Ive been getfing charged continually For several months for this app ok cCupid which I intended to try for at most month... THATS IT.
AS I HAVE NOTICED IM BEING CHARGED OVER AND OVER again for an application that I maybe used for a week or so . Please feel freeto check how much I have and did access fhe app so you can uncdestand.
MY CONFUSION and IRRITANCE ABOUT THIS IS BEcause after I tried to cancel it via the Iphone . apparently it was unsuccessful.The next time on my credit card statement I noticed another 1999 charge and now I was becoming a little bit upset.at this point I called my bank and I felt that my bank would be able to get through to the people at iTunes support and give me a little bit more customer service and I was actually wrong the gentleman that I spoke to was a bit inappropriate and unbecoming to me and made me feel like I was incompetent.The customer representative that I spoke to said that I was supposed to be able to do this through my phone under the settings and to be able to turn off the auto renewal. I asked him for some sort of credit because of the mistake that was made upon my original call and he said that we did not do that and I was like okay mistake happen.    The banker happen to still be on the phone with me when we disconnected from the Apple Support gentleman and he explained to me that he had had similar problems himself and he jokingly made a comment about the representative from Apple saying" wow he wasn't too friendly"     So now it's been several months and I continually see this charged to my iTunes account and I have done everything told to turn off the auto renewal I have even gone into the Apple store and they have tried to turn off the auto renewal to know avail.
    I'm a huge Apple fan and gently and good advocate and for the last couple months I continually see this popping up on my bill I don't know how to turn off the auto renewal for this okay Cupid subscription that I'd only used for not more than a week or two and I am reasonably sure that you guys can access my account and see how much and how often I use the service so what I'm askingis if you could at least turn off the auto renewal so my subscription will end and if you could possibly compensate me in any which way that would be awesome appreciated because I feel that I have gotten somewhat unsatisfactory service
you know I don't like to be a guy that calls and complains and you know it ****** and moans about petty stuff but in house after seeing a $20 charge on my account for the last four months at it becomes a little bit upsetting and you know I I hope that you guys can do something to reconcile this and please get back to me because that's another thing that I feel Apple does not do understandably you guys do have many many customers to deal with during the holiday season    I would really like some sort of call email any type of communication to help me understand what we can do about this and if anyway you can you know make it up to me if possible thank you very much and with all due respect I look forward to continuing to be an Apple customer thank you Ben Saltzman

I would like to stop the auto renewal for an annual subscription and can find no way to do so. If I cancel the subscription, I get charged. Issue adding Auto-renewable in-app purchase type via App Loader

I have a Pro DPS account and a Multi-folio with iTunes subscription Newsstand app.
I'm attempting to add paid 6-month and 12-month subscription options to what has previously been a Free subscription app.
I also want to charge for back-issues, and add each back issue as a non-consumable in-app purchase.
I'm building a new version of the app to support the in-app subscriptions...
After the app is built in App Builder, I added the following auto-renewable in-app purchase types via iTunes connect for the subscription options...
com.appname.6mo
com.appname.1year
I also added the following in the App Loader for each of the back-issues....
com.appname.issuename
I understand that I now have to submit my app and the in-app purchases via the App Loader. But after adding all in-app purchases and choosing to "Deliver" through App Loader I get the following error.

Yeah, created different subscription in-app purchases within the same family.
For non-consumables I used the same product ID for the published folio and in-app purchase. These were marked as FREE and Public at the time of submitting the in-app purchase, because I understood the in-app purchases would need to be approved before republishing those folios as PAID and public.

Hi, I would like to disable the auto renewal function on my account and cancel the purchase that Adobe is trying to do for me. I see this has been an ongoing issue for everyone.
It would be nice if there is some clarity to why there is an auto renewal added to all accounts. I believe, I have non opted in for one which under most EU regulations is required.

How can I turn off the auto renewal for Hulu Plus? I can not seem to follow the instructions given...I can not launch I tunes and have a menu appear.......
My special needs son accidentally signed up for this trial offer and I want it cancelled immediately. I have received an email from them, but can not get it to work and I have been trying for over a week.......feeling frustrated.

How/where are you trying to stop the subscription ?
If you are using iTunes on a PC and the drop-down menus aren't showing at the top of iTunes then see if control-B gets them to show, or try alt-S and see if that gets the Store drop-down menu to show. You should also be able to cancel subscriptions by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your iPod Touch an logging into your account.

Trying to turn off auto-renew for The Guardian. From PC.
I did the following:
1. Launch iTunes on your computer
2. Choose Store>Sign In from the iTunes menu.
3. Enter your Apple ID and password when prompted.
4. Choose Store>View My Account. You may be asked to re-enter your Apple ID password. Click
View Account. (I chose "iTunes Store", in the side bar, since the word "Store" in the menu bar didn't list "My Account". Then I chose "Account" in Quick Links, on the right-hand side of the screen. I got the "Account Information" ok.)
5. From the Account Information screen, scroll to the bottomof the page to the Settings section.
Then it said to: 6. Click "Manage" to the right of "Subscriptions".
The word "Subscriptions" does not appear in the Settings section. Nothing in the Settings section takes me to a page on which to manage my subscriptions.

For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.

This same exact thing started happening to me a few days ago.
Every time I open the iPod app - I'm prompted for User/Password. I even changed my password, thinking I forgot it, and still - insists that I enter this information. If i hit OK or Cancel it just keeps asking like a never ending loop.
Eventually, when I do fill out the info, it will go away until I re-open the iPod app. This is more of an annoyance than a real issue - but if it's a bug, I hope it gets resolved.
Any support in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Disable auto-update for SYSTEM on windows

I wrote an AIR app that is called via a php 'exec' command for my employer. This is part of an automated system where there is no user interaction. The problem is that whenever the application is run, every now and then it will open the Adobe AIR Updater, expecting user input to allow the update or cancel.
I downloaded the AIR Settings Manager app, and it does a great job of disabling this auto-update, but ONLY for the user running the app. Is there any way to disable the auto-updates for SYSTEM?

Setting HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\AIR\UpdateDisabled to 1 will disable runtime updates for ALL users. Adding the file%APPDATA%\Adobe\AIR\updateDisabled will disable updates on a PER user basis.
