Problem downloading trial version of Acrobat XI

When I attempt tp dowload a trial version of Acrobat XI, i get an error message "Sorry an error has occurred. This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance." I'm running 10.8.2

In case you are facing issues downloading via Download Assistant, please try downloading directly from the Direct Download Links available at : http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-acrobat-xi-pro-standard-reader-direct-download-links.html
But make sure you follow the important steps mentioned on the page before initiating the download.

When you click Download, the download should start automatically. It could be that a pop-up/download blocker/anti-virus is preventing the download. Problem Downloading Trial Version of Lightroom 4 from Adobe Site

I am having problem downolading a trial version of Lightroom 4 from the Adobe site. It appears that I can download trial versions of any other digital photography-related product but not of Lightroom 4. About 2 weeks ago I downloaded the trial version of Adobe Elements and I have been getting familiar with it. I have to make a decision on the best product for my needs.
I went to Vistek shop in Ottawa yesterday and one of the specialist told me that maybe Lightroom would better meet my needs. Prior to purchasing, I am trying to test both product to understand the fundamental differences. For some reason, when I go to the download site ( https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_lightroom) and click on the download button, nothing happens. Given that I am a System's Engineer by trade, I thought that perhaps I cannot install 2 trial copies of adobe products on a single workstation so I tried downloading Lightroom 4 from 3 different PC/laptops but got the same results...
Can anybody help. This is a bit frustrating given that the Adobe element trial is coming to an end (about 2 weeks) and I want to proceed with purchasing the RIGHT PRODUCT...

The link, just above, is the latest update to LR 4.2 which may work fine.
About the original trial download page you had issues with, it does take a few seconds for the download button to become active, and once you click it, it takes a few more seconds for either a login pop to come up or the download, itself, to start, so maybe you have a popup blocker enabled or some security that doesn’t allow the download to occur. You might try a different browser. The following link is what the download attempts to use, but you need to have signed in to your Adobe account before trying to use it, I think:

I am having trouble downloading a trial version of Acrobat X Pro. My computer won't let me save the file anywhere: I have tried the desktop, my user, and various other folders, but the dialogue box continues to tell me to "try another location". I am using Windows 7 64-bit. Browser is Google Chrome. (I tried Internet Explorer - no luck at all).

Downloaded trial version of Acrobat XI Pro. Attempted to launch but dialog box indicated that the version of AcrobatPro_11_Web_WWMUI.exe is not compatible with the version of Windows (check if 32-bit or 64-bit version is needed). I'm running Windows 7 Pro

Could not launch a trial version of Acrobat XI Pro due to compatibility even though I'm running Windows 7 on a 64-bit machine. Any ideas why not?

Acrobat XI is a 32-bit process, but should run on a 64-bit machine unless something is set to lock out 32-bit processes.

Error Msg - 4960 when downloading trial version of Acrobat.

I have been trying for over 24 hours to download a free version of the Acrobat Xi and am not having any luck. This is becoming very frustrating seeing as though I need to create a pdf flyer/brochure by tomorrow, Friday, April 25th. I have uninstalled/reinstalled/deleted everything associated w/the trial and nothing works.

I do not know the file name/ext anymore since it was deleted due to not being able to be installed.

Problems downloading Trial Version of AE

I'm trying to download AE CS3 right from the adobe.com website, and everything runs smoothly until i actually try to run the program.
I download everything and then I click on the AE icon, and I get a dialog box asking if I want to:
A) Type in a serial number
B) Run as 30-day trial
I chose "Run as a 30-day trial" and then the box says, "A problem was encountered while trying to load the trial period for Adobe After Effects. Click Quit to see if restarting your computer or reinstalling the software fixes this problem. Otherwise, click Continue to display a screen whereyou can enter a valid serial number to begin using the product without trial."
I click Quit, and I restart my computer, but I get the same error message. What's wrong?
I'm using Windows Vista 32-bit, and I made sure I chose that option when I started my download.

Run the install as administrator (Right-click, run as...)!!! Vista requires you to do this to gain proper access to all system files and directories.

I have Presenter 9 installed on a Windows 7 laptop, and before deciding to buy Presenter 10 I would like to test its features. However, the installation fails complaining about a conflicting or prerelease version of Adobe Presenter 10 already existing on the computer. I can't find Presenter 10 anywhere (control panel or files. What do I need to do to get Presenter 10 installed (with a trial license) while keeping Presenter 9?

If you don't want to un-install Presenter 9, then you will need a second computer. Different versions of Presenter cannot co-habitate on the same computer.

I have a customer who is seeing a blank screen that opens behind the PDF window when viewing PDFs from our web site. The PDF files are being retrieved from Akamai.I'm trying to recreate the user's problem.
The user has IE9 and Acrobat X. I've tried downloading a trial version of Acrobat XI Pro, but my combination of IE9 and Acrobat XI Pro does not show the same thing he is seeing.

You cannot install a trial version of Acrobat Std. as it's not available.
The main differences between Acrobat 11 Pro and Std. are http://www.adobe.com/in/products/acrobat/product-comparison.html
You can use the trial version of Pro for 30 days and compare the features you require and those you can afford to miss in the Std. version

Problems logging in to get my trial version of Acrobat XI Pro

I'm trying to log in to my trial version of Acrobat pro but it keeps logging in on an old email address, doesn't give me the option to change it and says I need to license it when I haven't even used it yet! If you've used the trial, or installed it before, on this computer (different email or not) you can't do it again. Perhaps that is the problem.
