Problem connecting mobile with PC by cable
Hello, I'm a Nokia 3110 classic user. I have a problem with the connection from my 3110 classic to the PC. I use a Mini-USB cable (from my HP digicam). After I updated my PC Suite nothing works anymore. Reinstalling doesn't help, too. When I connect my mobile with the PC the driver installation assistant of Windows XP appears but the installation fails because there's a problem with the 'Nokia Phone Parent Driver'. What can I do? Plz help me to solve this problem :-(

Nokia really need to sort this out. I too have the same problem, and posted in this same forum less than an hour ago!

Hi, I want to use my Capsule just as a back up via wireless. How do I set this up without connecting it with an ethernet cable to either a router or the iMac??
I misunderstood what Time Capsule is and had hoped for a wireless backup device that didn't have to be connected to the router.
The TC is a wireless backup device.. it does not need to be connected to the main router..
The problem is the computer.. not the TC.. the computer has only one wireless card.. if your current internet is by wireless.. then you must choose.. internet or backup.
But my other suggestion will work.. get a wireless USB stick compatible with Mac OS.. there are plenty and cheap.. since you are in the same room as the TC they will work fine.. plug it in and load the driver.. taint hard.
You should do the first backup by ethernet though.. wireless is too slow.. once you have that, you will do fine.
Search ebay for wireless n usb.. Mac compatible..

As you can see.. they are getting smaller and neater.
I have no idea if it works .. haven't tried one.. but I have used USB wireless stick on the Mac to overcome this issue.
You will need to set static IP .. not hard but you need to set specifics if you do buy one post again for the setup. -

I was able to connect the first time, but after that my computer simply rejects the Iphone and nothing happens. The Iphone doesn't spin or try to reboot even! .
WHAT to do? I got it today.When you say it ignores your iPhone, do you mean it does not appear in iTunes if you launch iTunes? Or it does not appear in Finder? Or does not appear in iPhoto? Or you get an error message?

Please go to Edit > Preferences in Muse and make sure the "Publish with Account" has the creative cloud subscription Adobe ID.

Problem connecting wirelessly with home hub 3.
Kodak gave me advice onthis problem. Entered security key in upper case instead of lower and it solved the problem . No help from BT on this.

What john46 says is quite correct, also Kodak would give you NO support for setting up the Home Hub..
Thats not to say you would not have been given help on these forums if you had a problem connecting your printer and if we could not help,at least we might have been able to point you in the right direction.

I have just bought an apple tv, I have tried several times to confiure the wifi but no success, the wifi nets list does not appear, I have connected with an ethernet cable but not with the wifi net...what can I do? is it normal? am I missing something?
Same thing here...Just bought it today, and only with the ethernet cable it worked...tryed to update it and now both wifi and ethernet won´t work...Any ideas?

Before installing software version 1.2 I could connect it with my dvd via usb and manage it as a external disk, but after installing ipod software version 1.2 my dvd does not recognize ipod when I connect it via usb. I also have an ipod video with the same software and have the same problem. Anyone could help me?.
Thanks.If you have a new enough iPod, they are now requiring an apple adapter that has the apple computer chip in it to work. I did a general search on the web and came up with better info than here.

Solution: WRT54GS connection porblem with a TV cable internet
i had a problem connecting to a TV cable, i hade an error note: " the router is not able to connect to the DSL/cable internet, please turn the broad band modem off then on and try again"
i solved this problem by using the"Easy Link Connect" programe of "Easy Link Network Tools" support...the programe is very easy to use..the stpes are baby steps and it does everything automatically.
thanks to Linksys supportI have been able to connect. Pinging works fine. The problem I have is that it is inconsistant. I cannot relie on the ability to connect every time.
I may be connected for several minutes and then disconnect. Come back several hours later and then can't connect.
I feel I have navigated thru almost all the settings but have overlooked some little detail which is causing the inconsistancy. -

Double check the 10 Gbps transceiver compatibility list. Technically only the 1, 3 and 5m versions are supported.
I've used them all without any issue in the 4500X. No special commands are necessary. -
Problem connecting AppleTV with ethernet
I have an AppleTV2 that works perfectly connected to Wifi, but if I connect via Ethernet, it cant find my ITunes Library on my computer. The AppleTv still is able to stream from the internet and is connected to the Internet but does not find any computers on the network. Also my iphone cannot find my AppleTV. If I unplug the ethernet cord and go on the wifi, it has no problem connecting. How can I connect via ethernet and see my ITunes library?
Here is the setup of my network: I have an iMac, connected via ethernet to Airport Extreme. The Airport Extreme is connected via Ethernet to a Motorola router that I am using as a switch that is in my basement. The Motorola router is then connected via ethernet to a switch that is connected to my AppleTv as well as a few other devices. All the devices connected have no problem finding the Internet connection.Try connecting the Apple TV 2 to the airport extreme. My setup is an iMac , iPad and two iPhones connected wirelessly via airport extreme. My apple tv 2 is connected via Ethernet to the airport extreme. It all works fine and have had no issues.

Trouble connecting AEBS with Cox & Motorola cable modem
I am able to set up my new AEBS however I cannot connect to internet. I am told via Airport Utility that I have set up correctly and have the steady green light and the wireless connection however it just won't pick up the Internet. I've called my ISP Cox Communications and they told me it's an issue w/my router. I noticed a similar problem in discussion boards with Comcast and followed the same instructions and it did not resolve. I've tried to power off cable modem for 10 sec, 2 min and 10 min and just no luck. I immediately plug back in my Linksys router and am able to connect to internet just fine.

Power off your cable modem for at leat 10 HOURS! Cox like every other ISP "caches" the MAC address of your router. The only way to "reset" this and allow a new MAC address to be accepted, is to turn off the cable modem overnight for 8-10 hours.
Some routers have the ability to "clone" a previous router MAC address, therefore not requiring the above process, but the AEBSn does NOT have this capability. -
Problem connecting wirelessly with HP 6310 printer
Since our computer automatically updated from Windows 8 to 8.1 a couple of weeks ago, we have not been able to use our HP 6310 printer. It connects with the computer through a wireless internet router. Have updated the HP driver to 8.1 to no avail. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I read your post about how you cannot use your Officejet 6310 printer since upgrading to Windows 8.1. I have a few ideas that come to mind that I am going to suggest and I hope they help!
1. Run the Print and Scan Doctor, which may find the problem and correct it.
2. Make sure the printer can make copies.
3. Try Uninstalling the Printer Software, restarting the PC and reinstall - HP Photosmart and Officejet Full Feature Software and Drivers

I am having problems setting up a datasource for a local sql express 2012 server. Its running as the default instance. Connections are working with ODBC and client told just not Coldfusion.
When I try to set up a connection using the sql driver I get this error:

The issue is likely caused by you not having yet assigned port 1433 in SQL Express itself. Follow the procedure described on the following page, and you should solve the problem: http://www.tensixconsulting.com/2012/02/sqlserverexception-the-tcpip-connection-to-the-hos t-port-1433-has-failed/
In particular, remember to assign port 1433 to 127.0.0.1 and to IPAll. Also set 'Active' and 'Enabled' to 'Yes' for the IP 127.0.0.1. While you're at it, if 'Named Pipes' is disabled, you should right-click on it and select 'enable'. Afterwards, restart the Windows service 'SQL Server(SQLEXPRESS)'.
It is advisable to allow ColdFusion server authentication. However, the SQL Express server is configured by default to allow only Windows authentication. This conflict may lead to errors.
Should you then encounter the dreaded Error 233: "No process is on the other end of the pipe", proceed as follows. Open the tool Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. Right-click on the name of your database server, then on Properties. In the user interface that opens, click on Security. Select the combined 'SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode'. Restart the service 'SQL Server(SQLEXPRESS)'. -
