Problem downloading all my music
Resently I upgrade my old itunes to the new version available. I have up to 60G of music and pretend to add more from other hard drives I have. The thing is that I "download all my music" but when I really check the itunes library vs my hard drive library, there was a lot of folders, music and information that never reach itunes(The songs and info in the HD are intact). Also, in the process of passing music to iTunes, there were a few music or folder that need conversion to aac. It need three days to do that conversion and as I told, never did the full pass of the music and songs. What can I do to pass all my music (100%) to iTunes without duplicate any song or folder? When I want to pass the other volume of music, How can I do it without duplicate the music I already pass?
Resently *I ERASE ALL MY 60 GIGA* of music and *DOWNLOADED FROM 0!!!!* To make the things worst I have to supervise the download because iTunes put a full cd were ever he want. EXAMPLE PEOPLE, a cd with ALL the info needed, iTune put it in a Compilation folder or a various artist folder. What the ****!!! Its the same problem and no one can answer it!! Is that difficult to manage iTunes? Please. Put some Engineer to work on it. On other programs I can throw all the music scrambled and they can manage it and organized by it self. I can also do the same with the files to a memory card to my organizer and it can do the same. I was going to give my Wife a ipod cell phone but if it is that difficult on a player I don't want to imagine how difficult would be to manage the phone. Please, some one, this would be my last chance before starting to look for a REAL player. I'm puting it on cap so it can be understandable: I HAVE MY MUSIC ON A FOLDER ON MY COMPUTER. I WANT ITUNES TO ADD ALL FOLDERS "*** IS" TO THE PLAYLIST WITHOUT MIXING IT UP. IF THE FOLDER IS OF "DISTURBED" AND I HAVE 3 CDS OF THEM, I WANT TO PUT ON THE PLAYLIST THE 3 CDS WITH THE INFO REQUIRED AS I HAVE IT ON THE FOLDERS AND ON THE ORIGINAL FOLDERS I WANT ITUNES TO LEAVE THEM AS ORGANIZED AS I HAVE THEM FROM THE FIRST TIME. I DON'T WANT TO CREATE ANOTHER FOLDER WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION OR NOTHING. Please, I don't want scientific explanations. Go straight to the point.

How can I download ALL my music from the cloud to an external device?
This seems simple enough, yet I've had nothing but problems downloading all my music in the Cloud to my Mac OR to an external device (preferred).
How, exactly, is this accomplished? Many thanks for any direction.

Kids ipod gets the 13019 error after trying to sync. I have done all the suggestions online and now it has no music and will not sync.
It seems to download all the music and on the last song clicks out and says unknown error.
any other suggestions?
Kid is mad now there is NO music on the ipod. At least before it had the old music and just would not download new songs.
All worked on our iphones, and other ipods. Just hers is wacked.
thanksI've encountered the same problem as this recently, but unfortunately i haven't worked out how to fix it yet.
I tried to fit too many songs on my ipod nano from itunes, and it told me it would create a selection of these (titled my songs) and put them on the nano, which it did. I then went back onto itunes to delete some songs so that they would all fit on the nano. I also deleted the "my songs" playlist, knowing that all the songs were still stored under Music on itunes. When i tried to sync the nano it said that it couldn't be synced as the required disk cannot be found.
HELP, PLEASE! -
After creating a new playlist in iTunes, how can I add my entire music library --at once-- to the new playlist. I want to download all my music from Icloud at once on my Macpro
You have two separate questions here...
To get all your music into one playlist, select Music in the sidebar and click the Songs view at the top. Then, highlight all the songs and drag them into your playlist.
I don't know if it's possible to download all Purchased content (or do you mean iTunes Match content?) at once; try a few Google searches. -
I have downloaded all my music from the cloud to my new iPhone and created playlists so I can listen to it when not it wifi like when on a plane. If I turn on iTunes Match will I still have this music still downloaded? The online information suggests all my music will be replaced. Will I have to download it again??
What you have on your computer is your iTunes library, not an iTunes "account." The account that is related to iTunes is your Apple ID, which you use to sign in to the iTunes Store and make purchases. It is also used with iCloud. iPods (that are not iPod touch) are associated with your iTunes library, not to your Apple ID.
So, I think you probably just need to set up (or update) automatic syncing for the iPod. If it's not set up to sync those new songs, iTunes still syncs the iPod, but it syncs nothing
In iTunes, if the sidebar (along left side of iTunes window) is hidden, from the menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar. In the sidebar, the iPod appears under DEVICES, when it is connected.
Select the iPod in iTunes. There is a row of buttons, starting with Summary. Click on Music next to Summary. This is the iPod's Music screen, where you tell iTunes how to sync songs to the iPod.
Check the box for Sync Music (if it's not already checked). If your iTunes music library fits completely on the iPod, you can choose to sync Entire music library. Otherwise, you can choose to sync Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres. On the lists below, checkmark the playlists, artists, albums, and/or genres that you want on the iPod. When you click Apply, the songs from your selection sync to the iPod.
One convenient way to set this up (if you can't sync the entire iTunes music library) is to create a new playlist in your iTunes library. Name it "iPod Songs" (or whatever you want). Put ALL songs that you want on the iPod on this playlist, including those new songs. Back on the iPod's Music screen in iTunes, select this playlist under Playlists. Going forward, to update songs on the iPod, just update that playlist in your iTunes library (add/remove songs). The next time you connect the iPod (or click the Sync button), iTunes automatically syncs the same changes to the iPod. -

Just bought a new imac and tried to download all my music from my iPod but it only allow me to download purchased items and not the rest of stuff stored on a previous pc itunes folder. How do I get round this ?
The simplest way to transfer everything is to copy the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder from old computer to /Music/ on new computer.

My computer died, so trying to connect my phone on a new computer and download all my music to the new computer/itunes?
The iphone is not a storage/backup device. The sync is oen way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Devices>Transfer Purhases
Copy everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new one. -

A few years ago I bought music from Itunes. Recently I deactivated all computers in order to add a new computer. Most of the music I purchased came through, but I am still missing about 30% of it. How can I download all the music I have purchased from Itunes?
Might have luck with that here > Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Previous purchases may be unavailable if they have been refunded or are no longer on the iTunes Store.
Make sure and use the same Apple ID that was used for the original purchases. -
HT4914 can i download all my music again back to my computer?
Can i download all my music back to my computer from Itunes Match?
Hello ekundayo95,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
For more information on this, take a look at:
iTunes 11 for Mac: Access all your music anytime, anywhere with iTunes Match

Play or download songs from iCloud
You can play songs directly from iCloud, or you can download songs so you can play them when you’re not connected to the Internet.
If a song is available in iCloud, it has a Download button next to it.
To play the song, double-click it.
To download the song, click the Download button.
After you download a song to a computer, it remains in the computer’s iTunes library, even if you turn off iTunes Match.
Best of luck,

My HP lap top downloads all my music to the windows media player, my itunes, as well as HP connected. Is this taking up 3 times the space on my computer as it would if it only just used one? I only want music on my itunes, but it puts it in all 3.
when I go to the youtube, the WMP pauses the music by itself, and when I close the youtube, the WMP resumes the music byt itself!
