Problem deleting search object connector template in template modeler

Hi Experts
By mistake I have created same search object connector in two different software components. Now in adminstration cockpit, template modeler when I try to create a connector, error message is displayed about the conflict in of same object names. Now I want to delete the business template under ESH_COMMON_OBJECTS, which I am not able to do. Please help me out

I resolved it. if delete is disabled,we can delete or rename the template after selecting the option 'resolve conflicts' in 'actions' dropdown. But even this didn't work with ESH_COMMON_OBJECTS templates, so I have created new template with different name.

Issue in Creating BO Search Object Connectors

We are in process of configuring the Enterprise Search in our project.
1. The Enterprise Search is available in ERP 6.0 , Netweaver 731 system
2. To the above system we are planning to connect a SAP ERP6 system ( SearchProvider).
3. We are using the following configuration guide.

Issues we are facing :
1. The Administation cockpit screen does not have the options to connect the backend system.
2. Also, there are no BO search variants available in Cockpit for Step - 'choosing the SAP BO Search Variants'.
3. Also, for some of the steps provided in the guide for creating BO search object connector , there are no options available to proceed.
Is this due to some non-installation software pack not available for Enterprise Search in our SAP system where Enterprise search implemented,
or any user authorization problems?
Could you please help us in the above queries.

Problems deleting computer objects-because of their subordinate objects

We are running a 2008 R2 domain. We have recently removed our techs out of Account Operators because we have read that is best practice. Our techs now have problems deleting computer account objects that have the msmq active directory objects
beneath the computer object. Even if I give the techs full control permissions on those computer objects, they cannot delete them because they cannot delete the msmq subordinate AD objects. The msmq objects are not showing a security tab, like
other subordinate objects do. If I delete the msmq objects with a Domain Admin account, then the techs can delete the computer objects. Any ideas of how I can fix it so they can delete the msmq objects, without being Account Operators?

E-Recruiting: Problems with search profile and serach templates

Hi Recruiting-Experts,
I´m facing problems with "Search Profiles" and "Search Templates"
(Customizing SPRO --> SAP-E-Recruiting --> Recruitment --> Talent Warehouse --> Candidate --> Candidate Search )
Out customers wants me to add a new search criterion to the talent search. It's a customer-field (type 'd' --> Date) belonging to infotype 5106.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work. The hit list is always empty.
What I did:
Customizing (see above)
Updated search profile (report RCF_RECREATE_SEARCH_PROFILES)
The result:
I can see and choose the new search criterion on talent warehouse search site (recruiters startpage)
I can find the data (internal format yyyymmdd) via transaction SKPR07 (see XML below, ZZEARLIEST_ENTRY 20090901)
By the way, the hit list is also empty when adding and searching for birthdate.
Has it got to do with the date stored in internal format?

Transaction for checking rights of objects in the web template

Hello,
I have the problem with some objects when I open the web template in the browser. I see yellow triangles and description "You haven't right for access to object MyObject". And so on. I don't know where can I check which rights I need for the template (like su53)?

Ok. I had added rights for transactions SU53 and RSRT for debugging. Then go to RSRT and open your report. If you haven't got some grantes you can see it on a result screen and SU53. No other ways are exists (OSS 1070694). I hope it'll be useful for you.

Trying to delete some files from a flash template (.fla file) in flash

Hi I am trying to delete some files from a flash template I purchased, when I open the .fla file in flash and go into the library, I would like to delete the contact box and the mp3 player, when I locate those files in the library and delete the files, the website no longer opens up (it will not work when I delete those files from the library) what am I doing wrong ? please help, I am fairly new to flash.

Problem with xsl:import and xsl:apply-templates select="element_name"

I import a xsl tranformation into another xsl file.
During the transformation i want to limit the transformation to certain xml elements using the select attribute in apply-templates. However if I want restrict to xml elements whose templates are defined in the imported file, they will not be called.
I'm using currently JWSDP1.4 but problem was also with 1.3.
Can anybody help: Is this not xslt spec compliant or just a bug inXALAN ?

Solved it by myself:
the problem was not the import but the following:
xml file: looks like:
<a>
 
 
 <c>
 </c>
</a>xsl file looked like and should omit output of <c> </c>:

<xsl:template match="b">
</xsl:template>
However / is not the level <a>, which I thought. So there was no matching .
I changed the xsl file to:
<xsl:template match="/">
<xsl:apply-templates />
</xsl:template>

<xsl:apply-templates select="b" />
</xsl:template>
<xsl:template match="b">
</xsl:template>
and it worked !

Problem in getting data while creating public template shopping cart(urgen)

I am technical guy...Could you please suggest me how to populate the purchase organisation details(be_pur_org) which is of type bbps_sc_app_item.
The problem is while creating normal shopping cart template it is displaying the vendor and inforecord details..when I use the same data for creating the public shopping cart it is not displaying the values (vendor and inforecord details) this is due to the missing of purchase organisation field value which is populated in the field be_pur_org which is of type bbps_sc_app_item.
Is there any badi's to populate the purchase organisation details...?

OWC PS5 - Content Presenter - Search functionality in custom list template

We have created a custom list template for displaying the contents and use this custom list template in the content presenter task flow.
We would need to implement Search functionality in the custom template.

Sorry to see that this post hasn't had a response from the search team for so long.
1 Search will not find content in portlets (for instance page portlets).
That is correct. The content of portlets may be different for each user so indexing this content can provide misleading results. However, if you only need to index public content, Oracle Ultrasearch can be used to index all portal content, including that displayed through portlets.
2 If Search Results Type in a custom search portlet is set to Pages, the search will be made in page display name, page keywords and page description. It will not search for item content.
Searching for pages checks the following pieces of metadata:
page name & display name
keywords
description
all custom text attributes associated with the page type
all custom url attributes associated with the page type
all custom file attributes associated with the page type
Items will not be searched but again, its possible to index the entire page using Ultrasearch.
3 It is not possible to search for items but get found item's page links as results.
This is incorrect. The custom search portlet allows the administrator to select the attributes that should be displayed from the search portlet's "edit-defaults" screens. From here, its possible to select the "page" attribute to be displayed with the search results. This means that you can search for items and then click on a link to go to the page on which the item resides.
Various improvements have been made for 9.0.4, including better control over the display of page results.

Problem in deleting Proxy Objects

I have deleted the Proxy but the Proxy Objects(Classes, Tables, etc.,) are still not deleted. I tried deleting them in se24/se11 but it says it is to be edited in SPROXY, but it is no longer visible in SPROXY. Is there some way to delete it?

Do you want to delete complete proxy objects or you want to regenerate it?
If I am not wrong all object get deleted when you delete proxy object. Anyway as suggested you can delete complete package..
If not try to regerate proxy and delete all objects again.

Create new search object for simple/embedded search

Hi,
SAP CRM contains indexing and search functionalities based on SAP Netweaver Enterprise Search. SAP delivers search models, connectors and search abilities for a lot of CRM objects, like Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, ...
However, some objects like "Service Requests" (BUS2000223) and "Tasks" (BUS2000125) are missing.
Has anyone tried to perform a complete extension of the whole process including template modeling, change pointers (for delta indexing), enhancing UI to provide search abilities for these objects, and so on?
I found different kind of information on how to create a new search object template, however, no further details about what comes after, e.g. how to index, how to handle change pointers for delta, what to do in the CRM web UI to provide search ability and result lists...

there is a new Book avaliable "mySAP CRM Interaction Center" from Thorsten Wewers and Tim Bolte. Currently it is only avaliable in german. But as I've seen from your Business Card that should be OK. There is also a Chapter about extendig the Search in IC WinClient.

I was able to open your file fine. I didn't even notice the period in my file name, I was using the template my printer supplied and that is what they had it named except I added DMS-Card to the front of it. I have never had any issues with opening files using that template before but I will change that and see if it helps. I also changed the font to a Parisian TTF I found at fontpalace.com
This issue I have been having seems to be intermittent, in that I can open a file I have been working on repeatedly for quite some time without any problems but then I open the file at some point and it occurs every time I copy/paste or delete an object. Then maybe after Illy crashes several times and I keep reopening the file it stops happening. I cannot figure any reason for it. Rebooting computer doesn't resolve the issue, it just seems like every once in awhile there is a problem and then for no apparent reason there isn't. I have had this issue off and on since I started using CC last year. I don't recall ever having this problem in previous versions. I have recently reformatted and re-installed my OS, and hence re-installed CC so I doubt there is an issue with my computer, I certainly have never had any other issues with other software. I suppose there could be a hardware related compatibility issue of some kind.

Error in FM DDIF_NAMETAB_GET when deleting BI objects via transport request

Dear all,
when importing a transport request in which several types of BI objects are deleted (Infocubes, DSO's, transformations, routines, DTP's, query elements, infosets, process chains). The import terminates only when transporting from acceptance to production with return code 12 due to an uncaught exception:
Transporting from development to acceptance did not raise this exception.
The ST22 dump (see below) refers in the "contents of system fields" section to a DSO, and to post-import activities. The DSO and the associated tables could not be found (rsa1 & se16), since they are deleted as desired.
Some of the relevant notes that I have found do refer to DSO related problems, but they all indicate to install SP19 which we already have installed (BW 7.0 Patch Level 23)
Could you please assist in pointing out potential solutions based on the information from the ST22 Runtime Error below?

We are also experiencing this same error when transporting deletions of multiple objects.
Although the transport was cancelled in the destination system (production) it appears to have largely deleted all objects successfully except for DSOs.
The DSOs still appear in the table RSDODSO (via SE11) but are not visible anywhere else. When you try to view the DSO via RSDODS a warning appears saying "DataStore object to be deleted by transport -> delete only allowed". If you try to delete them in this transaction the same ABAP runtime error as the transport appears.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I have a sub template which is defined by the following code:

The subtemplate is called by the following code:

The content of the template is a table on a two column page. When I run it in JDE, it looks like the table getting shifted couple rows down. If I run it locally on my machine as a regular, non template report, it appears fine. I suspec that the shift is caused by <?template?>, but not sure why and how. It causes major problems as the whole allignemnt of the data is appearing wrong when I run it as a sub template from JDE.
Any ideas why this happening and how I can fix that?

I found the problem. Extra spaces in the main template were shifting content. After I deleted extra and unnecessary spaces, the template looks as it is suppose to now.

Deleting OM object

Hi,
Does anyone know a way to delete an Org management object? We have tried PPOME and the detailed maintenance ways, but nothing will get rid of them.
They were created as part of a template delivered by SAP, the employees the Org Units and Positions were attached to were deleted, so we can not get rid of the relationship to the position or the org unit. It just tells us that the "employee does not exist".
Any help appreciated!

RPUDELPN - this tells me the personnel number 1795 does not exisit.
RHRHDL00 - this tells me I can not delete the objects as it is attached to personnel number 1795.
Any other ideas?
