Problem creation PPM_WD_RFC_METADATA_DEST

Hello
I have a problem when I am creating the JCo's PPM_WD_RFC_METADATA_DEST, I press the Creation link then the page starts load but it never show the next screen.
I don not kwon Why is the problem??
My system have stack 09, and the cprxrpmui 15 and Bppm.. 15 too, and in the backend is wind package cprxrpm 15 (Addons)
Any idea for this problem

Dear Gurus,
I created a new Material Type in reference to "DIEN" Material Type.
I have created a Sales Order -> Delivery -> Invoice flow (yes the delivery isn't useful but needed for some flat file sending...).
After the creation of the Invoice, the Accounting document won't create itself.
I get the message : KE 348 described here below
Of course, no CCR exists but it's quite normal since we are on a Service Flow.
I check my customizing of the CO module, affectation of the Valorisation to Material Type and all is fine too.
Any ideas anyone please??

In Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), the system tried to valuate a line
    item by looking for a product cost estimate for product "551" using the
    plan period indicator.
To do this, the system has to read the valuation segment ("MBEW") of the
    material master. This segment does not exist in valuation area NISL.

The system tried to read the product cost estimate according to costing
    costing key Z01 as defined in the CO-PA Customizing settings.

Your PA is configured to insist (error msg) on a cost estimate. You either need to create a cost estimate for the service you are providing, or configure PA such that it will not generate an error when it doesn't find a cost estimate.

Problem creation of variable

Hi all,
I've got a little problem in BEx.
I'm trying to create an offset.
For that, i created a new variable on 0CALMONTH, with replacement path with tha variable of 0CALMONTH : "0I_CMNTH".
But when I put this variable, the following error appears :"Name ZCOMPT" already exists; select a different name."
I investigated and this "ZCOMPT" is the name of a variable of the infoobject "ZBPARTNR" which has 0CALMONTH as attribute.
So can you help me in order that i can correctly create this offset ?

I think the system somehow accepted two variables with the same technical name ZCOMPT earlier and now it has realised it. The system would not allow for two variables to have the same technical name. Try doing the following:
Try creating a variable with a different name from what you are doing now say ZTEST.
If you get the same message that you are getting now, then the issue is with the variable ZCOMPT and not with your variable.
Then you will have to delete one of the variables ZCOMPT. That is the only solution. Once one of the variables is deleted, then you can go ahead with your work.

Go to FTXP, Create a Tax code, Put Percentage in the condition.
Assign GL code in OB40.
Test it & this will work.

Problem creation a menu from a list

Hello all
I'm creating an n-level side bar menu from a list. I'm appling the DHTML Tree template overriding the default template.
The menu is working fine except for the 0 level nodes:
the image "minus.gif" and "plus.gif" expand and contract the node. However, if I click over the text in the node the node does not expand and i'm redirected to the login page. This 0-level nodes have no target defined so i only want the node to expand...

Hi,
Having no "target" for a list item will cause Apex to generate a URL that does not identify an app/page/session. You can avoid that part by changing the "Target Type" setting to "URL" and the URL setting to:
#" onclick="javascript:void(0);It looks strange, I know, but that does work.
This does not, however, allow you to expand/contract by clicking on the text for the node. None of the nodes do that - they are all designed to be links. It may be possible to do if you write all the links manually for each list item

I got the SSO page loging thru admin login and everything is fine .....i can get into build page groups etc.....

LDAP (OID) integration with java appilcation

Currently we are using the OID-LDAP as the repository for storing username, passwds
and other attributes. All applications that need authentication will essentially
be using the OID.
In our effort to do the same we are encountering the following problems
- Creation of an identity corresponding the application
- Giving this identity certain LDAP authorizations (Which authorizations are these)
We have been successful creating LDAP entries for users and getting the initial
JNDI contexts to do the lookups.
When we are creating the user lookup from java code using oracle.ldap.util.User pakage ,
at the run time it's throwing error(no classfound oracle/net/config/ConfigException ).
why and where this is needed and how to resolve that. is that because we haven't added
the application in oid and configured authorizations for it.
Need an urgent answer to this since all applications will be using LDAP(OID).

Slow data communication (LCDS 3.1) after upgrading to Flex SDK 4.1

I wonder if anybody experienced something like that.
It's quite a big project, currently running with Flex SDK 3.5.
After converting to SDK 4.1 and making all required adjustment the UI runs as good as before, with one problem - creation of new complex UI components takes much longer (3-5 times). Creation of some components involves a number of server calls, which according to Network Monitor do run much longer (e.g. 13 seconds instead of 4).
I'm considering 2 possibilities:
1. Something in UI is holding all threads, preventing service calls from finishing promptly, and making impression of slow network.
2. Server communication somehow got much slower. Against that the fact is because server calls are asynchronous they shouldn't prevent UI from drawing at least empty components.
Server code is the same for old and new UI, it runs Spring, Hibernate, Jetty (in dev mock) or Tomcat (on dev server), LCDS 3.1.
I've tried several LCDS 3.1 libraries with and without patches, SDK3 and SDK4 specific, with the same result.
Flash Player 10.1.xx debug.
Any idea?

Presumably Network Monitor registers facts that server communication is initiated (queued?), but doesn't say when Flash Player frees resources to make actual calls (switch to the second Frame?). Or something like that.

SRM7 - eSOA service documentation

Hi all gurus,
we're using SRM7 on our testing system and we enabled distribution of contracts to the backend test system using the new eSOA technology. I'm completely new to this kind of procedure; we've seen that the contract distributed are definitely wrong on the backend (e.g. service hierarchies are flattened, service lines have been "locked", and so on) and looking on the SRM system in sxi_monitor tx I can easily check that the XML itself is not correct.
Here are the questions:
- where can I get detailed documentation about this new service, from beginning to the end (SRM creation of XML -> XML sending -> backend receiving -> BAPI ? (I suppose) to create the document) of the process?
- specifically, what's the part of code (FM, methods) in which is defined how to convert the SRM document into an XML file? This should be the point in out task, since it seems that contracts are badly converted into the XML message...

Stocktransfer after UD doesn't work

Hi experts,
following problem:
Creation of a inspection lot (04) by release of a work order.
Inspection lot was created without inspection lot stock, because GR from WO wasn't done.
After WO confirmation, GR with MB31 (Mv-Typ. 101) was done.
Material goes to Q-Stock (917) with stock category "Q", inspection lot stock is now available.
--> this is ok
After UD "Acepted" stock category was changed from "Q" to unrestricted use,
but stock was not changed to main storage (100), it's still inQ-Stock (917).
Reason: In table QALS the storage number is not avaiable after lot creation and will not be updated after GR from WO.
The follow-up activitie (after UD) needs this storgae number to do the movement.
How can I update this information ?

You refer to storage number and use a 3 digit number for that.
I'm not familiar with that in QM. We do have storage location, which is normally a 4 digit code.
If you don't mean storage location, than we need some more info on this storage number.
If it is storage location, you can change the posting storage location of where it is posted to, but not where the stock is posted from.
Where did you follow-up action get the storage number from before? Was it working before?

Customer Deletion flag

Hi Gurus,
How to delete multiple customers (its not specified from 1 to 10 like, its like customer no: 2, 4,8,10,13,17,89,99,110 like)in one go, In XD06 we can enter only one customer number. I tried T. Code: MASS also, but could not find the solution.
please help me ASAP.

Hi Vamsi,
The CATT is primarly a testing tool and can also be used for mass upload of data. The CATT works as if an user is updating the values one by one.
The procedure to upload the data using CATT is done in four steps
a) Creating the CATT Test Case & Recording the sample data input
b) Download of source data file
c) Modify the source data file
d) Upload the data from source file
I have explained the procedure step by step and do note the following explanation is specific to your problem
Creation of CATT Test Case:
1)Go to TCODE [SCAT]
2)Create a Test Case by entering a name and clicking the TCD button in application tool bar
3)Enter the TCODE you want to execute [XD06]
4)Enter the customer number, company code and sales area data.
5) Select the required deletion flag and/or deletion blocks
6)Click on Save
7)End Recording
8)Click on Save and save as local object
9)Press Exit button and save changes while exiting.
Now we have created a recording for deleting a customer with a sample data.
Ensure while recording the transaction you do not get an warning or error messages else you might have to redo the recordng.
Download of source data file
1)In the [SCAT] screen select your test case and click on change
2)Click on choose button in the application tool bar
3)Click on field list in the application tool bar
4)Double click on the customer number and change the parameter name as &CUSTNO. Any field starting with & would be treated as an input field from a file. If you have to execute the customer deletion across multiple Sales Area you need to do the same for the Sales Area fields too
5)Remove the default value
6)Press Exit and save the test case
7)In the SCAT screen select your test case and in the menu bar Goto -> Variant -> Export Default
8)You would get a text file.
Now you have downloaded a source data file
Modify the source data file
1)Open the text file in Excel and load the remaining data
2)Remove the fourth line which starts with three asterisks
3)Below the customer number heading (&CUSTNO) load all the customers for which the deletion flag has to be set
4)Save the file as Text Delimiter
Now the data to be uploaded as been prepared.
Upload the data from source file
1)Go to [SCAT], select the test case and press F8
2)Select the processing mode as background
3)Chose variant as external from file
4)Click on choose and select the path of the text file
5)Press F8 for the remaing records to be updated
After execution press Enter to see the log. Any line highlighted in Red is an Error for which you need to do further analysis to find out the error reason.

Adding Bookmarks

Hi,
I had some problems creation bookmarks from a xml file with xml rules.
Therefore I wrote the following basic script to track the error I got.
The script inserts a root bookmark and a child in a new document.
When the bookmark panel is closed everything is fine!
When the panel is visible the root bookmark is created but then the child bookmark
overrides the name of the bookmark or the name is reseted to the default value ( bookmark 1 or in german Lesezeichen 1 e.g.)
When I rename the parent name ( myParentBookmark.name = "root";) this is fixed is this simple case.
But is this a feature or a bug?
Another question:
When I search the bookmarks for a bookmark with a special name like:
var myParentBookmark = myDocument.bookmarks.item(myParentName);
not all bookmarks and there child bookmarks are searched in ( I think because bookmarks on
different levels /indents can have the same name)
Is there a way to search all bookmarks ( the whole bookmark tree !) ?

I found a solution!
I have to create a Hyperlink for every bookmark!
See the adapted mySnippet() function.
BUT the Bookmark name is named from the hyperlink and NOT from the property in the add method!

Creation of a symptom/problem in CRM.(Solution Database)

Can anybody tell me what are the mandatory parameters for creation of a symptom/problem in solution database.
I am using a bapi:
BAPI_SYMPTOM_CREATE
can anybody tell me what all fields need to be populate for successful creation of a symptom.
It would also be nice if you can throw some light on the use/documentation regarding this bapi.
I am verifying the creation of symptom in table ISMP.Since when i create a symptom through transaction: IS01 it gets created in ISMP table but not through my BAPI. Please help.

u can create problem and solution in SDB,
by doing
Basic settings-->define number ranges (this is done by BASIS guys on SAF)
BASIC data filed is not required,
problems(prob type , prob subtype,define application area)
Solutions Solution type)
confugure this fields only ,
all the remaining fileds used to Activity, catalog Mgmt)
dont go with bapi's
u can use LSMW , this is better.
otherwise copy paste all the FAQ's manually in the system , and compile the Server for Delta compile, fullcompile, cluster compile,

Problem in creation of Customer Master

Hi gurus,
I am facing problem in creation of customer master.
I have created a account group zz01 copying from 0001.which has internal no. assignement for the customer.
Now i am trying to create a customer master, at partner functions level under sales area data... the system is asking for the no. for each partner functions.. when i tried to manually enter, the system is not taking any number nor it is letting me save the data.
Please help me out in acertaining, what could be the issue.

its due to the number ranges that is specified in the partner determination ... chech what is the number range assigned in the parner determination ,,, so once u check that u have to manually enter the number between that range only .. this should solve ur problem...
path to check the number range is as below :
spro-img-logistic generalbusiness partner-customers---define account groups and field selection ---
at this point click position button at the bottom and give ur account group .. select ur account group and click detail button .. now inside that u can see the specified number range .. dafault is 08 ( means u can specify between 400000 to 499999)..
and some times u may not have defined number range... check urs and create accordingly ... this should solve ur problem...
