Problem downloading because I have 2 Apple IDs using a single computer

Hey guys,
I use a single Mac for 2 Apples IDs. So, I bought a movie a week ago in my Apple TV and now when I trting to download it to share with my other devices I got next error message
How can I fix the problem?

Mac App Store and iTunes Store content can only be updated with the Apple ID that purchased it. So you Mac apps can only be updated with the old ID and your iOS apps can only be updated with the new ID.
As far as OS X, at this point you can purchase Mountain Lion with whichever of your IDs that you choose. You are not tied to using the ID that bought Snow Leopard. However, if you start mixing and matching, it will become confusing to you. I would stick to using the old one strictly for the Mac content and the new one for iTunes content.

Easiest way is to create separate computer logins with all your own info including your own iTunes library.
I recommend each individual not have more than one AppleID because you will have purchases on multiple accounts
You can use more than one AppleID in an iTunes library.
AppleID/iTunes =used for purchases.
iTunes library = iTunes and all media on your computer.

How to manage multiple users/devices/Apple IDs on a single computer

I got my 8 year old an iPad mini for Christmas and I'm about to set it up but I need some advice on using multiple IDs on one computer. I have an iPhone 4s. I assume I will need another Apple ID for the iPad mini so she can use Facetime. How do you manage two devices with different IDs on one computer? Will my movies and music be available for the iPad mini ID? What happens when I plug the iPad into my computer? Do my iPhone apps on my account disappear? Do I need to log out of my iTunes store account? Is their a danger in mixing the two accounts? I was told to be careful if you plug another iPhone into your computer because it can wipe your phone and replace it with another users info if you don't log out/in correctly. It's very confusing so if anyone could give me some advice on how to set this up and manage two IDs and devices on one computer it would be helpful. Thanks:)

Your daughter is too young to have an Apple ID because the minimum age is 13 years old. You can use her email address for FaceTime and Messages. You add the address as the contact address when you activate both of those apps. But both apps will still have to be tied to your Apple ID.
I was managing 5 different devices with one iTunes library and all devices had their own unique content on them. It is not that difficult to manage.

you have to use the same ID you used to purchase an App to update it.
Normally when you go to the App Store and tap update for an App your iPhone will prompt you for the correct ID needed to update that particular App, but if this is not happening, then you should go to Settings, Store, sign out of the other Apple ID and log in with the one you need to update the App that is already installed on your iPhone..

i have an iphone and yes i bought it! the problem as described above, is with all my Apple IDs, actual emails and devices i own.
after upgrading the iphone to iOS 7 im stucked at the activation lock and im OK with that - i can see my email (i guess) as the one supposed to free my phone.
still when i try to login with my details i receive the "********@gmail.com cannot be used to unlock this phone" - and truely i see other devices under this Apple ID but not the one im trying to unlock.
i deeply understand this security mechanism, the only thing im asking for is an option to send an email to the specific email attached to this phone, because obviuslly i dont remember which email is attached to this device - but what about sending a notification to that email ?
will that be possible ?

Sorry for hijacking your thread as put by Dahveed. However I have resolved my issue so I thought I'll share it with the rest of you.
I checked for the error 3194 in youtube and I found some good videos that tell you how to resolve the problem. The issue I was facing was the actually (I know because I have resolved it now) the communication between my computer and apple server which can be fixed as following (if you are using windows):
There is file in following directory:
C:\Windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts
The file normally has no extension and it is in file format. You need to open it and make sure that every line that has apple server id starts with "#". In my case one of the line started directly with the ip address and then gs.apple.com.
Perform your restore/update after that and hopefully it should be resolved (mine did).

I think I have two Apple IDs but must have typed in the wrong birthdate when I created my main one, because I can't recover it, but need to.

I have read all the Apple ID support notes, but cannot find how to recover my account in my case. I mistakenly thought I should change my AppleID to my new email, and when I tried to do that, I lost the thread. I recieved a verification email sent to my new email (so it must have added ok) but when I go to change my password, I never get that confirmation email. So when I try to access the account by answering security questions, I must have typed in the wrong birthdate way back when, and I can't get past that screen. What now? I seem to be able to access an AppleID that does not include any of the games I've purchased over the years, so it must be a newer one I inadertently set up. Thus, I haven't been able to access my main working account for awhile now, and I really want to buy some things and have them on my iPad & new iPhone. I too added 2nd apple ID when I tried to get Free app from apple store just to get to NONE on the credit card needed. It said it sent confirmation email to my new apple ID email that I have to confirm. Problem is I can not get to the new apple ID email account. On my ipad it logs into my original email account and I see no where to log into another email account. If I go to my laptop, the new apple ID I created does not let me log into email where apple said it was sent to. It did not send to back up email account either.

No, in this case the 2 user accounts with its own Apple IDs would be completely seperated.
If you want to share this things like music and app purchases you will have to to something else.
1. Create two user accounts on your Mac (user A and user B).
2. Create two iCloud accounts just for Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Photos, etc. (one for user A and one for user B):
On your Mac (with Mac OS X Lion or Mountan Lion):
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > iCloud > Create an Apple ID (button in left corner)
On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch (iOS 5 or later):
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account > iCloud > Get a free @me.com address and create a new Apple ID

It is not recommended because you shouldn't share your Apple ID account information with other people but you could set up your old Apple ID as an account just for store purchases (Apps, Music, ...) so that everyone of you can manage the purchases in their own library (Access is limited to 10 devices). Therefore you have to setup this "old" ID in Settings of your iOS devices (Settings > iTunes & App Store) and in iTunes on your Mac.

Apps and Music are not from iCloud. Are from iTunes and App Store.
You can change this from: Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Sign out and sign in with new ID, but you will have to pay again to download apps that you already have in your old account. Or leave it as it is to share purchases with your son.

The recommended solution for most families is to share the same Apple ID for iTunes and App Store purchases, so you can share your purchases, but us different IDs for iMessage, FaceTime and iCloud. With this arrangement, each person can automatically download purchases made on the shared ID (by turning this feature on in Settings>iTunes & App Stores), while keeping their FaceTime calls, text messages and iCloud data (including photo stream) separated. There is no requirement that the ID you use for purchasing be the same as the ID you use for these other services.

If both accounts are authorised on the computer's iTunes that you sync them to, and the relevant apps are on that computer, then you should be able to sync them to both devices. The apps will be tied to the account that originally bought/downloaded them, so only that account will be able to download updates to them.

I have two apple IDs. One is used for most things - Itunes, Apps. The other is the Icloud apple ID which I set up separately when I got my Ipad. I decided to keep them both as I was worried about losing info. However, on updating my Ipad to IOS7, it asked for a password for Icloud apple ID which I have forgotten. I have tried to reset it. The first time, Apple sent me a link inviting me to change the password on my Itunes apple ID which I don't want to do. So I tried to sign in again using the Icloud ID. Rather than asking for email verification this time I asked it to verify security information. It asked for my date of birth which I gave, but it was rejected. So I seem to have no way of resetting the password for the Icloud apple ID. I know I can't merge the 2 IDs so i don't know what to do now!!

Firstly, go to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with the ID you use for iCloud. A new password will be sent to your associated email address.
If that doesn't work, for example because it's going to an address you can't access, then you will have to contact Support. If you have content from both accounts on the iPad then the only way to remove one of them is to remove all of that account's content from the iPad - content is tied to the account that bought/downloaded it.
