When you click Download, the download should start automatically. It could be that a pop-up/download blocker/anti-virus is preventing the download. I'm trying to download a trial version copy of InCopy - *just* InCopy, not the whole InDesign Creative Suite. I downloaded the download assistant, logged in with my Adobe ID, and ... nothing. There's no option to download, download didn't start automatically, nothing. What's going on?

I am having problem downolading a trial version of Lightroom 4 from the Adobe site. It appears that I can download trial versions of any other digital photography-related product but not of Lightroom 4. About 2 weeks ago I downloaded the trial version of Adobe Elements and I have been getting familiar with it. I have to make a decision on the best product for my needs.
I went to Vistek shop in Ottawa yesterday and one of the specialist told me that maybe Lightroom would better meet my needs. Prior to purchasing, I am trying to test both product to understand the fundamental differences. For some reason, when I go to the download site ( https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_lightroom) and click on the download button, nothing happens. Given that I am a System's Engineer by trade, I thought that perhaps I cannot install 2 trial copies of adobe products on a single workstation so I tried downloading Lightroom 4 from 3 different PC/laptops but got the same results...
Can anybody help. This is a bit frustrating given that the Adobe element trial is coming to an end (about 2 weeks) and I want to proceed with purchasing the RIGHT PRODUCT...

About the original trial download page you had issues with, it does take a few seconds for the download button to become active, and once you click it, it takes a few more seconds for either a login pop to come up or the download, itself, to start, so maybe you have a popup blocker enabled or some security that doesn’t allow the download to occur. You might try a different browser. The following link is what the download attempts to use, but you need to have signed in to your Adobe account before trying to use it, I think:

I am trying to download the trial version of Lightroom 4 for Windows (English), but nothing happens when I click on the "Download" button. This is very weird. I am a current user of PSE 10, and I would like to see if I should also get Lightroom 4, because I find that the Organizer in PSE is too slow, and hope that Lightroom would be much better from comments I read on the Internet.

I want to download a trial version of CS6 not CS6 extended.

I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing here.
I agree completely, with respective to the Trial version - having some options that you may or may not want available, to try them out, is not a problem.
But once I decide that I do or don't want those extra options, I would like to be able to install only the version with the features that I want. I don't want my hard drive and registry to be cluttered with features/options of the extended version that I do not want.
So back to my original question - is it possible to purchase, and install, the 'plain' CS6 version, and not the CS6-extended version? Again, I'm not talking about the trial version - I'm talking about the final purchased version installed on my computer.
Have I explained it better this time? If I understand the replies above, they indicate that I will have the full CS6-extended version installed on my computer, regardless of whether or not I want that version. The Serial Number/License I purchase will determine which version I will have available to use, but the whole installation will be the same, regardless, with unusued files, folders, etc. from the 'inactive' CS6-extended version.

If you use Photoshop at all, you may need to install the latest update to resolve this issue. See this blog post for more information:

If you do not have Photoshop, then try the solution that others have mentioned previously:
Open the Adobe Application Manager (AAM).
If applicable, let AAM complete any automatic updates and restart itself.

Open a CS6 application (e.g. InDesign CC).
If prompted (e.g. you get the trial screen), click "License This Software" and sign in with your Adobe ID.

I just downloaded trial version -- don't see iPhoto library in Aperture and need to import selected photos to edit, not entire i Photo library! I read manual and it says:
Browsing and Selecting Images in Your iPhoto Library
You use the Aperture iPhoto Browser to review iPhoto images and import specific images into the Aperture library. The iPhoto Browser gives you a handy way of looking for certain images without having to import your entire iPhoto library.
So, where do I review the iPhoto images...there is nothing in there that says "iPhoto Library" Everything I see pertains to Aperture Library which of course is empty since I haven't imported (or dragged) any photos in there yet.
Also is tech support available for Aperture? I have Apple Extended Support and I sure would love it if I had individual help. I have a deadline --3 days to edit 300 photos and I'm a complete amateur. iPhoto doesn't have the capability to erase parts of a face (I need to contour the neck of a mannequin to make it proportionate to the separate head I put on top of it. Question: I have just taken delivery of my LR5 disc. I had already downloaded the trial version. I just tried entering the serial number from my hard copy to authorise my downloaded trial version and it did not recognise the serial number. So, I loaded the hard copy, and the instructions said that it would just overwrite the downloaded version. And again it will not recognise my serial number! I am not wanting to uninstall the trial version as I have already got quite a lot of personal preferences entered etc. Help please. I am on a macbook pro with latest OS

Trouble downloading trial version of PSE 10 onto MacMini
I purchased PSE 10 software to install on my mac mini OSX 10.8.1. When I put the disc into my external drive, the software does not begin installing. I was told to try to download trial version from Adobe and later, enter my Key Code to install software this way. I downloaded the Adobe Download Assistant just fine but am getting Error 109 when I try to download the trial version. My network connection is fine and my disk is brand new. Please help.
Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant
And make sure you use the right disc (Disc 3) in the first place. Macs also do not autorun, so you need to launch the installer manually.

Unable to download trial version of Advanced Block...
The apps 'Advanced Blocker' was found in Ovi Store. The button 'Send to cell' was pressed. I need to pay before download. After installed, it conflicted with antivirus program F-Secure in my Nokia E7. They both could not run at the same time. While F-Secure is running, Advanced Blocker failed to run with error message "Advanced Blocker cannot subscribe to monitor for incoming SMS, because some other application is using this functionality. Please close the other application and start Advanced Blocker again."
If I can try the trial version, I will not pay for it.

Should I uninstall downloaded trial version first?
I have Photoshop CS installed on a G5, and purchased boxed versions of Photoshop CS4 Upgrade and Lightroom 2 Full for a new MacBook Pro. Prior to the boxed versions arriving, I downloaded trial versions of both on the MacBook Pro.
When the boxed versions arrive, is there any reason to unstall both trial versions first rather than just entering the serial numbers on the trial versions downloaded? Are there any extra things that will install during a typical install from the boxed versions that were not downloaded for the trial version installation?

I did call Customer Service, and the rep said I could do either, and could not elaborate on any advantages either way, so I had the impression she was not knowledgable in this.
I think I read somewhere on the site that the trial version could be converted to a full version by entering the serial number, which led to my question.
Anyway, I will follow both your suggestions and completely uninstall the trial versions when I receive the media.

If you have purchased directly from Adobe (online/over the phone), please provide the order number & you can also confirm from your bank if the transaction has been completed or not.
Please mention the product name if purchased from any other sources.Then the serial number issue can be resolved.
As you have mentioned that " Can only download trial versions of apps", I assume it is the trial of Creative cloud, if that is the case then serial number is not required.
Since you have the trial downlaod available so it might be that the creative cloud subscription is not yet active(if it is creative cloud subscription).
