Problem downloading Maps application and map loade...

I have the maps 2.0 app running fine on my E90 but wanted today to download the latest and also the map loader to save some data costs.
When I try I get the EULA screen but the only option I get is to close it, am I doing something wrong?

Ok so now the map loader is downloading but still not maps application ........
Is there like maintenance or updating that takes place and temporary unavailaibility or something?

Sounds like a verification issue on whatever marketplace you bought PS Touch from. Did you try contacting Google or Apple to see what they say?

Mapping Application and GPS Location

I have a BB Curve on Verizon. I have used the mapping application to locate local businesses. When I try to map to those locations, the device wants to know my starting location. How do I make it use my current GPS location? It obviously knew where I was in order to tell me how close I was.

From what I have read on both this forum and Crackberry's Verizon 8330 GPS is not enabled unless you pay for VZ Navigator. However, Google maps uses cell towers as well to triangulate your position, if your GPS is disabled. Google Maps works real well, as long as you can live with being APPROXIMATLEY on a location. In my case I am within 5,000 meters while at home. When I travel downtown I've had it go to within 500 meters. I believe that difference is the amount of cell towers in the area.
Google maps is free, VZnavigator is a monthly fee of around $10 I think.

a) I don't have DMG either in applications but I have '''Document''' instead.
So '''set "Document" to Always Ask '''going to Firefox>Preferences>Applications
Now it will always ask if you want to Open or Save the file.
b) If already downloaded, check what's under Get Info > Open with
It should say Open With DiskImageMounter (see pic)

Typo in this section:
Remove an unused map ID
Your map files must be unlocked to use this option. To remove unused map IDs:
Expand the Context-Sensitive Help folder in the Project Set-up pod.
Right-click the Map Files folder.
Select Edit.
Do the following:
Map Files Select the map files from which to remove unused map IDs.
Select All Click to remove unused map IDs from all map files.
Clear All Click to deselect all map files and not remove unused map IDs.
The third point should read "Select Remove Unused Map IDs..." instead of "Select Edit"; then the rest of the topic makes sense.

HT1688 Problems downloading an application

My iphone 4S keeps posting, "Improve Apple ID Security, choose three security questions and answers". I click "continue" and it doesn't give me the option and does not allow me to download an app

I would like to just chat w/someone about my issue. I downloaded an application for a job on Adobe Reader XI, but the fonts keep changing, for example: my signature is font size 14 & bold, and the date is size 10 & not bolded. I've tried saving it to word, and my flash drive. I get the same toolbar.
I cannot figure out how to change it, it's like the toolbar I need is not there. Can you help?

K790i - Problem in accessing Application and Games Folder

I am not able to open the Application and Games folder on my Sony Ericsson K790i Mobile Phone.
It gives me an exception "Operation Failed".
Please advise, what needs to be done.

Unfortunately this can generally only be resolved by master resetting the phone. Please backup any content you wish to keep prior to doing so. You can find this option: Main Menu > Settings > General > Master Reset > Reset all.

i did what you have suggested to unsync the music and then re-sync again. should i try to cancel all the music in the library and then restore them again. can it work? i dont want to bet coz reloading so much music is very trouble.

Cant find the BB maps application and others

Hello all,
I have my BB 8900 curve brand new only 4-5 days old. In the main menu I can not see any icon of the BlackBerry maps plus one more application that I installed via the computer.
These applications appear as installed in the Advanced Options-> Applications but they do not appear in any folder as an executable icon like Options, SMS, Media etc.
Where can I find them and and make them appear in the main menu?

I think what happened here is you attempted to mix and match versions of Garageband. Your issues are unlikely to have to do with Leopard versus Tiger. Since both Macs you have are Intel CPU Macs and they are just simply different generations of Mac Pro, your best method of migrating would be the migration assistant. Drag and dropping the audio files, after deleting what came with machine introduces a lot of room for error. So first, restore Garageband following these instructions from the discs that shipped with your Mac:

Don't trash the Library files, those are bad habits you should avoid.

After updating to iOS6, I can no longer find the "little yellow man" in the MAP application and so cannot do a virtual tour of my destination or current position. Surely this feature has not been lost?

I have recently updated to iOS6. With this new version came the "new and improved" MAPS. One of the most important features i enjoyed on the previous version was the google map feature of being able to take a virtual look at your position or destination by using the "little yellow man". I no longer see this feature and am wondering what I am doing wrong. Obviously apple would not be so negligent as to remove this feature on purpose!

That feature you mentioned is called Google Street View. As you see in its name, it has Google in it.
Apple is no longer working with Google for their map system, for many unknown reasons (we can only speculate). Therefore, it is normal that Street View is not included anymore.

Problem in updating applications and downloading podcasts after upgrading to iOS 6

Haha, thanks for the tip! I was just curious if anyone had this problem at all. I just found it odd that before iOS 6, I had version 5.1 (which came standard with my iPad at the time) and there was no delay. You click on/off button for Airplane Mode or WiFi and the function would turn on or off instantly... Just annoying have to wait several seconds for a response. Thanks for the input though.

Recently i face problem in TB about it always loading thats why i uninstall and reinstall yesterday,in starting it download 85000 messages and again loading.

85 000 emails? thats a lot. Apparently all those emails are on your email-server. When you connect to that server it will try to download all that isn't already downloaded. And if you installed a new TB without keeping your old data, or they are corrupt. it will download everything you have "subscribed" to. Depending on your settings to keep email on server or not, how and when to delete from server. Set up lokal folders, make some filters moving email to those folders (and deleting them from server)
Subscribe to one server-folder at time.
Compact your folders regularly

I am having problem with my email update. i am not getting my email update in time on my iphone4 since i installed ios6. that was fine with ios5.
I brought iphone5 but still the same problem. its not shown automatically in my iphone screen whenever i get my email.

The problem? It's actually pretty simple: Microsoft implemented their mail processing in a way that has greatly assisted folks using Microsoft products and Microsoft platforms, and established an "export" mechanism when communicating via mail in heterogeneous computing environments. Microsoft tools including Microsoft Exchange Server and their systems running Microsoft Windows are a good and very capable mail environment system, with great scale and very well integrated mail, calendar and related processing, and some exceedingly useful tools including SharePoint that have no real analog with OS X, Unix or Linux systems. But these tools don't necessarily interoperate entirely nicely in heterogeneous environments; with non-Microsoft tools and platforms.
The winmail.dat mechanism is a part of the whole Microsoft infrastructure, and particularly when the information is being "exported" out from the Microsoft environment, and into a non-Windows and non-Exchange environment. The determinate here involves the settings chosen by the various senders. (Possibly also by the defaults chosen by the administrator of the Exchange Server(s) involved, but I haven't checked that.)
Here's the Microsoft knowledge base article that describes the specificss of the winmail.dat file.
There are tools around to read the TNEF-format winmail.dat files on OS X and other platforms, including TNEF's enough for OS X, and likely various other tools. Or get your senders to reconfigure their settings for you when they're sending messages to you, as described in the Microsoft KB article.
