: tab_ang_on_off.gif
"Unmodifiable" images:
tab_first_ang_off_prev_on.gif
tab_last_off_next_on.gif
tab_last_on_next_on.gif
I can't modify this images directly from Theme Editor. I've tried to modify it directly in the server but it didn't work. Can anybody help me?

Hi Joan,
You can try to export your theme, then replace needed images in the received archive and import theme back to the Portal.

Hi all,
I have a problem in changing the branding image for portal logon page.
To my knowledge I have the change the image file under
\usr\sap\EPD\JC0\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\portalapps\com.sap.portal.runtime.logon\layout
But to my surprise I am not able to see gthe com.sap.portal.runtime.logon folder in the server.
Can somebody suugest me what might be the reason.Is it any problem with the versions or something?

It is:

You can do a simple search for branding-image.jpg from \usr\sap\EPD\JC0\j2ee\cluster\server0 to find the location. You can change the location or name in the config tool.

For the last 2 days whenever I try to upload photos from my iPhoto page to facebook I get an error message: Bad Image There was a problem with the image file. I haven't knowingly changed any settings on iPhoto or facebook. Can anyone help, please ?

How to change the maximum frame rate of the camera by changing the image size?

I have two acA2040-180km cameras which are connected to 2 NI PCIe-1433 framegrabbers, I am monitoring my cameras by LabView, maximum allowable frame rate is about 187 for full resolution images, but I just need a small fraction of the images, I know if I make the images smaller, FPS will get higher, but it isn't possible by changing the image size in NI MAX, I've also tried to change the size by defining the region of interest in the grab setup.vi, but it would be after going to camera so it isn't the case as well, so I need a VI to go to the camera before starting to take photo and define the region of interest which is going to be captured, would you please help me to find it?
Please help me, this problem get me stuck!!!

Have you tried changing the image size using property nodes as Bruce suggested? Do remember with Basler cameras, reducing the width only will not affect the transfer speed but the reducing the height will. Have a look at the frame calculator to understand what you frame rates you can acheive with certain settings:

Gallery - where to look for problem... image doesn't expand

OK, this is my first build using the latest version of spry.
The problem I'm having is that the mainImage (large photo) isn't
showing up -- it isn't expanding or animating... neither are the
thumbnails. But the various scripts and such must be pointed
properly (as must be the xml files) because the thumbnails ARE
visible.
Still, the #picture div doesn't animate open. However,
clicking a thumbnail DOES change the image -- I can tell because
I've created {caption} and other regions that do switch out to the
next image info on clicking next or a thumbnail.
So, where do I look for things that would affect the
expansion of the #picture, #mainImageOutline, and #mainImage?
I pretty much copied the divs right from the example, so I'm
sure that I have things written properly. The only thing I've done
is change the structural layout of the page (controls and such on
the right, not the left) of #mainImage.
Kin? Donald? Anyone...? Am I right thinking that
#mainImageOutline is set to width:0, height:0 and then expanded to
match the width and height supplied by photos.xml file for each
photo? This is the part that seems to not be working though I've
looked through that file and cannot see any missing quote marks or
anything.
Any ideas? I can see the large image elements ( i put a blue
background on them) but they just don't expand.

Problems while accessing images outside the web document-root folder

Our application runs on Oracle application server on Linux. Facing problems while accessing images outside the web document-root folder. This works with changes in global-web-application.xml by including the <virtual-directory> tag. The same change does not work when done on Linux machine. It is unable to find the image. Please help in resolving this issue.

This is one of the least satisfactory aspects of site management in Dreamweaver, and several developers, including myself, have been pressuring the Dreamweaver team for some years to improve this. Who knows? They might eventually take notice.
The only way to do this at the moment is to create two site definitions, one nested inside the other. Set up the site definition normally based on htdocs as your site root. Then create a new site definition based on site. Dreamweaver will nag you that it can cause problems, but it won't actually stop you from doing it. The only potential problem is with site synchronization.
The problem with using site as the only basis for your site definition is that Dreamweaver automatically puts things like the Connections, Scripts, and other folders in the site root. So, everything ends up at the wrong level of the site hierarchy. Quite frankly, the whole thing is a bit of a pain. Dynamic site development was added to Dreamweaver only in version 6 (Dreamweaver MX), and no one had really thought through the need to store files outside the site root.

Changing .PNG Images

I just got my MacBook yesterday and I have been trying to change my application icons but have run into a problem: all .PNG images have the same default image (the one with the piece of paper behind a photo that simply says "PNG") Every time I click on the .PNG and go to "Get Info" the small image on the top is the default icon, so when I copy it and paste where I want to replace another icon it always ends up being the default "PNG" icon.
Is there an easy way to show the actual .PNG I downloaded rather than the default one?

When you download images from the internet, they do not have an icon. There is no way to automatically give them an icon either. Well, there is with a "Folder Action" but that is a pretty geeky solution.
They COULD have the icon of your default PNG viewing application, but apparently it is not set in your OSX. Right-click on the icon and get the infowindow. Chick the "Open With" button and navigate to Preview.app. Now click the "Change All" button. That makes all PNGs have the review icon and when doubleclicked they will open in Preview.
If you want more graphic manipulation features you should use a dedicated app like GraphicConverter: http://lemkesoft.de/

IMAQdx Grab changing my images from 16 bit to 8 bit?

I have a labview application that I am trying to use with 16 bit images. It is currently running and working with 8 bit images. I though that if I changed the image type from 8 bit to 16 bit and changed the settings on my camera from 8 bit to 1 using MAX that the program would run the same but with 16 bit images instead. However, even when I do this the camera only captures 8 bit images and then the application fails because of an incompatible image type error because all the settings are set to 16 bit images. I set a few probes and realized that very early in my application all my images are 8 bit even when the camera is set to a 16 bit setting. Also the resolution of my images is different than what the camera is set to. I think that the culprit is IMAQdx Grab because I was reading in the help that if the image type does not match the video format of the camera then IMAQdx Grab changes the image type to a suitable format. How can I make it so IMAQdx Grab wont change the image type? I am fairly new with LabView so this might be something simple or not. Thank you.

It sound to me that you are having problems with getting the camera file to do what you want. My guess is that you are not saving the attributes in Measurement and Automation (MAX) when you change them. If you are saving them then I would try and set the attributes programmatically in your VI. This should force it to what you want within the program. Let me know how it goes.

Okay - So, I teach photography and have my students print contact sheets from iPhoto version 08. I have one student (out of forty) having the following problem (I have removed preferences, reinstalled iPhoto, used the iPhoto updater for 7.1.5, reloading the printer driver and upgrading the system software to 10.6.8 {I teach in a high school, so no funds for newer software})
The problem is isolated to one student - the others on the same machine do NOT have the same problem. When this student selects more than 5 images, the resulting output looks as if he has taken a screen shot - the palettes on the left of the frame show and the titles he has inserted (using Batch Change) are moved on to the pictures.
At this point, I am going to let him screenshot his submissions, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

since installing LION having problems getting photo images to upload? anyone else havie this problem? I did finally get a message that the format was wrong, but I have changed nothing on my camera. Only change was the installing of LION.

I agree with Viorel. You are getting the error because the format of the data is incorrect probably because the data was modify. It may not be the reading of the database the is incorrect, but the application that wrote the data into the database. You need
to compare the imgg array data with the data before it was written to the database to see if the data matches. I usually start by comparing the number of bytes which is easier to check then compare the actual to isolate which function is changing the
byte count.
An image is binary data. The standard VS methods for reading and writing data (usually stream classes) default to ASCII encoding which will corrupt binary data. The solution usually is to use UTF8 encoding instead of the default ascii encoding.
Ascii encoding with stream often aligns the data and adds extra null bytes to the end of the data which can produce these type errors.

Problem with displaying images exported to PS

This is slightly different than the post about TIFF files not displaying properly.
In Aperture 1.2, when I exported an image to PS and did extensive work on it, and then saved back to Aperture, it would appear in Aperture just as it looked in PS when I saved it.
However, in 1.5, that does not happen. After I save the image, and then go back to Aperture, all of the changes I made in PS don't appear! However, if I again open the image in PS a second time, it will change to the PS version even before the image gets to PS (I can see it change right when I click "open with external editor").
Is this a difference with how 1.2 and 1.5 handle the files? I'm guessing it has something to do with image previews, because I chose not to have Aperture generate previews when I installed 1.5 due to the slow-down issues I saw reported here.
I'm starting to wonder what the point of upgrading to 1.5 was for me... if I can't take advantage of previews (accessing my Aperture library from other apps like Keynote, etc) and if the PS files I work on don't display properly, I'd rather go back to 1.2. This is a major problem in my workflow, since I often spend a lot of time working on images in PS, and I need to be able to see them that way when I return to Aperture.
I'm hoping there's some setting somewhere I can use to fix this. Is there?

I really appreciate your offer to help. However, I have the problem with all images in my library in all projects, so I'm not sure how useful it would be for you to work with a single image I upload to a server.
I'm having the same problem on my MacBook too, though for some unknown reason there are certain projects on my MacBook that the process works fine with. I cannot tell any difference between those projects (that work) and those that don't.
What's even more strange... if I quit Aperture, and re-open it, and then go through the process (open a file in PS2, save, return to Aperture) - it works fine! But ONLY ONE TIME. If I try the same process again, on that same image, or any other image in my library, it will not work. It only works the FIRST TIME I do it after opening Aperture. I tested this several times and got the same result.
I am completely stumped here. I've tried generating previews for a project and turning all of the preview options on, but that doesn't solve the problem either.
Anyone out there have a clue what might be happening? This is more than a minor inconvenience... if my image management system can't display the image as it should appear, it's unusable.

1.- You can not change images of News
2.- You can not show images of the RSS on News
3.- You can not control the number of slides of News
4.- If images can't be changed and News can't be removed then clients are bound to see images of other sectors
Such an attractive tool should be more flexible.

Changing an image to a button event.....what am i doing wrong here?

I'm trying to change the image in the imagePanel when one of the buttons are clicked. When I run it, it just shows the default image i placed in there and nothing happens when a button is clicked. I'm a Java student so I'm sorry if this seems elementary. Please ignore the jbtSound button I created, i haven't got to that yet. Thanks in advance for whatever help you can offer. Here's the code:

I have reinstalled CS5.1 extended on my new Lenovo Laptop with Win 8.1 64 bit. No installation problems, but now Image Adjustments and tools do not work any more.

Operating Problem with CS5.1 extended. I replaced my old HP Laptop with a new Lenovo laptop with Win 8.1 and reinstalled CS5.1 64-bit version. The software downloaded and installed correctly and worked for a day, but when I rebooted the next day, the Image Adjustments and tools functions did not respond any more. I have uninstalled and redownloaded/ reinstalled without success.

The software worked on the first day, problems appeared next day. I uninstalled and deleted the exe.file, then redownloaded and reinstalled but same problem persists.
I then downloaded and installed on my PC and everything works.
