Problem downloading the student edition of Lightroom and Photoshop cs6

I purchased the new lightroom and photoshop in August 2013. Because I purchased the student one I had to send a picture of my student ID card to prove I was a student and a bunch of other things to say which school I go to. Its now Feb 2014 and neither of them are downloaded to my computer and I never got a confirmation email back from adobe.
When It gives me the option to put my serial number in the boxes I always run short.
Has anyone else had this problem? please help me. I don't think I can return them now.

You need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues.

My question is: which one is better for photo editing with photoshop and lightroom?
Someone says that ips is better because of the fidelity of color reproduction, view angles and contrast.
Someone, on the other side, says that the TN 95% is better because of the gamut%.
Can you help me?

Macbook pro is out of budget
Hp assistance said that in italy they don't sell laptop with dreamcolor (i'll call again tomorrow to be sure ) but i think that it would be out of budget (max 2000 euro).
They said that the best solution for me is the zbook 15 g2 (2300 euro), but they DON'T know brand and model of the display and if i can have SSD + HD inside the zbook 15 g2.
The laptop with the lg panel costs 1500 euro. the question is; "i know that the lg display is not the best, but is it almost sufficient for my use?". In this way i may save 500/800 to buy a separated display later.
I have read that dell xps 15 and dell precision m3800 have great display, but they are glossy and very reflective. Is it a big handicap?
Do you know the 3k 15,6" display Panasonic VVX16T020G00 ? It should be a 8-bit display with 72%NTSC gamut ( http://www.panelook.com/VVX16T020G00_Panasonic_15.5_LCM_parameter_22014.html )

You can right click the tab and choose "Close Tab" to close a tab.
Some menu entries are hidden by default and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu.
You can see the difference if you use Alt+F or Alt+B to open the "File" and "Bookmarks" menu and compare that to what you see if you use the mouse to open the menu after you have made the menu bar visible by pressing Alt or by pressing F10.
Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.

32 Bit HDR Problem With Lightroom and Photoshop CS6

In following Julieanne's Adobe TV topic here -> http://tv.adobe.com/watch/the-complete-picture-with-julieanne-kost/quick-tip-creating-32bi t-hdr-images-in-lr-41/ a problem arises when trying to save from Photoshop CS 6. According to Julieanne you hit ctrl-s so that PS saves the HDR image and then it should show up in Lightroom. What I have found is that hitting crtrl-s saves it as a PSD file which does automatically show up in Lightroom, however Lightroom but can't read it. If I do a save-as, and select TIFF as the extension Lightroom will not automatically see the TIFF file. I have to synchronize the folder in order to have Lightroom import it.
Why would Lightroom automatically see a PSD file (that is of no use) and not see the TIFF file?
Is there a setting in PS that will change the preferences to save as a TIFF instead of a PSD file?
Using Lightroom 4.2 and Photoshop CS6.

Go to LR's preferences > External Editing tab and change the top pop-up to TIFF and you should be all set.

I purchased the student version of lightroom and used it on PC. Now just got macbook and would like to install on this but no disc drive on macbook. how can i download it and enter an activation key?

i have activation code. originally purchased via amazon as the disc version and i have this but no disc drive.

Can I use an alternate email address for my redemption number? During the student validation process I was told the number was sent to my student email address but it is not there.

The (?i) makes the search case insensitive in case it wasn't typed as all caps, the ? inside the second grouping makes the shortest match for cases when there is more than one instance in a paragraph, and I've not added any quotes since I presumed those aren't actually in the text.
I would deal with the formatting by typing FREE exactly as you want it someplace on the pastebord, then copy to the clipboard. Change to $1~c which replaces the found string with the text found in the first subexpression (.+?), which is the stuff before the first FREE, and the the formatted contents of the clipboard for the FREE.

I've just downloaded trial versions of both lightroom and Photoshop and with it Bridge.. The output module seems to be missing from Bridge.. Is that just because its a trial version?

I thought i'd trial them first to see how stable they are [which isnt as good as I thought] and went to use the output section of Bridge only to find that its completely not there.
If its no longer part of the CC version, I'll stick to the version I have and not upgrade as its one of the main modules I use..

I've used contact sheets but preferred Bridge as it has the super-easy watermarking

I am trying to edit VOB files and Photoshop cs6 ext. won't accept them.

I am trying to edit some VOB files from my daughter's wedding CD. But Photoshop won't accept that format. I read that I could just change the extension to AVI and drag them in. I did that and it opened them but the video and audio didn't sync. The size was distorted but I figured out that I could change the aspect ratio to widescreen from the view menu which looks pretty normal. But I see black lines on the sides of the video. What do I have to do to be able to edit the video??

VOBs are multiplexed MPEG-2 DVD files and they adhere therefore to the DVD spec - 720x576 pixels, 1.43 pixel aspect ratio. Anyway, you are wasting your time. The files will need to be converted in an external tool to be usable in PS and even then the question is how much sense it makes to edit video in Photoshop, especialyl when it contains audio. Premiere or other edit programs would be much more adequate.

What is the best way to properly activate the Lightroom Student Edition? Is the Student Edition a permanent program or does it deactivate after 2-4 years like some other programs that are student versions?

I just purchased the student edition of Lightroom! I am very excited to use it and start creating beautifully edited photos but I'm a little unsure about a few things. It says I have to prove my eligibility to use the student edition which won't be an issue but what is the quickest and easiest way to submit this proof? Also I am concerned that the student edition will be temporary and I will have bought this program only to have it expire at the end of 4 years like some other programs that are student versions. Is the student edition of Lightroom a permanent program that I will have for life or will it deactivate after I graduate?

When I purchased my academic version of Lightroom, it was a package set. Inside was a yellow card with the instructions on how to verify that I qualified for the academic discount. I submitted my academic e-mail address and other info as requested on that yellow card. Within 5 min. I received my serial number. Very straightforward. I had no problems whatsoever.
There is only one version of the Lightroom program itself. The only difference is in the licensing and pricing. If you qualify for the academic discount, by all means use it. You are purchasing the same Lightroom program that anyone else does. It doesn't expire, there are no missing features, and it can be upgraded when new major versions are released. Those upgrades will cost the same as they cost for any other person, regardless of how they purchased Lightroom.
You can confidently move ahead with obtaining your serial number. The only thing you are doing differently is paying a lower initial purchase price because of your academic status.

Student Edition of Lightroom

Hi, I have download the 30 day free trial of Lightroom. At the end of the 30 days, I want to buy Lightroom as a student. I have the relevant proof - a university email address and a NUS photo ID card. But all the info on the website seems to relate to Creative Cloud which is a monthly paid membership. I don't want Photoshop CC etc, I just want to buy Lightroom as a one-off purchase. Can anyone who has used the 30 day trial tell me if that is an option at the end of the trial?

The trial version of Lightroom, and the full version of Lightroom, and the student version of Lightroom are all precisely the same program. The difference is only in how they are licensed. So you can download the trial version of Lightroom and then go through the academic purchase process (verification, etc.) to acquire your serial number. And you can use that serial number to activate the trial version. Here is the link that I found:

I have the student edition of labview and am trying to turn the program I built to an executable. I am trying to transfer the program to another computer but it needs to be an executable file. I need the software to be able to. What do I buy to upgrade my software just so I can create an executable?
