Problem composing email with GoDaddy

I have Windows 7 Pro and have updated to the latest Firefox. When I try to compose or respond to emails, the To Box is corrupt. It shows this beside the To Box :
v id="to" class="composeHeader composeField" tabindex="-1" onclick="Compose.focus='to';" onfocus="Compose.focus='to';">
Email works fine with IE. The From, CC and BC boxes are fine and will pre-fill addresses but the To box will not pre-fill and is not boxed in.

  • Problems sending emails with iPhone 3G and outlook exchange

    I have a problem sending email with exchange. Receiving and answering mail works fine and calender updates work fine. However when I initiate an email from the phone it syncs and ends up in the sent folder in the computer but never reaches the recipient. I have tried this many times with different recipients and phones. It only happens from my iphone and ipad. Any suggestions?
    Any help much appreciated

    The iPhone you returned is still syncing against your server and locking out your account. Someone possibly has access to your mail data. I'd recommend having your Exchange Administrator install the Microsoft Exchange Server ActiveSync Web Administration Tool (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=E6851D23-D145-4DBF-A2CC -E0B4C6301453&displaylang=en) and attempt to wipe/delete/block that other iPhone.

  • This just started today. I can't open my web based email with godaddy. I can see the item when it loads but it will not open to read, reply or anything else.

    I can not read my web based email account with godaddy. It started this morning. I can open the page to see the email headlines each email is frozen and will not open.

    When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
    1. Clear Firefox's Cache
    orange Firefox button ''or'' Tools menu > Options > Advanced
    On the Network mini-tab > Offline Storage : "Clear Now"
    2. If needed, delete the site's cookies here
    While viewing a page on the site, right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
    Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

  • Problems sending email with attachments

    This is a long story.  We use a satellite connection at home and in our motorhome most of the time.  We use our air card (USB 760) for special needs and when we are travelling without our motorhome.
    The past two weekends I have had to use the aircard.  During that use I prepared some email with various sized attachments (max 1.2 meg).  On the first weekend the email with attachments would not send (Eudora/POP3/Godaddy).  Then I tried a different ISP I have to use for a special assignment (Eudora/POP3/Bellweather.net) and it went through.
    When I got back to the house, I contacted Godaddy and they did not find anything in their system that would cause a problem.  During the testing with them, the email with attachments went through just fine (on satellite).  I laid it off to a Godaddy problem.
    This past weekend, I prepared another email with a small attachment and it would not send via either ISP.  Then I connected to the motel wireless and it went just fine via Godaddy.
    So, all of the testing points to a problem with my Verizon connection.  I have checked and I have the latest software.  The Verizon tech folks have evelated it to see if they can figure out what is going on.
    Anyone else have the same problem?  Any thoughts on what the problem might be?

    Message attachments are allowed in Hosted VZEmail Services using your USB 760 air card. However, to enhance security some attachment types will be blocked and cannot be sent.
    The blocked attachment types include, but are not limited to, the following:
    .exe
    .bat
    .pif
    .msi
    .vbs
    .com

  • Can't Send Emails with Godaddy

    I have had my Droid X for about 6 months and love the phone. I hate the fact that I am not able to send emails using my Godaddy settings. I have spent the better part of 35 - 40 hours trying to work with Motorola and Godaddy tech support, they have both independently noted that when an email will not send that it is usually due to the Wireless provider. With this being the case, I have tried everything I can find on how to get emails to send with the Godaddy account and nothing has worked. Currently I have had to set up my outgoing server as the Gmail server, but this does not send my Logos and Signature files without signing up for a business account with Gmail. I don't think that I should have to spend more money for a service I do not want. Also I don't understand why you can get Yahoo and Gmail to work but not the other email services.

    TotallyFedUP wrote:
    The problem with that as a solutions is that my ISP (Internet Service Provider) is Verizon Wireless and not GoDaddy. So, if what you are saying is correct then my ISP is the issue, that would be Verizon Wireless
    Verizon Wireless is the only sourse that has not tried to help but puss the trouble off to the manufacturer or the the email providor.
    I have spoken to a number of people around the country that have a droid x and verizon wireless and there  Godaddy emails send fine. The only difference between them and me is the local switch for the internet access. Sounds to me like there is a local issue with Verizon Wireless.
    As of selecting something that works for me, I expected that a new device on the market would at least be able to do what other devices could already do for the past 5 years and not have to re-invent the wheel. I love everything about my droid x except the fact that the only email that works on it is Gmail. Sounds like Microsoft to me.
    I may should have phrased this a bit diffrently but I work 16-18 hours a day and Im working on half a tank.... Verizon grants your access to the web and does not restrict server access but GoDaddy supplies the server connection to control sites access.  So email pervider would be the correct term, sorry for the mistake...  As for the area being the issue this would most likely be a restriction given or configured to grant access.
    I have 6 email accounts with diffrent email perviders and I have no issue with any of them sending or recieving, so the issue isnt Verizons, Androids or rhe Droid X, I have heard a number of issues with GoDaddy access through a mobile device.
    Well since you makes this as solved I guess you was able to get situation resolved...

  • Compose email with formatting, receiver doesn't see it correctly?

    Hi,
    When I compose an email with mail.app and paste images into the text in strategic places, the receiver (using Windows or gmail as email viewer) doesn't see the email formatted correctly. That is, the images are just included as attachments, not appearing in the right place. However, when I look at the mail in "sent items" it looks fine.
    Is there any way to fix this? I actually had a friend say, "it doesn't look right on windows because you're using a Mac" -- is he right? Say it ain't so!
    slegge

    There are no set standards for inline attachments.
    If you look at the actual data stream you'll find that all the message text is sent first, followed by a data block for each attached file.
    Mail puts markers inline to flag where each attachment should be rendered, but that's specific to Mail and other email application may not understand or support that. In these cases the attachments are typically shown at the end, or in some other manner.
    The only real solution is to create HTML-formatted email, which gives you the same control you'd have if you were building a web page, but that's a lot more work, and not actually easy to do in Mail.app.

  • Problem sending email with attachment by android

    Good Morning, I'm Luca.
    I have this problem:
    through a smartphone with Android system,
    synchronized via ActiveSync, the user
    is unable to send emails with attachments.
    While you can receive them and
    open them without problem.
    We have a server with Exchange 2010.
    Is there any authorization that I have to give
    you?
    Other devices, always with Android system,
    with other accounts of course,
    does not have the same problem.
    Thank you very much
    Best regards

    Luca, if one user is able to send attachments, the other should be able to as well.  However, if an attachment is too large, it won't be delivered.
    Agreed, This does sound like a size limitation issue.
    Have the person try to send the same file from his outlook on his PC and see if he can send it out, that should be a good indication.

  • Problem opening email with space in subject

    I have a report region which displays the date, who sent and subject of emaisl from the users inbox. If they click on the subject then Outlook is meant to open and display the email in full.
    This works ok for email with only one word in the subject but gives an error when there is more than one word.
    I have tried replacing spaces with %20 but without any joy.
    An example of the html link generated is "<a href="outlook:Inbox/~test%20subject>test subject</a>"
    Has anyone done this sort of thing and got it to work?

    Has anyone done this sort of thing and got it to work?No. Didn't even know that it was possible.
    <a href="outlook:Inbox/~test%20subject>test subject</a>
    {code}
    Is that *exactly* how it appears in the HTML? If so, generating the link so the href attribute is properly terminated might help:
    {code}
    <a href="outlook:Inbox/~test%20subject">test subject</a>
    {code}

  • Problem sending email with Yahoo ISP

    All of a sudden today could not send emails (receive emails OK) on all 3 computers on two different sub accounts using the old flash.net ISP (Yahoo). I'm using Apple Mail 2.1. Called Yahoo and had to change the outgoing mail server from mail.flash.net to smtp.sbcglobal.net and all 3 computers were able to send mail again.
    Interestingly tried it on Entourage and didn't work. smtp.flash.yahoo.com worked for send email with Entourage. Didn't know the outgoing mail server was application dependent. Thought maybe this information would save sombody a call to yahoo. Terry

    Interesting.
    A mail server is a mail server, is a mail server.
    Usually, the SMTP server config will either work or it won't.
    Interesting that your Mail.app needs one config, and entourage another.
    I'll bet entourage will need to have the new config soon, or there was something else borked on your Mail.app config.

  • HT204490 Problem encrypting email with iMail after downloading 10.10.3 OS X

    After installing 10.10.3 OS X, my colleague and I both lost our ability to send encrypted email with iMail. Sending encrypted email is part of our regular day job so the loss was immediately noticeable after installing 10.10.3. We can digitally sign an email, but no ability to encrypt. I've already deleted my certificates and reinstalled to no avail. Any other thoughts?

  • Any new suggestions on how to send emails with godaddy account on iphone?

    Godaddy email is my only email account that I cannot send emails from on my iphone. Have called everyone and read everything many times about what seems to be a common issue but verizon, godaddy and apple all have same answers, no answers or act surprised.
    Tried every combination and suggestion like everyone else to no avail.
    Godaddy immediately refers you to their app which works ok but it's another step and separate. Seems like they're blocking outbound to get people to use their app which is cluttered with their other usual money spending choices.
    Otherwise I can't believe they're not aware of this and have no fix.
    If anyone has suggestion that hasn't been mentioned 100 times online please let me know.
    Thanks,
    Frustrated

    You don't have to pass the file name in the exec() in the script. Only the directory path for vbs execution in the VB Script. What you can do is check for the presence of the filename in the required directory using file_exists() function.
    Create three Global Variable ($GV_FILENAME, $GV_PATH, $GV_FILE) and pass the file name and path to these variables.
    $GV_PATH = 'C:\Temp';
    $GV_FILENAME = '37957.pdf';
    $GV_FILE ='"||$GV_PATH||'\\'||$GV_FILENAME||"';
    Then write a ifelse condition in the script like below -
    if(file_exists($GV_FILE) !=0)
    Begin
    exec('cscript','c:\\mymailscript\\MailDispatch.vbs,0);
    print('file found executing vbscript');
    else
    raise_exception ('file not found');
    end
    Hope this helps.

  • Problem sending emails with Mac Mail 1.3.11

    Desperately in need of help. I'm able to receive but not send email using Mac Mail. I keep getting an error message:
    "This message could not be delivered and will remain in your Outbox until it can be delivered.
    The sender address [email protected] was rejected by the server"
    I have already tried the following at the advice of AppleCare reps:-
    Have verified & repaired disk utilities & keychains
    Have reinstalled the operating system
    Have trashed the mail.plist file
    Have trashed the outbox.mbox file
    Getting quite frustrated now because we have a mac bookpro with identical mail settings and it is able to send and receive mail without any problems.Could it be the version of Mail I'm running ?
    I initially thought that the problem related to having switched to a new ISP but the fact that one of the mac's has no problem has led me to be less convinced of that idea.
    Any suggestions gratefully accepted.
    Many thanks

    I am having the same problem exactly. I can read e-mail, but get the same error message trying to send it. I can't use .Mac anymore--have to use alternate e-mail for the last month--since some time in October 2006.
    I haven't changed anything on my G4, haven't upgraded anything, and the problem started about the time .Mac reported some customers were unable to use Mail for a couple of days in October.
    I see nobody answered your post. Did you ever get your mail to work? I have repaired permissions, but I don't think it has anything to do with that.
    Thanks,

  • Problem sending email with attachment to another person

    04-08-2010 02:26 PM - last edited on 04-08-2010 03:05 PM
    I will try to keep this short.  I downloaded an app on one of my attorneys Curve 8330.  It is called Dataworx and lets her dictate then email the file to her secretary to convert and transcribe.  I can get a regular email to go through but when I try to send the one with the dictation it doesnt go and I get a message in the "sent using" section that says "unknown (secure)" and then under Message status it says "unable to find specified service"  When I use the same app on my Blackberry Storm I can dictate and email the file with no problem and open the attachment.  Can anyone help me.  I am a bit blackberry illiterate.  Thank you.
    UPDATE - the emails are finally coming to the intended recipient but there are no attachments on them.  Not even anything on our firewall saying they were removed.  very frustrating.
    We use an in house Microsoft Exchange server for our email and don't have Blackberry Enterprise or Blackberry Internet.

    Luca, if one user is able to send attachments, the other should be able to as well.  However, if an attachment is too large, it won't be delivered.
