Problem Downloading After Affects!

Hello,
I am currently trying to download Adobe After Affects Trial. However, When I try to download the Adobe Download Assistant I am meet with an error message saying " This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance."
I have Adobe pakages allready instuled from a disk. I have perchased. I would like some help

Strike91 please remove your current installation of the Adobe Download Assistant. Once ADA has been removed you should then be able to install successfully. Problems downloading After Effects

Sorry if I'm being dumb here...
I wanted to try out After Effects CS6, so I click the download link and the download manager came up. I installed and run that, logged in with my ID and all, but there is not After Effects coice for me to download. I see Photoshop, InDesign, etc, but no choice to download After Effects.
Is it a system requirements thing? programs that my system can't handle are not listed (would help if they said they couldn't work)
Is it a location thing? I'm in Singapore, is there a Country limitation?
Just asking.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem...everything goes smoothly, until Adobe application manager comes up with 13 options to install, but "After Effects" is not on the list. Just checked with my son , and apparently my computer is 32 bit. Would I be right in saying that's the problem? Any way to fix/change this, or a different version that allows for 32 bit? Thanks for all the feedback.

Problem downloading After Effects CC

I try to download After Effects CC through my desktop creative cload app but about half way through the download it stops and telss me I must close the applications: Adobe QT32 Server, AdobeCrashDaemon, and dynamiclinkmanager but I don't know what those are.

Restart your computer, and then try again. Those are helper utilities for various applications.

Hi, I am having a problem downloading After Effects CC (2014)

Whenever the download hits 54%, it totally stops. It's not my connection, I have checked it and it's all normal and I have tried it at 2 different places.
I would like to know what I can do to get the program.
By the way, it's the 30 days free version of it.

and activate with your serial number.
if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com or initiates the download of an incorrect (eg, current) version.

I tested it on an old iPhone 3G and got the same problem so it is not an iOS 5 issue. My WI-FI connection is working fine. I was wondering if this is an App Store problem? I have also been having another problem - with BBC iPlayer and other video streaming not working due to insufficient bandwidth, despite my overall download speed being consistently around 50Gb. This is also affecting AppleTV downloads

Hello, I hope by now you have resolved the upgrade issue, but if not, here is what I ended up having to do:
“SUCCESS!!! I took my iPod to a friend who is a computer programmer/genius. He turned off his wireless, hooked the ethernet cable directly into his computer, and the download went through without a hitch. YAY!”

I got an iPod Touch 1st gen for my youngest son for Christmas as a starter. It has the 2.1.2 ios on it, but after I paid for the upgrade to 3.1.1, I keep getting an error message (8288) saying there was a problem with the network connection. I have called customer service, and they suggested I try on a different computer, and if that didn't work, try connecting to a different network, and then trying the update. None of this has worked. It seems that tech support is clueless with this issue.
I have installed and unistalled iTunes 10.5, 10.3, 10.4, and now I am back with 10.5. I have tried looking up the issue from several search engines but no one seems to have a universal solution and I have tried several.
I really want to have this thing updated for himw hwne he opens it, but I am starting to worry that my purchase was a bust. I know this is the oldest version, but I don't want to buy a newer, more expensive iPod and him still not be mature enough to really take care of it. As I said, this one is a starter.

Now, there seem to be a lot of different ways to solve the 8288 error, none of which are universal. Best of luck getting yours upgraded!

P.S. The post by Sparkhi is a link to his blog going into a long story about how he wanted Apple to pay him for “solving” the issue….the one that apparently has been solved by multiple solutions. I’m not trying to bash, it just bothers me that he put up this whole story and finally, at the very end of his blog post, posts his solution.

Elmerfuddgantry please reinstall the Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x86) as directed by the error message. This is a component of your operating system which appears to currently be damaged. Please see Latest Supported Visual C++ Downloads for information on where you can download a new package.
