Problem Creating Service Order SM03 from Repair order RAS type
Hi All,
While performing "Repair" action in repair order, we are triggering service order type-SM03
If the return material (serviceable material) is having Individual requirement settings in MRP4 screen, system proposing POP up screen for PO creation-
This POP up we need to restrict (even though as per present setting it is not effecting our business process)
This is because the serviceable material is copying as item "0000" in component tab.
Any inputs?
Thanks
Chidambaram

Can we manage service logistics in ERP from Repair Order?
Hi,
We're looking at SAP CRM for the Network Service process integration. Here is short nodes descriptions and its functions outline:
*Front offices (record customer complains and create follow-up Repair Order if needed, then goods should be routed to the Regional Hub)
*Regional Hub (acts as a service router - regional manager have to define the right service provider, i.e. manage Service Arrangement for the Repair order and then initiate delivery to Service Provider)
*Multiply Service Partners (external Service Providers - performs repair and send the item back)
As usual customers and so front office staff want to know where the item is now... but they have no access to ERP (which manage logistics in Regional Hub) and works within CRM interface only, so there is the question:
Can we use RepairOrder to initiate and track movements of the item on its way between different plants (from Front Office to Hub, from Hub to Service Provider and back)?
Is it standard CRM-ERP integration feature or intensive coding will be needed?
Thank you in advance,
Vladimir1. There is no way to access your Sync data online, it is a closed system. <br />
2. Make sure your other devices are sync'd and get a new SyncKey, which will wipe your data from the Sync server. Then Sync the device that you used to change the SyncKey first, and then the other devices. The "lost" device will no longer be able to use your Sync account with the old SyncKey, it won't be able to decrypt that data any longer.
As far as the data which is on the "lost" device, it can be used as long as the "finder" doesn't attempt to use Sync. There is no way to "wipe" the data which is on that device. A real downside to using Sync with devices which can be easily lost or stolen. About all you can do is to change all your passwords, very quickly after you realize that device is gone. ''(Been there, done that, after "losing" a laptop - but before Sync even came into being.)'' -

MonadearHi,
Looking at your document URL for the WSDL, the PeopleSoft IB should contain "Service" in it's name, it looks like you are using your IB Gateway URL instead.
This is what you posted:
- http://xxx.com:11001/PSIGW/PeopleSoftListeningConnector/CI_Z_POSITION_DATA.1.wsdl
Try the following and this should resolve your problem.
- http://xxx.com:11001/PSIGW/PeopleSoftServiceListeningConnector/CI_Z_POSITION_DATA.1.wsdl

Thanks in advance.!
Regards,
SudheerHi Mario,
Yes, the availability check will check other stock types also. My concern is why the availability check is failing and giving missing parts even if the components are there in stock after considering the reservations.
I checked OPJJ setting, availability check is active and we did that.
Can you please help me in this as we are stuck up at this point.

DEQUEUING ORDER DIFFERS FROM ENQUEUING ORDER,URGENT ONE, PLS HELP
Hi ,
we are using ORACLE ADVANCED QUEUING for queue functionality.
our Oracle version is Oracle 8i release 8.1.5
Sometimes dequeuing order differs from enqueuing order. we are
enqueuing to the queue using default options only , i mean we
are not setting any prriority for messages .We are enqueuing 100
messages continuously to the queue.After completing enqueuing we
are dequeuing from the queue first in browse and then in remove
mode. We are using thin driver for database connectivity. If U
have any idea about this problem pls feel free to share with me .
Thanx in advance
Regards
Shilda Joseph
see the code snippet
enqueuing
aqMsg = qOracleQueue.createMessage();
aqRawPayload = aqMsg.getRawPayload();
byMsg = sMsgInfo.getBytes();
aqRawPayload.setStream(byMsg, byMsg.length);
AQEnqueueOption aqEnqueueOption = new AQEnqueueOption
qOracleQueue.enqueue(aqEnqueueOption, aqMsg);
dequeuing
aqDequeueOption.setWaitTime(1);
aqDequeueOption.setDequeueMode
(aqDequeueOption.DEQUEUE_BROWSE);
aqMsg = qOracleQueue.dequeue(aqDequeueOption);
//removing
AQDequeueOption aqDequeueOption1 = new AQDequeueOption
aqDequeueOption1.setDequeueMode
(aqDequeueOption.DEQUEUE_REMOVE);
AQMessage aqRemMsg = qOracleQueue.dequeue
(aqDequeueOption1);

1) Check first fi the Material is in APO relevant

Select a .zip file in the Finder and Get Info (cmd-i). What is set for it to Open With. It should be Archive Utility. -
Service order creation from sale order
Hi Friends,
Could you please tell me where is the setting for the automatic creation of service order from sale order.
Iam using LEIS , TAD and CD as the sales documents and SM01 as service order document.
Am I missing something?
Please let me know.
Regards,
satishHi Satish,
The setting for creation of a service order from sales order can be found in the Requirement class configuration.
To know how to link, check the procurement tab in the sales order, note down the requirement type associated to the line item. Requirement type is linked to requirement class. In requirement class you find the configuration.
Standard SAP creates SM03 (refurbishment) type of service order from sales order.
Reward points if useful.

IW31-Create Purchase Requisition automatically from PM order - Release 5.0
Dear Experts,
Currently we are working in the 4.6C Release but we are doing the migration for 5.0. In PM, in the 4.6C release when we
create a PM Order in tcode IW31 we select a component and the system shows us the screen to inform the quantity and
automatically the system shows us a screen to Create Purchase Requisition where we can fill or select some fields.
However, when we create a PM order in the 5.0 using the same tcode, the same material type, the system creates
automatically the Purchase Requisition without to show us the screen to fill or select the fieds. I´ve checked the customizing
comparing the systems but I couldn´t find something.
I was wondering If you could help me with this issue?
If my comments are not enough to understand me, please let me know...

Multiple doc type setting for service PR generated from Maintenance order
Hi Gurus,
My client has multiple company code and has different document type for PR and PO as per the company code. For generating the service PR from maintenance order system take the document type of PR defined in the config.
Is it possible to define multiple document type for service PR depend on the company code/ Plant level?
Kindly help.
Regards
DPHi Ravi,
I used the User Exit COZF0001 . Since we can assign only one PR doc type in the config .
I have assigned one PR doc type in configuration which will work for a company code and all their respective plant. So in this case user exit wont do any job for changing the doc type.
You will defined a condition in the User exit saying that if company code /plant which you get it from maintenance order is not same (Config ) then provide the PR doc type which you want to create for respect plant or company code.
I dont have coding right now with me. You need a small coding to be done to create the separate PR doc type in EBAN-BSART
with respect to plant . Check in your configuration at what point of time you are creating the PR either in saving or release of MO. You can take the even to activate the User exit.
Consult your ABAPer they can do in 10 min.

Automatically creating an internal requistion from an order
Is it possible to create an internal requisition from an sales order automatically?
I can create a purchase requisition easily, but cannot get it to create an internal requisition to create an internal sales order. I have the following
1) Internal customer setup linked to an hr location
2) hr location linked to an inventory org
3) sourcing rules set to transfer from org b to org a
4) Item set as replenish to order.Hi,
I Think we cannt change it bcz its in grey mode. Once we set controlling area that order is created in that controlling area and we can have same controlling area for different co.codes.
Suppose if we set different controlling area and try to create any order with out reference it gets change to different co.code.
The reason may be that while creating Controlling area if u have set controlling area same as Co.code then we cannt change.

CS: Credit memo from Repair Order (RA)
Dear Experts,
I am trying to create a credit memo from my sales orderin lieu of return of a defective product, I am using the repair procedure which generates item category IRGN for credit memo.
My question; Since using repair procedure gives me a sub-item I am not sure how to go about billing it and also can I bypass the credit memo request creation and directly create Credit memo, how?
Kindly advise with your inputs on this scenario.
ThanksSolved. Used Invoice(for Repair) to create credit memo.

Goods receipt not ticked in production order converted from sales order req
Hi all,
In MTO scenario, where requirement trigger from Inquiry -> Quotatation -> Sales Order -> Plan Order -> Production Order, goods receipt indicator in production order was not checked if requirement is triggering from sales order, however it is ticked if requirement trigger from inquiry, therefore we are not able to do confirmation. Appreciate if anyone able to assist us as soon as possible.
Thanks in advanced.Hi,
I understood that---
If u r creating Sales order directly without Quotation u r not able to do the GR.
If u create from Quotation, u r able to do GR. right?
I think, Problem with Settlement. Please Look into that.

Segregate internal ordered items from purch. order items for the i-pro user
We want to know if there are any Oracle i-Procurement implementations that have segregated the internally ordered items via an Order Management sales order from items ordered on a PO (purchase order). We have considered three possible paths to purse. 1) Table of Contents: this seems to not work because you can only connect a Group at the Category level not item level, 2) Multiple responsibilities one for Inventory and one for drop ship: This is not acceptable to the user. 3) Requisition Template.
We attempted to implement this by creating two i-Pro stores named Main and Inventory Only. Our design defined that these stores be associated with a catalog for each group of item. We interpreted that the "Include items without suppliers in this catalog" flag in the Catalog definition would select those items that are stockable. However, the logic behind this flag does not consider the item attributes/Sourcing Rules set at the ORG level. Our company has two Orgs named INV for inventory and DEV for our service organization. For stockable items the items are coded Inventory Sourced in the DEV item master and the sourcing assigment is linked to a sourcing rule which is internal (that is, get from INV org). The items are coded Supplier Sourced in the INV item master and the sourcing rule is a Blanket. Thus, our inventory items were not included in the the catalog even though they were sourced internally at the DEV org because of the blanket sourcing rule in the INV org.
Thank you, NedMeera,
Which version of SBO are you using 2005 or 2007?
I don't think Serial numbers can help in this scenario. There is no hard allocation or blocking possible using Serial numbers.
This is the Work around I am thinking about.
Set the items to be Batch Managed - On Every Transaction
When performing Goods Receipt, enter the Sales Order Number as the Batch Number
When creating the delivery, using SBO_SP_TransactionNotification we can easily check the Batch of the Item being selected and verify it with the BaseRef of Delivery lines to match with Sales Order number.
If the numbers don't match we can warn user with message, "The items batch reserved for Sales Order xyz"
Even if you make a mistake when entering the batch number same as Sales Order number when doing a goods receipt. It can still be traced and blocked during delivery.
Hint: The Batch table records the Goods Receipt transaction along with the BaseDocument number, Base Ref, etc
If you decide to go this route, I could help you further.
Let me know
