Problem downloading Illustrator Trial

Okay, today I downloaded from this website the Adobe Illustrator 30-day Trial. After the download finishes I have two things on my desktop. ADBEILSTCS4_LS1.7z and ADBEILSTCS4_LS1.exe. Now, once they both finish I put them in a folder together, and run the ADBEILSTCS4_LS1.exe. After this finishes extracting the files into a folder, I open the folder and find the Setup. I click this button and barely anything happens. The top of the folder it is in turns to a lighter shade of blue, (as if I had selected a different window) and that is all. If I go into my Task Manager, I see that the Setup is listed on there, but it is nowhere on my Desktop. If I "End the Process" and try again, the same exact thing happens.
This is really bothering me because I would like to try using Adobe Illustrator before I decide if I am going to buy it or not. Any help is DEFINITELY appreciated.

It could be that you have a piece of spyware or a virus that has
infected or compromised key files. Scan and check your system. You
could also have a bad piece of hardware such as memory or hard drive.
You could also try installing in Safe Mode.

    I have unsuccessfully tried to download the RoboHelp 9 trial version using various browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari) on both my work and personal laptops.  Received the following error message when trying to download the trial this morning using Safari.  Has anyone else had problems downloading the trial version?  I just ran across download information on Adobe's website this morning stating that popups, firewalls, 3rd party security, etc. must be disabled before downloading.  Is this the problem or is there an issue at Adobe's end??
    I haven't used RoboHelp in many years and need to get the trial installed asap in order to compare against Flare 8.

    Yes probably, your firewall, might be obstructing.
    I was wondering, in case you are still facing the issue then you can try following steps too--
    1) Go to this page (copy to your address bar)
    https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=robohelp&loc=en_us&promoid=DJDVH
    2) Log in using your Adobe ID and Password
    3) Copy paste each of the below links in the address bar, one at a time and hit "Enter" from keyboard (Return)

    http://trials.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/RBHP/9/win32/RoboHelp_9_WWEFDJ.7z
    4) Once you ahve downloaded both of the links, use the EXE to initialize the installer.

    i was having problems  downloading the trial version of photo shop.. per advice I used the adobe cc tool... if finally downloaded  and installed but now says there was a patch error... HHHHHEEEELLLPPPP!

  • Download Illustrator trial to flash drive

    Downloaded Illustrator trial version to my flash drive because have dial up at home.  Says both files are complete but asking what application to use to open it.  I have Vista on PC at home.  Will I be able to transfer the download from flash to PC and install and open it?  If able to, will Vista know what program to run?

    OK guys, luckily a nice graphics design guy just popped in and answered my question--yes it will open on the PC as long as I downloaded the Windows version.  The Mac I downloaded it on just doesn't recognize the .exe file.  Maybe this will answer somebody else's question now.

    I'm trying to download the trial version of Illustrator.  When I click on the link it says it's downloading, but there's no status bar to show if anything is happening....I initially clicked on the link an hour or so ago....how can I tell if anything is actually happening?

    Uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud.
    For Windows:
    Open the Windows Control Panel > Programs And Features.
    For MAC:
    Open Finder and go to /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers.
    After Uninstall navigate to the OOBE folder.
    Windows: C Drive\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
    Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
    Delete OOBE folder.
    Download Creative Cloud Reinstall and Sign in .

    Install the application from the APPS panel on the top of Creative Cloud Desktop.

    I am an Abobe member and have downloaded the creative cloud and apparently the trial too but it is not in my files and I cannot open it on my laptop. I have tried to download the program again with no luck. How can I directly contact Adobe I just want to talk to someone directly.

    After downloading you need to double click on the downloaded .dmg file to install the software.

    Whenever I try to  download a trial version of any Adobe product I get the message that the file does not exist. I can't find out what the problem is, I am using mac.

    I'm having a ton of trouble trying to download a free trial of InDesign. I've never downloaded a trial before and have an active ID. I used Safari and Firefox and both of these messages would pop up on both browsers when I tried to download Creative Cloud and InDesign trials. Nothing is working and I'm very VERY annoyed by this. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it!

    Without proper system information we can't say anything. Error Code 1 usualyl means your system is not at all compatible, which could be as trivial as a missing OSX update...

    I've already downloaded Photoshop successfully, and Creative Cloud is showing on my desktop and the files seem to be in place.  When I try to dowload Illustrator it asks for an application to link to.  I chose the .exe for Creative Cloud.  It tries to initialize and then just stops.  If I double click on Creative Cloud or on the .exe file, nothing happens.

  • Problem downloading free trial version of lightroom 5

    I downloaded the beta version of lightroom 5 without a problem but when I try to download the free trial version when I click on the download button nothing happens. My wife uses a mac and she got LR5 without any problems. I have altered my firewall and allowed popups but still no joy - can anyone help

    What system are you on? LR 5 won't run on anything but Win 7 or Win 8 even if the Beta ran on Vista and even XP. If you are not on the right OS, it will never work.

    i cannot download the free trial version of creative cliud on my imac. each time i try i get an error message to check my internet connectivity and firewall settings.  i do not believe i have any firewall as this is a new imac bought only 3 days ago and my internet connectivity is fine as i can download other programmes and have no problem browsing web pages.
    please can someone help as i am worried that if i purchase a subscription the same thing will happen.

    Welcome to the forums!
    Have you tried downloading any other file from internet to check if this problem is just with Adobe Creative cloud or other files as well. Also, to start please try the below step:
    This error might come if the files are not able to access certain files, please try and download in the Root user on your iMac.

    Try to delete AAMupdater folder from
             ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/ If above doesn't worked then perform below steps
    Rename the opm.db file under
            ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
