Problem downloading Reader 9.1 (error 13.16)

I have Reader 9 but I've been prompted by Kaspersky to update to 9.1. It looks good, up until what appears to be the last of the update/install and it says error 13.16 and verbiage about not being to complete the action. Any thoughts? I run Windows Vista.

If you have anti virus software installed, you need to disable that in order to download apps.

Problems downloading songs (store 404 error message)

Hi folks,
Yesterday i bought an album and am getting the following error message "The url "^0" could not be found on the server"
This is for the "Top Gear / Opus 17 - EP" album, which only contains 2 songs.
I've tried the Store->Check for purchases menu option to try and download the songs again after restarting iTunes, but still get the same error. The status column in the download pane lists "stopped (err = 404)" for both songs.
Anyone else ever experience this problem? I downloaded 2 other songs in the same session and they downloaded fine (one before & one after the above mentioned album)

Same problem. It all started on the week of New Years. I also received a new iPod Touch and downloading Apps is fine on it. I thought at first the speed was due to an un estimated amount of customer downloads, but... looks like I might be wrong. If anyone has an answer please tell me, I've never had this problem since I got my first generation Nano.

Are you getting this error on some songs you are trying to download from iTunes? Have you been able to fix it? If not, do you have on home sharing? If so, please turn it off and try to download your song. Please let me know if this works!

Why am I getting an error message 1500 saying that there is another installation going on and that is why Reader cannot be installed. There are no other installations going on!

You can try using this tool to first remove all traces of Reader from your computer:

Then, you can download the full offline Reader installer from
http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
After downloading, restart your computer and run the installer before doing anything else.

Problem downloading Reader X

When I try to downlaod Reader X (or any other Reader version) using Firefox (or IE), it installs an add-on, but it doesn't actually install Reader and doesn't give me any other options - the download process ends after I install the add-on. I don't know much about add-ons - normally when I download soemthing, it either downloads it directly and I can immediately start running it, or it downloads an installer that I can use to install and run the program. Not sure why that's not happening here.
Any free version of Reader is fine, it doesn't have to be Reader X... as long as I can can read, save and print pdf documents. Any suggestions?

Having problems downloading Reader 10 X. Is there a "uninstaller" .exe file available to remove all previous versions, references, and language fonts for Reader 9 ? There is an "uninstaller" .exe for FlashPlayer. Please advise. Thank you.

Based on my Add/Remove/Programs, I had Adobe Reader 9.4.5 installed (no other versions were listed). Using the "remove" option in the Add/Remove/Program listing, I uninstalled Adobe Reader 9.4.5. When I tried to download Reader 10.1.1 from Adobe, there was an error stating the download could not complete because there were earlier versions installed. Looking through "my deskstop" and "C" drive, I found there was Adobe Reader 9.2.0 .exe. file. Also, another issue is the Language fonts listed in Add/Remove/Programs are not easily detected because the name doesn't begin with Adobe. When you sort by name, you will find Chinese Language Reader Font, Korean Language Reader Font, etc. This requires people to searah for all references to Adobe Reader. Having an "uninstaller" for Reader would make it much easier for people to ensure the uninstall of Reader is complete - removing all previous versions, references and language fonts, before they attempt to install the latest version for Adobe Reader. Only developer's have access to iOS 6 now. Thus, if you are a developer you have have access to the developer's forum for iOS 6.
Otherwise you have a bootleg copy and are on yur own./

Hello everyone,
When I try to download the latest episode of my podcast feed, I see an exclamation mark next to the episode. When I click on the exclamation mark for more information, I see the following error message:
"There was a problem downloading <podcast_episode>. An unknown error occurred (-50). Please check that the URL is correct and the connection to the network is active and try again."
I was hoping that somebody might take a look at my feed and review the code for any potential problems. It can be found here:

Important notes:
1. This is not XML code. It is an XML generator created in PHP.
2. This feed used to work fine in iTunes. I had many episodes already downloaded.
3. I began noticing the problem after upgrading to iTunes version 7 and beyond.
4. I know at least 3 other people that experienced the same problem with my feed after upgrading.
5. Upgrading to newer service packs (7.0.2 for example) has not solved the problem.
6. I ran my feed through an RSS validator. It spotted 2 errors: (1) the width of the podcast image and (2) the syntax of the <source> tag. I made corrections but they did not solve the problem. I changed them back after that.

After upgrading to Itunes 11 it refused to play movies I had purchased through the Itunes store, even though I could see the files were there on my hard drive, and the movie covers were visible in Itunes. I discovered that the only way to get them playing was to redownload them from the Icloud. If this wasn't bad enough (I have over 200GB of movies) I am getting the following error on particular files.

I hope somone can help me with both problems because whilst my ISP might like to see me download 200MB of data (I pay extra when I go over 20GB in a month), I would not. Also the error problem would be usefull to correct because I would hate to lose any of my Itunes purchases. I should probably mention that I am using Windows 8 64 bit.

This can happen when the connection timeout occurs while downloading purchased content from the iTunes Store. Certain types of software may also affect the way a computer sends and receives information from the internet. Here are a few examples of these types of software:
- Firewalls
- Web Accelerators
- Ad Filters
- Virus Protection Software
